Aren’t we all super attached to our black leggings? It’s at the point where we forget that other color options exist, but Jessica Alba may have just convinced Us to try something new. The actress recently stepped out in an unexpected hue that could still be considered a neutral, and it’s ideal for the upcoming fall season.
Alba was spotted in New York City wearing a matching olive green set. While we love the high-waisted leggings and sports bra together, we can form so many looks with just the bottom half. When you’re ready to give your black leggings a break, try the Colorfulkoala Dreamlux High-Waisted Leggings, which are super similar to Alba’s pick.

Like Alba’s pair, the Colorfulkoala option comes in an olive green hue — and actually, the shade is almost an exact match. However, the same style also comes in black (if you can’t bear to break old habits), as well as various browns, gray, dark red, purple and more. It’s the green option, though, that might be the most fun of the bunch, and just like your current go-to, still works with a wide range of tops.
Available in sizes XXS to XXL, these Amazon leggings were designed to provide tummy control without leaving you feeling uncomfortable. Plus, they come in 25- and 28-inch inseams, so you can get the optimal fit. And don’t even get us started on the Dreamlux fabric, which is super soft and moisture-wicking!
Amazon shoppers can’t stop raving about how good these leggings are, claiming they rival high-end options that cost three times more.
“I have been on the search for the perfect pair of leggings — ones I can wear to yoga/pilates without constantly pulling them up,” one five-star reviewer wrote. “I am amazed how perfect these leggings are.”
“These are my new favorites. I have them in several colors, and they’ve become my go-to for not only yoga but running errands, lounging at home and even going out,” said a verified purchaser. “They’re comfortable, versatile and sleek. I love the soft fabric and that they compress without squeezing anywhere.”
As much as we love our tried-and-true, basic black leggings, Alba’s look is the encouragement we need to venture outside our comfort zone. This ready-for-fall hue works year-round, so don’t delay — make the swap!

Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day made history this past weekend with a record-breaking performance at the box office. The movie delivered the biggest opening-weekend haul in domestic box office history, beating Avengers: Endgame’s seemingly unbeatable record from 2019. Globally, it delivered the second-biggest debut of all time and has already hit the coveted $1 billion mark. In less than one week of release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has outgrossed some of the biggest superhero movies of all time, including Spider-Man: Homecoming, which marked Tom Holland’s solo debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks Holland’s fourth solo outing as the fan-favorite superhero. The new movie also brings back Zendaya and Jacob Batalon as M.J. and Ned, with Jon Bernthal and Sadie Sink joining the cast for the first time. Spider-Man: Brand New Day has no doubt been aided at the box office by a terrific reception; it holds a “Certified Fresh” 89% critics’ score and a “Verified Hot” 98% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. The aggregator website’s consensus reads, “Spinning a web of spectacular set pieces together with mature emotional stakes and Tom Holland’s soulful performance, Brand New Day is a promising reset that portends Spidey will remain sticky on the big screen for years to come.”
With around $940 million worldwide in its opening frame, the movie passed the $1 billion mark on its first Monday in theaters. In doing so, it has overtaken the entire $856 million global haul of Sony’s Spider-Man spin-off film Venom, starring Tom Hardy. The films technically exist in the same timeline, with Hardy even making a cameo appearance at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021. He returned to star as Venom in two sequels — Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Venom: The Last Dance — which each made around $500 million worldwide. Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the first Venom movie was especially huge in China, where it made around $270 million. The movie received negative reviews and is now sitting at a 31% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is in theaters now. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Spider-Man / Peter Parker
One of the biggest films of the summer, Spider-Man: Brand New Day sees Peter Parker starting from scratch after having removed himself from the memories of everyone in the whole world, including those he loves. It’s the fourth solo outing for Tom Holland in the title role, making him the longest-serving Spidey both in terms of years and appearances — and, with a $168 million opening day box office, it might end up becoming the most successful Spider-Man movie of all time.
While he first appeared in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, his finest moment in the suit is surely his initial solo outing in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, which has spent weeks web-crawling up the Netflix charts, where it’s currently the seventh most-popular streaming film. But Spider-Man: Homecoming isn’t just special because it’s Tom Holland’s debut — it is also one of only four Spider-Man movies currently available to watch without a Disney+ subscription. The Tobey Maguire trilogy of Spider-Man films — Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), and Spider-Man 3 (2007) are all streaming on Hulu. Every other film, including Andrew Garfield‘s Amazing Spider-Man films and the rest of Holland’s contributions, are only available with a Disney + subscription.
In a movie that introduced the character for the third time in 15 years, director Jon Watts avoided franchise fatigue by throwing out much of what we thought we knew, and creating a version of Peter Parker that could boldly change the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The first solo outing for Holland’s Spider-Man forgoes the origin story of the character. We don’t see the radioactive spider biting him, the death of Uncle Ben, or a lot of the early stages of his growth as Spider-Man. Instead, we find the 15-year-old dealing with regular high school issues like homework, crushes, and field trips, while balancing life as the hero we recognize, taking on a new threat in the form of Michael Keaton’s Vulture under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr).
This direction sets him apart from the two men who had played the character before.Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker graduates around 40 minutes into his first film, while Andrew Garfield received his diploma in the first moments of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. For both, school was where we found the character when he first developed powers, and tested them out (usually on school bully Flash Thompson). In Homecoming, we spend more time in class, thanks to some help from the past.
This youth-centered approach was helped by Watts drawing inspiration from some of the most beloved teen movies of all time. The work of writer/director John Hughes was instrumental in achieving the film’s tone, so much so that Watts instructed his cast to watch ’80s classics The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Pretty in Pink. The film borrows the sensibilities of that time, giving the trials of the teen years more weight and adding tension to the double life Peter tries to lead. Zendaya’s Michelle, later revealed as MJ, is an homage to Ally Sheedy’s moody Breakfast Club character, Peter’s prom date takes a similar turn to Pretty in Pink, and there’s even a sequence where Peter runs through backyards that is a shot-for-shot remake of a classic moment from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
All of this allows Peter to be a high schooler without resorting to stereotypes. Hughes’ films broke through the ideas of labels like “jock” or “nerd”, and presented characters as complicated individuals whose issues were not glossed over just because they were young. It allowed Peter to develop more organically than his predecessors. For Holland’s Parker, school life wasn’t a training ground as he discovered his powers. It was as much a part of his identity as his life as Spider-Man, making him a relatable young outlier in the largely adult MCU.
Another reworking of the Spider-Man myth involved Tony Stark stepping into Uncle Ben’s shoes as the father figure in Peter’s life. Ben is not prominently featured in the film due to Watts and the film’s producers not wanting to repeat that storyline for a third time. Instead, Stark takes Parker under his wing following his recruitment in Captain America: Civil War. Homecoming provides the grounding of one of the most important relationships in both their lives, as both grapple with responsibility. It leads to some of the best exchanges in the MCU, as Tony tries to teach his apprentice to be “better” than he was. Confiscating his Stark Tech, he tells Peter: “If you’re nothing without this suit, then you shouldn’t have it.”
This set the foundation for some of the most dramatic moments in the MCU. Peter idolizes Tony, while Tony begins to care deeply for this young Avenger. The bond that is sealed here is proven in later tragedy — would Peter being “blipped” at the end of Avengers: Infinity War have been as heartbreaking without Tony’s desperately trying to stop it? Equally, Stark’s sacrifice at the close of Endgame shaped Peter into someone haunted by grief in Far from Home, and forced to manage that pain in No Way Home.
Almost a decade on from its release, Spider-Man: Homecoming endures because it rethought much of what we knew about the character. As he swung into the MCU, Spider-Man wasn’t just an addition to an ensemble, but a fully rounded character ready to lead the world’s biggest franchise into a new era.
Though Tobey Maguire’s original trilogy, directed by Sam Raimi, are sometimes overlooked due to their pre-MCU status, they hold up — both as the summer blockbusters they were, and as reminders of a time when superhero movies required less preparation and supplementary material for viewers to understand them. Peter Parker’s original tangles with the Green Goblin, Dr. Otto Octavius, Venom, and others feature classic practical effects, and some of Raimi’s best direction (especially in Spider-Man 2‘s famous subway train battle).
PK Kemsley’s finances are once again at the center of his divorce battle with estranged wife Dorit Kemsley as they fight over spousal and child support.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 50, filed new documents in their legal case, which included a certified public accountant’s declaration of the music manager’s income and spending habits.
According to the declaration dated July 30 and exclusively obtained by Us, Aaron Garrett, who was hired by Dorit’s legal team, alleged that PK, 58, “borrowed $350,000 in November 2024 which was due to be repaid in November 2025.”
Garrett noted that “based on the documentation received to date, it does not appear that this alleged loan was repaid.” He also stated that PK allegedly has $821,937 in unknown deposits that the British businessman has asserted are loans.

