Anya Taylor-Joy’s New Apple TV Crime Thriller Turns a Truck Stop Into a Battleground in Epic Trailer

Published

on

lucky-poster.jpg

Anya Taylor-Joy is quickly becoming one of Apple TV’s most valuable stars. After leading The Gorge alongside Miles Teller, a sci-fi thriller that became Apple TV’s biggest movie launch ever, the actress with the most fascinating multicultural background is already lining up her next major project for the streamer. This time around, there’s no monsters or snipers or a terrifying abyss with nothing in it but suffering — probably for the best — because she’s trading it for a con artist thriller with a pretty sweet cast. And now we know when we’ll get to see it, and what we can expect when we do.

Apple TV has just unveiled the very slick trailer for Lucky, the exciting new seven-episode limited series starring and executive produced by Taylor-Joy. The series will premiere globally on Apple TV with its first two episodes on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through August 19.

The series is based on the New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, written by Marissa Stapley, and follows a con artist whose latest job lands her in a bit of a pickle when a multimillion dollar heist goes terribly wrong. Lucky goes on the run but, with the FBI and a pretty ticked off crime boss closing in on her, she’s got to confront her demons and find a way out before her mistakes catch up to her.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Who’s Involved in ‘Lucky’?

Alongside ATJ, the cast includes Annette Bening (Nyad), Timothy Olyphant (Justified), Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor (King Richard), Drew Starkey (Outer Banks), Clifton Collins Jr.(Capote), and William Fichtner (The Dark Knight). The series comes from the prolific creator Jonathan Tropperwho also created Your Friends & Neighbors, another Apple TV sensation with Jon Hamm, and who has written the next Star Wars movie, Starfighter — who also serves as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer through his Tropper Ink banner under his overall deal with Apple TV.

Cassie Pappas executive produces and serves as co-showrunner alongside Tropper. Reese Witherspoon — who made the novel one of her Reese’s Book Club standouts — and Lauren Neustadter executive produce for Hello Sunshine, while Taylor-Joy executive produces through her production banner, LadyKiller. Jonathan van Tulleken, who directed the pilot, also executive produces.

Lucky premieres July 15, 2026 on Apple TV. Check out the trailer above, and stay tuned to Collider for all the latest news and updates.

Surreal and Terrifying Found Footage Has The Secret Sauce, But Will Steal Your Humanity

Surreal and Terrifying Found Footage Has The Secret Sauce, But Will Steal Your Humanity

By Robert Scucci
| Updated

I was recently blown away by Buffet Infinity (2025), and in order to fully explain why, I have to reveal something about my upbringing. I was born in 1988 and grew up when cable TV was filled with late-night paid programming and low-budget commercials from local businesses. When I was a functional adult and Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul were making their rounds, I’d laugh at Saul Goodman’s commercials not only because they were ridiculous, but because I remembered watching those fever-dream productions while dozing off on the couch when I was younger.

I know that Yankee Discount Muffler is the best in town, and I know that J.G. Wentworth can get you cash right now if you need it. When Ron Popeil enthusiastically said, “But wait, there’s more!” I braced myself for impact. I know that Mozzimo’s Pizza “doesn’t have any cows, so they buy their cheese!” As a millennial on the wrong side of his 30s, I sometimes seek out these commercials on YouTube because they’re so bonkers yet so direct.

Buffet Infinity 2025

There’s also a nostalgia factor because, back in the day, advertisements didn’t beat around the bush. These days, you follow a content creator you like, only to learn that their primary goal in life was landing a collab with Chili’s so they can exploit an established parasocial relationship for clicks and dollars.

Buffet Infinity aggressively harkens back to the good old days, when the commercial volume was about 100 decibels louder than whatever program you fell asleep watching. It’s welcoming but jarring, then quickly pivots into surreal and terrifying worldbuilding as an endless block of commercials from a forgotten time begin overlapping, telling you what’s truly at stake.

100 Minutes Of Commercials

Buffet Infinity 2025

If you’re going to watch Buffet Infinity, be sure you’re ready for it, because it’s a lot to take in. We learn about the titular Buffet Infinity restaurant, located at the Crossroads Shopping Complex, which seemingly appeared out of nowhere and offers cut-rate prices for an endless amount of unwholesome gastronomy.

The commercials don’t stop there. In fact, they never stop. Between Buffet Infinity ad spots, we’re introduced to Mosley Rosin & Associates, who deal with emotional trauma and can be reached at 1-800-555-PAIN, Mattress Mattress Surplus, Babbacock Insurance, infomercials for an antidepressant called Xentophylon that take plenty of cheap shots at the people they’re trying to help, Westbridge Automotive Group (complete with a low-budget superhero mascot), and Ahmed’s Pawn Shop.

