Kristin Cavallari reflects on her feelings post-divorce, digging into her emotional side.

The media personality got candid, sharing her story and highlighting her experience after she and her now ex-husband pulled the plug on their almost seven-year marriage. Revealing the takeaways from that phase of her life, she looks back on the heartache that accompanied her growth.

Kristin Cavallari was married to former professional footballer Jay Cutler. They met in 2010, tied the knot in 2013, and remained together till 2020. The couple shares three kids: sons Jaxon and Camden, and a daughter, Saylor.

Cavallari recently opened up about her experience during her divorce from Cutler a few years ago. She shared that there were a handful of lessons the experience taught her, although it was painful, noting that she learned to stop being a control freak.

The media personality shared that she has come to realize that going through hard times is necessary because they help one appreciate the good times.

Stressing that there is indeed beauty in pain, she recounted when she tried to shut off her feelings. “I didn’t wanna feel anything. I wanted to push everything away. I was like, ‘I’m fine, I’m fine, I’m fine. I’m the tough girl,” she said.

She detailed her experience on a recent episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast, disclosing that at that time, she did not know how to ask for help or feel vulnerable. Cavallari said she allowed herself to go through the emotional roller coaster and live through the pain, not run from it.

“And thank God I did, because that was where the majority of my growth and life came from. The pain, and the hurt, and the suffering are there to teach us something,” the podcaster added.

The podcaster continued, stating that trying to run from pain was a disservice to oneself, as beauty lies at the end of the path. Last year, she spoke to US Weekly, revealing the growth she had experienced after the divorce, which was finalized in 2022.

She said that the years spent apart from her ex-husband have been instrumental in her growth as a person.

“I think growing up and realizing that what I had done previously wasn’t working for me and I needed to figure out what needed to change to set up the second half of my life to be really peaceful,” Cavallari revealed.

The former lovers spent about a decade together as they met in 2010 but got married in 2013, a year after their eldest son, Camden, was born. Ultimately, they decided to call it quits in 2020.

The Mother-Of-Three Revealed A New Requirement On Her Dating List

Cavallari previously got candid about her getting back into the dating pool, sharing what she now considers a red flag in a man.

She noted that a man without kids or the desire to have some is a no-go for her, and this made the list due to her experiences as a mother. “Someone who doesn’t have kids and doesn’t want any, I’m like, ‘You won’t understand my life,’” the mom of three explained.

As shared by The Blast, Cavallari gave insight into her line of reasoning, stressing that motherhood broadens a woman’s emotional perspective, and a potential partner without children might find it hard to relate, thereby causing friction in the relationship.

Cavallari’s list of preferences grows longer as she gets into dating head-on. In addition to men without kids, the podcaster has some career preferences too. She shared previously that she does not want men in the acting niche because she views them as generally insecure.

She described actors as a “bunch of nerds,” explaining that in her opinion, they usually lacked confidence, hence they were not her type. “Typically, actors are very insecure, and I think that’s why they become actors, because they’re seeking outside validation,” the media personality noted.

The podcast host disclosed that another reason she was not into actors was that she had no interest in having a long-distance relationship. Busy schedules and frequent traveling were a red zone in her books.

The Blast reported that even though the acting career was a major turnoff for her, she still found some actors, like Brandon Sklenar, physically appealing.

Kevin Costner’s 35-Year-Old Fantasy Epic Hits a Bullseye on Netflix

Published

on

Kevin Costner on the red carpet with an image of a man behind him.

Kevin Costner is one of the most popular movie stars in the world, and it all dates back to his dual Oscar-winning work with Dances With Wolves. Costner arrived as a star in the 90s with other performances in The Postman and The Bodyguard, but in the later stages of his career, he became even more famous for his work in Taylor Sheridan’s most popular series. Costner first put on his boots to play John Dutton in Yellowstone in 2018, and he spent the better part of 10 years playing the character before his final performance in 2024. Costner’s relationship with Sheridan may have started on solid ground, but by the end of the show, it’s clear he was ready to move on to other projects.

However, long before Costner ever had the task of wrangling duties at Yellowstone ranch, he starred in a classic historical epic that’s aged like fine wine. In 1991, Costner starred as the legendary archer in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, which follows the legendary outlaw who faces off against the brutal tyranny of the Sheriff of Nottingham. Morgan Freeman, Alan Rickman, and Christian Slater star alongside Costner in the film, and it was directed by Kevin Reynolds with Pen Densham and John Watson working on the script. Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is not streaming anywhere in America at the time of writing, but globally, the film is charting in the Netflix top 10 in several countries around the world. It grossed $390 million at the box office against a $48 million budget.

Kevin Costner’s ‘Robin Hood’ Has Aged Better Than Russell Crowe’s

Kevin Costner is far from the only actor to bring the legendary tale of Robin Hood to life on the big screen. Russell Crowe also teamed up with Ridley Scott to do the same thing back in 2010, but most fans would agree that Costner’s film did a much better job handling the story. Crowe recently went public, criticizing how Robin Hood was brought to the big screen, noting that more than 15 minutes of scenes were cut from the final cut. Robin Hood (2010) is currently streaming on HBO Max, and there’s also a TV version now streaming on MGM+ starring Game of Thrones veteran Sean Bean.