“PK represents that he has received loans in the post-separation period. We have not received documentation reflecting the repayment of these alleged loans,” the documents filed in court on Tuesday, August 4, read. “The other inflows that PK characterizes as ‘loans’ are inbound transfers and deposits received from international and domestic accounts, which we have not received statements for. It is unclear if these funds were received from accounts in PKs name (which he has not disclosed), third parties, or business entities. We further note that PK does not disclose any outstanding obligations in his updated Income and Expense Declaration, nor has he produced documentation supporting the same. We have attributed these inflows to PK as income pending documentation supporting the obligations or repayment.”
The forensic accountant also declared that PK has withdrawn over $100,000 in cash over the last two years and spent “approximately $435,000 on travel and dining” since moving out of their marital home.
“Dorit has not received child or spousal support since the date of separation. Since vacating the residence, PK has spent the majority of his time abroad and lived a lavish lifestyle,” Garrett claimed, while supporting Dorit’s monthly demand for $21,086 in child support and an additional $22,330 in spousal support. The Bravolebrity further claims that PK “has assumed little responsibility for the children’s day-to-day care,” leaving her to “shoulder virtually all parenting responsibilities.”
Her CPA found that PK’s “income for the 24 months ending March 31, 2026 is at least $3,869,620” and Dorit’s annual income is $548,970. (Her RHOBH salary was included but redacted in the paperwork.)
Us reached out to both parties’ lawyers for comment.
PK and Dorit have been at war since April 2025 when she filed for divorce after 10 years of marriage. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind their split and asked a judge to award her sole legal and physical custody of their two children: son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 9.
PK has slammed Dorit for allegedly spending $1 million on designer goods for RHOBH and claiming she takes care of their kids 95 percent of the time. Dorit denied the spending claim, stating that she returned some of the items. In her declaration, however, the reality star revealed she spent $217,000 on her season 15 wardrobe.
Meanwhile, the exes aren’t just fighting over custody and support.
Dorit and PK are also at odds over their once-shared home, which she and their children have occupied since their split in May 2024.
She accused PK of failing to pay the mortgage on their residence, despite allegedly promising to do so, resulting in foreclosure notices.
PK has expressed his desire to sell the home, arguing that an immediate, court-ordered sale of the property is necessary to preserve the remaining equity in the home. Dorit asked the judge to deny his request.
In court documents filed last month, Dorit claimed her estranged husband is attempting to “egregiously misuse Family Code 2108” in an attempt to “side-step trial” and continue to allegedly forgo making their mortgage payments. She argued that his actions would “render his wife and children homeless.”
Brittany Cartwright is reportedly refusing to let Jax Taylor reclaim the spotlight without a fight.
Sources claim Cartwright is frustrated over her estranged husband’s rumored return to television and has been rallying support behind the scenes as casting for a new project heats up.
Brittany Cartwright married Jax Taylor in 2019 after years together, but their relationship unraveled publicly, leading to her filing for divorce in 2024. With the split still making headlines, the latest behind-the-scenes battle suggests their story is far from over.

Brittany Cartwright is reportedly refusing to let history repeat itself. As plans for another season of “The Valley” begin taking shape, the reality star is said to have made it clear that she has no interest in sharing the spotlight with Jax Taylor again.
The reported decision comes after months of public drama between the former couple, whose relationship has continued to unravel even after cameras stopped rolling. Rather than reopening old wounds, insiders claim Brittany is focused on protecting her peace and moving forward.
Now her reported stance is one of the biggest talking points around the show’s future and has added new questions as to whether the producers can get both ex-husbands and wives back on board without having to force an explosive reunion.

