The Darkest And Most Groundbreaking Sci-Fi Series Of The 1980s Is Now Free To Stream

By Jonathan Klotz
| Updated

Ask someone to name the most popular action shows of the 80s, and chances are you’ll hear Miami Vice, A-Team, Knight Rider, Magnum P.I., and maybe even The Fall Guy before they remember one of the most popular shows of the decade: Airwolf. Even if you’ve never seen a single episode of the helicopter action series, you know exactly what it’s all about.

Now, thanks to The Roku Channel, you can watch the entire series and realize both how dark and groundbreaking Season 1 was and how fast the entire production fell apart.

Airwolf Is Pure 80s Awesomeness

Airwolf stars Jan-Michael Vincent as the equally amazingly named Stringfellow Hawke, a military test pilot. Through a series of double-crosses, Stringfellow finds himself in possession of the experimental stealth helicopter with every government and shadowy organization out for his head.

Season 1 features Hawke working for and against The Firm, an obviously evil organization that happens to be the lesser of many evils, in a series of missions that happen to reflect the real-world flashpoints of the Cold War. It’s dark, Hawke is forced to make decisions with no good answer, and the episodes’ focus on geopolitical drama gives it greater stakes than you’d expect from a show about a super helicopter.

The real star of Airwolf

Season 1 was, in retrospect, the high point of Airwolf, with the following two seasons devolving into hokey action more in line with Knight Rider than a Tom Clancy novel. That and Ernest Borgnine, who played Hawke’s friend and backer, Dominic Santini, was written off the show in one of the most dramatic ways possible. They killed off his character to the point where there was no doubt he wasn’t coming back.

Worst of all, after season one, the amazing aerial dogfights were noticeably shorter and less cinematic. But in the show’s defense, when that theme song kicks in, and Hawke lands the fatal missile, it’s as awesome the 20th time as it is the first time.

Airwolf Was An Overnight Hit And An Overnight Failure

Ernest Borgnine and Jan-Michael Vincent in Airwolf

As the series exploded in popularity, Jan-Michael Vincent, who was already a multiple-time Golden Globe winner, found himself, almost overnight, the highest-paid star on television. CBS knew that without him, there was no show.

Haunted by personal demons encouraged by the sudden windfall, Vincent’s alcoholism made him impossible to work with. In a rare move, the entire show was canceled and then sold off to the USA network for a complete, top-to-bottom retooling with an all-new cast.

Jan-Michael Vincent as Stringfellow Hawke

That’s why most Airwolf fans pretend the series ended when Jan-Michael Vincent left. USA didn’t even get the real helicopter in the sale, forcing the last round of episodes to rely on old footage, or, in some hilarious cases, the toy replica filling in. And yet, though the show fell apart behind the scenes, there’s no greater example of 80s action.

Airwolf combined Cold War paranoia, hokey action, a bombastic synth score, and a charismatic leading man into the perfect 80s package that could never be replicated. Other shows tried, including Street Hawk (Airwolf with a motorcycle), but they all crashed and burned. Miami Vice and The A-Team were remade for the big screen, but no one has dared bring back Stringfellow Hawke and his experimental aircraft.

Airwolf is now streaming on The Roku Channel, but be sure to eject before Season 4.

Bold and the Beautiful Early Spoilers April 27-May 1: Eric Furious Over Ivy – She Gets Brutally Roasted

Published

on

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Eric Forrester (John McCook) - Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer)

Bold and the Beautiful early weekly spoilers for the week of April 27th through May 1st excite as Eric Forrester (John McCook) finally being back on the scene with his boxers in a bunch about something. Meanwhile, Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) is called out and she gets roasted. It could be the end for her.

We’re also going to talk about Ridge Forrester‘s (Thorsten Kaye) reaction to the big news about Ivy lying, manipulating, and causing mass chaos at Forrester. Plus, Eric frustrated. Lots to discuss. Let’s get into it.

As we always do on early edition day, we’re going to talk about what happens the rest of this week, the week we’re in, and then we’re going to talk about what is happening next week on Bold and the Beautiful.

Bold and the Beautiful Wednesday, April 22nd: Will And Electra Still Hashing Things Out

So, on the Wednesday, April 22nd B&B episode, we’ve got Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) and Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace). They are still in the showroom. They are still hashing everything out. I don’t get it. I thought Will and Electra kissed and made up on the most recent episode and then this could be over with except for tying the loose ends. But no, we got way more yapping than we probably want or need.

