Netflix’s Addictive 8-Part Hit Surging on the Charts Is the Perfect Season 4 Setup

Published

on

Anna Cathcart as Kitty and Sang Heon Lee as Min-ho in XO, Kitty Season 3.

There’s a very specific kind of show Netflix is good at sneaking up on people with — the ones you don’t plan to care about, and then suddenly you’re five episodes deep, emotionally invested in teenagers making questionable choices. XO, Kitty falls squarely into that category.

This is funny because on paper, it shouldn’t feel like a phenomenon. It’s a spinoff; a side character from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before gets her own show, heads to Seoul, and gets tangled up in romance. You expect something pleasant, maybe a little disposable, but it’s something that keeps you gripped, especially if you cared about the movie franchise in the first place.

What XO, Kitty Is Actually About

Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart) ships herself off to the Korean Independent School of Seoul with a pretty straightforward goal: reunite with her long-distance boyfriend and feel closer to the mother she lost. That plan lasts maybe an episode because XO, Kitty isn’t really interested in letting anything stay simple. Relationships unravel, then re-form in slightly different shapes, crushes multiply, people lie, or don’t lie, exactly, but definitely don’t say the whole truth.

Kitty has always appeared to possess a certain knowledge of love, according to the films, but is discovering that perhaps she doesn’t truly understand it after all, and, rightly, is likely to come to that conclusion. Throughout this series of events, the show plays with the theme of someone who has believed they know what love is, only to be confronted with the reality that they actually don’t. The approach is very direct, but effective.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

There are stretches of XO, Kitty that feel overstuffed. Too many plotlines, not enough breathing room, a tendency to jump ahead and expect you to just catch up. It can feel like you missed an episode even when you didn’t. And yet—it’s hard to stop watching. Part of that is the ensemble. The core group — Kitty, Yuri (Gia Kim), Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee), Dae (Choi Min-yeong), Q (Anthony Keyvan) — has that lived-in, slightly chaotic chemistry that makes even the clunkier storylines go down easier. When they’re all together, the show relaxes a bit; there’s a looseness to those scenes.

Also, and this matters more than the show probably gets credit for, Seoul isn’t just aesthetic window dressing. Kitty’s connection to her Korean heritage — something that started as a vague emotional pull — becomes more specific and more complicated the longer she stays. That thread gives the show weight when the romance starts spinning its wheels.

The Romance Is the Draw—But Not Always the Strength

Gia Kim turns away while prepping tea with Regan Aliyah in XO, Kitty Season 2

This is where things get a little uneven. XO, Kitty sells itself as a romance (and, yes, there’s plenty of that), but the actual execution can feel frustrating in a very specific, very familiar way. Miscommunication stretches on longer than it should. Big emotional beats get delayed, interrupted, sidestepped. You’ll probably find yourself thinking, just say the thing. They almost never do.

Season 3 leans heavily into Kitty’s relationship with Min Ho, which should feel like a payoff after all that buildup. Sometimes it does, but other times, it feels like the show is stalling — creating tension where a single honest conversation would clear everything up. But even when the romance falters, the show doesn’t completely lose you because it’s never just about the couple. it’s about who these characters are becoming around each other, and sometimes despite each other.

It’s Really a Coming-of-Age Story

'XO, Kitty' Season 2, Anna Cathcart taking a selfie with her friends.
‘XO, Kitty’ Season 2, Anna Cathcart taking a selfie with her friends.
Image via Netflix

Even though there are many moments consisting of love triangles, near-confessing to one another, and timing creating dramatic moments, the best moments of XO, Kitty are when romantic moments are completely removed from the series. There are scenes that feature Yuri as she copes with her family breaking apart, Q as he makes decisions he will not be able to easily take back, and also Kitty paying for her impulsive actions for once, and those scenes hit harder than big romantic gestures.

There is a version of this series that embraces that aspect; it embraces the craziness of growing up, and how your identity changes based on where you are located and who you are with. You can see it trying to be that show. Sometimes it gets there. Sometimes it veers back into safer, more familiar territory.