Buffet Infinity 2025

At first, Buffet Infinity presents itself like a slice of early-aughts nostalgia, but it quickly devolves into an oppressively surreal analog horror experience. Through news bumpers, we learn about a growing sinkhole behind the Crossroads Shopping Complex that everybody seems aware of, yet officials simply tell people to park in the front of the building to avoid it. Buffet Infinity keeps expanding exponentially, which endlessly frustrates Jenny Avery, owner-operator of Jenny’s Sandwiches Inc. She’s something of a local celebrity thanks to her recipe for The Avery Family Secret Sauce (she’s got the sauce!), and she isn’t too fond of the new competition.

A Gradual Escalation You Can’t Escape From

As Jenny passive-aggressively takes shots at Buffet Infinity for making a cheap imitation of her sauce and threatening her livelihood, scores of people begin to go missing, including Jenny herself. Meanwhile, the Buffet Infinity bumpers keep rolling, making fun of how easy the sauce was to replicate and how she claims it’s an Italian recipe even though it’s basically just ketchup. Ahmed desperately tries to keep his pawn shop in business, while the spokesperson for Babbacock Insurance experiences escalations of her own in the form of repeated maimings and even familiacide so she can collect on her various policies.

Buffet Infinity 2025

What starts as a simple series of unrelated commercials quickly turns into a community of business owners in distress. Buffet Infinity now has a play place, serves oysters, and positions itself as a luxury destination, but ceremonial walls are also being erected to honor all the people who have disappeared since the restaurant first appeared. As society continues to fall apart, you’re met with unnervingly intrusive ad spots from the Westbridge Society for Religious Freedom, a death cult of sorts that doesn’t tell you much other than “ITS WATCHING.”

As horrifying as it all is, Buffet Infinity is extremely effective at getting its point across. It’s straight-up brain rot with an early-aughts vibe, and it robs you of gratification every step of the way. Every time somebody is about to reveal something substantial enough to explain what’s truly going on, the film smash-cuts to yet another commercial, and the cycle continues with no relief in sight.

Buffet Infinity 2025

It’s also a stark criticism of consumerism and what happens when there’s clearly a crisis unfolding in your community. It’s the late-night Fox 61 (that was on channel 21) commercials that make absolutely no sense when you’re dozing off, fully aware that you should just turn the TV off. It’s small business owners recognizing that something horribly wrong is happening, but still having to open tomorrow and figure out how to stay operational while some all-knowing, ever-growing evil entity slowly strips their community of its humanity.

Buffet Infinity is surreal, upsetting, and at times downright horrifying. But it does all of the above with a wink and a nod, as if to remind you that this is all just a bad dream. It makes you long for the pre-streaming era, while simultaneously making you grateful that you don’t have to wake up halfway through a three-hour block of paid programming that seems determined to wear down your will and kill you.

Buffet Infinity 2025

As of this writing, Buffet Infinity isn’t available to stream on any of the major platforms, but you can rent or purchase it on demand through YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+.

Prince Harry ‘Hurt’ By Royal Wedding Snub, Blames William: report

Published

on

Prince Harry at Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, day 9, Vancouver, Canada - 16 Feb 2025

Prince Harry’s reported exclusion from cousin Peter Phillips’ upcoming wedding has sparked renewed attention on ongoing tensions within the royal family.

Insiders claim the Duke of Sussex believes Prince William may have influenced the decision, deepening existing divisions between the brothers.

Royal commentators suggest the guest list reflects strained relationships and a desire to avoid overshadowing the ceremony with family drama involving Prince Harry.

Prince Harry will reportedly not be on the guest list for cousin Peter Phillips’ upcoming wedding to Harriet Sperling, with royal insiders suggesting the decision reflects strained family dynamics and long-standing divisions within the royal household.

Royal commentator Emily Nash told Page Six that the exclusion appears to stem from a gradual cooling of relations between Harry and Phillips, noting that the two have reportedly not been in close contact for several years.

She added that Phillips is understood to be particularly close to the Prince of Wales, Prince William, and is highly protective of that relationship.

According to Nash, Phillips has long acted as a steady presence within the wider royal family, even serving as a calming figure during moments of tension, including Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021, when he was positioned between Harry and William.

She suggested that ongoing family disagreements, combined with Harry’s public revelations in his memoir “Spare” and Netflix documentary, may have further deepened the distance.

She also argued that keeping Harry off the guest list may help prevent the wedding from being overshadowed by royal drama, allowing the focus to remain on the couple’s celebration.

Senior royals, including William and Princess Kate, are expected to attend the June 6 ceremony, with King Charles also likely to make an appearance.

Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall are also expected, alongside several members of the extended family, in m what Nash described as a more modern and blended royal gathering.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will likely be present at the wedding, marking a notable appearance amid continued scrutiny of their father, Prince Andrew.

Nash suggested their presence could signal that they still hold a place within the wider family, though she emphasized that the event remains a private family occasion rather than an official royal engagement.