Electra’s yapping to Will about Dylan crossing the line. And Will says he knows. And Electra has every right to be upset about that. But Will also reminds her that Ivy misrepresented things and overblew when she told Electra what she saw with Will and Dylan. And Will says Ivy made it sound like he was coming on to Dylan. And Will insists that he wasn’t. And of course she’s like, “Oh, you kissed Dylan.” And he’s like, “Yeah, well, you know, you kissed RJ Forrester.” (Brayan Nicoletti) So to me, they need to call that even, but I don’t think Electra is capable of being that reasonable.

B&B Spoilers: Will & Electra Talk it Out

So, right now, because of Ivy, they’re talking about how much time they lost. And Electra is going on about how they can’t get that time back. Girl, you’re wasting time now. That’s more time you’re losing, right? So, Will tells Electra that being away from her was the hardest thing in the world because Will just wanted to hold her and be near her, and because he couldn’t, it was torture.

And Electra says it was for her, too. And then she’s on about why she wrote the letter because she wanted to fix things and move forward. I would just love if this whole conversation honestly wasn’t happening because they already had it like twice now.

So, Electra’s upset at how long Dylan was staying with Will, but she was willing to forgive him. Sounds like past tense. And Electra thought that Will would go to her after reading the letter so they could fix things. And of course, Will has to remind her, “I never got the letter.”

And he does remind her that he did what she asked. Told Dylan to move out. She’s gone. And Will also again brings back up the I came back to Forrester to tell you she was gone and there you are with RJ, his lips on yours. And Electra will not own what she did because she’s bringing up Dylan again.

Will And Electra Confront Ivy on Bold and the Beautiful

But despite all of this, it looks like Will and Electra are a united front soon because later this week, Electra and Will are in the Forrester Creations CEO office and they are both facing off with Ivy. And boy are Will and Electra laying into her. And we’ve got Will looking furious. He’s pointing his finger angrily in Ivy’s face. She looks stunned. Deer in the headlights.

We’re also going to have Ridge and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) in the room. They’re finding out what Ivy did. And once Will and Electra tell Ridge and Brooke exactly how Ivy lied, denied, caused all these problems, not just for the two of them, but got RJ all stirred up with things that weren’t going to happen, and basically Ivy was just triggering chaos all over the office.

So, I think there might be hell to pay because Brooke’s jaw is absolutely dropped, and Ridge looks furious. Will’s angry and Electra looks like she’s about to cry. I do wonder if Ridge is going to bring up in front of Will and Electra that Ivy was just pressuring Ridge to fire Will. And it was all over Ivy’s lies and manipulations.

If there is any justice in this world, Ridge will fire Ivy and Electra will cut her out of her life, bounce her back down under. After this whole shenanigan, Brooke is leaning on Ridge and they both look very disappointed. I do wonder if they’re going to give RJ a talking to or act like he was another of Ivy’s victims instead of just being a royal jerk.

Eric Forrester Finally Returns to B&B

Later in the week, we have finally got Eric Forrester back on Bold and the Beautiful. It’s been a minute. So, he’s up in the CEO office. He’s with Brooke and Ridge. None of them looks terribly happy. And I’m sure they’re discussing Katie Logan and Bill Spencer‘s (Don Diamont) fashion show, which should be kicking off at the end of this week and carrying into next week.

Now, as far as Brooke and Ridge are concerned, Katie and Bill stole Eric’s designs, and we’re preying on him. Brooke and Ridge are kind of stealing Eric’s agency, acting like he wasn’t an adult, free to transact with Katie and with Logan. And he wasn’t even really transacting. He was telling Katie, “I’m your new designer.” Right? So, that was all something that he would never have done if Ridge didn’t forcibly retire Eric.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie’s Big Day

I would expect Brooke to make one more drive by over to Logan to try and stop Katie from using the designs in her fashion show, but it’s way too late. Katie and Bill are arm-in-arm and all smiles as the Logan models take to the runway in dresses that Eric designed. And then Katie is also on the Logan runway.

Looks like she’s glaring at somebody. So, there could be gate crashers at the big debut. I wouldn’t be surprised if Brooke and Ridge make a scene. I expect the Logan fashion show drama to pick up momentum when sweeps kicks off on Thursday, April 23rd.

Dylan Gets A Scary Phone Call

Also this week, we have Dylan getting a scary phone call from somebody using a voice modulator to disguise it. And this mystery person tells Dylan they have unfinished business. And she looks really shaken up. So, this could be somebody from Miss Dylan’s past that we don’t know about or somebody currently on the character canvas looking to make trouble. Some people are wondering if Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) has finally clawed her way out of the grave.

Week of April 27th-May 1st: First Full Week of May Sweeps on Bold

Then the following week, April 27th through May 1st, it is the first full week of May sweeps. We’re going to have more Logan fashion show drama because I’m sure Brooke wants to humiliate Katie. And I’m betting that Bill is expecting trouble and may be ready to push back hard. Dylan is reeling from the mysterious and creepy phone calls she got. I do wonder if she’s going to run to Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) and tell him about it since they’re so close now.

