Boy, 3, Dead After Wandering From Home Around Midnight
A 3-year-old child from Wisconsin who went missing from home in the middle of the night was found dead the next morning.
The toddler has not been publicly identified. However, New London, Wisconsin police issued a missing persons post via Facebook on Monday, April 13, and shared a photo of the young boy. Authorities said that he was last seen near a middle school around midnight.
In the post, the boy was described as standing 3-foot and having brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange Chicago Bears shirt and a diaper.
Police did not name the school where the child was last seen in their press release, though WLUK and WFRV reported that it was New London Middle School.
The young boy reportedly wandered about four blocks away from his family’s home after his dad checked on him around midnight, according to WLUK. Police were then contacted around 5 a.m. regarding his disappearance.
He was reportedly found in the Wolf River at 7:17 a.m. and was transported to ThedaCare-New London facility, where he was later pronounced dead, according to WFRV. It is not currently known how long the boy was in the water or how he got there.
The New London Police Department did not immediately respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment regarding the boy’s death.
John Faucher, who owns local store Johnny’s Little Shop of Bait, spoke to WSAW about the incident, explaining that he saw police activity near the river after an Amber Alert was issued for the boy.
“We saw drones. We saw lots of county squads, city squads,” Faucher told the outlet. “I think we had a lot of inter-agency support from other communities here in town. Being right here, so close to the middle school, there was a lot of that presence right here, right away in the morning. Before it even got light out, there were teams out looking.”
Faucher also said that there were recent flooding concerns near Wolf River, with water levels now above 10 feet. He added that the conditions on the river are not normal for this time of year, which has caused concern for nearby business owners.
“It hit up to 10.26 feet, which is getting pretty close to where we get really nervous,” Faucher said. “We’re sandbagging here, just because we know it probably could come back up.”
The current is strong and water levels are higher than normal due to the recent rain, according to Faucher.
“It doesn’t look dangerous, but this is [a] pretty dangerous current level for even healthy people,” he said. “Definitely don’t recommend being anywhere around it without life jackets. You can pinch your hands in docks and different things, and things appear slowly when they’re floating down towards you, but they come with pretty good momentum at 10,000 cubic feet per second.”

Candace Owens Addresses Erika Kirk Pulling Out of Event
Political commentator Candace Owens has slammed Erika Kirk for pulling out of a Turning Point USA event alongside Vice President JD Vance at the last minute.
Taking to X on Tuesday, April 14, just hours after Erika, 37, confirmed she was cancelling her appearance at the University of Georgia due to alleged security threats, Owens, 36, claimed the circumstances were falsely reported.
“Stop. This is exhausting. You pulled out because of bad ticket sales. For the same reason TPFaith had to “reschedule” the Pastor’s Summit and various other events quietly,” Owens directed to Erika, referring to Turning Point USA Faith, a division of the organization that is staging the Fast Forward Pastors’ Summit in Texas on April 21. (It is unclear when the original scheduling was set.)
Owens’ post replied directly to Erika’s earlier X post that announced her event withdrawal. “I was so looking forward to tonight’s event at the @universityofga with our Vice President @JDVance, but after all our family has been through, I take my security team’s recommendations extremely seriously,” Erika had written.
Owens continued, “People don’t believe you and don’t line up for you because you struggle to tell the truth about even the most basic facts. Where is the video of Charlie appointing you as CEO weeks before his death?” (Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA and Erika’s late husband, was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 10, 2025. He was 31 years old.)
A report by Fox 5 Atlanta on Tuesday stated that Vance, 41, said on stage that he had consulted with the Secret Service in light of “threats” that had been directed towards Erika.

