Release Date: March 19 | Studio: David Production | Streamer: Netflix

Cast: Shogo Sakata, Yohei Azakami, Kaito Ishikawa, Rie Takahashi, Kenta Miyake, Masaaki Mizunaka, Kenichirou Matsuda.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has become one of anime’s most recognizable franchises, thanks to Hirohiko Araki’s iconic manga, dramatic poses, and larger-than-life battles, not to mention fashion. Each of its nine arcs follows a different member of the Joestar family, all carrying the nickname “JoJo,” while introducing new settings, stories, and supernatural abilities. One of the series’ most distinctive elements is the Stand, a physical manifestation of a person’s spiritual energy that can fight alongside, or sometimes on behalf of, its user.

STEEL BALL RUN takes the franchise in a new direction, introducing Johnny Joestar, a former jockey who was once considered a genius in the sport before becoming paralyzed from the waist down. Set in 1890, the story follows Johnny as he enters a brutal cross-country horse race across America, initially drawn by the mysterious Gyro Zeppeli. But what begins as a competition quickly turns into something much more dangerous as the racers encounter strange incidents and hidden agendas along the way. Now, Johnny and Gyro are entering the 2nd STAGE, a grueling 750-mile journey through the desert. With the race becoming increasingly unpredictable and the true motivations of those involved beginning to surface, simply reaching the finish line may be the least of their problems.

If you’re a fan of over-the-top romantic comedies, it doesn’t get much more chaotic than The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You. The series follows Rentaro Aijo, a teenager whose terrible luck in love has resulted in 100 straight rejections. Things take an even stranger turn when he learns that he’s destined to meet 100 soulmates during high school. But if any of those relationships fail, the soulmate he was meant to be with will die. With that terrifying responsibility on his shoulders, Rentaro does everything he can to make sure every one of his girlfriends feels equally loved, no matter how complicated his increasingly crowded love life becomes.

Season 3 continues Rentaro’s journey as his group of soulmates keeps growing, bringing with it plenty of new personalities, ridiculous situations, and unexpected romantic moments. For all its absurdity, the series isn’t simply interested in piling on new girlfriends for the sake of the joke. Each character gets a distinct personality, quirks, and relationship with Rentaro, giving the comedy a surprisingly sincere emotional core.

Release Date: July 5 | Studio: Lapin Track | Streamer: Crunchyroll

Cast: Sayumi Suzushiro, Shougo Sakata, Wataru Katou, Cocoro Oomori.

You and I Are Polar Opposites quickly won over fans when it premiered earlier this year, and now the charming romantic comedy is back for another season. Based on Kōcha Agasawa’s popular manga, the series stands out for its refreshingly grounded take on young love, finding humor in the awkward moments while also giving its characters room to deal with insecurity, vulnerability, and the emotional ups and downs that come with navigating a first relationship. The story revolves around Miyu Suzuki and Yuusuke Tani, two classmates who seem like they couldn’t be less compatible.

Suzuki is bubbly, social, and constantly conscious of how other people perceive her, while Tani is reserved, direct, and perfectly comfortable ignoring everyone else’s expectations. Despite their differences, the two gradually grow closer and discover that their contrasting personalities might be exactly what makes their relationship work. Season 2 continues exploring Suzuki and Tani’s relationship as they figure out what it means to be together, but their romance isn’t happening in a vacuum. Their friends are also beginning to navigate their own crushes and relationships, bringing new romantic complications and plenty of opportunities for the series to explore the messy, funny, and sometimes surprisingly sweet reality of being a teenager in love.

13 Low-Profile Loafers Taking Over Fall 2026

Fall may just be my favorite season. Cozy candles, delicious pumpkin-spice drinks and nostalgic films just do something to me — but the seasonal fashion tops it all. From plaid scarves to chunky cardigans, autumnal style is a step above. While I usually reach for fall-ready boots this time of year, I’m trading them in for elegant low-profile loafers.

This slim footwear style creates a sophisticated aesthetic that pairs effortlessly with denim, sweaters, and skirts. When I’m feeling extra playful, I even layer a printed sock underneath, creating a two-in-one look. But my favorite part? Retailers like Amazon and Nordstrom have tons of fresh styles that start at just — wait for it — $17.

Discover my top picks below, and achieve your best fall style yet.