Being tied to To All the Boys is both a strength and a crutch. When familiar faces pop up — like Lara Jean (Lana Condor)— it’s hard not to feel a little hit of recognition. That world still works. The sister dynamic, especially, has an easy warmth to it that the show taps into effectively.

It’s not a perfect series, but it’s watchable in that specific, slightly compulsive way — one episode bleeding into the next, characters getting under your skin before you fully realize it. You start watching out of curiosity, you keep watching because, somehow, you’ve picked sides, and now you kind of need to know what happens next.

R-Rated Historical Epic Resurrects on Streaming for Easter Weekend

Published

on

Claudia Gerini wears a green headdress as Claudia Procles in 'The Passion of the Christ'

When a movie does well in theaters, it tends to do well on other platforms as well. On other occasions, movies that weren’t able to find an audience during their theatrical runs find their people when they’re released on home video. Sometimes, these two categories intersect. A box-office hit that has remained a fan-favorite over the last two decades was resurrected by audiences this past weekend. Over the years, it has emerged as something of an Easter tradition for its admirers, who are now looking forward to a long-awaited sequel that will be released in two parts in 2027. The movie in question remains the top-grossing religious film of all time, and was, until a few years ago, the top-grossing R-rated movie in domestic box-office history.

It grossed more than $610 million worldwide, of which around $370 million came from North American theaters. Released in 2004, the movie was highly controversial for its subject matter and was even banned in a handful of territories owing to its religious themes. A section of the public also accused it of being anti-Semitic, while others took offense to its portrayal of violence, which was perceived as excessive. The late critic Roger Ebert described it as “the most violent film” that he had ever watched. We’re talking, of course, about The Passion of the Christ, directed by Mel Gibson and headlined by Jim Caviezel.

‘The Passion of the Christ’ Is Getting a Long-Awaited Follow-Up

The movie received divisive reviews upon release. It now holds a 50% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, where the consensus reads, “Director Mel Gibson’s zeal is unmistakable, but The Passion of the Christ will leave many viewers emotionally drained rather than spiritually uplifted.” However, the film’s audience score on the aggregator is perched at a far more favorable 81%, which is one of the key reasons for its sustained success at home. According to FlixPatrol, The Passion of the Christ was among the most-watched movies on the domestic iTunes and Vudu charts on Easter. The long-awaited follow-up, The Resurrection of the Christ, will be released in two parts in 2027 and is currently in production. Caviezel won’t be returning as Jesus, with Finnish actor Jaakko Ohtonen cast as his replacement.

Offset is recovering after a frightening incident in Florida that turned from a routine public outing into a police investigation.

The rapper, who was reportedly interacting with fans moments before the chaos unfolded, was shot near a busy hotel and casino.

While early updates suggest his injuries are not life-threatening, the situation has raised concerns among fans, especially given his past ties to tragedy within the hip-hop community.

Offset was reportedly shot on Monday evening near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The 34-year-old artist was injured in an incident that took place in the valet area shortly after 7 p.m.

Speaking to Page Six, the rapper’s representative revealed that Offset survived the shooting and was receiving treatment.

They confirmed that he was “fine” following the incident and added that he “is currently at the hospital receiving medical care.”

The update also noted, “He is stable and being closely monitored,” though details about the severity of his injuries have not been disclosed.

Amid the incident, the authorities also released a statement to the outlet.

“We are aware of an incident that occurred at the valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of  Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” the Seminole County Police Department revealed.

They added that officers were already nearby, allowing them to contain the situation quickly. Police also revealed that two individuals had been detained and that an investigation had begun.

Just minutes before the shooting, Offset appeared relaxed and engaged with fans outside the venue.

Photos taken around 7:10 p.m. and released by TMZ showed him smiling, unaware of what was about to unfold.

Witnesses said the star had been near the entrance, looking toward the valet area while on a phone call.

During that time, several fans approached him, and he reportedly greeted them warmly. He was seen shaking hands, chatting, and even stopping to pose for photos.

The interaction appeared friendly and routine, making the sudden violence that followed all the more shocking. Video clips circulating online later showed police officers rushing to the scene, where they restrained multiple individuals.

In the footage, one man could be seen pinned to the ground while officers worked to control another person who appeared to be resisting.