Candace Owens Jason Kempin/Getty Images
Owens, who has maintained an ongoing feud with Erika in the wake of Charlie’s death, disputed the claim, writing in her post, “The Secret Service sits above your security team. Were there actually a viable threat, the vice president would not have continued the event.”
Owens concluded her post with one final criticism aimed at Erika and her Turning Point USA team. “Your closest threat is the s*** public relations team you hired that continues to operate under the delusion that they are smarter than the public. They aren’t,” Owens wrote.
Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet detailed Erika’s no-show while stepping into her place at Tuesday’s event. “I’m on stage here instead of our friend Erika Kirk because unfortunately she has received some very serious threats in her direction, which is terrible,” Kolvet told the crowd. “It’s a terrible reflection on the state of reality and the state of the country.”
Vance also commented on Erika’s absence, telling the room, “Well, first of all, I love Erika. And I know that she did get some threats. And, you know, about two hours ago, Andrew, I was a little worried that we were going to have to cancel the event because Erika was not going to come, and she was very worried about it,” Vance said. “I said, ‘You know what? Let’s let Erika do what she needs to do for herself and her family.’ The people telling you that Erica wasn’t grieving her husband are full of s***, and we need to be honest. But if your instinct is to go after a young mother because she’s grieving in a way that you find wrong, well, why don’t you stay in your lane and mind your own business?”

Erika Kirk Olivier Touron / AFP
Owens’ feud with Erika was ignited when she started sharing conspiracy theories about Charlie’s murder via social media. The posts led Erika to ask Owens to “stop” during a December 2025 interview with CBS News.
Despite a “very productive conversation” between the duo in the weeks that followed, Owens continued to speak out against Erika at the beginning of 2026, leaking apparent audio of Erika speaking to Turning Point USA team members two weeks after Charlie’s death.
Owens claimed at the time that Erika’s tone was audibly “upbeat” and “off putting.”

RHOSLC Star Bronwyn Newport and Husband Todd Bradley Split After 9 Years!
RHOSLC Star Bronwyn Newport and Husband Todd Bradley Split After 9 Years!
Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Bronwyn Newport and her husband Todd Bradley are officially calling it quits — and the split comes right as their marriage drama is playing out on screen.
After nine years of marriage, Bronwyn, 40, and Todd, 65, have separated. A rep for Bronwyn confirms to PEOPLE that “after thoughtful consideration, Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley have separated.” According to her rep, “This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another,” adding that the former couple is asking for privacy as they navigate the fallout.
Fans of RHOSLC have already watched the cracks form in real time. Bronwyn Newport revealed that rumors exploded on Twitter accusing her husband, Todd Bradley, of cheating after a stranger claimed they saw him on a flight to New York looking at photos of other women on his phone and possibly communicating with someone behind her back.
Bronwyn said she believed the tip because the person provided specific flight details, and when she confronted Todd, he dismissed it as “gossip and nonsense” supposedly started by her friends. Unconvinced and furious after receiving screenshots of the claims, Bronwyn admitted she told Todd to stay at a hotel and give her space.
Despite the drama, Bronwyn stunned Whitney by admitting that sexy photos wouldn’t necessarily bother her if it was something they discussed beforehand, even saying she might consider an open marriage. In season five, she recalled a moment when her daughter Gwen allegedly caught Todd texting another woman, which led to a confrontation.
Bronwyn stressed that her marriage has had “very low lows,” explaining that she wanted the other women to see her vulnerability and understand that she “bleed[s] the same way” they do and “cry about things” too.
And of course, no RHOSLC season would be complete without a wild rumor. In Season 6, Episode 8, Angie Katsanevas admitted she “couldn’t hold it in any longer” and accused Lisa of spreading gossip that Todd was allegedly “making out” with one of Angie’s friends — “while farting the entire time.”
Bronwyn first met Todd in San Francisco while working in finance. The two exchanged emails, fell in love, and eventually tied the knot in two ceremonies in 2016. Nearly a decade later, their once-polished marriage has unraveled — on camera and off.
And now, with the separation confirmed, fans are left wondering: was this ending inevitable all along?

