Nevaeh Akira Responds To Jaidyn Alexis’ Comments About Her & Blueface’s Newborn Son

Nevaeh Akira has entered the chat after Jaidyn Alexis said her kids won’t be meeting her and Blueface’s newborn son. Jaidyn questioned the paternity of Nevaeh and Blue’s baby boy, but Nevaeh quickly clapped back in a new video, making it clear that Jonathan Jamal Porter Jr. is definitely the rapper’s son. “This is his baby, b**ch. Hello! It’s his baby b***h.”

Nevaeh also addressed Jaidyn’s shade over naming her son after Bueface, explaining that she had to use his full name if he’s a junior. “Yeah, Jonathan Jamal Porter Jr. That’s him!” She continued, “How the f**k can I take a child’s middle name if that’s the n***a whole full f*****g name.” From there, she called Jaidyn bitter and said it’s okay if she’s mad and hating. “See I’m not a bitter a** b***h, but I get you is. It’s okay, though. Love to all. Love all!”

Social Media Didn’t Hold Back After Nevaeh Entered The Chat

Chile, the comments went OFF in The Shade Room Teens’ comment section after Nevaeh responded to Jaidyn. Plenty of folks said they want better for Nevaeh, while others said they see nothing wrong with her and Blue choosing to name their baby after him.

Jaidyn Alexis Doubles Down On Keeping Her Kids Away From Nevaeh & Blueface’s Son

Recently, Jaidyn Alexis spoke exclusively with TMZ and kept it real about how she feels about Blueface and Nevaeh’s son. She said she has no plans for her kids to meet their new sibling.

“No plans for that,” Jaidyn added, “Not anywhere near close by.”

Jaidyn also said she doesn’t think Blueface is moving right and thinks the name could eventually bother their son, Javaughn.

“I think it’s mad disrespectful that you would name some kid that you don’t even know if yours with the same middle name as Javaughn. It could’ve been a Jonathan Porter […] it could’ve been. But it didn’t need to have all that. So I feel like you’re mad disrespectful to my son,” she said.

Alexis continued to go off on Nevaeh, claiming that her constant videos online are just an act. She also said she believes Nevaeh always wanted to have a rapper as her child’s father.

“All that victim stuff that’s going on […] not going for it. And I hope the world isn’t going for it,” Jaidyn added. “I think she got what she came for. I think she wanted a rapper baby dad and a baby. And now you’re sitting there like, ‘Oh, I thought you were going to change.’ Why would he change?’ He’s been the same for 15 years. Are you stupid or slow?”

Ricky Schroder Doubles Down On Dolly Parton Vaccine Criticism

Published

on

CMA Music Festival 2024

Ricky Schroder is standing by his criticism of Dolly Parton’s COVID-19 vaccine advocacy following her death at 80. The actor has now claimed he personally warned the country icon against supporting vaccination efforts and that she should have listened.

Among the celebrities who slammed him for his original post, the band Garbage point-blank told him to “f-ck off.”

Ricky Schroder has doubled down on his criticism of Dolly Parton’s vaccine advocacy just days after the country music legend’s death.

The “NYPD Blue” actor shared a clip on his Instagram Story in which Parton discusses her Moderna COVID-19 vaccination. Parton famously donated $1 million toward early coronavirus vaccine research.

“I warned Dolly to not support the Experiment,” Schroder wrote over the clip, according to Entertainment Weekly. He added that he “wished she listened,” alongside a frowning emoji.

Schroder previously played Parton’s father in the TV movies “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors” and “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.”

Schroder Comes Under Fire For Political Dolly Parton Tribute

Schroder found himself embroiled in a heated internet backlash after using a memorial post for country music legend Dolly Parton to highlight his personal political grievances.

Following Parton’s passing at age 80, the “NYPD Blue” star took to social media to share a throwback photo of himself alongside the late icon.

However, it was the caption accompanying the image that quickly sparked heavy backlash.