Check out Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves on VOD platforms like Prime Video and stay tuned to Collider for more streaming updates.

Dress Like a Copenhagen Socialite in These 13 Fur Pieces

Every time I visit Copenhagen, I always get a ton of fashion inspiration, but my most recent winter trip was the best one yet. In the frigid Danish capital, people still managed to stay stylish and warm thanks to stunning fur fashion designs. Almost every woman stepped outside wearing some sort of fur — I saw so many coats, hats, scarves, hoods and more.

In a country where the winters feel extra long and frigid, the Danes manage to stay peppy with their furry fashions. So take some notes from Copenhagen dwellers and upgrade your winter wardrobe with the chicest faux fur pieces that are plush, warm and ridiculously stylish.

Dress Like a Copenhagen Socialite in These 13 Fur Pieces

1. Top Pick: This extra fluffy overcoat could pass for real fur thanks to the nuanced shading. Because of this, each piece looks one-of-a-kind.

2. Make a Statement: Along with neutral-hued coats, the most fashionable girls in Copenhagen opted for loud cheetah prints — just like this trendy long coat — to show off their versatile sense of style.

3. Go Oversized: The extra-large lapels on this blanket-like fur coat give off millionaire vibes. I love that this design makes any outfit feel more elevated.

Living and visiting New York are two very different things, especially in the wintertime. After living in New York City for about seven years, I’m still in awe of the twinkling bright lights, just-fallen snow and the smell of sweet peanuts in the air. And then a gust of frigid, blustery air hits my face, […]

4. Accessorized to the Nines: Beyond coats, Scandi girls keep their heads and ears toasty warm with Russian-style fur hats. This extra fuzzy one blocks out every ounce of cold air.

5. Go Shaggy: Textured fur coats give off cool girl vibes — and every girl in Copenhagen truly does look effortlessly chic when they wear a shaggy overcoat.

6. Fresh Take on Fur: Faux fur vests were also everywhere in the Danish capital. Vests like this bushy, cropped style were styled with baggy jeans and flowy shirts for a boho aesthetic.

7. Block the Chill: I was insanely envious of the Scandi girls with hooded fur coats. Luckily, Quince makes an ultra-plush faux fur jacket style that is what Nordic dreams are made of.

8. Just a Touch: I spotted more than full fur outerwear. Puffer coats with elegant fur trim — exactly like this style from Quince — were also super popular. I felt warmer just looking at them!

9. Sassy Hat: Fuzzy bucket hats were more than just functional in Copenhagen. They also showcased the Danes’ spunky personality and were the finishing touch to every outfit.

10. Layer on the Fur: The Copenhagen girls didn’t just wear fur coats. Many of them also had a woven fur scarf wrapped around their necks for extra warmth.

11. Unexpected Fur: What’s better than a fuzzy fur coat? How about an extra fun furry purse that’s a daring accessory for winter? I love this playful design from Naked Wardrobe.

12. Sale Alert: You’ll feel extra glamorous in a cropped, hooded faux fur jacket. I added it to my cart since it’s on sale!

13. The Trendiest of All: Keep the faux fur party going even after you take off your coat with a knitted cowl draped across your shoulders. Total Scandinavian queen vibes!

Raunchy End-Of-Days Comedy Is A High-Stakes Game

By Robert Scucci
| Published

The idea of playing video games until the world ends may sound like a lot of fun in the right setting, but 2018’s Relaxer will make you think twice. Set in 1999, just before the Y2K apocalypse, Relaxer isn’t one of those feel-good stories about getting together with your friends, chugging Mountain Dew, eating pizza, and going on an epic multiplayer adventure. Instead, it’s a solitary trudge through an isolated world of apathy and decay. It’s a tough watch, even nauseating at times, but if your video game habit is causing problems in your day-to-day life, Relaxer may be the wakeup call you’ve been looking for because it pulls no punches.

Set almost entirely on one man’s couch, Relaxer is claustrophobic, filthy, and enough to make you want to turn the Nintendo off and step on some grass. If you can make it through this one without tasting that metallic, “I’m about to throw up,” flavor on the back of your tongue, give yourself a pat on the back for being strong willed and possessing the kind of intestinal fortitude that escapes me.

The Ultimate Slacker Comedy

Relaxer 2019

Relaxer begins with our hero, if you could call him that, Abbie (Joshua Burge), playing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and chugging milk whenever his older brother, Cam (David Dastmalchian), looks up from his stopwatch. This “challenge,” as they put it, is the latest in a long line of failed attempts where Abbie taps out because he makes himself sick chasing whatever high score or record is in front of him.

Sitting in a pool of his own vomit, Abbie promises Cam, who’s rightfully frustrated with his slacker brother’s lack of contributions to rent and utilities, that he’s going to do the unthinkable. Legend has it that if he can document himself passing level 256 of Pac-Man, something that has only been done once before, he’ll win $100,000 and stop being such a burden. Cam reluctantly agrees to support him through the challenge, under one condition: Abbie cannot even think about leaving the couch until he accomplishes what he set out to do.

