Sam Levinson Reveals Inspiration for Shocking Euphoria Death
Euphoria creator Sam Levinson revealed how he was inspired to write the death scene for the most recent episode of the drama series.
Spoilers below for Euphoria season 3 episode 7.
In the Sunday, May 24, penultimate episode, Euphoria fans watched Jacob Elordi’s character, Nate Jacobs, suffer a horrific death. During the episode, Nate’s debt came back to bite him — literally — as he was locked underground in a coffin for 72 hours.
His wife, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), was forced to pay the loan sharks in an attempt to save Nate. Cassie and Maddy (Alexa Demie) were able to dig up Nate, only to see he was killed by several rattlesnake bites.
Levinson, 41, shared that the idea to bury Nate alive was an homage to one of his favorite films.
“I always loved the movie The Candy Snatchers where the girl gets buried alive with a pipe as an air hole. So I had imagined that Nate would get buried alive,” the creator said in an interview with Esquire published on Monday, May 25.
Not only was Nate buried alive, but there were snakes involved and that idea came to Levinson while enjoying a sunny day in Los Angeles.
“It was one of those gorgeous L.A. days where it was perfect weather. We’re listening to Otis Redding. The windows are down and we’re driving to Warner Brothers and I’m looking out the window,” he reflected. “I just had this image of a rattlesnake coming towards this pipe. He’s banging and the snake can sense the movement in the ground. And I thought, ‘What if the snake goes into the pipe and then he’s stuck inside the coffin with this rattlesnake?’”
!['Euphoria' Creator Sam Levinson Reveals Inspiration Behind [Spoiler's] Horrific Death](https://www.usmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/TCDEUPH_HO181.jpg?w=1000&quality=86&strip=all)
Levinson also revealed that they used “all real rattlesnakes” while filming and they got a serious warning from the animal wranglers before filming.
“When we were shooting with the rattlesnakes out in Lancaster, [California], they said, ‘If you get bitten by a rattlesnake, you have about an hour before you die. And unfortunately, the nearest hospital’s an hour and a half away. ‘So … don’t get bitten by our rattlesnake,’” Levison recalled.
While writing the scene, Levinson knew fans wanted to see Nate get his “comeuppance” in the final season — and he was happy to oblige.
“There’s this kind of funny thing where I know what the audience wants in terms of justice or karma,” he reflected. “And with that in mind, I always think, ‘Well, how can I give it to them?’ How can I give them what they want, but make it so horrific and anxiety-inducing that by the time it happens, the audience isn’t so sure they wanted it?”
Levinson added that by making Nate’s death so horrific, he hoped that viewers would question if the character truly deserved the outcome.
“That feeling of complicity with the audience is always an interesting note to play inside of this sort of larger structure,” he explained. “You end up going, ‘Oh God, I don’t know. Should he have had it better? Did he deserve it?’ Those kinds of questions are always exciting to pose to the audience.”
Elordi, for his part, agreed with fans that his character got what he deserved.
“That was a cool way to go. Nate was someone who has made so many mistakes and made so many dark choices,” the actor said in a segment that aired after the episode. “It’s cool to see it all come to what it’s come to.”

Pussycat Dolls Perform With Busta Rhymes at AMAs 2026
The Pussycat Dolls took the 2026 American Music Awards stage alongside iconic rapper Busta Rhymes after canceling the U.S. leg of their comeback tour.
Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt performed with Rhymes, 54, for a rendition of their 2005 hit “Don’t Cha” during the Monday, May 25, awards show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The Y2K girl group also performed their hit songs “Buttons,” “When I Grow Up” and “Club Song” in a medley during the the awards show.
Scherzinger, 47, Roberts, 44, and Wyatt, 44, returned to the stage nearly 20 years after the Pussycat Dolls’ AMAs September 2006 performance debut, when they sang their hit “Buttons.”
Scherzinger, Roberts and Wyatt announced their reunion as a trio in March, revealing their plans to embark on the 53-date PCD Forever Tour in North America, Europe and the U.K. from June to October. The group also released a new track titled “Club Song.” Notably missing from the Pussycat Dolls revival lineup were past members Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton.
Earlier this month, the Pussycat Dolls canceled multiple dates of the PCD Forever Tour.