Hopefully, we’re also going to see Ivy doing her walk of shame out of Forrester Creations after everyone finds out what an awful little liar that she is. Curious to see if RJ can see for himself that Ivy was manipulating the whole Electra and Will situation or if RJ is still going to somehow try and blame Will for all of this. And I really hope that Ridge gives a solid talking to RJ about his garbage attitude and his high-handed demands, telling his dad what people he needs to fire. I mean, imagine if another new employee was doing that.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Remy’s Big Secret Revealed Soon

Also, we should see more of Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) as sweeps heats up and we find out who he’s connected to on the Bold and the Beautiful character canvas. It’s somebody who’s supposed to be a schemer like him. That brings a couple of names to mind.

We should also see more of Deacon and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) enjoying their happily ever after while Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) lurks and stalks and schemes. There are life-changing things happening next week on Bold and the Beautiful. You don’t want to miss a minute of the drama.

A bird and a squirrel smiling in Swapped

Feature-length animation has been in an exciting and high-quality moment in the modern era, with the wide array of sequels to classic animated franchises, as well as engaging original films that are moving the medium forward. However, the great state of the industry is not only thanks to the successful animated films of the past few years, but also to the array of exciting projects about to be released.

Whether it be the latest releases from tried-and-true classic studios or new faces leaving their mark on the medium, many exceptional animated films are set to come out over the next few years, becoming must-watch experiences for any and all fans. These aren’t the only animated films of note set to premiere soon, but these are some of the most striking and effective releases that audiences need to keep an eye on.

‘Swapped’ – Release Date: May 1st, 2026

A bird and a squirrel smiling in Swapped Image via Netflix

With the vocal talents of Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple, as well as bringing together a lot of ex-Disney talent, Swapped is setting itself up to be Netflix’s defining animated offering of 2026. The film sees Jordan and Temple as a woodland creature and a majestic bird, who suddenly go from being mortal enemies to unlikely allies as their bodies are suddenly swapped. The duo soon ends up getting a greater understanding of the others’ perspectives as they fight to survive the deadly wilderness.

While the animated offerings of Skydance Animation haven’t exactly blown away audiences yet, Swapped seems to have the exact levels of charm and earnestness required to make for a really impactful animated hit. It’s definitely setting itself up to recapture that sense of Disney magic in a new and engaging way, and especially after his Academy Award win, you simply can’t underestimate the star power and influential pull of Michael B. Jordan.

‘Minions & Monsters’ – Release Date: July 1st, 2026

Illumination has been one of the most consistent studios for massive blockbuster success in the world of animation, having just had massive box-office success with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Minions & Monsters hopes to follow up on the already lucrative and widely beloved franchise with yet another goofy installment of animated hijinks and mischief. The film sees the Minions getting into all sorts of rambunctious adventures in Hollywood, as well as going on a quest to find some real underworld monsters to use for their movie.

While the series has been perceived as relatively simplistic and basic by some critics, there is a clear passion and love for it, most prominently seen by the previous Minions film, which spawned the massive “gentle minions” trend. While it’s still early to determine whether this film will have a similar trend, it’s certain to deliver the same signature Minions style of humor, potentially becoming a box-office juggernaut in the process.

‘Shrek 5’ – Release Date: June 30th, 2027

Fiona, Donkey, Shrek, and Felicia looking confused in Shrek 5 Image via Universal Pictures

While Shrek was once a titan of an animation franchise during the 2000s, the franchise has been in a large dry spell as DreamWorks prioritized some of its other IPs and original films. However, following the massive success of the spinoff film Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, now is the perfect time for the long-awaited fifth film to strike, with Shrek 5 poised to be yet another box-office smash for the franchise.

However, even more than simply being a new entry in the franchise, the potential for this animated satire feels rife with creative brilliance. The original films were all-time icons of animated comedy movies, being some of the first films that come to mind when considering this specific subgenre. Also to keep in mind is just how much the prospects and culture surrounding Shrek have changed since the last entry, with it feeling all but inevitable for this modern film to comment on that in some way.

‘The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender’ – Release Date: October 9th, 2026

Even over a decade and a half since its conclusion, Avatar: The Last Airbender remains one of the most celebrated and exceptionally crafted animated series of all time. As such, the prospect of a cinematic continuation of the franchise following the beloved characters into adulthood has all sorts of expectations and hype in following up on a legend of 21st-century animation. The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender hopes to recapture the true magic of the franchise with the same creative forces as that original series.

The film will follow Aang and his friends embarking on a global quest to find an ancient power that has the potential to save his culture from extinction. So many people have wanted to see a continuation of these characters for so long now, as it will certainly be praised and loved by fans if it even comes close to recreating the magic of the original series.