Offset’s Shooting Comes Years After Takeoff’s Death And Career Changes

The incident comes more than three years after a devastating loss within Offset’s inner circle.

Fellow Migos member Takeoff was shot and killed in 2022 outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas, at the age of 28.

A man named Patrick Xavier Clark was later arrested and charged in connection with the case. Although he has denied responsibility, prosecutors have claimed surveillance footage shows him firing into a crowd. His trial, which has faced delays, is now expected to begin in November.

Takeoff’s death had a major impact on Offset and the group’s future. Migos, which also included Quavo, ultimately disbanded, with each member focusing on solo work.

Offset has since continued building his individual career. He previously found success with collaborative and solo projects, including “Father of 4” and “Set It Off,” the latter of which was delayed following Takeoff’s death before debuting in the top five of the Billboard 200.

More recently, he released his third studio album, “Kiari,” in August 2025, which reached number 16 on the charts.

He also dropped a collaborative project titled “Haunted by Fame,” featuring artists like YoungBoy Never Broke Again, NoCap, and Lil Dump, marking his continued presence in the music scene despite personal and professional challenges.

Cardi B Files For Divorce From Offset

Offset’s recent ordeal comes nearly two years after Cardi B officially filed for divorce from the rapper following years of an on-and-off relationship.

According to reports, the 33-year-old ended the union in August 2024 after the pair had “grown apart,” with sources saying the decision was not driven by a single issue but a buildup over time.

The former couple, who married in 2017, share multiple children together and had previously split and reconciled several times.

Cardi B had earlier filed for divorce in 2020, calling the marriage “irretrievably broken,” though they later reunited before separating again.

However, in 2024, insiders suggested the breakup was final, with Cardi B reportedly seeking primary custody of their children.

Despite the split, sources noted there was no major hostility, as both stars focused on co-parenting while moving forward separately after nearly seven years together.

Offset Allegedly Asked Cardi B For Millions While Facing Massive Tax Debt

Offset’s divorce from Cardi B grew increasingly tense after reports detailed the rapper’s steep financial demands while he was dealing with significant debt.

As The Blast reported, Cardi B alleged that her ex-husband had refused to finalize their split unless she agreed to give him “millions of dollars,” cover his outstanding tax bills, and even transfer ownership of one of her properties.

At the time, Offset was reportedly facing more than $2.3 million in unpaid taxes owed to the IRS and the state of Georgia, placing him under intense financial pressure.

Records later showed he cleared a major portion of that burden, paying about $1.5 million in federal taxes, though he still had roughly $778,000 in remaining liabilities.

Cardi B publicly pushed back against the demands, noting that she wished Offset would suffer and die a “slow death.”

In Just 5 Days, New Sci-Fi Adventure Earns 10x the Gross of One of the Worst Video Game Movies Ever

Published

on

Bowser and Bowser Jr. in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

After earning $1.3 billion with the 2023 blockbuster The Super Mario Bros. Movie, hopes were high that the world’s favorite pair of animated Italian plumbers could return with another huge hit this past weekend. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which made its big box office splash on April 1, has done exactly that, scoring the highest-grossing opening weekend of 2026 so far with an enormous $372 million worldwide, split between a domestic haul of $190 million and a further $182 million from overseas markets.

This opening haul will come as no surprise to most, given the huge success of the first installment and the global phenomenon that is the original Nintendo video game series. Add to this a voice cast that delivered a host of returning favorites in Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, and Jack Black, alongside franchise newcomers Glen Powell, Brie Larson, and Donald Glover, and a recipe for financial success is born. Far from his familiar Mushroom Kingdom, the new movie follows Mario as he joins Peach and Luigi on an adventure spanning the cosmos.

In its instant rise to the top of the box office charts, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has overcome the dominant Spring force of the Ryan Gosling-led sci-fi flick Project Hail Mary, which is already an early contender for Academy Awards success in 2027. Based on the bestselling book by Andy Weir, Project Hail Mary had first held the record for the highest-grossing opening weekend of the year before that total was smashed by the Mario sequel.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ Has Already Crushed a Despised Video Game Adaptation

Both Project Hail Mary and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie can be pleased with their success despite being competitors, something that couldn’t be said in 2024 for the video game adaptation Borderlands. Led by Oscar-winners Cate Blanchett and Jamie Lee Curtis, Borderlands finally arrived following almost a decade in development hell. However, it likely now wishes it had stayed there, with its lifetime gross of just $33 million marking an enormous disappointment, especially considering it was against a reported budget of $120 million. In just a few days, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has already earned more than ten times this total, showcasing both ends of the video game adaptation spectrum of success.