“I didn’t agree with her advocating for Transgender & Covid Vaccine support…but Loved her anyway. Thank you for choosing me Dolly to be your Movie Daddy,” Schroder shared on Threads.

Schroder famously portrayed Parton’s father, Robert Lee Parton, in the 2015 NBC television film “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors” and its 2016 sequel, “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.”

He previously explained that the late “Jolene” singer herself had personally selected him for the role, noting at the time that he reminded her of her actual father.

“It started with Dolly, who was very hands-on in choosing the cast for her family,” Schroder said. “Then I heard from Dolly that I reminded her of her father Lee Parton.”

Regardless of the cordial professional relationship he had with Parton, fans and public figures were quick to call Schroder out for airing his ideological differences during a moment of global mourning.

Rock band Garbage gave a blunt and fiery two-word rebuttal, telling him to “f-ck off,” while Brandon Frankel, partner to Gabourey Sidibe, commented, “Way to ruin your tribute -sshole.”

Comedian Murray Hill wrote, “Guess you didn’t listen to her thoughts on not judging people and allowing people to be who they are. How lame to be divisive and hate-fueled in the same breath as someone who has done so much and is filled with love and empathy. No love like Christian hate.”

A Reddit user wrote, “Using someone’s death as an excuse to advocate for something they would have hated is pretty low, yeah.”

A second user fired, “If your ‘tribute’ includes telling the world how a person was wrong, then it isn’t a tribute, it’s a last dig.”

Dolly Parton Passed After A Private Battle With Cancer

Meanwhile, tributes continue to pour in for the global icon from all quarters, including Donald Trump, Barack Obama, Jeff Bezos, Miley Cyrus, and a host of other Hollywood celebrities.

She has been celebrated not just for her hit songs, but also for her extensive philanthropy, including a famous $1 million donation to Vanderbilt University Medical Center that helped with COVID-19 research.

A rep for the singer told PEOPLE that she passed after a “brief battle with cancer,” although its exact nature remains unclear. Days before the shocking news, TMZ reported that she was hospitalized with “kidney and autoimmune issues.”

“Our beloved Dolly Parton spent her life and career bringing joy, laughter, hope, and integrity into everything she touched. Her unmatched generosity reached the lives of countless people whom she would never meet, yet she was always there to offer a helping hand,” the reps told the news outlet.

They added, “Whether it be the hundreds of millions of books donated through her invaluable Imagination Library or funding research that helped create a lifesaving vaccine used around the world, Dolly’s unconditional love for all people was the guiding force for her lasting impact. After bravely facing a brief battle with cancer, Dolly departed her Earthly life today at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, surrounded by loved ones.”

Tom Hanks’ Beloved 189-Minute Stephen King Classic Climbs to #1 on Streaming

Published

on

01395561_poster_w780.jpg

Few movie stars carry as much name recognition as Tom Hanks, who has starred in some of the most important movies of all time. Hanks is a two-time Oscar-winner, and he even won his awards in back-to-back years for his performances in Philadelphia and Forrest Gump. Hanks was nominated five years prior for his work on Big, and he’s also been nominated for his performances in Saving Private Ryan, Cast Away, and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood — most fans agree that Hanks losing for Saving Private Ryan is one of the most surprising snubs of all time. More recently, Hanks starred in one of the most underrated Apple TV projects in history with Greyhound, the WWII submarine thriller co-starring Stephen Graham. Hanks and Graham are set to return in a sequel to Greyhound that’s coming to Apple TV soon.

The longest movie of Hanks’ career recently celebrated its 25th anniversary a few years ago, when 2024 marked 25 years since The Green Mile hit theaters around the world. Based on the famous novel of the same name by Stephen King, The Green Mile clocks in with a behemoth runtime of three hours and nine minutes, making it almost 20 full minutes longer than the second-longest movie of Hanks’ career, Cloud Atlas. The Green Mile also stars the late Michael Clarke Duncan, and although it’s been over 25 years since the film was in theaters, it’s still relevant even to this day. The Green Mile is lacking a streaming home in America right now, but the film has quietly become one of the top 10 most-popular VOD purchases around the world on Prime Video and Apple TV in several countries.

