Star India player attends Liverpool vs Fulham Premier League 2026-27 match at Anfield; presented with personalised jersey [In Pictures]

Star Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav was in attendance for the Premier League 2026-27 game between Liverpool and Fulham. The contest was played on Saturday, September 12, at the Anfield Stadium.

The match ended in a goalless draw, with Liverpool sitting sixth in the table with one win and three draws after four games. On the other hand, Fulham are 18th with one point from four games.

Kuldeep was presented with a personalised jersey by Liverpool, with the club also sharing a post on Instagram to welcome the spinner to Anfield, writing:

“Welcome to Anfield, Kuldeep Yadav.”

On the cricketing front, the 31-year-old recently turned out for Yorkshire in their 2026 County Championship Division One game against Essex.

The left-arm wrist-spinner returned figures of 4/70 in 23 overs and 6/50 in 16 overs to finish with 10/120 as Yorkshire secured a dominant innings and 106-run victory.

Kuldeep Yadav left out of India squad for Afghanistan T20I series

Team India are set to return to action later today (Sunday, September 13) in the first game of the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. The following two games will be played on September 15 and 17, with all three matches scheduled to take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

Kuldeep Yadav is not part of the side, with Varun Chakaravarthy and Ravi Bishnoi getting the nod ahead of him. The Uttar Pradesh cricketer last played a T20I for the Men in Blue during the 2026 T20 World Cup, which India won.

Overall, he has appeared in 54 games in the format, claiming 95 wickets in 52 innings at an average of 13.74, a strike rate of 11.8, and an economy rate of 6.95. He has two five-wicket hauls to his credit, with his best figures of 5/17 coming against South Africa in 2023.