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is available in theaters now. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Blake Lively Says ‘Momming Always Continues’ Amid Legal Drama

Published

on

Blake Lively Easter table

Blake Lively offered a glimpse into her family life over the weekend, sharing a quiet Easter moment with her children as her legal case tied to “It Ends with Us” continues to unfold. The 38-year-old actress took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to post a lighthearted snapshot of bunny-shaped scrambled eggs she prepared for her kids. Alongside the image, Lively wrote, “Momming always continues on,” adding a string of heart and bunny emojis. Lively, who shares four children with husband Ryan Reynolds, appeared to be embracing the holiday at home just days after a major development in her legal dispute with co-star Justin Baldoni.

Blake Lively’s Case Against Justin Baldoni Narrowed Ahead Of Trial

Last week, Manhattan U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman dismissed the majority of claims Lively had filed against Baldoni, including allegations related to conspiracy and defamation.

Of the original 13 claims, three remain active as the case moves toward a tentative May 18 trial date: retaliation, aiding and abetting retaliation, and breach of contract. The ruling significantly narrowed the scope of the case but allows its central arguments to proceed in court.

Following the decision, attorney Sigrid McCawley emphasized that the case remains focused on retaliation and reputational harm. “This case has always been and will remain focused on the devastating retaliation and the extraordinary steps the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively’s reputation,” McCawley said in a statement.

She further argued that Lively was targeted for advocating for safety on set, adding that the upcoming trial will continue to examine what she described as coordinated online attacks.

McCawley also addressed the dismissal of the sexual harassment claims, explaining that the court’s decision was tied to Lively’s classification as an independent contractor rather than an employee, not a determination of wrongdoing.

In a statement shared to social media on Friday, Lively expressed gratitude that the case will move forward in part, saying she is prepared to present her experience in full. “I am grateful for the court’s ruling, which allows the heart of my case to be presented to a jury next month,” she wrote, adding that she hopes to speak not only for herself but for others who may not have the same opportunity.

The actress acknowledged she never intended to pursue legal action but felt compelled to do so after what she described as ongoing retaliation tied to her requests for a safer working environment. “The last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit,” she said, “but I brought this case because of the pervasive retaliation I faced… for asking for a safe working environment for myself and others.”

She also noted that, regardless of the trial’s outcome, she hopes the case contributes to broader conversations around workplace safety and accountability.

Attorneys for Baldoni, Alexandra Shapiro, and Jonathan Bach welcomed the court’s decision, particularly the dismissal of the sexual harassment allegations and claims against individual defendants. “These were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the court for its careful review of the facts, law, and voluminous evidence,” they said in a statement.

They added that the case is now “significantly narrowed” and expressed confidence in presenting their defense as the remaining claims head to trial.

Taylor Swift Reportedly ‘Relieved’ As Case Takes Turn

Sources close to Taylor Swift say the pop superstar is quietly breathing a sigh of relief following the latest development in Blake Lively’s ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

According to insiders who spoke with journalist Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, Swift views the court’s decision as a meaningful shift, one that could signal the beginning of the end. “It’s a huge relief,” one source said. “This case just got dramatically weaker.”

The insider also suggested there is confusion surrounding Lively’s next steps. “No one understands why Blake isn’t trying to settle,” they claimed. “From the outside, it looks like she’s already lost.”

Beyond the legal implications, timing appears to be a key concern for Swift. As her reported summer wedding to Travis Kelce approaches, sources say the singer is eager to distance herself from the situation altogether. “She wants this wrapped up before her summer wedding,” the insider added. “The timing couldn’t be worse.”