“It will kind of show that there is still a place for them within the family,” Nash said of their attendance, adding, “I think it’s going to be fascinating to see how they interact with other members of the family,” she said. However, their mother, Sarah Ferguson, is not expected to attend.

Meanwhile, Harry reportedly believes William may have influenced his exclusion from the wedding, according to insider claims.

A source told The Examiner that the Duke of Sussex sees William’s close relationship with Phillips as a possible factor, suggesting he would not have been left off the guest list without external pressure.

The insider alleged that Harry feels William has “pressured Peter to take sides,” adding that he had expected an invitation given their family ties.

Harry and Phillips have shared key moments over the years, including Phillips attending Harry’s 2018 wedding to Meghan Markle, as well as Harry’s presence at Phillips’ 2008 wedding to Autumn Kelly.

The royal source who spoke to The Examiner further claimed that Harry views the situation as part of a broader pattern of family estrangement.

However, the Duke of Sussex reportedly does not place all the blame on his cousin, Phillips, due to William’s influence when it comes to royal matters.

Harry is said to be “hurt” by the perceived snub but still understands Phillips’ position within the family dynamic.

“He knows what a bully William can be and how he likes to throw his weight around,” the insider added.

Meghan Markle Prioritizes Business Growth Amid Ongoing Royal Tensions, Says Author

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle is reportedly focusing on her own professional direction, with sources saying she is prioritizing her business ventures over ongoing royal-related controversies involving Harry.

Royal author Duncan Larcombe told The Mirror that Meghan is increasingly separating her brand-building efforts from the public narrative surrounding her husband.

His comments come amid renewed reports of Harry’s exclusion from royal events, including Phillips’ upcoming wedding.

Larcombe claimed that Meghan is concentrating on developing her lifestyle brand, As Ever, and shaping a more controlled, aspirational public image.

He suggested that while Harry remains frequently tied to royal disputes in the media, Meghan is working to distance herself from that narrative and maintain focus on her business ventures.

The author also alleged that the As Ever founder sees public appearances as part of a broader branding strategy, while “determined” and “focused” on carving out an independent path as a businesswoman, aiming to build a career that stands apart from ongoing royal drama.

Taylor Sheridan’s Binge-Worthy Answer to ‘The Wire’ Gets Perfect Season 5 Update

Published

on

mayor-of-kingstown-poster.jpg

2026 has been a strong year for Taylor Sheridan, but fans of the Western writer have come to expect this by now. Sheridan kicked things off in 2026 with the Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals, which follows Kayce Dutton (played by Luke Grimes) now that he’s left ranch life behind to become a U.S. Marshal. After the debut of Marshals came The Madison, which features big-time talent like Kurt Russell and Michelle Pfeiffer. Sheridan recently brought fans back to the Yellowstone universe for the latest spin-off, Dutton Ranch, which follows Rip (played by Cole Hauser) and Beth (played by Kelly Reilly) after the events of the series finale. Sheridan has had plenty going on so far this year, but things are only going to get busier for the Yellowstone creator as we inch closer to the end of the year.

Tied for Sheridan’s longest-running show in history with five seasons is Mayor of Kingstown, the gritty crime saga led by Jeremy Renner. Sheridan and Renner previously worked together on the epic neo-Western, Wind River, which also stars Elizabeth Olsen. Paramount has renewed Mayor of Kingstown for a fifth and final season, and over the weekend, Jeremy Renner took to his personal Instagram to reveal that filming on the Sheridan-written series is also complete. While not officially confirmed, it’s heavily speculated that Mayor of Kingstown Season 5 will likely begin streaming before the end of the year. Mayor of Kingstown may not be on the same level of popularity as some of Sheridan’s other shows, like Yellowstone (starring Kevin Costner) or Landman (starring Billy Bob Thornton), but the series has acquired a dedicated audience over the years who are counting on Sheridan to deliver a worthy ending with Season 5.

Mayor of Kingstown

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.

You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

You are a Dwight Manfredi — someone who has served their time, paid their dues, and arrived somewhere unexpected with nothing but their reputation and their wits. You adapt without losing yourself. You build loyalty through respect rather than fear, though you’re not above reminding people that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Tulsa King is for people who are still standing when everyone assumed they’d be finished — who find, in an unfamiliar place, that they’re more capable than the world gave them credit for. You don’t need a throne. You build one, wherever you happen to land.

You carry the weight of a system that is broken by design, and you do it anyway — because someone has to, and because you’re the only one positioned to do it without the whole thing collapsing. Mike McLusky’s world is for people who are comfortable operating where there are no good options, only less catastrophic ones. You speak every language: law enforcement, criminal, political, human. That fluency makes you invaluable and it makes you a target. You’ve made your peace with both. Mayor of Kingstown belongs to people who understand that keeping the peace is not the same as being at peace — and who do the job regardless.