13 Low-Profile Loafers for Fall

1. Most Comfortable: On sale for $33, the Fitory slip-ons offer a sleek, black silhouette, including a chain-link detail across the vamp. Better yet, the flexible construction keeps you comfortable all day long.

2. On Trend: Modern and trend-forward, Coutgo’s sock-like penny loafers feature a pull-on design. The chocolate hue effortlessly pairs with fall colors, taking the guesswork out of getting ready.

3. Feminine and Elegant: If you’re in the market for more feminine loafers, consider the Birdies Starling slip-on flats. A soft almond toe, notched edges and luxurious velvet create an elevated option that will have everyone asking where you got them.

4. Make a Statement: Your closet deserves a pop of color, and orange is your best bet this time of year. The Aerosoles Day Drive loafers feature a vibrant, mango hue and gold-tone hardware.

It’s the season for snuggly sweaters, cinnamon-scented candles and pumpkin spice lattes. Well, it’s almost time for the aforementioned, inspiring me to get a head start on fall dressing. Alongside slouchy leather totes, cozy pullovers and classic denim, I’m turning my attention to autumn-ready footwear — and Walmart has a surprisingly good lineup. The affordable […]

5. It’s All in the Details: Slip into Bandolino’s glossy Lindio loafers, a pointed-toe pick with a charming bow accent. The subtle block heel adds just the right amount of height.

6. Slip On and Go: Suiara takes a classic loafer and combines it with a mule-like design, offering a silhouette that’s both easy and refined. These relaxed penny loafers are at the top of my wishlist.

7. The Best of Both Worlds: $17 for loafers? Yes, you read that right. The Finiwor pointed-toe dress shoes bridge the gap between comfort and polish, offering a sleek black design and cloud-like insole.

8. ‘It’-Girl Loved: Fashion spheres are obsessed with the pinched-loafer look, and Free Assembly masters the trend without costing you hundreds. Luxe-looking details include polished tassels and a round toe.

9. Like Slippers but Better: If you’ve ever wished you could wear your slippers around town, then these are the loafers for you. Complete with a scrunched design, the Scenario shoes stretch without sacrificing style.

10. Editor Favorite: It doesn’t get more sophisticated than Sam Edelman’s Loraine loafers. You’ll reach for them on repeat thanks to the chain bit, elongated toe and patent leather material.

11. Seeing Green: Who said loafers had to be onyx? Grab an olive-green variation from Nordstrom, featuring a stacked heel and intricate stitching.

12. Timeless and Refined: It’s not every day you find a loafer with a flared heel. These Italian penny loafers from Quince were made for an elevated wardrobe.

13. Sightseeing-Approved: The plush, cushioned insoles in these soft leather loafers seal the deal, making them perfect for sightseeing while traveling.

Chris Brown lawsuit busy court The R&B Tour Maria Avila $13 million settlement court filing housekeeper dog bite

Chris Brown reportedly filed court documents claiming he’s too busy performing in ‘The R&B Tour’ to appear at a courthouse in Van Nuys, California. The filing comes after Brown was ordered to pay his former housekeeper, Maria Avila, a $13 million settlement following a dog attack.

Brown Claims Tour Schedule Keeps Him From Court As Housekeeper Tries To Collect $13 Million Settlement

Singer Chris Brown is currently touring nationwide with Usher in ‘The R&B Tour,’ and the duo has been making headlines for their risqué fan interactions during the shows. The tour is so popular that it was recently extended. According to documents obtained by TMZ, the performer claims the tour schedule is keeping him from appearing at court in Van Nuys, California. Not only that, but the docs state that ‘The R&B Tour’ may be extended again.

Brown owes his ex-housekeeper, Maria Avila, a $13 million settlement after she won a lawsuit against the singer. Avila sued Brown after she was mauled by his 200-pound dog at his home in Tarzana.

Furthermore, Avila intends to review his bank statements and finances to determine how she’ll collect her $13 million settlement after a judge ruled she could be paid from Brown’s tour profits. However, the documents claim Brown’s tour schedule prevents his appearance in court.

Singer Shares Cryptic Post Amid Filing

Brown also shared a cryptic message with fans on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, September 2. The post was made mere days after the news about the court filing was reported. However, it’s unclear if the post is related to the filing.

“A n*gga in motion don’t have time to explain his direction.”

The ‘Loyal‘ artist also shared pictures from ‘The R&B Tour’ with fans on the platform.