Born Again’ Season 2 Officially Reminds Us Why the Original Netflix Series Was So Perfect
Editor’s note: The below contains spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Episode 5.
Only five episodes in, and Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has managed to rectify many of its first season mistakes. We could go on about how Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) feels like himself again, or how the full-time return of Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) is a step in the right direction, but that’s only the beginning of it. “The Grand Design” recaptures the magic of the original Daredevil by cleverly balancing superhero action, courtroom drama, and religious themes that speak to the Marvel hero’s entire being. While the episode at large is an impressive homage to the Netflix show, there’s one sequence in particular that really seals the deal.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’s Foggy Flashback Perfectly Encapsulates the Show’s Most Compelling Theme
Following the shooting of Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer), “The Grand Design” is framed around a combination of flashbacks to the time before the first season of Netflix’s Daredevil as Kingpin’s bride fights for her life. Simultaneously, Daredevil and Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) attempt to do the same by evading the Anti-Vigilante Task Force, which eventually takes them to the late Father Lantom’s (Peter McRobbie) old church. Not only does this place hold significance for both of them, but it represents the very ideals that Matt claims to stand for, ideals that are soon challenged. When the Task Force comes knocking, Matt can’t give up his life for Bullseye. He abandons the wounded assassin and heads for the hills. Yet, upon reaching the edge of the church grounds, he has a revelation.
Earlier, “The Grand Design” gives viewers a glimpse of a time when Elden Henson‘s Foggy Nelson helped his old childhood bully, Lionel “Ray” McCoy (Nathan Wallace). After getting him out of any extra jail time, Foggy took things a step further by sacrificing Nelson & Murdock’s savings to help Ray get out of town before his old mob contacts could kill him. It’s this example of pure mercy that encourages Matt to be a better man. In the end, he goes back for Bullseye, regardless of his own personal feelings regarding Foggy’s killer, choosing to save his life. It’s no wonder that “The Grand Design” is a triumph of an episode. Between its basic structure, powerful ideas, and strong returning cast members (Henson is perfect as ever), it has managed to catch lightning in a bottle. What really makes this flashback scene stick out, this momentary recollection on Matt’s part, is the internal conflict it represents for the titular hero.
‘Daredevil’s Love Interests, Ranked by Chemistry With Matt Murdock
Daredevil in the streets and in the sheets.
After spending much of last season rediscovering his faith, Matt has struggled under the rule of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) to be the man who Father Lantom and his mother, Sister Maggie Grace (Joanne Whalley), knew he could be. But thinking back on what Foggy did for Ray, a man who once tormented him as a child and couldn’t care less about him, he is reminded that mercy is not for those who “deserve” it, but for those who need it. Although Foggy wasn’t Catholic, his example of what it means to be merciful spoke to Matt on a deep, spiritual level back then — and it does the same in the present.
‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Is a Reminder of Matt Murdock’s Driving Force
Matt knows that without his help, Fisk’s Task Force will kill Bullseye — and while a part of him may want the assassin dead, he is reminded by Foggy’s example (not to mention the stained-glass depictions on the literal church around him) that “mercy” is far better than revenge. As Cox recently put it in an interview with Collider:
“I don’t believe that, in his right mind, Matt wants anyone dead. I think the preservation of life is sacred to him. No matter who that person is. And so that’s part of the turmoil that he lives with. That’s part of the torment, is not feeling such animosity towards another human being, but also knowing that the remedy for that is to pray for them and to give them and to give them another chance. That’s why he’s such an interesting superhero, because of his unwavering faith.”
Matt’s struggle to forgive Bullseye is brilliantly contrasted with Foggy’s merciful act toward his old childhood bully. This is the type of material where Daredevil, as a character, absolutely thrives. The original series was often full of moments like these. Even Daredevil and Bullseye’s discussion about God’s providential plan feels remarkably similar to Daredevil Season 3. With “The Grand Design,” Matt Murdock has once more been “born again,” hoping to be the type of hero who would make Foggy proud.