‘Hexed’ – Release Date: November 25th, 2026

Walt Disney Animation Studios has certainly had more success with their franchise sequels than original films in recent years, yet Hexed seems to be oozing with that sense of charm and likability that makes an original Disney film flourish. Set for the classic Thanksgiving week release, the film will follow an awkward teen discovering that his distinct quirks are actually magical powers, transforming the lives of himself and his mother as they uncover a mysterious magical realm.

Many details are still shrouded in mystery, aside from its distinct mother-son theming and an overwhelming focus on all things magic. It almost feels like a Disney spin on Harry Potter, and considering the fact that the studio hasn’t had an original animated film since the lackluster Wish in 2023, this feels like the perfect opportunity to remind audiences that Disney are titans of original animated storytelling.

Few animated films of recent memory have been as overwhelmingly praised and influential as the Spider-Verse saga, with many fans waiting with bated breath over the climactic conclusion to the trilogy, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. The fact that so little has been shown about the film has been stinging fans for years now, considering not only the fact that Across the Spider-Verse ended on a cliffhanger, but the original release date of the film was 2 full years ago in March 2024.

It’s certain to feature the same strikingly beautiful and electrifying animation that made the previous two films such fan-favorites, with the prospects of Miles now being on the run from the Spider Society and facing off against an alternate-universe Prowler version of himself instantly hooking audiences. The film is one of the safest bets as far as brilliant animated films are concerned, as fans are begging that the film not get delayed again.

‘Forgotten Island’ – Release Date: September 25th, 2026

Two girls on the hood of a truck in forgotten-island Image via Universal Pictures

The next film from DreamWorks Animation will be Forgotten Island. This original story brings together Joel Crawford, director of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, and first-time director Januel Mercado to create a striking, colorful story of friendship, adventure, and memories. The film follows a duo of long-time best friends who find themselves stranded on a fantastical but dangerous island, searching for a way home but possibly having to sacrifice their lifetime of memories together.

From the trailer alone, it’s easy to see that Forgotten Island has the same sense of striking, exceptional animation that made The Last Wish such a surprise fan-favorite. Combining this animation style with some entertaining original characters and a vast island of creative potential of its premise seems to be a recipe for some genuinely great animation that perfectly exemplifies the strengths of modern DreamWorks. It certainly has the potential to be a perfect DreamWorks movie if it can effectively recreate the charm of The Last Wish.

‘Ally’ – Release Date: 2027

A blue squid creature in Bong Joon Ho's 'Ally'

Ally acts as a massive rarity within the animation industry, seeing the absolutely legendary South Korean filmmaker Bong Joon Ho making the jump to animation. Considering just how creative and brilliantly original his filmmaking has been in the likes of Parasite, Memories of Murder, and Mickey 17, the concept of Bong creating an animated film is as shocking as it is exciting. The film is still a far way out, but its very existence and production is cause for excitement, especially after the first look release of the main character’s baby blue design.

Ally follows a lovable squid dreaming of becoming the star of a wildlife documentary, but those plans of stardom come to a sudden halt when an aircraft sinks into the ocean, threatening the safety of the peaceful maritime world. From the premise alone, it’s easy to see how Bong can utilize his signature themes of class and capitalistic greed throughout this story, while simultaneously imbuing it with the charm and lovability that animation can provide.

‘Toy Story 5’ – Release Date: June 19th, 2026

Buzz and Woody looking scared in Toy Story 5 Image via Pixar Animation Studios

No singular franchise of computer-animated films has been as simultaneously influential and critically praised as the Toy Story films. The prospect of additional sequels following the legendary ending of Toy Story 3 still feels weird, but it doesn’t take away any of the must-watch qualities of Toy Story 5. The film sees the toys having to deal with the difficulties of technology, with Bonnie receiving a tablet that has put their jobs out of commission.

While some are wary about such a direct anti-technology message, if any franchise is going to tackle this topic with grace and care, it’s going to be Toy Story. The animation feels as breathtaking as always, as there is a simple charm and coziness to seeing these beloved characters back on the big screen. It’s up in the air whether the film will live up to the other Toy Story films, but either way, it’s still absolutely the must-watch animated blockbuster of the year.

LAIKA has made a name for itself by creating some of the most beautifully crafted stop-motion animated films of the modern era, with layered storytelling that appeals to children and adults alike. However, the studio hasn’t released a film since 2019’s Missing Link, with their upcoming Wildwood finally looking like a return to form for the legendary animation studio. The film is setting itself up to be the studio’s most ambitious film to date, a sprawling adventure with massive stakes that pushes stop-motion to its absolute limits.

