Final Fantasy XIV fans can expect some server downtime today, June 1 through June 2 2026, to prepare for the next major patch. Like other patches, it’s done overnight for American gamers, and during the day in Japan. This is a pretty significant patch as well, as we get closer and closer to the 2027 launch of the next expansion, Evercold.
If you want to know what’s coming, and how long this downtime is planned to last, look no further! It’s not a 24-hour maintenance, but the server downtime for Final Fantasy XIV on June 1 is lengthy. Here’s what you need to know.
Final Fantasy XIV server downtime on June 1, 2026: When does it start and end?
Final Fantasy XIV’s servers will be down between June 1 and June 2, 2026 for scheduled maintenance. This means you can expect the content for patch 7.51 to begin early in the morning, June 2. Of course, that does depend on what region you’re in. In addition to some exciting new content, there may be some balance adjustments on the way. We’ll have to wait for the full patch notes to come out.

The expected server downtime for FFXIV on June 1, 2026 begins at 9 pm PDT and is scheduled to end at 3 am PDT. This means that for Americans, the game will be up first thing in the morning, and in Europe and beyond, it extends well into the afternoon. Here are the expected times the servers should be up on June 2, 2026:
- United States and South America: 3 am PDT / 4 am MDT / 5 am CDT / 6 am EDT / 8 am BRT
- Europe: 10 am GMT / 10 am UTC / 12 pm CEST / 1 pm EET
- Africa: 12 pm SAST
- Asia: 2 pm GST / 3:30 pm IST / 6 pm PHT / 6 pm CST / 7 pm JST
- Australia: 9 pm AEDT / 10 pm NZDT
What is coming with the Final Fantasy XIV server downtime?
While Final Fantasy XIV patch 7.51 is an important patch, it’s not the biggest in terms of content. That is, unless you care about Race to World First, because Dancing Mad Ultimate (UMAD) opens up, and the Race to World First will begin. There’s no telling who will win, but we’ll be tuned in to see who is the first to topple the “God in need of a comb”, Kefka Palazzo himself.
In addition, Custom Deliveries – Aunt Tii’s Tacos will be available for crafters to take part in when patch 7.51 kicks off. Tiisol Ja is trying to open up a second branch of her restaurant, and it’s up to skilled crafters to give her the head start she needs.
Finally, we have the next Cosmic Exploration adventure coming, and that’s Planet Auxesia, as well as Tool Enhancement Quests for Cosmic Tools. Auxesia is a gorgeous planet that looks like Japan in the spring, and we’ll get to start exploring it this week. This is where the space adventure ends as well, so make sure to take part.