‘Invincible’s Action-Packed Penultimate Chapter Raises the Stakes for an Exhilarating Season 4 Finale
Editor’s note: The below recap contains spoilers for Invincible Season 4 Episode 7.
It’s time for war! That’s what Thaedus has been declaring numerous times in the last few episodes of Invincible. Last week’s episode saw Mark (Steven Yeun) spend two months recovering after his near-death encounter with Conquest (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). While nursing Mark back to health, Nolan (J.K. Simmons) and Oliver (Christian Convery) finally begin to bond, with the latter finally believing that his father has truly changed for the better.
Once reunited with Thaedus (Peter Cullen), Allen (Seth Rogen), Tech Jacket (Zoey Deutch), Telia (Tatiana Maslany), and Battle Beast (Michael Dorn) on Talescria, they are ambushed by Thragg (Lee Pace) and his Viltrumite army. While this battle led to Thragg retreating, it has left Talescria decimated, and Thaedus announces that they must travel to Viltrum. Episode 7, “Don’t Do Anything Rash,” is another shocking and action-packed chapter, as we finally get to see Mark go to Viltrum and learn a little more about its history in the process.
Thragg’s Origins are Revealed in ‘Invincible’ Season 4 Episode 7
The episode begins with a flashback during the reign of Emperor Argall (Frank Welker), with the character finally making his physical debut in the series. After they conquer and enslave an alien planet, their plans to deplete it of resources are thwarted once again when an alien plants an explosive on one of their devices. In a briefing led by Argall, a young Thaedus suggests that Viltrumites have always shown respect towards signs of strength and should let the planet go. Argall and Thragg scoff at the idea.
While meeting in private, Thragg expresses concern to Argall that while Thaedus was once ruthless, his softness could be a potential threat to Viltrum. Once the Argall is left alone, Thaedus sneaks into his chambers and prepares to assassinate him. While announcing Argall’s death to the public, Thragg steps into the role of Grand Regent and orders the Viltrumites to “cut the cancer out.” This leads the Viltrumites to begin killing each other. Thragg solemnly waits on the throne and re-emerges to see the wreckage, telling the survivors, “It is done,” leading a Viltrumite chant declaring, “All is ours.”
In the present, Thaedus tells Mark, Nolan, Oliver, Allen, Telia, Tech Jacket, Battle Beast, and Space Racer (Winston Duke) tha Thragg has retreated to Viltrum. However, while Thragg has already reached his destination, many of the remaining Viltrumites will not be there for several days. Allen speaks out, pondering the question if killing Thragg will only fuel the Viltrum Empire’s rage even further. Thaedus says that once Thragg is dead, the remaining Viltrumites will die off, one by one. They need to focus on killing Thragg.
Mark records one last video message to Eve, stating that everyone is extremely nervous about fighting Thragg, even Nolan, saying, “This feels different.” He opts not to send the message, proclaiming, “I love you, and I’m coming back.” In the meantime, Oliver, Allen, Tech Jacket, Telia, and Battle Beast attempt to eat, but can’t bring themselves to do so. Battle Beast says that they “must nourish before battle.” They then go around and state what they would like their final meals to be. In another room, Thaedus and Nolan talk, with the latter saying that while he agrees about killing Thragg, he has concerns about whether the end goal is to wipe out all Viltrumites, including Mark and Oliver. Telia announces that they’ve reached Viltrum’s center, and that it’s time to get ready. They formulate a plan to stick together when confronting Thragg; nobody can try to take him on alone. Nolan and Oliver share a hug alongside Mark, while Allen bids farewell to Telia, as they make the trek outside.
Oliver Gets Hurt in ‘Invincible’ Season 4 Episode 7
Mark is shocked when he sees a ring of corpses surrounding Viltrum, and he is told that this is deliberate; it’s a warning against weakness. What’s even more troubling is that Thragg is already waiting for them, floating within the ring of corpses; he knew about the coming attack. Thragg calls on Kregg (Clancy Brown), Anissa (Shantel VanShanten), Thula (Grey Griffin), and Lucan (Phil LaMarr) to attack the team. Tech Jacket uses a limited supply of syringes full of the Sinlak Beetle compound to fire at the Viltrumites, to make them weaker to physical injury, while Space Racer flies in and lets loose several Ragnars to attack. Space Racer’s helmet is shattered, and he begins to suffocate, only for Tech Jacket to fly in and rescue him.
Nolan confronts Thragg, who then punches down to Viltrum’s surface, telling him to “come home.” Nolan refuses to betray the Coalition, calling Viltrum a tomb and stating that “You’re not my family anymore.” Thragg attempts to find other ways to get Nolan to double-cross Thaedus, including bringing up the safety of Mark and Oliver. In the throne room, Thragg tells Nolan that fighting for Thaedus is fighting for his, Mark’s, and Oliver’s destruction. Nolan stresses that if Thragg agrees to stop the fighting, he will spare him, and he’s willing to go against Thaedus’ orders. Still in denial, Thragg rejects Nolan’s offer, telling him, “A death in any Viltrumite leaves a void in me,” before punching him back up into orbit.
Thragg flies back up into the battle, where Oliver, going against orders, attempts to take him on alone. This goes horribly wrong, with Thragg ripping off Oliver’s jaw and right arm. Mark sees this happen, causing his rage to ignite once more, threatening, “I killed Conquest, I’ll kill you too.” For a moment, everybody, both heroes and Viltrumites, pauses their fighting and stares at Mark. Mark attempts to punch Thragg, but Thragg is resistant to any damage that is thrown at him.
Upon seeing the gravely wounded Oliver, Nolan comes up with an idea, calling upon the team to follow his lead and for Space Racer to fire his Infinity Ray into Viltrumite’s surface. As they begin their descent, both Allen and Tech Jacket are taken out, leaving only Thaedus, Mark, Nolan, and Space Racer embarking on the dangerous trek. Mark, Nolan, and Thaedus attempt to reach the center of Viltrumite in order to pave a path for Space Racer’s blast to reach the core. Their plan is a success, and Viltrum is completely annihilated, leaving nothing but debris.
Thaedus Meets a Grim and Grisly Fate in ‘Invincible’ Season 4 Episode 7
As everyone stops and stares in shock at the remains of Viltrum, Thaedus says that this was the only way to show them the truth: “Viltrumites, your world has been destroyed. Surrender is your only option.” Thragg screams, “I choose death,” flies towards Thaedus, and rips off his head, announcing that Emperor Argall’s death has finally been avenged. Mark orders Allen to find Oliver, while Thragg grabs hold of Nolan and flies off with him.
Mark watches in terror as Thragg ruthlessly beats Nolan, punching a hole through his chest. Mark once again tries to attack, but Thragg grabs him by the head and begins to gouge his eyes out. The other Viltrumites arrive, telling Thragg to finish him off, but he stops short, saying, “We got too few already.” As Mark and Nolan’s bodies float through space, they are found by Telia and the crew. Episode 7 ends weeks later with Mark waking up to find that Allen has now become the interim leader of the Coalition of Planets. Allen leads Mark to a room where a recovering Nolan watches an unconscious Oliver floating in a stasis tank, informing Mark that his brother will be OK. As Allen briefs him about the status of Thragg, Mark realizes that he and the other Viltrumites are heading to Earth.
“Don’t Do Anything Rash” is another outstanding episode, featuring a full-circle moment for Nolan, an exciting battle against the Viltrumites, and an intriguing backstory for Thragg. It’s also one of the fastest-paced episodes of the entire season, almost to an overwhelming degree — but Invincible is no stranger to being intense. As Season 4’s penultimate episode, it successfully sets up dire stakes for what is sure to be an explosive finale.