The film follows a girl’s desperate quest to save her baby brother as they travel through a forbidden forest filled with magical creatures, lovable allies, and dangerous enemies. Her quest will have massive ramifications as this entire magical realm threatens to fall out of balance if she fails. Large chunks of the film are still shrouded in mystery, but LAIKA has such an exceptional track record that it’s impossible to imagine Wildwood being anything less than a work of art.

Dorit Kemsley Defends Spending Amid Financial Woes

Published

on

Dorit Kemsley at the 49th Annual People's Choice Awards 2024

Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has ended, with the exception of the three-part reunion. Now, in a newly released clip, Dorit Kemsley can be seen defending her lavish spending habits to Kyle Richards, as seen on the show, when she purchased a $4,000 purse. This comes after reports that her California mansion is currently in pre-foreclosure.

Part one of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 15 reunion airs on Bravo on April 23. Now, an extended look at the episode shows Kemsley defending herself to Richards. She said in the clip, “I spent $4,000 in one of Rachel’s friends’ shops that they cleared for us to shop. Nobody bought anything but me. I didn’t want us to go into that shop and not buy anything.”

After that, Kemsley told her “RHOBH” co-star that she can afford to spend that amount and that she’s “very lucky to.” The mom of two continued, “Being judged by you, having you go and speak to the group about, ‘Oh, it’s a lot of money she’s spending.’ Kyle, especially, from you of all people.”

Richards and Kemsley continued their confrontation, with the former of the two saying, “By the way, I’m not in the same financial position as you, I’m sorry.” After that, Kemsley wondered how Richards would know about her “financial position,” before Erika Jayne chimmed in, “Well, the house is being foreclosed on.”

Towards the end of the clip, Kemsley stated that she hopes things remain amicable between Richards and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. This came after she asked if Richards had knowledge of her finances due to their exes being friends.

She then issued a warning, saying, “I hope to God nothing turns, but if and when it does, and you’re dealing with what I have had to deal with, maybe you’ll find it difficult to sit in rooms in conversations when you’re busting at the seams, and you wanna actually be talking to your girlfriends only to have people judging you.”

Kemsley and her problems with Richards were one of the main storylines of “RHOBH” season 15. Because of this, fans are weighing in on their confrontation at the reunion, with opinions divided on their fallout.

One person said on X, “All of this is true, but both of them are pretty well off and probably can afford to spend thousands of dollars at a time. So I’m not sure what point Kyle was trying to make. With Kyle, I never know what’s real and what’s performative.”

Someone else defended Kemsley, saying, “Dorit is just venting about how hard she has been talked about while trying to have fun, and her expectations of Kyle NOT showing up but Kyle talking about Dorit’s issues behind her back is what Dorit is most upset about.”

A different fan called out Richards, stating, “Kyle has gotten uglier; her behavior is a sad reflection of her character now.” Lastly, a different X user said, “Erika is making snide comments about foreclosure when she can barely afford her glam team.”

Dorit’s Home Is Reportedly In Pre-Foreclosure

RadarOnline reported in March 2026 that Kemsley’s home was in pre-foreclosure. This followed two lenders filing default notices in January. One company, Tanka LLC, is said to have loaned Kemsley and her estranged husband $600k, while the other, Private Money Solutions, reportedly gave them access to $150,000.

The legal filing claims that no payment has been made since September 2025. If not settled, the home could enter into non-judicial foreclosure, meaning the lenders could foreclose at any time.

It’s also important to note that another lender, Prime Recon LLC, filed a default notice in December 2025. They are allegedly owed $5,196,750 for the overall mortgage and $294,321 in repayments and various penalties. The company claims it was not paid between April and December 2025.

Kemsley appeared on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” in March 2026. While on, Andy Cohen asked the “RHOBH” star about the reports concerning her home. In response, she stated that her estranged husband,Paul “PK” Kemsley, was supposed to be responsible for the mortgage payments.

According to her, “Well, that is something that I learned a few weeks before everyone else learned. As we discussed at the reunion, it was something PK was in charge of. I didn’t know it was not being paid.”

Kemsley added, “We’ve since spoken, and he agreed to bring it up to date. And then we’re gonna put the house on the market, and then the kids and I will find a new home.”

Published

Victoria Beckham is embracing her fifties fabulously, as the fashion designer and Spice Girls member recently shared her thoughts on turning 52.

During a recent interview, Beckham expressed a positive outlook about growing older and noted that aging means she is fully in control of her opinions.

While appearing on “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle” on Tuesday, April 21, Victoria Beckham offered a candid response when asked how she feels about aging, as the mother of four celebrated her 52nd birthday on April 17.

“I feel like I’m in a really good place,” Beckham admitted. “I think the great thing about getting older, you genuinely care less about what people think.