What Is ‘Mayor of Kingstown’ About?

The official synopsis for Mayor of Kingstown, which also stars The Sopranos veteran Edie Falco, reads as follows:

“In a Michigan town where incarceration drives the local economy, fixer Mike McLusky navigates the fragile balance between law enforcement, prison gangs, inmates, and politicians. As tensions escalate and violence erupts, he struggles to maintain order in a community where power, justice, and survival are constantly at odds.”

Mayor of Kingstown holds a 64% score from critics and an 84% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, solidifying it as another Sheridan fan favorite. In addition to starring in the series as Ian Ferguson, Hugh Dillon also writes and executive produces the show with Sheridan. Mayor of Kingstown is perfect for fans of The Wire who enjoy themes of institutionalized corruption.

Rapper’s Team Reacts Amid Sauce Walka’s Threats

Published

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

When Sauce Walka and Drake find their names in the same sentence these days, it’s not about a collaboration. Leaked audio and online chatter are sending social media into a frenzy. Let’s just say both names got dragged into a messy back-and-forth involving an ex and some serious claims. And Drake’s team doesn’t seem too pressed.

RELATED: Whew, Chile! Kiley Lossen Speaks Out After Sauce Walka Goes Viral For Threatening To “Get Drake Smoked” In Leaked Audio (EXCLUSIVE)

Sauce Walka Takes Shots At Drake In New Track

Sauce Walka addressed the viral rumors after alleged voice notes surfaced online. In one audio clip, he appears to make threatening remarks referencing Drake. In a response video, the rapper pushed back against the narrative circulating online. Walka even insisted the situation was being twisted and clarified that his anger wasn’t actually about Drake. “The threat was never about the p***y,” he said, instead directing his frustration at podcast host Adam22. Walka accused Adam22 of speaking on his “son” during a recent ‘No Jumper’ episode. He downplayed the overall situation as internet distortion while still maintaining that certain lines had been crossed. And in a recent caption, Sauce Walka claimed:

“I don’t start sh*t I finish it‼️The grease was about [Adam22] speaking on the business from buddy gossiping…on no jumper bout my “SON“ never about the 🐱..Buddy been making ‘Tender Songs’ about me for 4-5 albums y’all was just sleep.. 😴 I kept it secret for the PAPER.. this my 5th girlfriend to brake the owl 🦉 since way back in club TREASURES.. ask about me ooowwweee see yal tomorrow “

Comment Section Said “Wrap It Up” On This One

Drake haters and supporters alike flooded The Shade Room’s Instagram comments after the audio surfaced, instantly running the post up with reactions. Some users joked that Drake’s ongoing beefs need to be “studied” at this point. Meanwhile, others zeroed in on Sauce Walka, questioning why he appeared to be holding a baby seat in one of the clips. And, a chunk of the comment section simply called the entire situation “mid,” saying the internet had seen better drama.

This Instagram user @_kyngra claimed, “He need more friends around him, cause this would’ve never left the studio if he was my friend lmao

Finally, Instagram user @jay_the_great.12 shared, “The Drake effect needs a course at Harvard 😂😂😂🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️”

Chubbs Laughs Off Sauce Walka Drama

Drake’s longtime associate Chubbs appears to have weighed in on the Sauce Walka controversy after alleged audio surfaced online containing threats toward the Toronto rapper. And, he didn’t seem remotely pressed. A screenshot making rounds showed Chubbs dropping three laughing emojis under a @keep6ixsolid post about the claims. He shared a blunt “N***a ain’t gone do nothing.” And, basically brushing the whole thing off like it’s not even worth the discussion.

ICYMI, the controversy stems from leaked phone calls allegedly between Sauce Walka and his ex, Kiley Losson, in which he can be heard making explosive statements about Drake, including claims that he would “get Drake’s car shot at” and warning that the rapper should “realize who… I am.” Kiley later confirmed she was the one who released the recordings, telling The Shade Room she felt pushed to speak out after dealing with what she described as intimidation and silence. She added that although she and Drake were previously involved, online narratives have misrepresented the situation. And, she stressed that this is not the issue she is actually addressing.

The Best Zombie Franchise Ever Will Return Despite the 2026 Sequel’s Box Office Disapointment

Published

on

28-years-later_-the-bone-temple-poster.jpg

The zombie genre has seen a big resurgence in recent years with shows and movies, like The Last of Us, The Walking Dead, Army of the Dead, among others. The genre also got one of its iconic filmmakers back as Danny Boyle returned to the director’s chair for a new 28 Years Later franchise. While the fan favorite director reinvented the genre with the Cillian Murphy-starring 28 Days Later, decades later, he and writer Alex Garland haven’t lost touch.

Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer, 28 Years Later, directed by Boyle, softly rebooted the franchise with new characters in the same world. The feature marks the first in a new post-apocalyptic horror trilogy. It was overall a succesful reboot, earning $151.3 million on a $60 million budget. The coming-of-age story follows Spike (Alfie Williams) and his parents as they navigate this virus-infested world. The story struck a nerve with the audience and garnered a great reception.

It was followed by 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, prominently starring Ralph Fiennes, that can be easily deemed one of the best horror movies of the decade. The feature was directed by Nia DaCosta, who brought a very humane touch to how we see zombies in cinema. Sadly, the movie didn’t bring enough viewers to theaters, but since its streaming release, it is topping various charts. The box office failure of the movie had cast some doubt over the planned threequel. However, Boyle recently put the doubts to rest by giving a massive production update.

Camp Crystal Lake · Friday the 13th

Jason Voorhees

Jason is relentless, but he is also predictable — and that is the gap you would exploit.

  • He moves in straight lines toward his target. He doesn’t strategise, doesn’t adapt, doesn’t outsmart. He simply pursues.
  • Your ability to keep moving, use the environment, and resist the panic that freezes most victims gives you a genuine edge.
  • The Crystal Lake survivors were always the ones who stopped running in circles and started thinking about terrain, water, and distance.
  • You think like that. Which means Jason, for all his indestructibility, would face someone who simply refused to be where he expected.

Haddonfield, Illinois · Halloween

Michael Myers

Michael watches before he moves. He is patient, methodical, and almost impossible to detect — until it’s too late for anyone who isn’t paying close enough attention.

  • But you are paying attention. You notice the shape in the window, the car parked slightly wrong, the silence where there should be sound.
  • Michael’s power lies in the invisibility of ordinary suburbia — the fact that nothing ever looks wrong until it already is.
  • Your spatial awareness and instinct to map every room, every exit, and every shadow before you need them is precisely the quality Laurie Strode had.
  • You are not a victim waiting to happen. You are someone who already suspects something is wrong — and acts on it.

Elm Street · A Nightmare on Elm Street

Freddy Krueger

Freddy wins by getting inside your head — using your own fears, your own memories, your own subconscious as weapons against you. That strategy requires a target who can be destabilised.

  • You are harder to destabilise than most. You’ve faced uncomfortable truths about yourself and you haven’t looked away.
  • The survivors on Elm Street were always the ones who understood what was happening and chose to face it rather than flee from it.
  • Freddy’s greatest weakness is that his power evaporates in the presence of someone who refuses to give him the fear he feeds on.
  • Your psychological resilience — the ability to stay grounded when reality itself becomes unreliable — is exactly the quality that keeps you alive here.

Derry, Maine · It

Pennywise

Pennywise is ancient, shapeshifting, and feeds on terror — but it has one critical vulnerability: it cannot function against someone who genuinely stops being afraid of it.

  • The Losers Club didn’t survive because they were braver than everyone else. They survived because they faced their fears together, and faced them honestly.
  • You ask the questions others avoid. You look directly at what frightens you rather than turning away.
  • That directness — the refusal to let fear fester in the dark — is Pennywise’s worst nightmare.
  • It chose the wrong target when it chose you. You are exactly the kind of person whose fear tastes like nothing at all.

Chicago · Child’s Play

Chucky

Chucky’s greatest advantage is that nobody takes him seriously until it’s already too late. He exploits the gap between how something looks and what it actually is.

  • You don’t have that gap. You take threats seriously regardless of how they present — and you never make the mistake of underestimating something because of its size or appearance.
  • Chucky relies on surprise, on the delay between recognition and response. You close that delay faster than almost anyone.
  • Your instinct to treat every unfamiliar thing with appropriate scepticism — rather than dismissing it because it seems absurd — is the exact quality that keeps you breathing.
  • Against Chucky, not laughing is already winning. You are very good at not laughing.

‘28 Years Later: The Bone Temple 2’ Will Film Next Year

The filming of the third installment hasn’t begun because “We ran out of time,” Boyle recently told Joblo, in a new conversation. The third installment will see Spike navigating even more evil, and the last feature teased the return of Murphy’s Jim. Fans are eager to see how Jim will factor in Spike’s journey. Bole further explained the reason for the delay and teased Garland’s “wonderful” script:

“Because it’s set in an area of Britain [where] you can only film at certain times of the year. We ran out of time this year – we literally ran out of time… So it’ll be, hopefully, fingers crossed, next year. But there’s the enthusiasm there, and Alex (Garland) has done a wonderful script for it.”

Meanwhile, 28 Years Later and its follow-up, The Bone Temple, are streaming on Netflix. Stay tuned to Collider for more such updates.

Bold and the Beautiful Early Spoilers June 8-12: Katie Goes Ballistic & Electra Torn Apart!

Published

on

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Logan (Heather Tom) - Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace)

Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for June 8-12, 2026 stun as Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is absolutely losing it on her sister over the firing and disrespect shown to her son.