“When we announced the PCD Forever Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world,” the group wrote via Instagram on May 4. “After taking an honest look at the North American run, we’ve made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates.”
Us Weekly confirmed at the time that the Pussycat Dolls will still perform at the OUTLOUD Music Festival at WeHo Pride on June 6.
“The LGBTQ+ community has shown us so much love and support throughout our career, and we’re honored to be part of a weekend rooted in joy, pride, music and chosen family,” they continued. “Our U.K. and European dates are still moving forward as planned, and the response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out.”
After the news broke, Us exclusively revealed Scherzinger’s reaction to the canceled concerts.
“Nicole is disappointed,” a source exclusively told Us earlier this month. “She was really excited to get back out there with Ashley and Kimberly to celebrate a new era, but now she feels they didn’t get a chance to showcase what they can do.”
According to the insider, the group was “too ambitious” while planning their first venture since 2009’s Doll Domination Tour.
“They went from not touring for over 15 years to booking big arenas like Madison Square Garden with only one new song to back it,” the source noted. “They overestimated the demand.”
For Scherzinger, the cancellation of select dates on the PCD Forever Tour is not the first time she’s been let down during her career.
“Nicole is trying to look on the bright side because the Dolls are still proceeding with their European dates, which she’s beyond excited about, but it’s hard not to feel defeated,” the insider told Us. “She’s been through this before. Her solo album Her Name Is Nicole was shelved [in 2007], the Dolls also had to cancel their last reunion tour [in 2020] and she has a ton of other music that she never got to put out. It’s been a tough road for Nicole despite her other successes but she’s grateful for the continuous love from across the pond.”
The source added, “Nicole is hopeful the Dolls can figure out something else in the U.S. after people see the show they’re putting together for Europe, which is going to be very special.”

Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Have Courtside Date
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner cheered on the New York Knicks’ historic victory from courtside at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.
The couple both wore blue-and-orange Knicks T-shirts as they watched the team punch their tickets to the NBA Finals for the first time in 27 years with a 130-90 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Knicks wiped out the Cavs with four straight wins in the Eastern Conference Finals and will now face either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.
The NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals games had some seriously star-studded crowds this month, as Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, were in attendance at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, May 23, to cheer on the Cavs.
Chalamet, 30, and Jenner, 28, have made several appearances courtside at Knicks games this season because the Dune actor is a lifelong fan of the NBA franchise.

“One of my first games, I was 10 years old, was the Denver Nuggets vs. the New York Knicks,” Chalamet revealed on the “7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony” podcast in December 2025. “If you look at the footage … I snuck down with my buddy. We’re on the tunnel exit and you can see the players. You can see a little kid going nuts on the players! That was me! That was a crazy game to be at.”
The 2008 game between the Knicks and Nuggets at New York City’s Madison Square Garden is infamous for a flagrant foul between Knicks guard Mardy Collins and Nuggets guard J. R. Smith that exploded into an all-out brawl between both teams. All ten players on the court were ejected from the game and seven suspensions were ultimately handed out by the NBA.
Meanwhile, Chalamet’s dedication to the Knicks is so strong that he skipped attending the Met Gala with Jenner on May 4 to sit courtside at MSG as his team beat the Philadelphia 76ers, 137-98.

Jenner has always supported her boyfriend’s NBA fandom, even commenting “daddy” on a social media video of him entering Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, May 19, with a new haircut and mustache to see the Knicks clash with the Cavaliers.
Earlier this year, a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that Chalamet and Jenner are “very serious and have talked about getting engaged this year.”
“Kylie definitely runs the show, and Timothée loves it,” the insider added. “It is a great balance between both of their personalities, and it works.”
Chalamet and Jenner first started dating in early 2023 but they largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight until relatively recently. The duo stepped together for a series of red carpet appearances this year, including attending the 31st annual Critics’ Choice Awards in January and the 98th annual Academy Awards in March.

Fergie Reunites With Black Eyed Peas at the 2026 AMAs
Fergie had a very emotional reunion with her Black Eyed Peas bandmates at the 2026 American Music Awards.
“‘Rock That Body,’ we did it,” Fergie, 51, beamed during the annual awards show. “Black Eyed Peas, ‘Rock That Body,’ American Music Awards 2026, let’s go!”
The “Big Girls Don’t Cry” singer joined former bandmates will.i.am, APL.DE.AP and Taboo on stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday, May 25, to accept the Best Throwback Song Award for their 2010 hit “Rock That Body.”
The new AMAs category celebrated classic songs that ruled pop radio, with “Rock That Body” triumphing over 4 Non Blondes’ “What’s Up?” and Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris.”