What reportedly pushed Brittany to take such a firm stand was not just Jax’s rumored return, but the revelation that he had allegedly grown close to Lori Krebs, the longtime publicist who had also become one of Brittany’s trusted friends.
According to The Daily Mail, the discovery left Brittany feeling blindsided after years of brushing off similar rumors and standing by someone she believed she could trust.
The report claimed Brittany was especially upset because the alleged relationship involved someone who had been part of her inner circle for years. Sources said that the sense of betrayal, more than Jax’s new romance itself, is what has made the situation so difficult for her to process.
The fallout has reportedly extended beyond their own lives, and even to the future of “The Valley” as the producers try to determine what the show’s next chapter will look like, with several cast members reportedly behind the scenes supporting Brittany.

What started as another public disagreement has now turned into something much bigger, at least from Jax’s perspective. The reality star claimed the tension between him and Brittany is no longer confined to their divorce and co-parenting struggles, alleging it has begun affecting his ability to rebuild his career.
Jax accused Brittany of repeatedly trying to interfere with his professional opportunities, claiming she had contacted networks and brands in an effort to stop him from landing work. He alleged the behavior had become “a pattern” and was making it increasingly difficult for him to move forward after their split.
Jax also claimed he lost an opportunity to appear on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” after Brittany allegedly reached out behind the scenes. While those claims remain his version of events, they mark yet another explosive accusation in the former couple’s ongoing war of words.

Even as their personal lives continue to dominate headlines, Brittany and Jax have managed to reach common ground when it comes to their son. The former couple recently finalized a custody arrangement that gives them shared responsibility for Cruz’s upbringing, despite their ongoing divorce battle.
The Blast reported that the agreement allows both parents to share custody and make joint decisions about Cruz’s education and overall well-being. Brittany will have the final say on medical matters if they cannot reach an agreement, while neither parent will pay child support under the current arrangement.
The custody deal also includes strict boundaries around introducing new romantic partners and substance use while caring for their son. While their relationship remains strained, the agreement suggests both reality stars are attempting to keep Cruz’s best interests at the center of an otherwise messy split.

While the latest reports have centered on Jax’s rumored romance, Brittany is also still navigating a divorce that has yet to reach the finish line. Despite months of legal proceedings, the former couple remains locked in a dispute over how to end their marriage officially.
As reported by The Blast, Jax’s attorney argued that a recent all-day settlement conference failed because Cartwright’s side allegedly arrived without the financial records needed to move negotiations forward.
The attorney also rejected claims that Jax was responsible for delaying the proceedings, insisting he wants the divorce finalized as soon as possible. For Brittany, the unresolved legal battle means the latest headlines arrive before one chapter has truly closed.
With the divorce still pending and fresh personal drama continuing to unfold, will Brittany Cartwright finally be able to put this turbulent period behind her?
Ariana Grande’s planned break away from the public eye will be spent with those closest to her, especially her boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez.
The singer announced her intention to escape the spotlight for a while following heightened scrutiny about her aggressive weight loss.
While concerns about Grande’s health continue to abound, the former child star assures her fans that her hiatus has nothing to do with the pressures of fame.

Amid speculations that Grande might spend her time away in rehab, a close source clarified that the singer plans to be surrounded by her loved ones.
“She’ll be spending a lot of time with her family, friends and Ricky,” explained the insider, who noted that her schedule over the past months prevented quality time.
“She [Grande] and Ricky haven’t been able to spend as much time together as she would have liked over the past few months, so she’s looking forward to having more uninterrupted time with him,” the source told Page Six.
The lovebirds are still basking in the euphoria of their love, having reconnected last month, ten years after their initial breakup.
Apart from bonding with Alvarez, Grande is said to be eager to experience her day-to-day without restrictions.
“She’s looking forward to having more freedom in her day and being able to make plans without constantly working around such a demanding schedule,” added the informant.
An insight into how the Nickelodeon alum plans to spend her respite comes after she directly addressed the ongoing rumors that she was forced to take a step back.
Following the release of the music video for “Petal,” fans heavily voiced concerns about Grande’s physical appearance, crying that she appeared emaciated and frail.
Shortly after, reps for the artist announced that Grande will take “a step back from visibility” after ending her Eternal Sunshine tour on September 1.
While on stage during her stop at Chicago’s United Center venue, Grande spoke to the ongoing chatter, explaining her decision to fans. “Sometimes when a story comes out that’s not directly from me, things can get a little blown out of proportion,” she began, per The Blast.
The “Just Like Magic” songstress added, “The announcement that was made yesterday was not a reactive or impulsive thing. It was something that I have decided. A plan that I had quietly made a long time ago.”
The 33-year-old, who described her move as “empowered,” then shut down claims that the negativity was getting to her. “I just have to say that could not be more the far opposite. This is not what that is,” Grande declared.

