The actress recently opened up in a candid interview, explaining that her scars are a reminder of the choice she made to stay alive for her children for as long as possible.
Meanwhile, Jolie came under fire when fans accused her of baring her scars as a “sympathy” tactic amid her brutal divorce from her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

During an interview with French Inter, Jolie got honest about a painful part of her past that she has learned to embrace.
The 50-year-old actress got a double mastectomy in 2013 after learning that she carried the BRCA 1 gene, which put her at risk for cancer. Now, she has opened up about the decision, noting that she decided to do the procedure to give herself as much time as possible to be there for her loved ones.
To Jolie, her scars are only a reminder of the choices she made and her experiences as a human being. “Well, I’ve always been someone more interested in the scars and the life that people carry,” the “Maleficent” star said.

“I’m not drawn to some perfect idea of a life that has no scars. So no, I think, hey, you know, I see my scars are a choice I made to do what I could do to stay here as long as I could with my children,” she added.
The Oscar winner acknowledged her “love” for her scars, saying that she is grateful for the opportunity to do something “proactive” about her health.
She then recalled losing her mother at a young age, causing her to raise her kids without their grandmother. As a result, it all summed up to her life experiences.
“So for me, no, I think this is life. And if you get to the end of your life and you haven’t made [a big, you know], you haven’t made mistakes, you haven’t made a mess, you don’t have scars, you haven’t lived a full enough life, I think,” she noted.

Jolie’s honest statements came weeks after she decided to openly show the scars from her double mastectomy.
In December 2025, The Blast reported that the Hollywood icon was interviewed by TIME France, during which her scars were openly photographed.
Speaking about her decision, she spoke about being moved by other women’s scars and wanting to join them in a bid to keep the empowerment train going.
“I wanted to join them, knowing that TIME France would be sharing information about breast health, prevention, and knowledge about breast cancer,” she explained.

After Jolie openly shared her scars with the world, she received an unexpected reaction from fans, who accused her of doing it for sympathy.
The interview was met with spiteful comments on social media from fans who couldn’t help but point out that she decided to show the world her scars amid her long, drawn-out divorce battle with Pitt.
Nevertheless, insiders close to the actress defended her, saying that her words were being misconstrued.
“She is proud of what she’s done and why she’s sharing it. But people are twisting it, linking it to everything else going on in her life,” one insider said, according to The Blast.

Amid the controversy surrounding her interview, Jolie was still reportedly moving forward with her plans to relocate abroad.

Zarin appears to be taking her firing personally, telling In Touch that the E! Network “didn’t even give me a chance” to rectify the situation. “I took it down right away. People make mistakes. I’m human.”
Zarin’s statement follows the announcement by the producers of the new “RHONY” spin-off, “The Golden Life,” that they have decided to part ways with the outspoken reality star.
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life,” the statement read, according to The Blast. “We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”

Zarin’s dramatic firing came after the Bravo OG slammed Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime performance, which became the most-watched in the program’s history, with over 130 million viewers.
In a since-deleted video, Zarin criticized Bad Bunny, saying it wasn’t “appropriate” to perform at the Big Game in Spanish, Bad Bunny’s native language.
Zarin also found an issue with some of Bad Bunny’s choreography, calling it “inappropriate” for the “Tití Me Preguntó” singer to be grabbing his crotch during the show.

Zarin Called Bad Bunny’s Performance A ‘Political Statement’
Zarin didn’t stop there. Later in the video, the “Real Housewives” reality star said she would’ve preferred to enjoy the show with an artist who sang in a language she knew before adding even more fuel to the fire.
“To me, it looked like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the entire thing. I’m not taking a side, one way or the other … I think it was an ICE thing. I think that the NFL sold out, and it’s very sad,” she said.
Zarin wasn’t the only public figure to voice frustration with Bad Bunny’s performance.
Donald Trump, Jake Paul, and conservative names like Kid Rock and Megyn Kelly also found issue with the Puerto Rican-inspired performance.

Someone Is On Zarin’s Side
A source spoke to Page Six after Zarin’s firing and condemned the E! Network for making such drastic changes so soon. “A lot of people were not happy about the Bad Bunny show,” the source shared, implying Zarin’s comments were shared by several others:
“Megyn Kelly had a viral video slamming it. Whether you like him or not, the President of the United States slammed it.”
The insider added that E! “completely overreacted.” They added that had network waited a week for things to die down, everything would’ve been OK. “The show doesn’t air for nine months,” they said.
They finished: “Jill said what half the country was saying, but she got fired for it.”

‘RHONY’ Spin-Off Coming To A TV Screen Later This Year
The new “RHONY” spin-off will now feature Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, and Luann de Lesseps. It’s unclear whether there will be casting changes since Zarin’s departure.
The show’s synopsis teases “fallouts and friendship” in the Sunshine State, adding that in “this new ‘golden’ era of life, the longtime friends are thriving in and around Palm Beach with fabulous homes and a bustling social scene.”
The spin-off garnered positive reactions after its announcement in early 2026, primarily because many viewers demanded the original “RHONY” women return to TV after Bravo fired them in 2021.
Zarin’s participation in the series was especially noteworthy, given that she has publicly called for her return to the series since her initial firing in 2012. In 2023, the crew was supposed to return for a legacy version of the series; however, that was canned after Zarin reportedly failed to reach an agreement with the show’s producers.
It’s unclear what Zarin’s next move will be. With Bravo officially moving on from most of the women and E! cutting her out of the deal, fans may only have the original “RHONY” archives to look back on.
If Jenna Johnson’s wishes could come true, she would have one popular dance come back to Dancing With the Stars.
“I really loved trio nights, and there was kind of an element of it this year,” Johnson, 31, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while announcing Dancing With the Stars Con. “But I wish it would be with pros because I feel like they always just really spiced up the week or the season.”
The trio dances — where a professional dancer whose celebrity partner had been eliminated or a member of the troupe would dance with a celebrity and their partner still in the competition — typically occurred during the quarterfinals or the semifinals of ABC’s hit reality show.
“I do like when they add little wrinkles, or go back to old fads that people loved,” Johnson’s season 33 partner, Joey Graziadei, told Us. “With trio night, I never got to see. I never got to be a part of it. It would be really, really cool to see two pros and a celebrity at some point next season, if they can do it.”