Prior to Monday’s win, the Black Eyed Peas hyped their American Music Award nomination via Instagram on April 15 by sharing a montage of TikToks set to “Rock That Body.”
“We’re honored to be nominated for the 2026 @amas !! ‘Rock That Body’ up for Best Throwback Song… a song we made all those years ago, still making an impact today,” they wrote.
Fergie was the lead vocalist of the Black Eyed Peas from 2002 to 2018, at which time she stepped away from the group to focus on her solo career.
“Since the beginning of Black Eyed Peas, we’ve always had amazing vocalists that appeared on the mic with us,” will.i.am, 51, told Ahlan at the time. “People like Macy Gray, Esthero, Debi Nova, Fergie. On Elephunk, there were several females that appeared on that album. Obviously, Fergie was the featured female, but on songs like ‘Let’s Get it Started,’ it’s Noelle [Scaggs], and then Fergie, songs like ‘Latin Girls,’ it’s Debi Nova, and ‘Request Line,’ it’s Macy Gray. We’ll always work with good females.”

He added, “As far as replacing [Fergie], what people know The Black Eyed Peas to be, nobody is replacing Fergie. She’s working on her solo project at the moment, we’re on this brand-new experience, celebrating 20 years of Black Eyed Peas putting out music.”
The classic lineup, including Fergie, finally reunited in December 2025 to celebrate all four of their 50th birthdays.
“Finally got to break bread and celebrate our milestone birthdays together,” Fergie wrote alongside photos of her with the Black Eyed Peas. “What a special night with my brothers, filled with so much love 🫛🫛♥️♥️”
Throughout their career, Fergie and Black Eyed Peas sold more than 80 million records worldwide and topped the Billboard Hot 100 three times with 2009’s “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling” as well as 2010’s “Imma Be.”
The 2026 American Music Awards aired on CBS from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Summer House’s Jesse Teases Reunion Drama for Amanda, West
Summer House’s Jesse Solomon teased that Amanda Batula and West Wilson will both be in the hot seat during the “brutal” season 10 reunion.
“There’s some accountability,” Jesse, 32, exclusively revealed to Us Weekly on the red carpet of the 2026 American Music Music Awards on Monday, May 25. “Obviously it’s brutal … I think there’s a lot of unexpected fights … Watching it on the way here, obviously we cover a lot of the West and Amanda stuff, but there’s a lot of other stuff in the house that people are upset about.”
Jesse teased that there will be a fiery exchange in the three-part reunion between Ben Waddell and Bailey Taylor after they clashed in recent episodes.
“Bailey, she’s a firecracker. I love her the best,” he added.

Of course, much of the drama in Summer House’s season 10 reunion episodes will revolve around Amanda, 34, and West, 31, sparking a romantic relationship. (The duo confirmed they were exploring a “connection” in March, after Amanda and her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, separated in January. West previously dated Summer House costar Ciara Miller as well.)
Asked about Ciara’s state of mind following her showdown with her former best friend Amanda and ex West, Jesse hinted, “She seems good, all things considered.”
“She’s a really strong woman, and just a great person, and great friend,” he went on. “I’m just trying to be there for her and support her.”
The drama-filled teaser for Summer House’s season 10 reunion included one particularly shocking moment where Jesse broke down in tears over Amanda and West’s scandalous relationship. Jesse admitted to Us that he did not expect “at all” to get so emotional over the friendship drama.
“I think I just hadn’t taken time to grieve the loss of a friend group,” he noted. “When confronted with it, it was really a lot to deal with. I was just emotional all day.”
Jesse continued, “I cried for KJ [Dillard], I cried for Mia [Calabrese], cried for the loss of my friends, obviously.”
Later in the red carpet interview, Jesse offered insight on where the Summer House cast stands with Amanda and Kyle after their raw showdown at the reunion taping in New York City.
“Kyle’s in touch with them,” Jesse told Us. “It’s just awkward and weird and uncharted territory. I never thought we would be in this position.”
Earlier this week, Ciara, 30, confirmed that she is ready to turn the page on this dramatic Summer House era after having it out with West and Amanda face-to-face.
“Make it to the waiting and make it to the end of all of this. I’m excited to put it all behind me,” Miller told People on the amFAR red carpet on Saturday, May 23. “The reunion was quite the day, but we are on to bigger and better and, you know, we can say goodbye to certain things.”
Summer House’s season 10 reunion airs on Bravo Tuesday, May 26, at 8 p.m. ET.

