According to Us Weekly, on Friday, April 24, “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney and music executive Scooter Braun attended the Stagecoach country music festival together in Indio, California.

Per the outlet, the two danced along to the music and turned up the PDA at one point, when Braun hoisted Sweeney onto his shoulders so the actress could get a better view.

The two initially met in July 2025 when they attended the star-studded wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez in Venice.

After that, they went on a series of public dates, including a trip to an amusement park where they were seen hand-in-hand in the company of Sweeney’s mom, Lisa, and her father, Steven.

They have appeared to settle into their relationship amid Sweeney’s busy acting schedule, but sources noted that work strain between the couple has not caused them to drift apart, and their romance is “still going strong.”

“It’s a very casual, laid-back relationship,” an inside source previously told Us Weekly. “Sydney is not looking to settle down right now.”

The insider added, “She has been hesitant to get into another serious relationship but is enjoying her time with him.”

A source close to the film spoke exclusively to Entertainment Weekly, detailing what Sweeney’s role would have been and why her cameo was cut out.

Per the insider, Sweeney was to appear in a scene with Emily Blunt at her Dior office as Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Stanley Tucci arrive to ask for her help. Sweeney appeared as herself in the scene that was described as three minutes long.

Sweeney’s cameo “did not work structurally with the rest of the sequence,” leading to a “creative decision” to cut her from the film entirely. The source also shared that the film’s team was “grateful” for her participation.

On April 12, after a more than four-year wait, “Euphoria” finally returned to catch up with the cast of characters as they venture into adulthood via a five-year time jump.

However, many fans couldn’t get past the scenes of Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard. This season, Cassie has embarked on a career on OnlyFans, resulting in her taking very suggestive and highly sexualized photos that many have deemed degrading.

Some critics have gone even further, accusing “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson of leaning into “disturbing” and “misogynistic” storylines more than ever in comparison to previous seasons.

In her very first scene in season three, Sweeney is dressed as a dog, as she pants, eats out of a bowl, and is led on a leash. Additionally, the following episode sees her dressed as an adult baby with her legs spread while sucking a pacifier and also being topless with ice cream dripping down her nipples.

Other scenes feature Sweeney wearing a soaking wet American flag T-shirt without a bra and also dressed as a baseball catcher in only a nude thong.

Speaking to the consensus of her scenes, one social media user asked, “How is Sydney even agreeing to do this season of Euphoria?” while another said, “Why would Sydney agree to doing allat… weird.”

Another described the scenes as a “humiliation ritual,” and added, “Please God, I can’t keep seeing Cassie degrade herself in the most embarrassing ways imaginable.”

According to Variety, episode two of the current third season of “Euphoria,” which aired April 19, amassed 8.5 million viewers across HBO and HBO Max in its first three days. Those numbers match the viewership of the April 12 season premiere.

Additionally, the global total for “Euphoria” season three has surpassed 20 million viewers to date, which is a 68% increase in global viewership from the second season premiere in the same timeframe.

Banderas And Griffith’s Reunion Hints At Lasting Bond

Published

quot Competencia Oficial quot Red Carpet - The 78th Venice International Film Festival

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith ended their marriage over a decade ago, but their latest outing proves some connections don’t fade.

The former couple sparked fresh buzz after stepping out together in Los Angeles, looking relaxed and close as ever.

Joined by their daughter Stella, the pair appeared completely at ease, reminding fans that their relationship has evolved rather than disappeared since their 2014 split.

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith turned heads over the weekend when they were spotted enjoying a dinner outing in Los Angeles.

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed the former couple walking side by side, even linking arms as they made their way through the city.

Their easy chemistry suggested that, despite ending their marriage years ago, they’ve managed to maintain a strong bond.

Their daughter, Stella Banderas, was also present, trailing just behind them as the trio spent time together.

Stella appeared stylish in a coordinated ivory look, while her parents complemented each other with equally polished outfits.