Plus, Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) has to deal with R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) pressuring her and tearing her apart with stress. Now let’s get into all the good stuff for the week of June 8th.

And as always on early edition day, let’s start with what happens the rest of this week and then we’ll get into what is ahead for next week.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Wednesday, June 3rd: Hope Stunned

On Wednesday, June 3rd, we’ve got Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) taken by surprise when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) shows up at the Logan Mansion. And out of left field, he’s trying to reconnect with her. Remember the things that he called her during the coup, the b-words and that everybody hated her.

And at this point, I think Hope may be paranoid because she just crept up the back way into the Spencer Tower and is now back at her mom’s kind of trying to cover. Of course, that was the only way to bring her brother Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) in to introduce him to the team. So, Hope’s obviously over the moon to be working with Deacon and working with Katie and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

B&B Spoilers: Hope Digs in Her Heels

So, there’s no way that Ridge is going to get through to her, although I imagine that he may ask Hope to forget the leave of absence and come back to Forrester Creations now. And I fully expect her to blame Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for her exit. And I do wonder if Hope is going to have some things to say to Ridge about disrespecting her mom, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), by not making her co-CEO. If Ridge says he couldn’t ask Steffy to step aside, then Hope may unload about her frustrations with Steffy. And in the end, Ridge can tell Brooke that he tried, but he got nowhere.

Things only get more intense in the feud between the Logans and the Forresters as we get deeper into this week. And Electra is stuck right in the middle after Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) made sure to remind R.J. today that he and Electra are living together and kissed her right in front of R.J. before leaving, you know, kind of basically peeing around her to mark territory.

I am certain that R.J. is going to tell Electra that Will’s a bad guy and he’s violent and blah blah blah. I saw in soap social media that some fans are actually team R.J., which surprised me, and others think that both Will and R.J. are bratty little nepo babies, which is not surprising. It’s funny and I think it’s pretty accurate. It looks like Electra is sticking with Will for now, but she also hasn’t officially moved in at his place. So, we’ll wait to see if she taps the brakes.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Thursday, June 4th: Will Wants Revenge

Thursday, June 4th, we’ve got Will sharing a warm moment with his mom, Katie, after having been fired by Ridge and promising revenge on R.J. Looks like Will shuffles over to the Spencer/Logan offices. And of course, he’s going to tell them he was fired. Katie and Bill are both going to be really ticked off. And I do wonder if they immediately tell Will that his cousin Hope is the newest to join team Logan. I’m certain that when he finds out, Will’s going to keep it secret and should be totally on board using Hope to get revenge on the Forresters since he feels like Ridge betrayed him by firing him.

Steffy is going to disagree with Ridge over Forrester Creations business. So, I’m guessing after talking to Hope, we’re going to see Ridge coming back to the office with some questions, possibly some criticism of how Steffy handled Hope. I expect Ridge is the reason that Steffy winds up over at the Logan Mansion by the end of the week.

Bold Spoilers: Katie Rips Brooke a New One

An angry Katie heads over to Forrester Creations to blast Brooke and Ridge over Will’s termination also by the end of the week. Electra’s friendship with Miss Dylan (Sydney Bullock) keeps getting stronger and she really needs her bestie. So, she’s there for Electra as she faces the Will versus R.J. mess.

I wonder if Steffy, Brooke, or Ridge may trash talk Will to Electra and make her feel like they don’t approve of her continuing to be with Will because remember Brooke was all about, oh, R.J.’s the better man. R.J.’s the one Electra deserves. So, we’ll see if Brooke’s back to that and you know, destiny and blah blah. So, Dylan’s going to be there for Electra. She’s very supportive and we know that she is team Will over team R.J. in terms of who Electra should be with. We’ve seen Dylan having pretty good reads on R.J.’s manipulation and motives, and I like that.

B&B Spoilers Friday, June 5th: Steffy Approaches Hope

Friday, June 5th, we’re gonna see Steffy head over to Brooke’s place to see Hope, and they talk about Katie and about Logan. And Hope’s annoyed at Steffy’s dismissal of Katie and her company. Hope asked Steffy if she thinks Katie and Logan will just disappear. And Steffy replies she doesn’t see any hope for them at all. Funny word play on Bold and the Beautiful.

So, Steffy and Hope are going to get into it, but she’s not going to back down while talking to Steffy about leaving Forrester Creations for this leave of absence allegedly. And I’m sure that Hope’s going to tell Steffy she knows that she will never have her respect and her line will always be at risk.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Gets Suspicious

So, Hope’s taking time away, but she doesn’t really have a great excuse. We’ll see if she has a good cover story prepared. I also think that the reason Steffy goes to see Hope is because Ridge asked her to play nice. But then things take a turn and Steffy starts getting suspicious of why Hope is actually taking this leave of absence and whether it’s legit. It may get harder for her to creep over to Logan to work with Deacon if Steffy’s keeping an eye.