Apple TV’s 10-Part Horror Sleeper Hit Officially Changes Genres This Week
Widow’s Bay premiered on Apple TV last month and has quickly captured everyone’s attention. The series, an inventive blend of horror and comedy, is a sleeper hit in the ratings, despite not being a more flashy sci-fi extravaganza such as Severance, Silo, or For All Mankind. Instead, the 10-episode series is making a name for itself as one of the best shows on television right now. If you need more confirmation of Widow’s Bay‘s genius, maybe a 97% Rotten Tomatoes score will convince you. With five episodes already aired, we thought we knew exactly what to expect from the terrifying, yet hilarious series — but with Episode 6, dropping on May 27, Widow’s Bay is proving yet again that we’re in for a wild ride with an unexpected genre switch-up.
‘Widow’s Bay’ Has Dabbled in Several Horror Genres So Far
If you’ve been tuning into Widow’s Bay already, you’ve been treated to some unique takes on fan-favorite horror tropes. The first episode introduces the town of Widow’s Bay, a picturesque island in New England, which quickly reveals more dangers in store for its inhabitants when a mysterious fog descends. This tribute to classic horror films like The Mist or The Fog is a fantastic way to illustrate that the curse on the town has officially begun to unfold.
Matthew Rhys’ Horror Series ‘Widow’s Bay’ Is Apple TV’s Weirdest, Boldest Show Yet | Review
‘Widow’s Bay’ premieres April 29 on Apple TV.
Instead of sticking with the mystery of the deadly fog, Widow’s Bay then reveals a horrifying, murderous clown (a la It) that tries to attack our protagonist, Mayor Tom Loftis (Matthew Rhys), while Episode 3 features an uber-creepy sea hag that makes the island even more lethal. When it appears that the townspeople might be having fun at an innocent party hosted by Tom’s assistant Patricia (Kate O’Flynn) in Episode 4, the gathering turns into one of the series’ scariest scenes ever, with attendees put under a mass spell by what turns out to be an evil spellbook. Last week’s episode revolved around Tom undergoing an unhinged experience, taking psychedelic mushrooms to gain some insight into the curse that’s taken over. By the last frame, it’s clear that Widow’s Bay is actually about to change genres when it returns with Episode 6.
‘Widow’s Bay’ Is Making a Major Genre Shift With the Help of a Famous Horror Director
At the end of Episode 5, Tom is having visions of what transpired with his deceased wife. After trying to leave the island while pregnant, she lost her eyesight, became catatonic, and then died. Tom prays aloud for his son to be protected from these malevolent spirits. As the camera zooms into his darkened bedroom, the picture subtly fades to black and white. This fade might have been barely noticeable, but it makes the transition to the past in this week’s episode even more intriguing.
The closing minutes are clearly setting up viewers for what appears to be a Widow’s Bay flashback episode, aptly titled “Our History.” This take on the “period horror” genre, akin to The Witch or The Others, will likely reveal more insight into the island’s history. More background will only deepen the lore surrounding Widow’s Bay, while also allowing for additional frights. Adding further credence to Widow’s Bay‘s genre shift is the fact that Ti West is credited with directing “Our History,” and he’s already no stranger to period horror, having previously helmed the trilogy of X, Pearl, and MaXXXine. He’s also cut his teeth on small-screen horror by directing episodes of shows like Scream, Wayward Pines, and The Exorcist. West has a unique style, but it will blend nicely with Hiro Murai‘s prior direction on episodes of Widow’s Bay.
There are only a few episodes left in Widow’s Bay‘s first season, and viewers still have a lot to learn about the island and the curse that plagues it, but the series embracing a flashback episode and pivoting to a different horror subgenre in the process is only bound to make it more of a must-watch.