Antonio opted for black trousers and a silver jacket, while Griffith kept things casual-chic in jeans and a black moto jacket.

Antonio’s Marriage To Griffith Ended On Good Terms

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith’s relationship began in the mid-90s when they met while filming “Two Much.”

Their connection quickly turned serious, leading to marriage in May 1996 and the birth of their daughter later that year.

After nearly two decades together, they announced their separation in 2014. However, unlike many high-profile breakups, theirs was notably calm.

In their joint statement at the time, they shared, “We have thoughtfully and consensually decided to finalize our almost twenty-year marriage in a loving and friendly manner honoring and respecting each other, our family and friends and the beautiful time we have spent together – Melanie & Antonio.”

Their divorce was finalized the following year, but their approach to co-parenting and mutual respect has remained consistent ever since.

Over the years, Antonio has made it clear that his relationship with Griffith didn’t end when their marriage did.

In a 2019 interview with Vulture, the “Spy Kids” actor reflected on their bond and recalled the depth of their friendship, noting, “I am not married with Melanie anymore, but she is my family.”

He continued, emphasizing just how important she still is in his life: “She is probably one of my best friends, if not the best friend that I have. My family is there, Dakota, Little Estella and Alexander.”

The following month, Antonio reemphasized his close relationship with Griffith, telling PEOPLE, “Melanie is not my wife anymore, but I think she is my best friend. I love her and will love her until the day I die. She’s my family.”

Antonio’s First Impression Of Griffith Still Stands Out

Long before their marriage, Antonio Banderas had already been struck by Melanie Griffith during a chance encounter at the Oscars.

Recalling the moment during the Vulture interview, the 65-year-old said, “The first time I went to the Academy Awards after we got a nomination for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, we got on the red carpet and I saw this blonde woman and I knew her because I saw movies of her, but I didn’t remember [her name] at the time.”

Curious, he turned to director Pedro Almodóvar for help identifying her. “So, I said to Pedro Almodóvar, ‘Who is she? Who is she? What is her name?’ Pedro said, ‘That’s Melanie Griffith!’ I said, ‘That’s it. Oh my God.’ Six years later, I was married to her,” Antonio explained.

Overall, the actor described his time with Griffith as “very effervescent and really beautiful.”

Away from his love life, Antonio has no regrets about leaving Hollywood. As The Blast reported, he revealed in March that he had “never been so happy” after stepping away from Hollywood, explaining that his decision to return to his hometown of Málaga, Spain, completely transformed his life.

Following a near-fatal heart attack in 2017, the movie star said the experience was “a really serious warning” that “changed the way I look at life,” prompting him to reassess his priorities and leave behind the fast-paced Hollywood lifestyle.

He sold his private jet, quit smoking, and embraced a quieter, more grounded existence focused on personal fulfillment rather than constant work.

Now based in Málaga with his partner Nicole Kimpel, Antonio has dedicated himself to his Teatro del Soho, a passion project that allows him to return to his roots as a theater actor.

He said the move helped him reconnect with what truly matters, shifting away from material success toward creative satisfaction and community.

The actor has described the change as life-altering, emphasizing that slowing down and focusing on meaningful work has brought him a deeper sense of happiness than he experienced during his Hollywood years.

‘Summer House’ Leak Mystery Ends With Shocking Reveal

Bravo’s tightly controlled reunion drama took an unexpected turn after a leaked audio clip from “Summer House” sent fans into a frenzy.

What initially sparked wild speculation about cast betrayal has now been officially addressed, with the network confirming the truth behind the breach.

As tensions from season 10 continue to unfold, the mystery surrounding the leak has been resolved, and it is not who viewers were pointing fingers at.

After days of online speculation, Bravo has officially closed its investigation into the leaked “Summer House” reunion audio, featuring a heated exchange between cast members, and the findings are clear.

In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, a network spokesperson confirmed, “An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion.  As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken.”