Your Universe Has Been Chosen
You Belong In…

Your answers point to the iconic universe your values, your instincts, and your particular way of seeing the world were built for. This is where you would find your people — and your purpose.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

You believe in the cause — in the idea that freedom is worth fighting for even when the odds are impossible and the empire is vast.

  • You are drawn to the moral clarity of a universe where hope itself is a form of resistance.
  • You’d find your people in the Rebellion — a ragtag coalition of true believers held together by conviction more than resources.
  • Star Wars is fundamentally a story about ordinary people choosing to matter in an extraordinary conflict — and that is exactly your kind of story.
  • The Force may or may not be with you. But the will to use it for something larger than yourself certainly is.

Middle-earth

Lord of the Rings

You understand, in the deepest part of yourself, that the journey matters as much as the destination — and that the world’s beauty is worth protecting even at great cost.

  • Middle-earth is a world of ancient wonder, deep friendship, and a darkness that only retreats when enough small acts of courage accumulate.
  • You would thrive here because you value the fellowship more than the glory — the road more than the arrival.
  • Tolkien’s universe rewards patience, loyalty, and the willingness to carry something heavy across a very long distance.
  • Those are not burdens to you. They are simply how you move through the world.

The Wizarding World

Harry Potter

You believe that love, loyalty, and doing what’s right are not naive sentiments — they are the most powerful forces in any world, magical or otherwise.

  • The Wizarding World is a place of wonder hidden in plain sight, where learning is transformative and the bonds you form at school follow you into every battle.
  • You would flourish here because you take both the magic and the friendships seriously — and you understand that one without the other is incomplete.
  • Harry Potter’s universe ultimately rewards those who choose to stand for something even when standing is terrifying.
  • That choice — made quietly, without guarantee — is something you understand completely.

Westeros · The Known World

Game of Thrones

You see the world clearly — its power structures, its hypocrisies, its brutal arithmetic — and you are not paralysed by that clarity. You use it.

  • Westeros is a world that rewards intelligence, adaptability, and the willingness to understand that every alliance is also a negotiation.
  • You would survive here — possibly thrive here — because you don’t confuse the world as it is with the world as you’d like it to be.
  • Game of Thrones is a story about what happens when the idealists and the realists collide. You are sharp enough to know which one lasts longer.
  • Winter always comes. You are already prepared.

The United Federation of Planets

Star Trek

You believe the future is worth building — that curiosity, cooperation, and the expansion of understanding are not just ideals but the most practical path forward for any civilisation.

  • Star Trek is a universe where the questions matter as much as the answers, and where encountering something utterly alien is cause for wonder rather than fear.
  • You would belong here because you are fundamentally optimistic about what intelligence and decency can achieve — while being honest about how hard that achievement is.
  • The Federation is the universe’s most ambitious thought experiment: what if we actually got better?
  • You don’t just hope that’s possible. You think it’s the only thing worth working toward.

What Is ‘The Green Mile’ About?

The official synopsis for The Green Mile, which earned scores of 78% from critics and 94% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, reads as follows: “Paul Edgecomb walks the mile with a variety of cons. He has never encountered someone like John Coffey, a massive black man convicted of brutally killing a pair of young sisters. Coffey has the size and strength to kill anyone, but not the demeanor. Beyond his simple, naive nature and a deathly fear of the dark, Coffey seems to possess a prodigious, supernatural gift. Paul begins to question whether Coffey is truly guilty of murdering the two girls.” Additional cast members for The Green Mile include David Morse as Brutus Howell, Bonnie Hunt as Jan Edgecomb, James Cromwell as Warden Hal Moores, and Graham Greene as Arlen Bitterbuck.

Check out The Green Mile on VOD platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of Tom Hanks’ future projects.