Paula Abdul Reveals Her Message To Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle’s anniversary celebration with Prince Harry unexpectedly turned into a major moment for Paula Abdul.
The pop icon revealed she was stunned to discover the Duchess of Sussex had chosen one of her classic songs for a heartfelt social media tribute marking eight years of marriage.
The sweet post, featuring never-before-seen wedding photos and family moments with Archie and Lilibet, quickly caught Abdul’s attention, leaving the singer emotional over the royal shoutout and eager to personally thank Meghan afterward.

Abdul revealed she was completely caught off guard after Meghan Markle featured her hit song during a recent Instagram tribute celebrating eight years of marriage to Prince Harry.
The “Forever Your Girl” singer spoke about the moment while attending the 2026 American Music Awards on May 25, admitting the unexpected gesture meant a lot to her.
“I was in shock and I was so touched,” Paula told E! News. The music icon explained that moments like that still felt special to her despite decades in the entertainment industry.
“I never take anything for granted with my career, I never have,” she said, adding, “And so, I’m always humbled to have little gems like that appear in my life. It’s very touching.”
Abdul also noted that after seeing the post, she personally reached out to Meghan to show gratitude.
“I just texted her back, saying, ‘What beautiful pictures and thank you so much for using my song,’” the 63-year-old explained.

Besides speaking about the major moment at the AMAs, Paula Abdul also took to social media to express her shock and excitement.
As The Blast reported, the singer took to her Instagram story to repost Meghan Markle’s post. She added a caption, revealing that the song was the perfect choice for the celebration and wishing the couple a happy anniversary.
“So sweet to hear ‘Forever Your Girl’ over these beautiful memories. Wishing you both continued love, laughter, and a very Happy Anniversary! XoP,” Abdul wrote.
Meghan used Abdul’s music while sharing a collection of never-before-seen images from her May 2019 wedding to Harry.
“Eight years ago today,” the Duchess wrote alongside the anniversary tribute.
Meghan Shared Rare Family Moments With Prince Harry And Their Children
The anniversary celebration also included a sweet family moment involving the couple’s children, Archie and Lilibet.
One of the carousels featured black-and-white photos of Meghan and Harry sharing quiet moments in the cloisters of St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, where they said, “I do.”
Another slide showed Archie and Lilibet joining the festivities as they watched Prince Harry surprise Meghan with a special cake.
The intimate post offered another glimpse into the family’s private life, which Meghan and Harry usually keep away from the public eye.
Just days before celebrating their anniversary, the family also marked Archie’s birthday.
“7 years later. Happy birthday to our sweet boy,” Meghan wrote on Instagram.
Meghan Markle Previously Opened Up About Parenting And Self-Grace

Although Meghan and Harry have become more selective about sharing family content publicly, the mom of two has occasionally opened up about motherhood and raising young children while balancing work responsibilities.
The former “Suits” actress reflected on parenting during an interview for Harper’s Bazaar’s November 2025 issue. “I’m a mom with kids at that age where they are constantly learning something new,” Meghan explained.
She compared encouraging her children through difficult moments to showing herself patience as a businesswoman and founder.
Meghan continued discussing how parenting has changed her perspective, especially when it comes to handling challenges and mistakes.
“I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day,” she shared, adding, “But you can remember and say, ‘I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that’s going to come so easily soon.’”
The 44-year-old explained that she tried to apply the same mindset to her own life and business projects.
“I can give myself the same grace as a founder. There’s no such thing as perfect. I, too, get to make mistakes,” Meghan said.
Meghan Markle Reportedly Carrying Financial Load As Harry’s Deals Slow Down

Although Meghan and Harry appear to have everything going on well, sources claim the pair are not doing so well financially.
According to a recent report from The Blast, insiders claimed “cash flow, or lack of it, is a major concern” for the couple despite their multimillionaire status.
Sources alleged their California lifestyle now costs roughly $6 million annually, with nearly half reportedly going toward private security for Harry, Meghan, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet.
Their expenses also allegedly include mortgage payments on their Montecito mansion, staff salaries, travel costs, and ongoing legal bills.
The report further claimed Meghan has effectively become the family’s “breadwinner” as Harry struggles to secure the same level of lucrative deals he once commanded after stepping back from royal duties.
Insiders alleged that Harry’s speaking fees have dropped from around $1 million to about $50,000 per appearance, while Netflix downgraded the couple’s deal to a “first look” arrangement and Spotify ended its partnership entirely.
According to sources, Meghan has been “working her socks off” on her As Ever brand and other ventures to keep finances steady because Harry is reportedly reluctant to dip further into inheritance money left by Princess Diana and the Queen Mother.