“There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio,” the spokesperson added.

The network also issued a warning as more clips began circulating online. “We take these matters seriously and will continue to take appropriate measures to respond to the unauthorized distribution of our content. We are aware that there is additional improperly obtained audio circulating and we caution all parties and platforms to refrain from posting, sharing, or amplifying any unauthorized audio.”

That conclusion shifts the narrative away from the cast, who had initially been under suspicion as the leak spread across social media.

According to Bravo, the issue originated behind the scenes, not from the reality stars themselves.

Kyle Cooke Reacts To Reunion Leak With Stark Warning To Insider

The revelation comes a few days after Kyle Cooke spoke out as Bravo investigated the shocking leak, warning the person responsible that serious consequences could follow.

As The Blast reported, the “Summer House” OG reacted to the situation, revealing the network had launched what he described as a “full-blown cyber investigation,” adding bluntly, “if you’re the one who leaked [it], you might want to seek cover or counsel.”

Cooke also made it clear he believed the leak was intentional, suggesting it wasn’t a simple accident but rather someone acting on their own.

Host Andy Cohen also didn’t hold back when addressing the situation publicly, calling out the leak in a strongly worded message.

“People laid their souls out emotionally for ten hours yesterday and it’s disgusting and illegal for someone to leak or distribute this. It’s disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in yesterday. Let the season play out. You will see it all in due time,” he revealed per The Blast

His reaction showed just how serious the breach was, especially considering how much of the reunion relies on raw and unfiltered conversations.

Bravo had already made its stance clear earlier, describing the situation as “a serious breach of trust and a clear lack of respect for the cast, crew and the integrity of the production process,” while confirming they had launched a “full investigation” at the time.

‘Summer House’ Reunion Drama Intensifies After Audio Leak

The timing of the leak only made things worse. It dropped shortly after a highly anticipated moment involving Ciara Miller, Amanda Batula, and West Wilson, their first on-camera interaction since news of Batula and Wilson’s relationship became public.

The trio’s complicated history has been one of the biggest storylines this season. Recall that Miller had previously dated Wilson and maintained a close friendship with Batula, making the reunion especially emotional.

The scandal has been so explosive that it has drawn comparisons to “Vanderpump Rules” infamous “Scandoval.”

However, unlike that situation, the “Summer House” reunion will not change its format to dig deeper into the drama.

In the meantime, fans are counting down as the highly anticipated Season 10 reunion is set to air on May 26, 2026.

Batula and Wilson confirmed their relationship on March 31, shocking fans and shaking up the group’s dynamic.

At the time, Miller shared that his ex-girlfriend Wilson said he couldn’t commit to a serious relationship with her “for show-related reasons.”

Their relationship remained tense into season nine and has continued to evolve in season 10, where the two have revisited their past.

In one episode, Miller admitted, “it’s very clear that we both miss each other,” while also describing their situation as “we’re in a weird state of like, limbo, and so it’s all just coming out so disorganized and a bit crazy.”

Meanwhile, Miller has remained supportive of Batula during her own personal struggles, including her separation from Cooke.

Batula even expressed appreciation for Miller’s support in a recent interview, while also acknowledging Wilson.

10 Greatest Movies of 2016, According to Rotten Tomatoes

Published

on

Baby Moana touches the water in Moana (2016)

While we are now a full decade from the beginning of 2016, it still feels like yesterday for many people around the world, as the events and prospects of 2016 proved to be some of the most prominent, groundbreaking revelations of world culture. One specific part that amplified the effect of 2016 on wider culture were the various films released during the year, ranging from massively celebrated critical darlings to some of the biggest and most successful films of the 21st century.

What is interesting to look back on is which films stood at the absolute height of critical acclaim in 2016, with the then-highest rotten tomatoes scores and overwhelming appreciation from critics. Due to not being able to include every critical hit, this list is surprisingly missing several icons of 2016 cinema, including Split, Captain America: Civil War, and La La Land, as it speaks more to the year’s biggest crowd-pleasers and widely accepted critical darlings.