Peter Cullen’s Legendary Sci-Fi Monster Is Officially Hunting Its Way Off Streaming

Published

on

Predator-1987

One of the longest-running sci-fi franchises in history recently saw a resurgence thanks to a string of well-received films. In fact, the franchise appears to be in better shape than Ridley Scott’s Alien series, which hasn’t shown significant progress since the successful Alien: Romulus in theaters and Alien: Earth on television. Its counterpart, on the other hand, recently returned to the big screen after carefully seeding a comeback on streaming. It remains to be seen where the series will go next, but the reception of the most recent installments has certainly piqued interest in its origins. Now, fans can revisit the movie with which it all began before it leaves Peacock in a few days.

The franchise started in 1987 with a hit movie that is now regarded as a classic of the sci-fi action genre. It was headlined by the biggest action star of the 1980s, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and was released only a few years after the success of James Cameron’s The Terminator. The movie grossed nearly $100 million worldwide — $20 million more than Cameron’s film — against a reported budget of $18 million and spawned a series that has experienced several ups and downs in the decades since.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

Here’s How Long You Have Left to Watch the Sci-Fi Action Hit on Peacock

We’re talking, of course, about Predator, directed by John McTiernan. Incidentally, McTiernan is responsible for directing three franchise-starters. In addition to Predator, he also directed Die Hard and The Hunt for Red October; not to mention The Thomas Crown Affair, which is about to be remade by Michael B. Jordan. Predator follows a group of soldiers sent to rescue hostages in a South American jungle, but are faced with an alien threat (voiced by Peter Cullen). It holds a 65% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, and will be available on Peacock until September 1. After a couple of failed reboots — Predators, released in 2011, and The Predator, released in 2018 — the series was given a shot in the arm by director Dan Trachtenberg with a trio of well-received installments, Prey, Predator: Killer of Killers, and Predator: Badlands. Hailey Bieber’s Dad Sparks Concern With Tearful TikTok Video

Published

on

Stephen Baldwin shopping at Studio City Farmer's Market

Stephen Baldwin left some social media users concerned and confused after sharing an emotional TikTok video of himself crying while listening to Christian music. The 60-year-old actor, who has spoken openly about his faith and decision to step away from mainstream Hollywood, recorded himself listening to Clara Woods’ “This Is the Air I Breathe.”

Baldwin appeared overwhelmed by the song as tears filled his eyes, but he did not indicate that he was experiencing a personal crisis. The video instead appeared to be an emotional expression of his religious devotion.

In the TikTok upload, Baldwin wore a black baseball cap backward as he listened to the worship song and began to cry. “So blessed. So blessed. So blessed. He is the air I breathe #Hallelujah,” he wrote in the caption. He then told his 401,000 followers to “have a great day.”

Although Baldwin presented the moment as a positive experience connected to his faith, several viewers admitted that the unexplained display made them uncomfortable.

“Terrifying per usual. Thank you, Stephen,” one person wrote. Another directly called upon his daughter, Hailey Bieber, to intervene. “Hailey, girl, come collect your father… he’s freaking us out,” the commenter wrote. “Well hallelujah but you’re scaring me, dude,” another person added.

Fans Questioned Why He Recorded The Emotional Moment

Other TikTok users questioned Baldwin’s decision to film and publicly share himself crying. “This is scary,” one viewer wrote, while another asked, “…sure, but why record this moment?”

One critic went even further by speculating about Baldwin’s mental state, writing, “It’s just so hard to tell where the [mental breakdown] ends, and the Christianity begins.”

Despite the public speculation, Baldwin did not say he was experiencing a mental health emergency. Hailey has not publicly responded to the video or the comments asking her to check on her father.

The Actor Explained Why He Left Mainstream Hollywood

The upload arrived shortly after Baldwin discussed the role Christianity has played in reshaping his personal life and career. Earlier this month, Baldwin told PEOPLE that his fascination with Christianity ultimately changed the direction of his life. “Jesus and the Holy Spirit fascinated me,” he said.

The actor explained that he found himself facing a major career decision after playing McManus in the 1995 crime thriller “The Usual Suspects.” “I probably could have pointed myself in the direction of becoming a big star,” Baldwin told the outlet. “But that wasn’t me. I didn’t want to be Tom Cruise, and have to make $100 million at the box office.”