Sexiest Naked Dresses at the 2026 American Music Awards
One of the sexiest fashion trends at the 2026 American Music Awards involved the stars showing off their curves in nearly naked dresses.
Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul hit the blue carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in a white lace-style gown that showcased her legendary legs.
Social Song of the Year nominee Tinashe and International Artist Award of Excellence winner Karol G rocked barely-there dresses as they posed for the press, as well. Other standouts in naked or nearly-naked fashion included Golden Globe Award nominee Teyana Taylor and YouTuber Eva Gutowski, plus Summer House’s Mia Calabrese paying homage to Jennifer Lopez’s iconic green Versace chiffon gown from the 2000 Grammy Awards.

HBO Max Officially Confirms Streaming Release Date for Alexander Skarsgård’s New R-Rated Movie
Alexander Skarsgård has given us some amazing movies and shows. The versatile actor fits into any genre easily, which is why he sometimes takes risks playing characters that few would dare to play. He played a Viking king in The Northman, a complex supporting role in The Diary of a Teenage Girl, and the iconic titular jungle boy in The Legend of Tarzan, with equal ease.
Last year, Skarsgård starred as a security android who struggles with emotions and free will in Apple TV’s Murderbot, which became a stellar sci-fi show for the audience. He took another risk by playing an impossibly hot biker in Harry Lighton’s Pillion, an R-rated dark dramedy. Pillion follows a lonely and timid man, Colin (Harry Melling), living a quiet life with his parents. Seeking an escape from his humdrum routine, Colin meets Ray (Skarsgård), an enigmatic, hyper-masculine, handsome leader of a local motorbike club. Things change when Ray introduces Colin to a close-knit community of bikers, and the two enter an intense BDSM relationship. While Colin initially finds fulfillment in this new lifestyle Ray provides, the relationship soon becomes more complex than it initially appeared.
Based on Box Hill by Adam Mars-Jones, the film made a huge wave during its festival run, picking up the Best Screenplay in Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival. It further got multiple nominations and wins in the British Independent Film Awards and British Academy Film Awards. With its unique premise and compelling performances, the film has slightly divided its audience, with critics giving it a 99% rating while the audience gave it an 89% Rotten Tomatoes score. It also earned $6.5 million worldwide on a budget of $1 million, making it a commercial success.
‘Pillion’ Just Got More Accessible
While Pillion and its BDSM themes might not be for everyone, it’s a story worth a shot. Melling, who is best known for playing Harry Potter’s cruel cousin Dudley in the iconic franchise, was universally applauded for the immense vulnerability, humor, and tragic longing he brought to the character, while Skarsgard brought rigid, authoritative control to his role with tones of repressed trauma. The feature has so many themes and plot points that speak to a larger audience. Fans who’d love to check out the movie for themselves are in luck as Pillion arrives on HBO Max on June 5.

This year, the awards — which are fan-voted — are being hosted by Queen Latifah. Taylor Swift leads the nominations with eight for her album The Life of a Showgirl. She’s up for Artist of the Year, Best Female Pop Artist, Album of the Year and Best Pop Album. Swift, 36, is also nominated for Song of the Year, Best Music Video and Best Pop Song for “The Fate of Ophelia,” as well as Song of the Summer for “Elizabeth Taylor.”
Swift previously attended the awards show in 2022. At the time, she rocked a gold jumpsuit featuring a plunging halter neckline, crystal embellishments and a snatched waist.
SOMBR, who is set to perform, is also going head-to-head with Dean for New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Breakthrough Album of the Year.

More artists who are taking the stage to wow the crowd with some of their biggest hits include Karol G, KATSEYE, Keith Urban, Twenty One Pilots and Teyana Taylor.
Unlike other award shows, fans are allowed to attend the event. Tickets are on sale through AXS. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. local time with guests expected to take their seats by 4:45 p.m.
