Kiefer Sutherland has canceled the U.S. leg of his ongoing tour due to low ticket sales, while continuing to perform shows in Europe and the U.K.
The actor turned musician said refunds will be issued and hinted at returning to the U.S. in the future.
The decision comes amid recent legal scrutiny tied to an alleged incident between Kiefer Sutherland and a rideshare driver earlier this year, along with renewed attention around his past legal history.

In a post shared on Instagram, the 59-year-old actor and musician said he was “disappointed” by the decision but felt continuing the shows in America wouldn’t be fair to fans or venues if attendance was low.
He added that anyone who had already purchased tickets would be refunded through their original point of sale, and expressed hope to return for future U.S. dates under better circumstances.
The cancellation affects several planned stops across major cities, including Los Angeles, Boston, and Phoenix. However, his final scheduled performance in Las Vegas is still currently listed as going ahead, along with a later appearance at a music festival in Canada.
Sutherland is still completing the European and U.K. legs of his “Love Will Bring You Home” tour, which supports his upcoming fourth studio album, “Grey,” set for release later this month.
The Actor Thanked His European Fans As The Tour Continues
Sutherland recently thanked European audiences online, saying the shows had been a positive experience as the tour continues.
The tour marks his first full run since 2024, as he has been steadily building his music career alongside his acting career.
His recent work has focused more on personal themes, with him describing the new album as a more introspective project shaped by his experiences over the past couple of years.
“In many ways, these songs mark a growth for me personally, as I wrote less about observations and more about personal feelings that I have been navigating in my own life,” he shared, per the Daily Mail.
Kiefer Sutherland Has Gotten Into Legal Troubles Over The Years
Sutherland’s recent tour announcement comes after a period of legal scrutiny earlier in the year, due to an incident involving a rideshare driver in Los Angeles.
Authorities reviewed the case, with further investigation requested before any final decisions on charges.
Sutherland was initially taken into custody in connection with allegations tied to the encounter and released on bail.
Best known for his role as Jack Bauer in “24,” the actor has faced multiple legal issues over several decades, including driving-related incidents and prior arrests.
His history includes incidents dating back to the late 1980s and 1990s, as well as later DUI-related cases in the 2000s that resulted in jail time, probation, and community service requirements.
The Actor Opened Up About Stigma Around His Music Career
Despite past controversies, Sutherland has remained active across both film and music.
Alongside his touring schedule, he continues to work on screen projects, with recent and upcoming films still in development, including a thriller and another production currently in post-production.
He previously reflected on his decision to pursue a music career, admitting he was initially hesitant about stepping into the industry as an established actor.
In an interview with People Magazine, the actor acknowledged the common skepticism toward actors who transition into music, saying he once shared that same reaction himself.
“I had no intention of making an album. I hear about an actor wanting to do music, and my eyes roll back too,” Sutherland said, adding that he was fully aware of the stigma, which contributed to his reluctance for years.

In his chat with the publication, Sutherland explained that music had actually been part of his life since his teenage years, even though he never initially planned to turn it into a professional path.
According to the actor, his first album, “Down in a Hole,” came together more organically than expected after working with collaborators in the studio.
Sutherland recalled how a recording session with a collaborator named Jude helped shift his perspective.
After laying down a couple of songs early in the process, he was encouraged to consider turning the material into a full album.
“At the end, he said, ‘I really like your songs, and they are clearly yours. You should do them. You should make a record,’” Sutherland shared.
He initially dismissed the idea, joking that it would never happen, but said that after spending more time in the studio, the idea began to feel more realistic and eventually led to the creation of the record.

Released in 2004, Denzel Washington joined forces with a young Dakota Fanning on one of his best movies of this century. Two years after winning his second Academy Award for Training Day, Washington starred in the crime thriller Man on Fire, based on the 1980 novel by A.J. Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, the seven-episode series was an instant hit on the streaming charts, earning an impressive 11 million views in just four days after its premiere.
The success of the series has no doubt turned many back to Washington’s 2004 adaptation and, in turn, many more action-packed entries into his filmography. One such film, which is full of brutal, hand-to-hand combat, is the post-apocalyptic Western thriller, The Book of Eli. Released in 2010, the movie stars Washington alongside Harry Potter favorite Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis, in a script penned by Gary Whitta, who is best known for his work on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Albert and Allen Hughes, better known as The Hughes Brothers, directed the film on a reported $80 million budget.
The Book of Eli fell short of doubling its reported budget, with a global box office haul of $158 million, split between a $94 million domestic haul and a further $64 million from overseas markets. The movie only played in over 2,000 U.S. theaters for four weeks, opening in second place in the domestic box office charts and dropping in revenue by 52% in its second week. Unfortunately for The Book of Eli, it was going head-to-head with the near-$3 billion hit Avatar. At the time of writing, 16 years later, The Book of Eli is one of the ten most-streamed movies on AMC+ in the U.S.
Critics Weren’t Fond of ‘The Book of Eli’
Although the movie is proving popular 16 years on, there was little praise being thrown its way by critics in 2010. On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film earned a disappointing 45% rating, with critics frustrated by an uneven plot and a script that felt underdeveloped. “This picture is a big waste of time,” one called it, while another declared it a “hot mess,” adding, “the filmmakers just tried to get too deep with something that was not fully developed.”