“You accept who you are, you embrace who you are,” she continued. “You make the best of what you’ve got. You look in the mirror, and you go, ‘OK,’ you look at what’s OK versus focusing on what you don’t like.”

On Instagram, the soccer legend posted a collection of sentimental photos of himself and his wife, along with a heartfelt message.

“Happy Birthday to the one & only Posh Spice,” David Beckham’s caption began. “We love you so much, and we will make sure you have the most special day because as the best Wife, Mum, friend & of course, gym partner, you deserve to. Happy Birthday, We Love You.”

Victoria Beckham, clearly touched by the gesture, responded to the post in the comments, writing, “I love you so much.”

He wasn’t done, as David also took to his Instagram Stories to share another birthday message for his long-time wife.

“To my working-class wife, happy birthday. We love you. Be honest,” which is a humorous nod to their viral interaction in David’s Netflix documentary, where they discussed Victoria’s wealthy family background.

“We’ve grown together. And that’s where I feel so blessed. We really have grown together,” she added. “We support each other. We’ve both got big dreams. We’re both very, very ambitious, and we support each other. I want him to be the best version of himself, and that’s what he wants for me.”

Victoria and David, along with their children Cruz, Romeo, and Harper, have remained a united front publicly and privately following Brooklyn Beckham’s distance from them.

In the bombshell posts he made earlier this year, calling out his family’s behavior, Brooklyn ended his messages by making it abundantly clear that he has no current interest in repairing his fractured relationship with his family.

“I have been silent for years and have made every attempt to keep these matters private,” Brooklyn wrote in multiple messages posted to his Instagram Stories.

“Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” he continued.

Brooklyn made his stance clear with his family moving forward. “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

He also hurled accusations that his mom, Victoria, “hijacked” the first dance at his wedding by dancing “inappropriately” and making him feel “uncomfortable” and “humiliated.”

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on April 16, Victoria Beckham addressed the deep family rift but stopped short of mentioning son Brooklyn by name.

“All we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it,” she stated.

Brooklyn initially took his feud with his family public due to long-simmering issues involving his wife and her relationship with his parents.

Bob Odenkirk has opened up about the frightening aftermath of his 2021 heart attack, revealing that the event completely wiped his memory for an entire week.

The actor earlier explained that he had this experience where he saw his life flash before his eyes, saying he felt a “lingering joy” when he regained consciousness.

However, the experience changed Bob Odenkirk’s perspective as he realized death is an inevitable clause of life.

Bob Odenkirk appeared on the “Inside of You” podcast with Michael Rosenbaum, where he shared details about the 2021 heart attack he suffered while on the set of “Better Call Saul.”

According to Fox News Digital, the 63-year-old actor said that the experience left him with no memory for almost a week, adding that it was his daughter who helped him get his cognitive abilities back.

Speaking about the issue to Rosenbaum, Odenkirk recalled how the experience was even more “dangerous” because he was far away from the set on adherence to COVID-19 protocols and “all the people who would hear someone screaming were across the floor of a giant studio.”

Things were seemingly compounded by the fact that everyone thought his castmates Rhea Seehorn and Patrick Fabian were laughing.

He recalled walking to an exercise bike and started feeling uneasy, telling Seahorn he wasn’t feeling good before everything “turned gray and worse things happened.”

Odenkirk was immediately taken to the hospital and underwent surgery the next day, with his family joining him all through. However, he explained that he had no memory of anything until a week after his daughter stepped in.

“My daughter made this dry-erase board that said what happened to me so that I would wake up and see this dry-erase board that: heart, you know, attack, and then to the hospital, and who’s visited me and who’s in town and what day it is because I never had a memory that whole week,” he shared.

Uncertain about what had happened and seemingly confused about his location, he noted he was always asking, “Where are we? Why are you guys at the hospital?”

The “Breaking Bad” actor said there’s a funny video of him and his wife Naomi took where his kids asked him after his surgery if he knew why he was there.

“And I’m like ‘Cause I heard you guys are here,’” he revealed. “It’s really funny. It’s really, it’s crazy what your brain does. ‘How did you get here?’ ‘I drove here.’”

“You know, like your brain makes up a story about what is going on that suits you,” Odenkirk added about his experience.

The event seemingly left a life-changing impression on him as he got to see things from a new perspective.

He admitted that it made him get a new sense of appreciation for the “wonderful things” he has in his world and seemingly helped him with the whole awareness of limited time.”

Odenkirk said it became hard to counteract the feeling of “I’m going to live forever. What movies do I want to make in 30 years?”

“‘Hey man,’” he said he tells himself, “‘you are not making any movies in 30 years. You’re not making them in 10 years. You’re going to be cooked and done. And so, what do you want to do? And how much time do you have left? And how are you going to use it?’”