Ariana’s announcement has since been met with mixed reactions, with some regarding it as the right move while others insist she succumbed to bullying.
Nevertheless, the “Sam & Cat” star has the stamp of approval from her inner circle, with her mom Joan Grande speaking up after her emotional revelation.
As The Blast reported, the doting matriarch offered praises for her daughter’s latest project, particularly the newly released music video that got tongues wagging.
Joan took to social media to give a shout-out to her famous daughter, writing in the comment section, “You are magnificent… and this video is incredible!! I love it, and I love you more!!!”

Amid Joan’s public support, not everyone in the Grande clan seemed to be sensitive to the pop star’s plight.
According to The Blast, the singer’s elder brother Frankie Grande shared a thirst trap amid the heavy scrutiny his sister is dealing with.
The actor took to social media to post images during a gym session and afterward. In one snap, Frankie was completely nude with just a towel covering his private area, while another showed him sweaty in short workout clothes.
Fans wasted no time expressing displeasure with the post, with some accusing him of flaunting his healthy body while his sister suffers.
“Go look after your sister rather than seeking attention online. You have leeched off of her for years, but you’re still here all about yourself in her time of need?!!” one harsh comment read.

While Frankie has remained quiet on the subject of his sister’s look, some notable voices in the industry have come to her defense.
Influencer Trisha Paytas dropped her two cents on the conversation, taking to social media to bash body shamers who feel comfortable speaking on a stranger’s physique.
Per The Blast, the media personality blamed the use of GLP-1 medications for the rise in “body checking” in Hollywood. Nevertheless, Paytas noted that it was never right to speak on anyone’s body, even if it is done in good faith.
“Is it alarming? Is it shocking? Yes. I don’t know necessarily if we need to be commenting on it as much as we are,” she said of Ariana’s “Petal” video.
Harry Potter fans need no reason to celebrate the iconic franchise they grew up with. Be it J.K. Rowling’s books or the iconic movies, the wizarding world enchants its audience and transports them to a world full of wonders and magic. It’s been 25 years since the first movie, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, came out and kickstarted a journey for millions of fans around the world.
Directed by Chris Columbus, the film launched Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter, with Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley and Emma Watson as Hermione Granger. It followed Harry as he (and us) make a transition from a non-magical life to a magical one. The feature also introduced Robbie Coltrane as Rubeus Hagrid, Richard Harris as Albus Dumbledore, Alan Rickman as Severus Snape, and Maggie Smith as Minerva McGonagall – all of whom played beloved characters over the years, and are etched in our memories.
After the success of the first feature, Columbus went on to direct the second film, Chamber of Secrets, establishing the iconic visual look, magical tone, and core cast of the franchise. With Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the franchise brought in director Alfonso Cuarón to establish a darker, more mature, and cinematic aesthetic as the characters grew older. Each director brought out a new part of the Wizarding World, which is the primary reason it feels so vast and versatile.
Then in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, director Mike Newell brought a kinetic energy with a tense, dramatic edge to flesh out the wizarding tournament and introduced Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) in flesh. Next came David Yates, who took over the reins of the next four installments, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Part 2. He defined the sweeping, epic, and dark political conflict of the concluding war against Voldemort.
The franchise had a great run and grossed over $7.78 billion worldwide owing to its legendary cast, its evolution over the years from Columbus’ bright, childlike tone to the darker, auteur-driven style of Cuarón and Yates. Harry Potter franchise leaves a lasting legacy that can’t be touched and started a Pottermania that is now reigniting in the wake of the upcoming reboot. But before that, all Harry Potter movies are coming to Regal cinemas; fans will be able to enjoy all the movies in 4DX format between August 27 and September 3 ahead of HBO’s highly anticipated reboot this Christmas.
Stay tuned to Collider for more such updates.