Tommy’s fight against Hall, 38, is set to take place one day after Hague’s projected due date on June 12. In a recent vlog, Hague assured fans she wasn’t upset over Tommy’s fight being scheduled so close to her due date.
“A lot of questions about, ‘How do you feel about Tommy’s fight,’ and obviously the date of it,” she told viewers in April. “Obviously I knew that you guys were going to be concerned about that and have questions about that, but fear not.”
The Love Island U.K. star went on, “Fear not fair maiden because we’re actually feeling really, really good about it and have a really good plan in place.”

Was ‘Sing Street’ a Success?
Oh yes, this is one of the most beloved movies of the 2010s. It was a major critical success and a solid financial success, especially considering it was a small indie musical. Critically, it was adored. It holds a 95% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, with the consensus calling it “a feel-good musical with huge heart and irresistible optimism,” and the reviews praising the cast’s performances and the songs. Bethenny Frankel fired back after Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Dina Manzo and her daughter, Lexi Ioannou, accused her of not crediting their brand for one of her recent outfits.
“I don’t usually respond to things like this but I think there’s a business lesson here,” Frankel, 55, insisted via TikTok on Saturday, May 16.
The drama kicked off on Friday when Frankel showcased a strapless, polka dot sundress and received compliments about her black peep-toe pumps. She then pointed her fans to a Bloomingdales pair ($375) “for the same look.”
Ioannou, 30, later revealed that she’d sent the pumps to Bethenny as a promotion for her own fashion brand, Nou.
“Bethenny Frankel is a weirdo,” Ioannou claimed in an Instagram video on Friday. “I sent her a pair of shoes from Nou almost a year ago because I look up to her. [She is a] female entrepreneur [and from the] Bravo universe like me.”
Ioannou pointed out that Frankel never tagged Nou despite wearing the pumps in her social media content.
“OK, that happens, but then she posted a video today that’s going viral and a bunch of people are asking where the shoes are [from]. Instead of linking them, she linked a dupe with an affiliate link,” Ioannou complained. “I guess she’s got to get that bag in some sort of way? So, she got the shoes for free from a woman-founded brand, mine, and then she made money sending her followers somewhere else.”
Ioannou’s mom, Manzo, quoted one of Frankel’s iconic Real Housewives of New York City arguments with Ramona Singer while directing followers to buy “the real thing” from Nou.

“‘Wow Bethenny Wow!!’ So odd of you to post a dupe of your GIFTED @shopnou shoes instead of giving a young woman entrepreneur credit,” Manzo wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday. “You wear them often so we know you like them??”
Frankel later released an “Outfit of the Day” video where she did credit Nou. In her TikTok response, Frankel insisted that her decision to link out to another retailer was standard practice in social media.
“The shoes were sold out so we linked to something similar because the audience gets frustrated when there’s something they can’t buy,” Frankel explained. “Why would I wear something and talk about it, if they can’t buy it?”
She went on, “This female owner decided to post a scathing video of me. Her body, her choice. I have stated multiple times that if you send me something, I have no obligation to link, like, use, wear, buy, tag. I can do whatever I want.”

Frankel suggested that she was now reluctant to support Ioannou’s brand after being called out.
“There are about a hundred brands that will watch this video that will message her to tell her how much product I move,” the former RHONY star predicted. “How many sprinkle cookies for Melissa Gorga, how many dresses for Ramy Brook, how many pairs of jeans for Guess. I move a lot of product because I don’t bulls***.”
The reality TV icon argued that Ioannou’s “whining and being a cry baby” was playing the “short game” in the business world.
“It means you’re not a real business person. You have a lot to learn,” Frankel quipped. “I would have worn all of the shoes on your site and you would have sold thousands of pairs and made hundreds of thousands of dollars.”
She added, “My account. My body. My choice. Once you send those shoes into my house, my shoes. You’re welcome!”

Pete Davidson’s ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt is looking for a new “right hand person” following her split from the former Saturday Night Live star.

The insider suggested that it was “very unlikely” that Hewitt and Davidson would ever reconcile romantically while stressing that they are committed to coparenting effectively.

Davidson and Hewitt’s whirlwind relationship began when they were spotted together in March 2025 before announcing that they were expecting a baby together that July.