Brown performed three shows in the San Francisco Bay area on August 28, August 29, and September 1, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Jacob Elordi’s ‘The Dog Stars’ Flops With Weak $8M Opening

Published

on

The 98th Academy Awards-Arrivals

Jacob Elordi’s latest movie, “The Dog Stars,” has failed to make an impression at the box office during its opening weekend.

Despite the actor’s growing popularity following movies like “Wuthering Heights” and “Frankenstein,” his star power couldn’t help boost the film’s performance.

“The Dog Stars” earned just $8 million during its opening weekend, falling far short of its more than $80 million production budget.

The 98th Academy Awards-Arrivals
MediaPunch / AdMedia / MEGA

“The Dog Stars” failed to attract a large audience during its opening weekend, despite being led by one of Hollywood’s rising stars, Jacob Elordi.

The film was shown in about 3,330 theaters across North America but brought in only $8 million during its first weekend in cinemas. This placed it fifth on the domestic box-office chart, behind several competing releases, including “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” and “Coyote vs. Acme.”

Expectations were higher given its $80 million budget and the fact that it was helmed by Ridley Scott. However, Scott’s presence, like Elordi’s, failed to translate into strong box-office numbers.

Viewers Share Mixed Reactions To ‘The Dog Stars’

Online, some viewers who reviewed the movie shared their disappointment with its plot.

“It just didn’t really go anywhere, first hour I was in, but the second hour it lost complete control. If anything, it was a post-apocalyptic love story,” one wrote.

“I don’t know how a decent story from the book can be so poorly represented in a film,” another individual shared.

“DOG STARS is the kind of post-apocalyptic flick you’ll instantly forget,” someone else stated. “Despite being one of my favorite genres, it makes a series of underwhelming choices and has absolutely nothing new to say. Ridley Scott is on cruise control.”

Jacob Elordi Fights To Survive In ‘The Dog Stars’

“The Dog Stars” is adapted from Peter Heller’s 2012 novel and follows a lone survivor living with his dog at an abandoned airport after an apocalyptic event. His isolated existence takes a turn when he discovers a mysterious radio signal and sets out to find its source, all while struggling to secure food and other essential supplies.

While the film explores familiar post-apocalyptic themes, it takes a different approach by leaving out the zombies often seen in the genre.

Elordi leads the cast as the film’s central character, with Margaret Qualley, Josh Brolin, Guy Pearce, Allison Janney, and Benedict Wong also appearing in key roles.

Ridley Scott’s ‘The Last Duel’ Suffered A Similar Fate

“The Dog Stars’” weak debut also draws comparisons to Scott’s 2021 historical drama “The Last Duel,” which opened with just $4.7 million in October that year despite a production budget of roughly $100 million.

At the time, Scott claimed that Disney had done a fantastic job promoting “The Last Duel.” He then blamed millennials for the movie’s poor performance, citing their alleged ignorance of history.

“I think what it boils down to [is] what we’ve got today [are] the audiences who were brought up on these fucking cell phones. The millennials do not ever want to be taught anything unless you are told it on the cell phone,” Scott said.

Will Jacob Elordi And Ridley Scott Work Together Again?

Jacob Elordi attends the ''Wuthering Height'' UK premiere
ZUMAPRESS.com / MEGA

“The Dog Stars” marks the first collaboration between Elordi and veteran director Scott. For now, there is no indication that the two intend to work together again, and the film’s disappointing box-office performance could make another collaboration even less likely.

However, both are already moving on to other projects following their first collaboration.

Elordi is in talks to take on a lead role in A24’s upcoming thriller “Scapegoat.” If he joins the project, he is expected to star alongside former Marvel star Scarlett Johansson.

Meanwhile, Scott recently revealed that he is “rewriting the next Alien film,” which will likely serve as the last installment in the iconic sci-fi franchise.

Disney Officially Replaces Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian

Published

on

03153801_poster_w780.jpg

Pedro Pascal was arguably the first big star to emerge from Star Wars’ Disney+ era as he took on the role of Din Djarin in The Mandalorian, primarily providing the voice of the titular helmet-wearing character. Pascal has played Din since 2019, across three seasons of the series before making the jump to the big screen with The Mandalorian and Grogu. However, Disney+ is already bringing the beloved character back for another adventure, without Pedro Pascal.