Relaxer 2019

Taking Cam’s conditions seriously, Abbie gets to work but quickly runs into logistical problems. At some point, he has to eat, drink, and use the bathroom, and he has to make do. At multiple moments throughout Relaxer, Cam throws on a pair of 3D glasses that he believes give him telekinetic powers when the moment is right. It’s never made clear whether Abbie actually gains anything mystical while wearing the glasses, but enough strange coincidences encourage him to lean into the idea as he attempts to beat the unbeatable Pac-Man level.

Know What You’re Getting Into

While Relaxer’s premise is ridiculous on its own, the execution is absolutely nauseating. Abbie is dressed only in underwear, which are obviously soiled thanks to the conditions of his wager. When plumbing pipes burst, he gets sprayed with their contents. When the windows break, the elements pour inside. When somebody stops by, it’s either an acquaintance offering expired food from the fridge or an exterminator about to bug bomb the place even though Abbie refuses to leave.

Relaxer 2019

Abbie sits through all of it, for months, maybe even years. He uses a reaching stick to collect rainwater from the broken window, nearly asphyxiates himself with noxious chemicals, and wallows in so much filth that if he ever beats the game, he’ll either be stuck to the couch or physically unable to stand. It’s all so disgusting. To make matters worse, every single character in Relaxer is catastrophically unlikeable.

While Relaxer may feel like an endurance test in every conceivable way, it does an excellent job of getting its point across. It’s meant to be unappealing to all senses. It’s meant to show how desperate Abbie becomes in pursuit of his challenge. It’s meant to be uncomfortable and claustrophobic. It’s almost as if writer-director Joel Potrykus made this movie specifically to bother people, and if so, he succeeds in every measurable way.

Relaxer 2019

As of this writing, Relaxer is streaming for free on Tubi.

Angie Harmon Reveals She Rekindled Romance With Boyfriend Tony Floyd

Published

Angie Harmon and her boyfriend Tony Floyd’s romance was more than three decades in the making.

“Happy Valentine’s Day Tony Floyd @studioavafilms …. 27 years later! I love you!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” the Law & Order actress, 53, captioned a series of photos with Floyd via Instagram on Saturday, February 14.

Floyd, for his part, revealed how the pair found their way back to each other years after they first met as teenagers.

“We met in Italy at eighteen — two kids scrambling for work, chasing modeling dreams, trying to build a life without starving along the way,” Floyd captioned a Sunday, February 15, Instagram post featuring pictures of Harmon. “There was a spark between us even then… but the timing wasn’t right. In our twenties, we found ourselves in LA, both chasing acting. You were always better than me. But we were together. And we were in love.”

Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor’s romance has been one for the ages — and it all started with a little social media flirtation! Paulson and Taylor met in 2005 — an entire decade before they actually began dating. The lovebirds, who first crossed paths at a party, were both in committed relationships at the time. However, the sparks were undeniable. […]

The captioned continued, “You found your passion on the screen. I found mine shaping surfboards in Costa Mesa. Still, the timing wasn’t ours. And then, after twenty-seven years, our paths crossed again — by chance, or maybe by fate. Now the timing is right. Now is our time, my love. My strength. My everything. My Angie. I love you beyond anything words can hold.

You are still the same kind, loving, breathtaking, passionate fighter I met thirty-five years ago on that subway platform in Italy. Only now, we know who we are. And we know what we have. Let’s roll, my Valentine. @angieharmon.”

The couple received an outpouring of love after revealing their rekindled romance.

“Nothing beats love,” one person commented under Floyd’s post, while a second person said, “Wow!! What an amazing story and your pics are incredible!! I’m so happy for you both and that you came back together in perfect timing!!! May u all have all the love and happiness for years to come!! 👏🥰🔥❤️.”

Sophia Bush wrote, “Overjoyed for you, @angieharmon. For you both! Timing is everything ✨.”

Prior to her relationship with Floyd, Harmon was married to Jason Sehorn from 2001 to 2016. They share three daughters, Finley, 22, Avery, 20, and Emery, 17.

After her divorce, Harmon opened up about raising her daughters as a single mom.

“When it’s just you, there’s a different sort of survival set of skills that take over, you pay more attention to things that you wouldn’t normally,” she told People in December 2023. “You are more aware of things that you wouldn’t normally be.”

“You learn to be independent in a different way,” the Rizzoli & Isles actress said. “There’s a toughness that comes along with someone who constantly has to travel by themselves and protect three girls.”

Harmon told the outlet she was “realistic” about motherhood and “what my life requires.”

“I’m the protector and the provider and the nurturer. I’m all the things,” she explained. “It’s just bizarre because I’m the one that changes the light bulbs in the 12-foot ceilings and I’m the one that carries the 60-lb bag of dog food from the grocery store to the car.”

Harmon also opened up about navigating dating following her split from Sehorn.

“I don’t think I’d do [online dating],” Harmon told Closer Weekly in July 2017. “I need to suss it out a lot before I go on a date.”