Baldwin instead prioritized his faith and ministry work over pursuing the kind of mainstream Hollywood career enjoyed by some of his contemporaries. His spiritual journey followed several major changes in his personal life. Baldwin became sober in 1989, married his wife, Kennya Baldwin, in 1990, and became a born-again Christian in 2001. He is also the younger brother of actors Alec Baldwin, William Baldwin, and Daniel Baldwin.

Hailey Bieber’s Business Profile Continues To Grow

While Baldwin remains focused on faith, his daughter has been strengthening her reputation as a beauty entrepreneur. Hailey is no longer viewed solely as a model or the wife of Justin Bieber following the blockbuster sale of Rhode to e.l.f. Beauty. The cosmetics company acquired the skincare brand Hailey founded in a deal valued at $1 billion last year.

Hailey remained involved after the acquisition, becoming Rhode’s chief creative officer and head of innovation. The arrangement allows her to continue directing the company’s products and creative identity. Her influence became even more apparent after e.l.f. Beauty reported a 36% increase in quarterly sales, reaching $479.4 million. Executives attributed a significant portion of that growth to Rhode.

“The Rhode acquisition wasn’t the finish line,” a beauty industry executive told the Daily Mail. “It was her introduction. She became someone executives wanted in the room when real business decisions were being made.”

Justin Bieber Is Rebuilding His Live Career

Hailey Bieber’s growing business momentum comes as her husband, Justin Bieber, works to reestablish himself as a live performer. The singer previously stepped away from touring after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome in 2022. The condition temporarily paralyzed part of his face and forced him to prioritize his health.

Justin’s return to the stage has generated enormous attention, but the response has not always been positive. His halftime performance during the World Cup Final drew mixed reactions from viewers, while some of his other public appearances have fueled speculation about his well-being.

The contrasting trajectories have placed Hailey and Justin in noticeably different professional chapters. As Justin attempts to rebuild the touring career that illness disrupted, Hailey is strengthening her influence in the beauty industry following Rhode’s $1 billion sale.

When Chris Sails came to the attention of the authorities earlier this month, the situation reportedly took a serious turn after officers received information that prompted an emergency response. What happened next allegedly had law enforcement scrambling to locate his children before investigators determined that the story they were given didn’t add up.

Chris Sails’ Behavior Drew Police Attention

According to a TMZ Exclusive, the incident began on Aug. 16 when the Waller County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a suspicious person who was allegedly running around and jumping onto residents’ vehicles. When a deputy arrived, court documents reportedly state that Sails was sitting in the roadway near a light pole and appeared to be praying. Moments later, he allegedly began rolling around in the street.

Authorities Searched For Sails’ Children Following Alleged Claim

During questioning, authorities allege that Sails told officers his children had fallen into a body of water behind his home. Police then launched an emergency search-and-rescue effort involving fire department vehicles, boats, specialized equipment, and aerial drones. The search was eventually called off after authorities reportedly located the children safe with family members.

Chris Sails Released After Posting Bond

Sails was arrested on Aug. 17 and released the following day after posting bond. He reportedly faces misdemeanor charges for knowingly making a false statement to a police officer and evading arrest or detention. Bonds were set at $25,000 and $10,000, respectively. Sails has built a sizable following online. He currently has nearly 3 million YouTube subscribers and close to 760,000 Instagram followers.

It’s also worth noting that Sails’ current Instagram profile picture appears to show what could be a mugshot, though it has not been confirmed and may potentially be AI-generated. Moreover, it’s unclear how long the image has been his profile photo. And, it’s also unclear whether it has any connection to his recent arrest.

Kelly Clarkson Says ‘A Lot’ Happened in Life Amid Talk Show

Kelly Clarkson is looking back on her seven-year journey hosting her own talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, ahead of its final episode.