RHOA Star Shamea Morton SUES Atlanta Doctor After Chemical Peel BURNS Her Back!
RHOA Star Shamea Morton SUES Atlanta Doctor After Chemical Peel BURNS Her Back!
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shamea Morton is taking legal action after what she claims was a cosmetic procedure gone horribly wrong.
According to Us Weekly, Shamea is accusing an Atlanta doctor of “negligently burning” her during a chemical peel — an ordeal she says left her with extensive, permanent scarring. On October 31, Shamea Morton and her husband, Gerald Mwangi, filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against Jing Jing Wong Harris, M.D., her company Pretty Faces Atlanta, and several other defendants.
Court documents state that Shamea underwent a chemical peel at Pretty Faces Atlanta on March 13, 2024, but alleges she never should have been cleared for the procedure in the first place. The lawsuit claims Shamea suffers from Tinea Versicolor, a fungal skin condition, and says she should have been referred to “a trained and qualified dermatologist” instead of receiving the peel.
Even if she didn’t have the condition, Shamea argues the treatment was still inappropriate — especially given her skin type. According to the suit, the peel performed (including two passes) was “completely inappropriate” for her African American skin, particularly without any skin prep or pigment correction using medical-grade skincare or less aggressive treatments beforehand.
The lawsuit goes on to accuse a third-party defendant of using a chemical peel that was far too strong on Shamea Morton’s back and arms — allegedly without Harris’ supervision. Morton claims the procedure resulted in “second degree burns, blistering and permanent scarring.”