The “Normal” actor added that it’s hard to look into the mirror and ask himself, “‘I’m 63, you know, my dad lived to 56, you know, I mean, what are you doing with your time? How are you going to use it? How are you going to do the most with it?’”

Recounting the experience and how Scary it was in a previous interview with Rachel Martin on her “Wild Card” podcast, Odenkirk explained that he didn’t get any out-of-the-world experience like seeing a white flash of light or his life flash before his eyes, or a slideshow of one’s regrets, adding that there was “very little trauma” for him.

However, what he did experience was some sort of “lingering joy” that slowly started slipping away days after he regained consciousness, but then he had to fight and make a mental note of it.

“I have to try to live this way,” he recalled of how he felt. “I have to try to be this – see the world this way. But it – this feeling of the world being pretty magical and beautiful and astounding, a marvel to look at.”

“And I remember thinking, this is the best, and this is how you should feel. This is what life is. This is life. It’s weird. It’s like being – it’s like having that revelation people talk about when they do various psychedelic drugs, but being – but not being on drugs,” he added.

Goodbye? Kimora Lee Simmons’ Husband Tim Leissner Files For Divorce Amid Serving Prison Sentence (VIDEO)

Whew, roommates… sometimes life be life-ing behind the scenes, and what looks picture-perfect on the outside can be telling a whole different story. Kimora Lee Simmons and Tim Leissner have been tied together for years, but it looks like a quiet shift has been happening, leading to divorce documents!

Kimora & Tim Call It Quits Amid Drama

According to E! Online, Kimora Lee Simmons and her husband Tim Leissner are officially heading for a legal split. Leissner reportedly signed paperwork to initiate their divorce just two days before beginning a two-year prison sentence back in February. He finally filed the documents on April 20, citing “irreconcilable differences” after 12 years of marriage, per PEOPLE. The former Goldman Sachs banker—who pleaded guilty in 2018 to stealing millions from the Malaysian government—married Kimora in March 2014.

Custody, Coins, And Silence

In the filing, Leissner is requesting joint custody of their 11-year-old son, Wolfe, along with spousal support from the Baby Phat founder. He also reportedly asked the court to terminate Kimora’s ability to receive alimony. His attorney confirmed he turned himself in to a federal correctional facility in Pennsylvania on February 6, and records show authorities have scheduled his release for September 2027. Meanwhile, Kimora has yet to publicly respond to the divorce filing, though she previously hinted at changes in her personal life during a December interview, noting that she’s gone through shifts in “jobs, careers… husbands, investments,” adding, “It’s life.

TBD Split Date, Assets & Fees In Play

More details are continuing to surface, roommates. In his filing, Tim Leissner reportedly listed the couple’s date of separation as “TBD,” despite signing the documents on February 4—just before turning himself in. Beyond custody and support, he’s also asking Kimora Lee Simmons to cover his attorney fees and is making moves to hold on to certain assets, including anything acquired before their marriage, as well as gifts, inheritances, and personal items like jewelry.

The paperwork also indicates that additional assets and obligations remain unidentified. Meanwhile, Leissner—sentenced in May 2025 for his role in the 1MDB scandal—previously issued a public apology, expressing regret for his actions as he serves out his sentence, with a projected release date of September 29, 2027.

SVU’ Officially Unveils New Episode Sneak Peek After Season 28 Renewal [Exclusive]

Published

on

0368472_poster_w780.jpg

Last week, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit had cause to celebrate, being renewed for a landmark 28th season on NBC. It’s another vote of confidence in a series that has managed to surpass its own parent series, becoming a staple on the network still capable of drawing in fans to this day, despite a cast that has massively evolved since its inception in 1999. Now, though, it’s time for the members of the NYPD’s 16th precinct to get back in the ring — literally. Collider can exclusively share a new sneak peek at Season 27, Episode 18, “Gimmick,” which sends detectives Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Griffin (Corey Cott) into the world of professional fighting.

In the footage, the two officers take in a violent match involving their target, an amateur fighter who goes by the name of “Razor.” At first, Griffin appears to be getting into it, but the sheer brutality and sickening thuds of every blow wipe the smile off his face. After Razor wins his fight, Rollins and Griffin head back to speak with him about a victim found dead in a hotel. When initially asked about Ian Larkin, he blows their questioning off by calling him a “crackhead who can’t be trusted,” though he quickly becomes defensive when the detectives reveal they know he threatened him, and then completely silent when told of Ian’s fate. He is not pleased when Griffin insinuates that the cuts on his hand came from a different kind of fight than what he does in the ring, though, and after some pushing over why he wanted Ian to keep quiet, he explodes. Rollins is able to get Razor in cuffs, and given his outburst, he hasn’t exactly made the best case for his innocence.