‘Moana’

Easily standing out as one of the defining original musical masterpieces from Walt Disney Animation Studios in the 21st century, Moana’s mixture of striking and groundbreaking animation with bundles of personality and charm quickly made it a fan-favorite film of the entire studio. Praise and appreciation for this film has only grown that much more in the decade since its release, to the point where it continues to be one of the most streamed movies of all time and received both a sequel and an upcoming live-action remake.

Moana is emblematic and symbolic of the highest highs that Disney has achieved in recent memory, continuing to push the studio forward with its continued success long after its release. As such, it isn’t particularly surprising that a film of such overwhelming staying power made such an impact on critics when it first released, standing as one of Disney’s shining beacons of cinematic greatness, much like their exceptional films from their golden and renaissance eras.

‘Manchester by the Sea’

Manchester By the Sea’ (2016) (1)

An absolute tearjerker of a film that isn’t afraid to delve into some incredibly dark and difficult territory with its storytelling, Manchester by the Sea achieved unanimous praise thanks to its grounded and extremely potent emotional storytelling. Its story of a reclusive older brother returning home to face his demons following a tragic death in the family does just about everything one would want out of a compelling, R-rated drama. The film’s Academy Award wins for Best Actor and Best Original Screenplay further cemented its status as one of 2016’s greatest filmmaking achievements.

Praise and appreciation from critics for Manchester by the Sea technically lasted the entire year, as its early premiere at Sundance allowed for conversation and reputation to build-up towards the film throughout the year until its eventual release at the end of the year. Its masterclass exploration of emotional grief continues to make it a defining masterclass of the era and one of the absolute best films not just of 2016, but of the entire 2010s.

‘Kubo and the Two Strings’

Kubo and the Two Strings Image via Universal Pictures

Standing as arguably the magnum opus from already legendary stop-motion animation studio LAIKA, Kubo and the Two Strings sees the studio at the absolute height of their abilities in terms of mesmerizing visuals mixed with captivating, layered storytelling. Even today, the film continues to stand as one of the absolute greatest claymation films to have ever been released, pushing the very method of animation to its absolute limits with sheer perfection exuding from every frame of fine-tuned animation.

The exceptional craft alone was enough to make the film an absolute fan-favorite in the eyes of critics, feeling like the culmination of nearly a decade of masterful filmmaking from LAIKA transformed into a striking cinematic epic. It’s a celebration of the very strengths and weight that storytelling can hold over a communicating, while at the same time playing out like a timeless fairy tale epic with its mixture of mystical creatures and an impactful battle of good vs. evil and the intricacies behind the truth of it all.

‘Finding Dory’

It’s rare that a Pixar film isn’t overwhelmingly appreciated and loved by critics, especially during the 2010s, so it isn’t exactly surprising that the long-awaited sequel to Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, was overwhelmingly praised and appreciated by critics of the era. What’s interesting is that, while its score was high enough to earn the film a spot in the top 10 of 2016, its staggering 94% on Rotten Tomatoes puts it right outside the top half of Pixar’s filmography at #16 of 30.

This isn’t to say that Finding Dory is a bad film, far from it in fact, as it features a lot of the same inherent strengths and emotional moments of the all-time great Pixar films. The film even stands out as one of the most well-received non-Toy Story sequels in Pixar history, although it undeniably doesn’t have nearly the staying power or continued legacy that the all-timer original film has had, now standing a decade removed from its release.

‘Love & Friendship’

Easily the most obscure of the films that made Rotten Tomatoes top 10 list of 2016, Love & Friendship‘s delightful execution of a classic period drama setup out of the classic Jane Austen novella made it the type of film that critics just absolutely fawn over. The film largely follows the plot of the original novel, seeing a cunning young woman (Kate Beckinsale) in her calculating plots and exploits to secure suitably wealthy husbands for both herself and her daughter.