“You know what? [In our] seven seasons, a lot has happened in my personal life and a lot has happened in life for everyone,” Clarkson, 44, said in a YouTube video published Friday, August 28. “There’s been a pandemic. I think, if there’s a word to describe The Kelly Clarkson Show, it’s ‘pivot.’ There’s not been one normal season, I feel like, but at the same time; what a necessary thing to have to come to work and focus on other people.”

She continued, “I think that saved me, honestly, a lot of times [and] I think this show has made everyone better at what they do.”

Clarkson debuted her eponymous NBC daytime show in 2019, one year before the coronavirus pandemic forced production to go virtual. The former American Idol champ later moved the show to New York City in 2023 following her messy divorce from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock. (Blackstock died in 2025 at age 48 after a private battle with cancer.)

For Kelly Clarkson, the choice wasn’t about walking away — it was about making space for what mattered most. After months of speculation, the singer revealed on February 2 that she’s leaving her daytime talk show after its current seventh season. “This was not an easy decision,” she said in an emotional Instagram post. “Stepping […]

Clarkson announced in February that she decided to wrap her show to prioritize her family, including kids River Rose, 12, and Remington, 10, she shared with Blackstock.

Ahead of the Monday, August 31, finale, Clarkson recalled her tenure as a talk show host.

“Well, it was brought up to me with my ex and he was like, ‘Hey, NBC was talking about maybe doing a talk show with me,’ and I was, like, ‘OK, that’s the worst idea ever ‘cause I never shut up,’” Clarkson recalled of Blackstock’s pitch for the then-new show’s concept. “You know, nobody really knew my personality to the extent of what it is until The Voice, and I think they saw how comfortable on-camera I am and how, like, I’m all in.”

She added, “I’m very present. I think they saw that and it’s really just me. I’m the same kid at 19 that auditioned for Idol that everybody got to know in the first place. Working with those producers on that show and having to do the little segments here and there and that probably prepped me a little, and I didn’t realize it.”

Once Clarkson filmed the talk show’s pilot episode, she admitted her “ignorance [was] kind of bliss” before producers found the series “really worked” with test audiences.

“Sometimes, a lot of times, I’m just sitting across from people going, ‘How did I get the chance to talk to you?’” she quipped of her onscreen celebrity interviews. “All these incredible people that I’ve really looked up to. You know, Julie Andrews, I’ve talked to her a couple times. Who says that? We’ve literally had people that are in the White House. I mean, it’s been everyone from Heart to Alanis [Morissette] to, I mean, I’ve had Pink on here. I’ve been singing with people that I’m just, like, ‘What?’”

Receiving a yearbook of her The Kelly Clarkson Show memories on Friday, the singer mused how much has changed in the seven years since the show’s inception.

“See, I forget some of these things. And honestly, for me, my kids have grown up on this show, too,” she said. “Like, it’s been seven years, and these are the growing years for them right now. It’s been crazy.”

Celine Dion on her way to the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Celine Dion has yet to share with fans which song she will perform first for her run of shows in Paris as she makes her music comeback.

The veteran singer is choosing to remain tight-lipped about the song, leaving her die-hards guessing about which options from her catalogue she would eventually select.

Dion has been largely away from the spotlight since 2022, when she disclosed her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis.

Celine Dion is set to return to public performances for the first time since 2024, and fans are highly eager to see her take to the stage again.

Her first series of concerts will be held in Paris between September and October at the Plenitude Arena in the French capital’s western suburbs, and the singer has confirmed that she is ready.

However, for her first show, she will be keeping the title of her first song under wraps until she gets on stage, as revealed in a recent interview with French broadcaster BFMTV.

“I can’t say, it’s a big secret,” Dion said of her first song when asked by the media outlet.

Regarding how she feels about returning to public performances after such a long absence, Dion confirmed that she is ready but admitted she still feels some nerves.

“I am ready, and I’m a bit uptight, of course, because it’s been a long time,” she said elsewhere in her interview.

Still, she is hoping to bank on the support she has always received from her fans in Paris to deliver stellar performances across her shows in the city.