Ariana Grande’s brother, Frankie Grande, is sharing a few eyebrow-raising pics after it was announced that his sister will be taking a break from the public eye.
“July was hot 🥵,” Frankie, 43, wrote via Instagram on Monday, August 3.
Frankie’s post included multiple shirtless photos from the month — but one pic in particular has everyone talking. In the ninth photo of his slideshow, the Big Brother alum posed in front of a mirror, fully nude, with nothing but a towel covering his groin.
“Oh my God I wasnt ready for #9. My heart stopped for just a minute. Hopefully you can restart it when I see you in titanique in 4 weeks,” one user wrote while another responded, “SLIDE 9! I told you to try harder, and you certainly delivered! 🔥🔥🔥.”
Another user, and fan of his sister, responded to the post, writing, “Please give the biggest hug to @arianagrande and all of your beautiful family ♡.”
Frankie’s NSFW selfie comes one day after Ariana’s spokesperson announced that she will be “taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour” amid ongoing scrutiny and concern over the singer’s body and perceived health.

“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” the spokesperson said in a statement to People on Sunday, August 2. “This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much.”
The pop star’s hiatus will begin following the conclusion of her tour on September 1. Ariana has two shows left in Chicago, followed by a final 10 performances in London. Ariana will also no longer appear in the West End revival of Sunday in the Park With George opposite her Wicked costar Jonathan Bailey.
Ariana’s break comes following the release of her eight studio album, Petal. In addition to releasing the record, the singer dropped a music video for her song of the same name, sparking instant controversy regarding the singer’s thin frame. . Ariana has yet to publicly comment on the online discourse or the break. Us previously reached out to comment but did not hear back.
Frankie — who has been Ariana’s No. 1 over the years — has not publicly addressed his sister’s break from the limelight. However, their mother, Joan Grande, sent support her daughter’s way.
“You are magnificent… and this video is incredible!! I love it and I love you more!!!” Joan replied to an Instagram post Ariana shared of behind-the-scenes moments from the “Petal” music video set.
HBO is known as the home of prestige drama and the pioneer of the best era for modern television. But it isn’t slowing down anytime soon, with the likes of the acclaimed medical drama The Pitt and the new Game of Thrones spin-off show, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, just two of HBO’s more recent success stories. When it comes to crime drama, the best available from HBO also debuted in 2025, and was led by MCU favorite Mark Ruffalo and House of the Dragon veteran Fabien Frankel.
Earning widespread acclaim from both fans and critics and scoring 4 million U.S. cross-platform viewers in its first three days for its finale, it’s safe to say that Task Season 1 was a huge hit for HBO, so much so that, despite many expecting it to be a miniseries, a second season was surprisingly greenlit. Ruffalo’s FBI agent and former Catholic priest, Tom Brandis, returns for the second season, now challenged with overseeing a new task force that will see him tested to his limits. We already know that he will be joined by two eye-catching additions in two-time Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali and Edgar Ramirez, with it now confirmed by Deadline that a selection of other favorite faces will be joining the Season 2 ensemble.
According to the new report, Tim Blake Nelson (Watchmen), Jharrel Jerome (Moonlight), Brían F. O’Byrne (Little Boy Blue), Bethlehem Million, and Ballard (Prime Video’s hit Bosch spin-off) star Kevin Dunn, have been added to Season 2. Nelson plays “Denny Coughlin, a career cop who plays by his own rules, recruited to be part of Tom Brandis’ Task Force”; Jerome is “Jordan Barnes, Eddie Barnes’ son”; O’Byrne takes on the role of “Charlie Boylan, a retired DEA Agent and mentor to Eddie Barnes”; Million is “Lisa Barnes, Eddie Barnes’ daughter,” and Dunn is portraying “Vince Runyan, a no-nonsense FBI Agent and Tom Brandis’ boss.” It’s also been confirmed that Andrew Russel will reprise his role as Ethan Brandis, Tom Brandis’ son.
If you can’t wait for Task Season 2, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Ruffalo is currently reprising his role as Bruce Banner in the long-awaited Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which finally hit the big screen last weekend. Expectations were high for the last feature-length step on the road to Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, but no one quite expected this much success. Already, Brand New Day has earned the largest preview haul in cinema history with $72 million, the biggest opening day with just shy of $170 million, and now the biggest opening weekend haul in domestic history.
Task is available to stream on HBO Max. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Brock Lesnar is officially hanging up his boots following his loss to Oba Femi at WWE SummerSlam.
“I’m here today to do this interview to let the world and everybody know that I am retired,” Lesnar, 49, said Tuesday, August 4, on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show. “I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody. Saturday was a very emotional day for me.”
Lesnar lost to Femi, 28, in a Hell in a Cell match to cap off night one of SummerSlam on Saturday, August 1. The event took place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, home of the NFL’s Vikings, close to where Lesnar was a national champion in wrestling at the University of Minnesota.
The loss on Saturday night was the third of a trilogy of matches between Lesnar and Femi. At WrestleMania 42 in April, Lesnar placed his gloves and boots in the middle of the ring and appeared to retire after losing to Femi. Lesnar admitted on Tuesday that, at the time, he thought he might really be done.
“When Oba Femi slammed me at WrestleMania, I was like, ‘I can’t do this again,’” he told host Pat McAfee. “I was like, ‘I think I’m done.’ But I still had some fuel in the tank.”
The seven-time WWE champion and former decorated UFC star confirmed that fans won’t be seeing him back in the octagon, either.
“Saturday for Brock Lesnar, that’s it. That’s it for me in the squared circle and for everything else, too,” Lesnar said. “I just want to give a shout-out to everybody on this universe that has followed me since I was a little kid all the way ‘til Saturday.”