Inside Anna Duggar’s ‘Nightmare’ After Josh’s Conviction

Inside Anna Duggar Nightmare Family Has Urged Her to Leave Convicted Sex Offender Husband Josh Kids

Even though Anna Duggar’s seemingly picture perfect life in Arkansas was turned upside down after her husband Josh Duggar was found guilty of child pornography, she has stuck by the sex offender’s side since his conviction nearly five years ago despite her family’s objections, Us Weekly has learned exclusively.

“Anna has several family members who have strongly encouraged her to leave Josh,” a source tells Us Weekly. “It has been very difficult to have those conversations because Anna has always been so supportive of Josh, but the family felt that they had to let her know their thoughts.”

The insider notes that Anna’s loved ones “do not want to lose their relationship with her, so they try to let her know what they think while also remaining supportive family members.”

Her family’s disapproval is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what Anna has endured since Josh’s 2021 conviction.

“It is a nightmare for Anna that she will be dealing with for many, many years to come,” the source says of the scandal’s aftermath. “The only positive thing right now is that he is out of the picture [while in jail].”

Anna — who shares children Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella and Madyson with her 38-year-old husband— is trying to focus on the positives in her life while Josh serves more than 12 years in prison.

“Anna has worked very, very hard to get to where she is right now,” the insider explains. “She is not living with the Duggars and has begun to set up her own life.” (Anna, 37, was reportedly living on the Duggar compound in Arkansas as recently as last year.)

“She has worked very hard to be strong and to stay out of the news and rebuild her life to a degree,” the insider adds.

Zendaya at the Los Angeles Premiere Of A24's "The Drama"

Zendaya is currently experiencing one of the busiest years of her career. Not only is she starring in A24’s critically acclaimed “The Drama” alongside Robert Pattinson, but her HBO series, “Euphoria”, is set to return following a years-long hiatus. Now, the actress is opening up about the show, saying she thinks this may be the final season.

Zendaya appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” on April 6 to promote “The Drama” and her several other projects. During the discussion, host Drew Barrymore mentioned “Euphoria” and asked if the upcoming third season would be the final outing for the HBO drama series.

Zendaya responded, “I think so, yeah.” Barrymore then said, “I never want to ask questions like that, because it’s not my business, and yet, is this to be enjoyed knowing [it will end]?”

After that, Zendaya stated, “Yes, I think so,” before saying, “That closure is coming.” So far, HBO has neither confirmed nor denied that “Euphoria” will end after season three.

Season three of “Euphoria” has been highly anticipated, as it’s been four years since the second installment. HBO announced in December 2025 that the show would finally return on April 12. After that, the network released full-length trailers in March, following a series of teasers.

According to Variety, this season will feature a time jump, giving a look at the characters as they navigate adult life. In addition to Zendaya, the ensemble cast includesJacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo, and more.

Fans Are Reacting To The Possible End Of ‘Euphoria’

As mentioned, there is no official confirmation that “Euphoria” will end with season three, despite Zendaya’s public comments. However, fans of the show are reacting, with many saying they already believed this would be the show’s final season before Zendaya’s “Drew Barrymore Show” appearance.

One person said on X, “HBO staying silent is classic corporate chess — they get the viral speculation for free while keeping the door cracked for spin-offs, movies, whatever prints money later. Smart, but it also feels like they know the lightning-in-a-bottle era is over.”

They continued, “Look, Euphoria changed television. It made us feel uncomfortable on purpose, launched half the young cast into superstardom, and gave Zendaya the kind of role most actors wait a lifetime for. But dragging it past this season risks turning it into the show that used to be great.”

Another “Euphoria” fan said, “Zendaya saying ‘I think so’ for Euphoria… yeah, that sounds like the end is near.” Lastly, someone else wrote, “lowkey gutted that season 3 is the last of ‘Euphoria.’”

One of Zendaya’s several projects released in 2026 was “The Drama,” which arrived in movie theaters on April 3. According to BoxOfficeMojo, the movie debuted at number three in the US, making $14,380,197. “The Drama” came in behind “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie” and “Project Hail Mary” in the number one and two positions, respectively.

Regarding reviews, “The Drama” currently has a 77% rating from critics and an 81% rating from audiences, making it “certified fresh” with both. This is despite TMZ having revealed the controversial twist of the movie, which is that Zendaya’s character once considered going through with a school shooting.