It’s a Brooke versus Katie showdown at Forrester Creations on Friday. Brooke is prodding Katie about who’s going to lead her next line, and she goes off on Brooke, likely about Will’s firing and all the disrespect that Forrester Creations shows for its employees. Katie was just talking about how Logan is better than them for this reason in particular.

Meanwhile, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) is carefully considering joining the Spencer/Logan family business. Not only does Bill want Wyatt to get them the Hope for the Future diamond for Hope’s launch, but Bill also wants both Will and Wyatt in the family business so that all his boys are working there with him and Katie.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Logan (Heather Tom) - Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace)Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Logan (Heather Tom) - Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace)
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Logan – Electra Forrester

Week of June 8th-12th on Bold and Beautiful: Shauna’s Agenda & Wyatts Decision

And then the week of June 8th through the 12th, we’re going to learn more about Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) agenda and why Wyatt really brought her along to LA. The story about him needing Shauna to give him a ride from Vegas to LA seems bogus to me because obviously Wyatt could have rented a car or hopped a flight. So, I think there is more that is going to unravel.

Deke is looking forward to getting started collaborating with Hope over at Logan. And I can’t wait to see Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) reaction to Hope and Deacon working together again. I’m guessing we’re going to see them hiding when people stop by the offices unexpectedly. And since Deacon has to quit Il Giardino, I’m sure they’re going to have to tell Deacon what is going on.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Donna Torn Apart

As it stands, Brooke and Katie’s relationship may be permanently damaged because of the Will and R.J. drama. And once the Hope reveal comes out, that will ice the cake with the sisters. Brooke wants Hope to come back to Forrester Creations, but she’s not going to cave no matter what anybody says. I think we could see Will getting worked up knowing that R.J. is going to be macking on Electra at Forrester Creations constantly while Will is not there to keep an eye on her.

Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) is going to be struggling to also keep Hope’s secret. So, we’ll see if she caves and spills maybe to Eric or somebody. She’s kind of afraid of Brooke, so that could be a factor. And I do wonder if Hope circles back around to update Donna on hiring Deke and everything being great at Logan. And we should find out Wyatt and Will’s decisions on whether they will come aboard officially at Logan and also Wyatt’s progress on the big blue diamond that Bill wants for Hope’s launch.

Young and Restless Early Spoilers June 8-12: Victor Furious at Nick & Major Crossover!

Published

on

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) - Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)

Young and the Restless spoilers for June 8-12, 2026 see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) furious with his son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), because he’s again going behind his dad’s back, cutting deals, and the latest one could actually put Victor at risk of criminal charges.

Plus, we’ve got more on Matt Clark‘s (Roger Howarth) fate, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) facing consequences, and of course, Nick still stuck spiraling in addiction. We’ve got your exciting new spoilers for the week of June 8th, and as we always do on early edition day, we start with what’s happening the rest of this week and then we get into what is ahead next week.

Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, June 3rd: Claire Supports Holden

All right, let’s do this. So, on Wednesday, June 3rd, we are going to have Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) catching up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), talking about her trip to New York City and Victoria is asking about Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Claire and she says that everything’s going well for them. She went sightseeing with Holden, but also and more importantly, the transplant for Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) went successfully.

Claire tells her that Holden is still keeping a secret about Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), but Claire has decided not to make a big deal out of it. She doesn’t want to be vindictive and obsessive like her aunt Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk). Holden shows up and Victoria takes off and Claire’s hugging Holden who seems to need it.

He says Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) took a swipe at him and Claire says that she understands struggling with bad first impressions with family because the same thing happened to her when she came to Genoa City. But then again, you know, Claire tried to kill her whole family. At least Holden hasn’t done that.

Y&R Spoilers: Lily Claps Back at Devon

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is with Devon when Holden updates her that Malcolm is doing better. Lily steps away for a call and Devon’s rude to Holden, saying that their family’s not a meal ticket just because he’s Lily’s brother. Holden promises to prove himself and he tells Devon he appreciates him being direct, but Holden also reminds him that the Malcolm and Lily stuff was sprung on him.

It wasn’t anything Holden did or created. He exits and Lily is annoyed with Devon for hassling her brother and he tells Lily that Holden’s not worth it. And Lily says, “Stop lashing out.” Devon calls her decision-making into question and Lily claps back that she forgave Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and wants Holden in her life and says Devon’s just mad at the world and Lily is very worried about him.

Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) tells Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) that the new Shadow Room gives her bad vibes. The reminder of Matt is problematic and Noah apologizes for triggering her and Sienna says they need to focus on Matt and then Noah talks about thinking Matt might be faking but Sienna doesn’t think so.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Horrified by Nick

Nick threatens Phyllis with the cops and says, “return Newman or else.” She thinks it’s the drugs talking and says watching Nick die changed her and she doesn’t understand why it didn’t change Nick. Now, he appreciates Phyllis saving him, but Nick insists he is trying to protect her. However, he’s playing hard ball. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) shows up and asks about Nick being in the hospital.