Disney has confirmed that Gavin Hammon will replace Pascal as the voice of Din Djarin in LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian, which arrives on Disney+ today. The animated special will offer a comedic LEGO retelling of memorable moments from all three seasons of The Mandalorian, with Hammon providing the voice of its helmeted hero. What makes this particularly notable, though, is that Pascal seems to be the only member of the main cast who isn’t actually reprising their role from the television series. Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Emily Swallow (Supernatural), Ming-Na Wen (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka), Temuera Morrison (The Book of Boba Fett), and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) are all reprising their roles for the special.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Does Pedro Pascal Still Want to Play The Mandalorian?

Hammon taking over the LEGO version of Din Djarin doesn’t mean Pascal has finished playing the character in live action. During the press tour for The Mandalorian and Grogu press tour earlier this year, Pascal made it clear that he was willing to continue for as long as audiences wanted him: “You know, age is a real thing… Whatever my body can do, and however long people want to experience these stories with these characters, is how long I want it to last.”

Pascal separately said that he hoped there would be a “next chapter” for Din and Grogu, arguing that there was still plenty of potential left in the characters and the corner of the Star Wars universe created by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. His absence from the LEGO special also isn’t entirely unprecedented for the character. During The Mandalorian, stunt performers Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder regularly wore Din Djarin’s armor for action sequences and when Pascal wasn’t physically available, with Pascal providing the character’s voice.

LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian and The Mandalorian and Grogu arrive on Disney+ today. Stay tuned at Collider for more.

Alexandra Grant Faces Awkward Questions Over Art Exhibition

Published

Lionsgate'S 'Ballerina' Los Angeles Special Screening

Alexandra Grant is facing questions over whether her latest museum project really benefited the female writers whose work it featured. Critics have questioned whether the exhibition gave those writers a bigger platform or drew more attention to Keanu Reeves‘ longtime girlfriend herself. The scrutiny grew after several participating writers reportedly said the project was less collaborative than they expected and raised concerns about the fees they were initially offered.

Keanu Reeves’ longtime partner, Alexandra Grant, is facing criticism over an art project that was promoted as amplifying female writers’ voices.

German art magazine Monopol questioned whether Grant’s “One Star Is Enough to Believe in the Light” exhibition at Neues Museum Nürnberg actually empowered the writers whose work it incorporated. The outlet argued that several of the contemporary German-language authors featured were already established figures who hardly needed Grant’s introduction to an audience.

That framing became a central point of contention because the project positioned Grant as someone helping bring overlooked female voices into the museum space. Monopol pushed back on that idea. The outlet pointed out that Fatma Aydemir, Rasha Khayat, Olivia Wenzel, and Pauline Füg were already accomplished writers with established careers, major publications, and industry recognition.

Monopol’s criticism of Grant went further. According to the publication, Füg, Khayat, and Wenzel said the dialogue, or “ping-pong,” process they expected with Grant never materialized.

The authors also reportedly said Grant characterized the exhibition as a low-budget project and initially offered only small fees for use of their texts.

The magazine contrasted those claims with the exhibition’s high-profile opening, which Reeves attended, and questioned whether his star power ultimately drew more attention to Grant than the participating writers. Monopol reported that she later increased the authors’ fees and secured additional usage rights following negotiations.

Alexandra Grant Discussed The Women’s Voices Behind Her Exhibition

Months before Monopol published its criticism, Grant had already outlined the thinking behind the Nuremberg exhibition.

In a June interview with ELLE, she said the show would feature eight women connected to the German language, spanning from a medieval nun to contemporary writers. Grant described the project as an examination of how women had shaped themselves through literature and writing over time.

She also said the exhibition would present their voices through her paintings on paper and spoke broadly about the struggles women faced across different eras.

Grant’s own description of the exhibition offers a broader view of what she appeared to be trying to do.

In her chat with ELLE before the show opened, she described a project spanning centuries of women’s writing, with each voice interpreted through her visual work. That framing suggests the exhibition was not simply about introducing unknown writers to the public.

An author need not be obscure for an artist to bring her work to a different audience or to explore it through another medium. Grant also openly acknowledged Aydemir’s stature before the controversy emerged, calling her a distinguished novelist and playwright.

Alexandra Grant Reveals The Key To Her Relationship With Keanu Reeves

Grant also recently offered a rare glimpse into what has kept her relationship with Reeves going strong.