“I have always felt supported from the first day and because it’s a story that continues. It’s true that this is my second home,” the Quebec-born singer added.

Dion’s return to public performance comes after she announced it in a broadcast beneath the city’s iconic Eiffel Tower to mark her birthday earlier in the year.

“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life,” the 58-year-old said. “I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September! I’m feeling good. I’m strong. I’m feeling excited — obviously a little nervous — but most of all, I’m grateful to all of you.”

The five-time Grammy winner will kick off the Paris residency on September 12, followed by more than a dozen shows, which end on October 17. The singer is also expected to perform 10 more shows in May next year.

Fans who have followed Dion over the years know she has been dealing with stiff-person syndrome, which she first disclosed in 2022.

In her birthday message, she thanked fans for their prayers and also shared a health update to allay their fears about her well-being.

“I’ve recorded a lot of birthday messages, but this is the first time I’ve ever recorded one for my own birthday,” the vocalist shared at the start of the clip. “I want to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good. I’m singing again, even doing a little dancing.”

For Harper’s Bazaar September issue, Dion drew back the curtain on her stiff-person syndrome, revealing she had lived with the symptoms for nearly two decades before receiving a formal diagnosis.

She described the ailment as a “progressive condition,” adding that she felt uncomfortable referring to it as a disease.

In the interview, she also revealed her preparation for her upcoming residency. This includes regular 90-minute Pilates sessions, ballet classes, and a rehabilitation program to help her perform at her best.

Elsewhere, she shared that her comeback was inspired by a desire to show fans how much she missed them during her leave of absence.

Cardi B at Revolve Festival 2025

Cardi B has seemingly touched on the multiple industry beefs she’s been embroiled in over the years, saying she doesn’t really care as it majorly springs from “jealousy.”

The “Bodak Yellow” singer also rued fame and all it comes with, admitting that she sometimes feels like she “didn’t apply for this.”

Cardi B has been involved in a very public feud with Nicki Minaj, with both of them going so far as to attack each other’s kids. She has also called out her estranged husband publicly, accusing him of spite, jealousy, and theft.

Cardi B is pulling back on the harsh realities that come with her superstar status, particularly the never-ending media scrutiny and the public feuds she has been dragged into.

In a wide-ranging interview with Vogue Arabia, the Grammy winner spoke about her new single “Ah Ha,” which comes with a catchy beat over lyrics hitting back at naysayers who want to see her go down.

“This is for everyone who thinks I’m worried about them. I don’t care about you,” she said when asked who the song is aimed at.

She continued, “There’s a lot of jealousy around me all the time. All the time! It comes from these girls who think I want their baby daddy or that they are equal to me. Also from these guys… From everybody!”

The Hitmaker Admits Fame Comes With ‘A Lot’

The “Wap” rapper was then pressed for her thoughts on fame and everything it comes with.

Cardi B, born Belcalis Almánzar, expressed satisfaction at all the things she’s been able to achieve and how her rise has helped prove many people wrong.

“I have proven a lot of people wrong over and over and over again. It makes me feel good that I achieved things that nobody else did,” she said.

However, she admitted that fame comes with its own toll, which she didn’t bargain for while starting out.

“That’s why they say to be careful about what you wish for because you just might get it. Being a celebrity comes with a lot, and sometimes I feel I didn’t apply for this. But hey, it is what it is,” she explained. “You can’t really protect yourself. You are never gonna be ready for this type of pressure, you know? You just gotta find a mechanism that works for you.”

She added, “But whatever mechanism you decide on, just don’t turn to drugs, okay? I know it’s hard. I know it really is. Being famous is almost like a mental game, but whatever you do, just don’t do drugs.”

Over the years, the 33-year-old Bronx native has made headlines for several industry beefs and personal issues with her romantic partners.

One of the most prominent of those is her feud with Nicki Minaj, which began almost a decade ago as an extension of the latter’s beef with Remy Ma.

Both ladies initially tried to deny speculation that their relationship had soured after Cardi B performed at Remy Ma’s concert, but in 2018, Nicki Minaj accused her of not showing “genuine love.”