During the treatment, Shamea says she was in excruciating pain. According to the filing, she “cried in pain due to sensations she was experiencing.” The lawsuit further alleges that her “screams were so loud” that Harris eventually entered the room for the first time that day to see what was happening.
When Shamea told Jing Jing Wong Harris, M.D. she was in intense pain, the suit claims Harris dismissed her concerns, allegedly telling her she was “being dramatic.”
The filing also alleges that “only after seeing the tears from [Morton] crying” did Harris apply “an unknown solution from a spray bottle” to her back. Shamea further claims Harris “never consulted, examined, or approved the treatment plan” prior to the chemical peel being applied.
Shamea Morton is seeking unspecified damages. Her attorney, Darren M. Tobin, said, “What happened to Shamea when she was burned is unacceptable and inexcusable. We intend on pursuing full justice allowed under the law.”

Taylor Frankie Paul Will Not Face Charges in Alleged Dispute
Taylor Frankie Paul will not be charged in her latest alleged domestic violence dispute against ex Dakota Mortensen.
“After reviewing reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and West Jordan Police Department, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office has declined to file charges against Taylor Frankie Paul,” district attorney Sim Gill’s office said in a statement obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday, April 14.
Deadline was first to report.
News broke on Monday, March 16, that Taylor, 31, and Dakota, 33, were involved in an alleged dispute that halted production of season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. A spokesperson for Utah’s Draper City Police Department confirmed to Us at the time that there was an open “domestic assault investigation” into the matter. According to the authorities, allegations were “made in both directions,” and “contact was made with involved parties on [February] 24th and 25th.”
Three years earlier, Taylor was arrested following a separate altercation with Dakota. She pleaded guilty to aggravated assault at the time, while additional charges of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief were dismissed.
After the 2023 dispute, Dakota claimed in a Daily Mail interview that Taylor would never hurt anyone “intentionally.”
“She’s a good mom, she’s going through a lot in her life right now. Taylor’s been struggling, it’s been a hard year for her. She is racked with guilt [over] her cheating scandal that cost her her marriage,” he said, referencing her divorce from Tate Paul — with whom she shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5 — following her soft-swinging confession.

In March 2024, Taylor and Dakota welcomed their son, Ever. Later that year, she reflected on her arrest during season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
“Getting arrested, it was the worst night of my life. I ended up being charged with aggravated assault with three years of probation,” she admitted. “After the arrest, I was under so much stress. I was filmed leaving the jail and then that was immediately on the internet. It was a blessing in disguise. It helped me wake up.”
Although Taylor and Dakota gave their relationship another shot after her arrest, the on-off couple split in 2025, and she agreed to become the lead on season 22 of The Bachelorette.
“There was no other reason for me to do this other than I wanted to get outside of Utah and the toxicity that I’m in and venture off and really do something for myself,” Taylor said in her Us cover story ahead of the ABC reality dating show’s March 22 premiere.
At the time, Taylor also addressed the ongoing strain between her and Dakota.
“It was hard because I’m, obviously, a part of that — it’s not like I am pointing the finger like, ‘He is [the toxic one].’ It takes two to tango. We were just not progressing,” she said. “We like each other sometimes, and then we fight. It’s really hard to explain to people, and unless you’ve been in that situation, it is hard to understand. If I could just snap out of it, trust me, I would. It’s just a lot harder said than done.”
Despite potential skepticism about her motivations for starring on The Bachelorette, Taylor told Us “it was a choice” to embrace the opportunity and attempt to move on from Dakota.
“Ready, at the end of the day, is a decision,” she said. “So I made the decision to leave for two months and try. I reassured [the contestants] that was why I was here.”