Because of the film’s subject matter, some critics vowed not to review it, and it also drew attention from various gun violence prevention organizations, such as March For Our Lives, according to IndieWire.

As mentioned, 2026 will be among the busiest 12 months of Zendaya’s stellar career. This is evidenced by the fact that she will have five projects released to the work before the end of the year. Following “The Drama” and “Euphoria,” she will appear in “The Odyssey” and “Spiderman: Brand New Day,” both of which are releasing in July.

After that, Zendaya will star in “Dune: Part Three,” in which her “The Drama “co-star Pattinson will also appear.

Regarding her busy schedule, Zendaya told Fandango in March 2026 that she would take a break after this year. She said, “I guess, you know, I just hope people don’t get sick of me. I really appreciate everyone who supports any of the movies or who supports my career in any kind of way.”

Zendaya went on, “I’m deeply appreciative, and like I said, I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year because I’ll tell you what: after this, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit.”

“Euphoria” premieres on HBO and HBO Max on April 12.

Ashley Iaconetti Calls Gerry Turner Divorce 'B.S.'

Former “Bachelor” contestant Ashley Iaconetti is laying into “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Taylor Frankie Paul. As Paul continues to deal with the aftermath of ABC canceling her season of “The Bachelorette” two days before it was scheduled to premiere, more and more people are speaking out about what drove the network to that decision.

Speaking with Variety, Iaconetti, who is reclaiming her star as the newest cast member on Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Rhode Island,” called Paul’s situation with the network “nuanced” before sharing even more of her opinion.

“It’s a good thing they didn’t go forth with the season,” she said. However, Iaconetti said the network should’ve decided to pull Paul’s season sooner. “That was a decision that should have been made more carefully earlier on.”

As reported by The Blast, ABC canceled Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” after a video of her appearing to assault her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, was shared online.

Paul displayed appalling behavior in the clip, striking Mortensen, pulling his hair, wrapping her arms around his body, and later throwing metal chairs at him.

Mortensen appeared distraught in the video, crying out for Paul to stop. “This is called physical abuse. This is all you do,” he could be heard saying. “It’s the only thing you know how to do is hurt me. You think this is OK? It’s not OK. Holy sh-t.”

ABC released a statement shortly after, saying it was focusing on supporting Paul and her family at the time, but Iaconneti said there was nothing new about the released clip.

“We knew very much in detail, based on a lot of the interviews that she’s given, exactly what happened in the video and what led to the arrest,” she said. “You guys did have her on a TV show for four seasons.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Iaconetti called the events of that night in 2023 “terrible” and said it was one reason Paul wasn’t the right fit for the iconic franchise.

“That wasn’t an appropriate role for her to fill,” she said, adding, “and probably was not something that she was mentally, emotionally ready to take on for many reasons—the fact that she was so intertwined with Dakota going into it being one of them.”

Paul’s rep addressed the news in a statement to Variety, thanking the public for their support.

“After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm,” their statement read.

Paul Is Being Investigated Right Now

Amid this, production on season 5 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” was halted, according to NBC News, after Paul and Mortensen were involved in another alleged domestic dispute in February 2026.

While the details of the most recent alleged dispute have been kept under wraps, a friend of Mortensen’s called the Draper Police Department and said he was a “victim of a domestic violence assault by an ex-girlfriend at her Draper residence.”

The police department declined to share additional details, but a spokesperson confirmed there was an open investigation.

Paul Shares Candid Post On Social Media Saying She Is Distancing Herself From The Mormon Church

Paul shared a post on social media calling the last 40 days “hell on earth.” Despite that, Paul said she’s relied on her faith to get her through.

In another post, however, Paul admitted the way she practices her faith would look different moving forward.

“Born and raised Mormon (LDS) and I’ll always have love and respect towards it,” she said on her Instagram Stories. “I’ll even continue to go with my family at times; with that being said, it’s time to detach myself from it.”

And while Paul said she’ll always believe in Jesus Christ and God, she stated that she’s realized she can practice her faith anywhere, not just inside the physical church.

“Point being, there is more out there to learn. And I’m writing this out as a release,” Paul finished.