Last year, things went too far as both rappers took aimed shots at each other’s kids.

Nicki called Kulture “ugly” and “a roach & a monkey,” after which Cardi B referenced rumors that her child is neurodivergent, per REVOLT.

“Your hate is so deep, dark and nasty because your son nonverbal cuz you f-cked him up wit them drugs so you jealous of everybody kids and their happiness!!!” she said.

Cardi B has also had her split from estranged husband Offset play out in public.

The pair were in an on-again, off-again relationship that began in 2017 until the “I Like It” rapper filed for divorce in July 2024, after previously calling off the one she filed in September 2020.

During a 2025 appearance on an X Space, she accused him of being spiteful toward her and their kids.

“I’ve been alright all of 2025. But this morning, motherf-ckers decided to disturb my peace. So since people want to disturb my peace, I’m gonna disturb everybody’s f-cking peace myself,” she said.

In that interaction, she made several allegations against him, including claims he wouldn’t agree to her divorce terms and doesn’t show love to their kids.

Cardi B went further to allege that Offset and his mother, Latabia Woodward, “robbed” her, among other unsettling claims.

“I ain’t listen after you and your mama robbed me. Yeah, you and your mom robbed me cold, wiped my nose. Told you stop f-cking playing with me,” she said.

The “Money” rapper then explained that she realized Offset was kind of against her after he accused her of being “competitive” with him for posting his album and writing, “I’m next.”

According to USA Today, she also expressed regret over being with him during a livestream interaction.

“Nothing surprises me anymore. You’ve done it all, so I don’t care,” she said. “Thank you for my kids, though. All three of them, I don’t regret none of them. But I regret you. I don’t regret my kids; you’re a good daddy. You’re all right.”

Jason Momoa’s Underrated Western Is Officially the Perfect Watch for Taylor Sheridan Fans

Published

on

A photo from down low of Jason Momoa holding an axe in a scene from Braven.

Jason Momoa has two big blockbusters still to hit theaters in 2026. The first is a live-action adaptation of Street Fighter, directed by Kitao Sakurai, and featuring Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken, Callina Liang as Chun-Li, David Dastmalchian as M. Bison, and Momoa as Blanka. Street Fighter will be released by Paramount Pictures on October 16, 2026, marking the final step in Momoa’s 2026 filmography before his biggest film of the year: Dune: Part Three.

The final installment in Denis Villeneuve‘s acclaimed adaptation of Frank Herbert‘s Dune novels, the third Dune movie will make its global theatrical splash on December 18, the same day as Avengers: Doomsday. Oscar nominee Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides will once again lead a stacked cast, which also includes Momoa as Hayt, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, and more. In anticipation of Momoa’s next two blockbusters, one of his lesser-spotted movies is about to be available for free.

The film in question is the neo-Western Braven, directed by Lin Oeding and written by Mike Nilon and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett, which features Momoa in a kill-or-be-killed stand for survival after a quiet trip to a remote cabin is interrupted by a gang of ruthless drug traffickers. Momoa might be known for his bold, loud performances, but in Braven, he tones it down, producing one of his most subdued and subsequently stirring performances yet. A truly underrated entry into the Game of Thrones favorite’s filmography, Braven will be available to stream for free on Plex starting September 1, 2026.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

Although his first film of the year alongside Dave Bautista in Prime Video’s The Wrecking Crew proved an undeniable streaming smash, Momoa’s big summer movie of 2026 came in the form of Supergirl, which followed last year’s box office success, Superman. Alas, Milly Alcock‘s first headliner as Kara Zor-El couldn’t recreate Superman‘s success, becoming quickly unstuck and whimpering out of theaters with just $126 million worldwide, against a reported budget of $170 million. “Supergirl didn’t meet our box office expectations,” said DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran about Supergirl. “It’s just one component of a broader, long-term strategy at DC Studios that we remain confident in.”

Braven will be available to stream for free on Plex starting September 1, 2026. Stay tuned to Collider for more streaming stories.