Dawson’s Creek’s Joshua Jackson, Katie Holmes Reunite at Gala
Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes aren’t back in Capeside, but their latest reunion in New York City is giving Dawson’s Creek fans all the feels.
The actors — who played love interests Pacey Witter and Joey Potter on the beloved WB series from 1998 to 2003 — stepped out in NYC on Tuesday, April 14, to attend the gala screening for Brunello: The Gracious Visionary.
Jackson, 47, looked dapper in grey slacks while walking the red carpet outside David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center. Instead of a matching grey suit jacket, the actor wore a merlot-colored jacket over his white shirt and pulled it all together with a grey bowtie.
Holmes, 47, quickly pulled focus with her sexy and sophisticated outfit. She opted for a silver, sparkly maxi skirt and crisp white button-down shirt that fell slightly off her shoulder, revealing one strap of what appeared to be her bra. The actress topped off her look with a black clutch.
While the pair’s solo red carpet poses pulled fans in, it was the pictures they took together that had Us all — and rightfully — freaking out.
In one photo, Jackson looked lovingly at his longtime friend and scene partner Holmes as she laughed back. In a separate picture, the pair linked arms and smiled for the cameras, warming fans’ hearts.

Jackson and Holmes’ joint appearance comes nearly one year after they reunited in July 2025 to begin filming Happy Hours, an upcoming trilogy in which they once again play love interests.
“She’s a lifelong friend now,” Jackson said of Holmes during a March interview on Today. “And for us to get to go back and be able to do this again and honestly for her to create that space for us, was kind of magical.”
Holmes and Jackson’s New York outing also marks the first time they have reunited publicly since the death of their fellow Dawson’s Creek costar James Van Der Beek. Van Der Beek died on February 11 after battling colorectal cancer. He was 48.
Following his death, both Holmes and Jackson shared individual and emotional tributes to the actor, who played the titular character, Dawson Leery, on their hit ‘90s show.
“James, thank you. To share space with your imagination is sacred — breathing the same air in the land of make-believe and trusting that each other’s hearts are safe in their expression,” Holmes wrote in a handwritten letter shared via Instagram on February 12. “These are some of the memories, along with laughter, conversations about life, James Taylor songs — adventures of a unique youth …”
Holmes recalled Van Der Beek having, “Bravery. Compassion. Selflessness. Strength” as well as an “appreciation for life and the action taken to live life with the integrity that life is art.”

She noted that his “journey of a hero” also included “creating a beautiful marriage, six loving children.”
“I mourn this loss with a heart holding the reality of his absence and deep gratitude for his imprint on it,” Holmes added.
Jackson broke his silence over Van Der Beek’s death while appearing on the Today show on March 10.
“He and I shared this amazing time where that [Dawson’s Creek] clip comes from at a very young point in our life and it was formational for us, and I know both of us look back on that time with great fondness,” Jackson explained. “But I will also say that I know that I’m really just a footnote in what he actually accomplished in his life.”
The actor praised his former costar for all he accomplished, saying, “He became what we used to just call a good man, a man of the kind of belief, the kind of faith that allowed him to face the impossible with grace — an unbelievable partner and husband, just a real man who showed up for his family, and a beautiful, kind, curious, interested, dedicated father.”
He concluded, “And so while on the one hand, that’s beautiful, and I think he did lead a very good life and he was a good man, the tragedy of that for his family is enormous.”