While fans will likely have to wait until the fall to see a new group of celebrities compete on season 35 of Dancing With the Stars, the show is launching something new this summer for loyal viewers.

For the first time ever, your favorite pros, judges and past contestants will come together at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California, for a three-day event appropriately titled Dancing With the Stars Con 2026.
Described as a “celebration of all things Dancing With the Stars,” the event (scheduled for July 31 to August 2) will feature live dance performances, panels, interactive photo experiences, exhibits and much more.
“I think this weekend in Palm Springs is going to be so epic because you really get more hands-on time with all of us,” Johnson teased to Us. “The pros are going to be there. Fan-favorite celebrities are going to be there. Joey might be dancing.”
After hosting the “Dancing With the Stars Official Podcast,” Graziadei, 30, said he heard from so many fans who wanted to learn secrets about the show that first premiered in 2005.
Dancing With the Stars Con may just be the event where burning questions are answered.

Jourdin Pauline recently went live to issue an apology to the Black community following her previous remarks. Back in December, amid her sexual assault accusations against Tylil, she went live and made comments about her preferences, stating, “I don’t like Black men, I like White boys,” while also expressing her dislike for him. The streamer took time on her recent live to address anyone who may have formed a vendetta against her based on those past comments, clarifying her stance and attempting to clear the air.
“We all say things we don’t mean when we’re hurt. I don’t want anyone to ever think that’s something I meant, that’s something I live by, or that’s how I feel. No. I was traumatized, and I was hurt, and I said something that I did not mean, and I shouldn’t have said. I genuinely apologize from the bottom of my heart for those remarks. Black people are phenomenal,” she said.
While speaking about Black History Month and breaking generational barriers, she added, “My kids are going to be Black, my dog is Black, I’m Black, my mama Black, my friends are Black. I love Black people, and I love Black men.”
Jourdine Pauline Clears The Air While Doubling Down On Claims Against Tylil James
As clips from the streamer’s recent live began circulating online, she took to X to clear the air after some sites claimed she was apologizing to Tylil. Jourdin made it clear her apology was not directed at him and that she still plans to pursue legal action. In her tweet, she wrote, “I did not apologize to him… I apologized to ‘BLACK MEN’ for my cold remark my attorneys and detectives are still handling this case BYEEEEE.”
She doubled down in a follow-up post, adding, “HE WOULD NEVER GET AN APOLOGY FOR WHAT HE DID.” She also addressed critics directly, writing, “YALL LOUD AND WRONG PLS GOMD.”

Blake Lively And Justin Baldoni Are Unable To Reach Settlement In Ongoing Legal Battle
According to Deadline, the sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit at the center of the bitter legal saga between former co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will head to trial after settlement discussions failed.
Per Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, attempts to reach a settlement during the February 11 court appearance were “unsuccessful.” Despite the settlement no longer being an option, Freedman said that he and Baldoni are “looking forward to” the May 18 trial.
Freedman also shared that while a settlement before the trial begins is always a possibility, he doesn’t “know that we will.”

Lively and Baldoni arrived at the Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse in Manhattan earlier on Wednesday following a scandalous batch of text messages and emails from Lively that were revealed as part of a deposition.

The February 11 court appearance was the first time the embattled former co-stars had been in court since Lively filed the $550 million lawsuit, in which she claims that she faced repeated harassment from Baldoni during the production of “It Ends With Us,” and that he launched a smear campaign against her.

Hollywood A-Listers Reportedly Annoyed To Be In The Middle Of The Legal Drama
Some of the biggest names in Hollywood were included in the 181 pages of unsealed documents as part of Lively and Baldoni’s deposition.
Taylor Swift, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, and Matt Damon were all included in the documents, the most shocking of which featured Swift and Lively discussing Baldoni in very harsh terms.
Per Us Weekly, an insider close to Affleck and Damon told the outlet that the famous Hollywood besties have thoughts about the messy legal battle and “the feeling is frustration.”
The source continued, adding, “There’s a sense of, ‘Why am I being dragged into this?’ It’s created unnecessary stress and irritation, and people feel like it’s become a black hole.”

“Even those who have nothing to do with it are worried about getting mentioned or dragged into public speculation,” the source said.
“People in Hollywood have been distancing themselves from Blake and Ryan,” an additional source said. “Even close friends of theirs have been keeping their heads down and staying neutral.”
Taylor Swift’s Popularity Takes Massive Hit Following Involvement In Lively And Baldoni’s Drama
In a recent YouGov poll, per NewsNation, the singer’s popularity rating stood at 46.7% as of January 5, which is a 9% drop from 55.4% a year ago.
Additionally, the percentage of those who view Swift unfavorably rose from 23.5% to 29.2% over the same period. This is the highest level of disapproval for Swift since October 2020.
“They are not invited. Period,” one insider said of Lively and Reynolds, according to the #ShutterScoop. “Taylor wants a drama-free day, and she no longer trusts Blake or Ryan.”
“There’s no ‘will she or won’t she,’” another insider said, adding, “She won’t.”