He continued, “I was just a farm kid from South Dakota with a big dream and a big heart and a big ass chip on my shoulder. I’m just grateful. Grateful to be 49 years old and to be able to do what I did in this lifetime. I thank God and everybody that supported me.”
Lesnar gave a special message to “the little kids” watching the interview.
“I was just a farm kid with a bunch of lint in my pocket,” he said. “I had big dreams and I just worked. I think a lot of people nowadays with social media platform athletes for doing things, but they leave out the hard work. If kids just stay focused on work and putting the time in, good things will happen.”
General Hospital puts Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) finally getting her divorce from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). And right now, of course, her first priority is her kids, getting more access to them. But eventually, she’ll move on from this mess with Drew.
And then she’s going to need a new love interest. So, we’re wondering who is the next man for Willow. I mean, a guy would have to be crazy to date her, right? We’re going to talk about what unlucky man might be next in line to romance Drew’s soon to be ex-wife.
Now, let’s talk about her messy love life. So recently we saw Willow get the scare of her life when Drew showed up at their home on his own two feet walking and talking after Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) rolled his wheelchair into the lake trying to drown him. Drew was soaking wet and absolutely infuriated at Willow.
Everything that Drew’s diabolical wife put him through for the last several months had him ready to choke her. Willow tried to kill him by putting two bullets into Drew’s back at close range. That alone should make her undatable. Then Willow injected Drew with a paralytic that kept him prisoner in his own body for months. Any man should run from her.
And Drew had to sit there and listen to Willow go on and on. Plus, Drew had to listen to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) who threatened to kill him repeatedly. And then of course, Nina just tried to kill him again out of pure desperation, trying to protect Willow. None of this makes her prime dating material. Not at all. And at this point, Drew wants to destroy Willow’s life.
And I’m sure that Drew doesn’t want Willow to move on with a new man and find love and find happiness. He’s also furious that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) played that blackmail card that shut down any chance that Drew had to call the cops on Willow and someone and report them. So, Drew cannot ruin Willow’s life, at least not in the way he wants. At least not yet.
And we also know that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) girlfriend, Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell), has some plot cooking this week to take down Willow. Looks like some pills might be involved. And at first, Michael doesn’t know what Jacinda is plotting, but no matter what, Willow is a survivor and she’ll get through that also. And once she’s legally divorced from Drew and gets past these plots against her, at some point we are going to see Willow in a new romance. But the question is, who in Port Charles would tangle with her? An accused husband shooter.
Well, the first person to consider as Willow’s next love interest is one of her several ex-husbands, Michael. And of course, he hates what happened to their marriage and that Willow cheated with Drew and chose that guy over him. But never say never because Michael and Willow share two kids and did have some nice moments in their history. Certainly their children would like to see their parents back together. And I think we know Michael’s not going to last with Jacinda. That seems pretty clear.
Michael might consider a reunion if Willow swallowed her pride and begged him to reconsider for their kid’s sake. And if Michael is single, he might consider it in part because I think he knows it would infuriate his uncle Drew to see Willow is back with him. However, I think General Hospital fans would hate to see Michael back with Willow.
I would be shocked if Michael took her back unless he had some kind of ulterior motive. You know, maybe he’d get with Willow as part of an agenda to get rid of her for good. Michael might take the keep your enemies close tactic, but then again, I don’t think he would get back with her because it would hurt the kids when it didn’t work out. So, I don’t think that’s the kind of plot that Michael would engage in against her just because of them.
So, with that in mind, Willow might do better with somebody who’s new to Port Charles and doesn’t know her messy and tawdry personal history. There is a hunky new guy, Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) who is a cardiac surgeon at General Hospital. He’s fresh meat and he has no idea how toxic Willow is. And she does have a very pretty face.
And so far, he seems to be a pretty decent guy, but he is involved with the WSB, at least to some extent. He denied to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) that he was placed at General Hospital by the WSB to keep an eye on her. But we also saw Jack recently confront him, and it seemed like the doctor is in a little deeper than he let on.
Plus, once you’re on the WSB radar, obviously, you kind of have no choice but to do what you’re told. So, who really knows what the guy is up to? But he is handsome and I assume he’s rich because he’s a cardiac surgeon and Willow’s very pretty and she’s up at the hospital a lot. So, she and the doctor will meet at some point and maybe they wind up on a date.
Another option is another of Willow’s ex-husbands, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). And again, I think a lot of fans would hate this, maybe even more than they would hate Willow being with Michael again. Most fans despise the fact that this ex keeps risking his marriage and his career to defend Willow when she’s guilty as heck.
And at this point, he finally seems to have his head on straight. He’s putting Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Phoebe Wilson (Lucia and Luna Brighton) first. Plus, he and Brook Lynn signed the formal adoption papers for Phoebe this week. But Willow keeps popping up in his orbit relentlessly, if you ask me.
And it seems that Willow has some kind of lingering feelings for him. Brook Lynn is on to her, but of course, he remains blind to how devious and diabolical Willow really is. I don’t think he has any kind of residual romantic feelings for her, but he’s definitely protective of Willow and he thinks she’s a good person.
But with those pills in play this week, maybe Jacinda drugs this ex and Willow and gets them in bed together. Maybe she takes Michael’s plan and runs with it in an extreme way that could ruin his and Brook Lynn’s marriage and open the path to a reunion.