Whether Razor is their man or not, the fact that he had some secret he desperately wanted to keep under wraps means he’ll have an important role to play in the precinct’s latest case. The whole team will be involved throughout the operation to catch whoever is responsible and ultimately bring them to justice. Separate from Rollins and Griffin’s work, though, Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) will be trying to convince another victim to come forward for the sake of his friend. Coming off a brief hiatus last week, it’s certainly shaping up to be a packed return for the long-running spin-off.

Tulsa King

⚖️
Mayor of Kingstown

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.

You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

You are a Dwight Manfredi — someone who has served their time, paid their dues, and arrived somewhere unexpected with nothing but their reputation and their wits. You adapt without losing yourself. You build loyalty through respect rather than fear, though you’re not above reminding people that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Tulsa King is for people who are still standing when everyone assumed they’d be finished — who find, in an unfamiliar place, that they’re more capable than the world gave them credit for. You don’t need a throne. You build one, wherever you happen to land.

You carry the weight of a system that is broken by design, and you do it anyway — because someone has to, and because you’re the only one positioned to do it without the whole thing collapsing. Mike McLusky’s world is for people who are comfortable operating where there are no good options, only less catastrophic ones. You speak every language: law enforcement, criminal, political, human. That fluency makes you invaluable and it makes you a target. You’ve made your peace with both. Mayor of Kingstown belongs to people who understand that keeping the peace is not the same as being at peace — and who do the job regardless.

The ‘Law & Order’ Franchise Has Experienced Highs and Lows of Late

SVU‘s renewal assures that the Law & Order brand will continue to be a part of NBC’s plans in the near future, with Ice-T, Peter Scanavino, Kevin Kane, and Aimé Donna Kelly all still starring with Hargitay, Cott, and Giddish. It’s now set to reach the 600-episode mark with Season 28, firmly within striking distance of Gunsmoke‘s long-held primetime drama record of 635. The news hasn’t been all positive for fans of the Dun Dun franchise, though. Alongside the news of SVU‘s continuation came word that Christopher Meloni‘s spin-off, Law & Order: Organized Crime, would be ending after five seasons. The mothership series also remains on the bubble after 25 seasons. Major changes could be coming to Dick Wolf‘s universe, but, at the very least, Benson’s team isn’t going anywhere.

Law & Order: SVU Season 27, Episode 18 premieres tomorrow, April 23, on NBC. Check out our exclusive sneak peek in the player above.

Forget 'The Odyssey,' One the Best Adaptations of Homer's Fantasy Epic Is Officially Getting a Movie

This summer is lining up to be a huge year for movies, and while there are plenty of projects with big stars and directors behind them, perhaps no film has as much anticipation behind it as The Odyssey. The Odyssey, which will be released in theaters on July 17, is set to be an epic retelling of Homer’s classic tale, with all the support of a big blockbuster studio film behind it. Not only has Universal Pictures assembled one of the most impressive casts in Hollywood history to star in The Odyssey, but the film was written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Nolan is fresh off the most successful movie of his career with Oppenheimer, which grossed nearly $1 billion at the box office before collecting a mountain of hardware at the 2024 Academy Awards.

While Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey is set to wow audiences around the world this summer, it isn’t the only version of the story that’s getting the feature film treatment. News broke this afternoon that legendary film producer Jerry Bruckheimer is adapting Epic, the viral musical retelling of The Odyssey that’s exploded on social media recently. Bruckheimer’s Epic movie is going to be animated, and while no cast members or creatives have been announced, the film is reportedly going to be shopped around to studios as soon as next week. Wherever Epic lands, with its massive audience, it has all the potential to be a massive hit with Bruckheimer involved. Bruckheimer has been behind other successful epics like Top Gun: Maverick, F1, and Pirates of the Caribbean, and he’s widely considered one of the most famous movie producers of all time.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

Who Stars in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’?

The primary lead in The Odyssey is Matt Damon, who has been tasked with playing the titular Odysseus. Damon previously starred in a supporting role for Nolan in Oppenheimer, but now he’s going to get his chance in the spotlight. Surrounding Damon in The Odyssey cast are a plethora of stars, including Tom Holland as Telemachus, Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Zendaya as Athena, Charlize Theron as Calypso, Jon Bernthal as Menelaus, Benny Safdie as Agamemnon, Mia Goth as Melantho, and John Leguizamo as Eumaeus. Also cast in The Odyssey in undisclosed roles as Lupita Nyong’o, Logan Marshall-Green, Elliot Page, Ryan Hurst, James Remar, Samantha Morton, and Josh Stewart.