Speaking to PEOPLE in May, the artist said “mutual respect” is key to how the couple navigates both their personal and creative lives. She explained that they can spend as long as necessary discussing problems, challenges, or ideas while still giving each other room to work independently.

That understanding extends to Reeves’ acting career. Grant joked that she has “lived with John Wick” and “lived with Neo,” referring to two of his most famous roles. She said she respects the intense process when Reeves is immersed in a character and compared it to entering her own “painter mode.”

Joseline Hernandez Drags Benzino For Defending Stevie J

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

Joseline Hernandez isn’t backing down from exposing how Stevie J allegedly doesn’t contribute to caring for their daughter, Bonnie Bella. And Benzino is part of the reason Joseline is speaking out! She shared heated words for Zino after he appeared to defend Stevie and blast the Puerto Rican Princess for discussing child support with her nine-year-old.

The Background Context: Joseline & Bonnie Bella’s Conversation

This week, clips circulated from Joseline’s new reality show, showing her and Bonnie chattin’ openly about what some would call “grown folks business.” In one video, for instance, Bonnie says Joseline told her what a “stripper” does for work. Hernandez admits she wants to keep Bella from finding out about her past on the internet or at school. During that same conversation, the mother and daughter discussed how involved Stevie J is. Bonnie Bella tells her mom that she thinks he’s both a good dad and not a good dad. The nine-year-old said sometimes her dad wants to see her, making him good. Other times, she believes he lies about having to end calls for meetings. Joseline added to Bonnie’s reasoning, alleging that Stevie J doesn’t give them any money. “He don’t give us a dollar. Your school is so expensive. He doesn’t even have the decency to call and say, ” Hey, do y’all need some money over there?” Hernandez said.

Benzino Weighs In On Joseline Hernandez’s Talk With Bonnie

As the Joseline and Bonnie Bella clips circulated, Benzino hopped online to share his two cents.  He shared his stance against Hernandez being so open with her nine-year-old. Zino mentioned that the girl shouldn’t know about her past as a stripper. He said it’s an inappropriate conversation for Bonnie’s age, calling her “way too young.” However, Benzino said the “real issue” is Joseline speaking about Stevie J not giving them any money.

“This is a real problem in our community, where the mother paints this narrative of the father because the father is not with the mother anymore. And she’s filling Bonnie Bella’s head up with this narrative…as they get older they start resenting their father and I just think that is wrong.”

Benzino said that Joseline should tell the whole story if she’s going to tell anything. “…without Stevie her career wouldn’t be where it is and that’s just a fact,” he added. He then appeared to speak to her directly, telling her to stop trying to paint a “bad father” picture without full context. He also challenged women to take accountability in the chaos and emphasize that without Stevie J there would be no Joseline Hernandez or ‘Love & Hip Hop.’

“I don’t like to sit back and watch somebody bash someone’s father to a child who’s 10 years old. I thought that was very inappropriate and a lot of y’all who’s cosigning it, y’all need your head examined…cause it wasn’t cool.”

Joseline Hernandez Drags Benzino & Doubles Down On Her Stance On Stevie J’s Position In Daughter’s Life

After The Shade Room reposted Benzino’s comments on Instagram, Joseline didn’t hold back on the degree of her insult. She implied that Zino was performing fellatio on Stevie J, writing in the comment section, “Omg I see some of Stevie j [nut emoticon] on the side of his mouth. Someone give him a washcloth.”

TSR reposted her comment on IG again. This time, Joseline slid into the comment section to double down on her narrative that her daughter’s biological father does not contribute financially to caring for Bonnie Bella. She called him disgusting and suggested that deadbeat dads should be locked up.

“That lame Stevie hasn’t gave me a 1$ dollar for Bonnie since she’s been born I don’t talk bad about him to Bonnie’Bella at all. But you not going to tell me I can’t ask my daughter how she feels about anything. Stevie been doing that. No one feelings are valid except his feelings. Stevie needs a job and needs to provide for his children period. Not just Bonnie’Bella but all his 8 or 9 kids that he has. He is a disgusting human being. That girl eat, dresses, hair, insurance, school, and activities and he has never payed a dollar for anything. Smh. These DEAD BEATS need Jail time.”

At this time, Stevie J has not publicly weighed in on what Joseline is alleging or how Benzino appeared to come to his defense.