Another really awful option to consider is Brennan. And the only reason I mention this is because it could happen if Willow got really angry with her mom. And Willow might decide to do her mom dirty since her mom slept with Drew behind her back and hid it from her for months.
If you remember, that blew up at Willow and Drew’s wedding at the altar and it was a huge deal breaker for Willow and she blew up at her mom, didn’t want her in her life. And since then, they have reconciled.
But you never know, Willow might get really mad at her mom and target Jack and sleep with him as revenge. I don’t think Jack would necessarily go for it willingly, but you know, she might drug him or do something terrible.
And the last option I can see other than General Hospital bringing in a brand new person that we’ve never met is to pair Willow with another new guy in town. He just arrived and we don’t know much about him. We’ve heard he’s complicated. And Willow seems to like dark things. He seems like a good possibility to me because he’s around the same age. He’s nice looking. And Willow tends to get enticed by men with darkness in them. Michael and Drew both have dark sides.
Chase doesn’t, to be fair. And I think Willow is just messed up about men because of the cult, Dawn of Day. If you remember, her mom handed her over to Hank “Shiloh” Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) to assault when she was a teenager. He took her virginity and kept forcing himself on her. Got Willow pregnant, and she ran off, hid the baby from him and the cult. That was the baby that ended up dying.
So, if I’m being honest, what Willow needs more than a new man is some therapy. Some intensive psychotherapy to deal with her childhood and teenage trauma from her mom and the cult and other painful experiences so that Willow can get her head on straight and have a normal relationship and not keep making bad choices like Drew. But I don’t think it’ll happen unless somehow she’s sent to a psychiatric facility for a timeout. Then maybe she’ll get the help she needs.