And then he gets mad that Phyllis told Michael, but she clarifies she told her best friend Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) that he died on the floor in her office, which makes sense. Nick says to give Newman back by the end of the day or else. And Phyllis tells Michael that Nick’s planning to lie to the cops to get her in trouble. And Nick tells Michael if she gives Newman back, he’ll get the charges dropped.

But Michael doubts that Nick can influence Victor or Christine Williams Romalotti (Lauralee Bell). But Nick promises that he will tell Christine the evidence was faked. And Michael says that could land Victor in trouble. Nick vows to take care of it and then he walks out and Phyllis talks about helping save Nick’s life and now he’s betraying her, but Phyllis admits she may have to give Newman back.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Stephanie’s Sticking Around GC

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) runs into Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) who tells him Malcolm’s doing great and she is hoping that Holden and Malcolm are going to get the chance to know each other and Stephanie says she’s deciding about staying in Genoa City for good or not.

She tells Nate that the Genoa City Hospital asked her to be chief of medicine. And Nate says he’s the one who suggested Stephanie. They had offered the job to him, but he doesn’t want to go back into medicine. Stephanie is interested in the job and thinks that staying in Genoa City to make things right with Holden is the best approach.

Nick tells Victor he hasn’t gone to the rehab place yet. And Victor tells him that Matt shows remorse and Nick wonders if it’s genuine. Victor says time will tell. Nick says he told Christine if she drops the charges on Phyllis they will hand over Matt. Victor is shocked and does not approve. Nick says it’s the best way. They need to focus on Newman and not revenge. And he reminds Victor that Phyllis saved his life and Nick says he does not want her in prison.

Victor wants Newman back and Nick says he told Phyllis to hand it over or he will implicate her to the cops. And then he shocks Victor yet again. Nick says he is going to give Christine proof the emails are fake to make sure the charges are dropped on Phyllis. And Victor’s upset about Nick going behind his back again. And Victor doesn’t want him telling Christine the evidence is fake. Of course, because that could get Victor and Victoria both in trouble.

Thursday, June 4th on Y&R: Victor Newman’s Victorious

Then on Thursday, June 4th, Victor declares himself the winner. So it looks like Phyllis caved and she gave Newman back to Victor. That’s why Phyllis is pleading with Michael to help exonerate her and get the charges dropped. We’ve also got new scenes with Christine this week. So, Victor or Nick might tell her to drop the charges. You know, we’ll see. I know that Christine might not listen because she would love to see Phyllis behind bars. So, we also may see Christine meeting with Michael and Phyllis.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) health issues have Victoria worried. Nikki tells Vicki that her headaches aren’t new and her neurologist will probably say the migraines are just an MS symptom and she’s on meds for that. Victoria is worried it’s something different and more serious. And yep, it is. Nikki has a major health crisis coming.

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) - Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) - Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman – Nick Newman

Friday, June 5th on Bold and the Beautiful: Victor Keeps His Word

On Friday, June 5th, Victor comes through on a promise. I suspect he gives Chancellor to Lily. So, surprisingly, Victor might actually honor their deal after Phyllis gives Newman back to him. Audra and Holden confront their past, and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) surprises Phyllis by giving her the benefit of the doubt. Also this week, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is thrown for a loop when Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) asks her if she thought about having another baby since Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) is so great. Of course, Adam has never brought up another baby before. So, Chelsea is going to realize that Adam’s bringing it up because of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) pregnancy.

Week of June 8th-12th on Young and Restless

Then the week of June 8th through the 12th, there’s a huge crossover coming with several Young and the Restless characters heading over to Beyond the Gates. So if you’re not watching the show and want to give it a try, look for June 9th through the 12th. There are three crossover episodes. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) go with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to a fundraiser. It’s an event for his friend who’s running for reelection to Congress. And that means that Diane is safe and sound and found and more importantly reconciled with Jack and we’ll also find out if Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) took her. Victor is also at the fundraiser, but Nikki is not with hi m. Devon and Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway) go along because Devon needs to talk business with somebody.

Back in Genoa City, Cane and Lily’s bond deepens as they join forces to stop Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) from trying to get something he wants after he finds out a secret. I’m thinking it’s about Chancellor and it may cause problems for him and Sally.

Nikki’s health worsens. There’s a major crisis coming for her. And this will be the thing that starts the Victor and Nikki reconciliation process at long last. Nick’s journey to getting clean is not going to be easy. Lots of speed bumps ahead. And we’ll find out more about Matt Clark’s fate, whether he’s going to be arrested and face trial or if he’s going to get the charges dropped and an unlikely shot at redemption, which is what I expect.