What’s even more interesting compared to every other film that was among the highest-ranking films from 2016 on Rotten Tomatoes is that Love & Friendship does not have nearly the same appreciation from audiences as it did from critics. The audience score stands at a much lower 59%, as general audiences and rotten tomatoes users aren’t nearly as receptive to the prospects of a classic period drama as critics of the era were.

5

‘The Jungle Book’

The Jungle Book (2016) Image via Disney

Still standing as arguably the best live-action remake to come from Disney, The Jungle Book stands much taller than many of the other live-action remakes that floundered in the eyes of critics by actually building and improving upon the Disney classic in terms of its narrative. It weaves a greater story of manmade influence and danger over the jungle creatures that makes its story much more dynamic than the loose musical whims of the original, resulting in its overwhelming praise by the critics of 2016.

Even as live-action Disney remakes continue to be middling to downright lackluster at best in the years to follow, The Jungle Book still stands as a well-crafted cinematic evolution of the classic story, truly exemplifying what could be possible with adapting such an all-time classic to live-action. It isn’t without its issues, but there’s enough greatness within the film to make it an enjoyable time for the vast majority of critics and audiences alike.

‘Moonlight’

2016’s eventual Best Picture winner and the overwhelming choice by many as the greatest filmmaking achievement of the year, Moonlight‘s masterclass of drama and self-reflection told across three distinct eras of a man’s life has redefined and amplified the greatest strengths of modern independent filmmaking. It’s a film whose very perfection speaks for itself, as the mixture of an emotional, layered story with top of the line performances has made it one of the defining masterpieces of the 21st century.

What’s more surprising is not that the film earned a spot on this list, but that it only made #4 and that there were 3 other films from 2016 that had higher Tomatometer scores at the time. More than any other film on this list, it’s safe to say that Moonlight has had the largest and most celebrated legacy, standing the test of time in the decade since its release as an absolutely perfect coming-of-age film and one of the most important movies of the 21st century.

‘Arrival’

A layered and non-traditional sci-fi thriller from legendary filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, Arrival‘s mixture of striking imagery and abstract concept made the film an absolute smash hit for critics of the era, with the film continuously being in the conversation of the best original sci-fi films of recent memory. It utilized an exceptional mystery combined with top-notch performances and striking imagery to create a fully distinct and original sci-fi story that is still unlike anything else that the genre has to offer.

The story is as much about the human experiences and emotional weight of its characters as it is about the communication and impact of the aliens that land on earth, with its layered themes and phenomenal performances only further amplifying the impact and weight of said story. As Villeneuve continued to cement his status as a modern icon of sci-fi filmmaking in the years to follow, the ingenuity and brilliance of Arrival continues to leave a greater and greater legacy.

‘Hell or High Water’

The western genre is one that had gone massively unexplored within the 2010s as a decade. However, Hell or High Water stands as one of the striking exceptions to the rule that actively pushed the genre forward as the defining western masterpiece of the 21st century. This modern western crime drama sees two brothers (Chris Pine and Ben Foster) embarking on a dangerous mission in order to save their family ranch, as they set out to commit a series of bank robberies while being pursued by two Texas Rangers (Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham).

Hell or High Water does more than simply play to the classic strengths of the Western genre that critics and audiences alike have missed for so long, but it elevates and transforms these classic conventions into a striking, high-tension crime drama with exceptional execution. It’s a love letter to the genre that also stands on its own and doesn’t have to rely on the genre for its strengths, creating an experience that critics simply couldn’t get enough of when the film premiered at Cannes and continued to love when it had its wide release.

‘Zootopia’

It’s rare that one of the highest grossing films in a given year also happens to be the highest rated in the eyes of critics, but Zootopia found that absolute perfect mixture of charm, comedy, and then topical commentary that made it a complete package for critics and audiences alike. Even today, Zootopia is still the #2 highest rated theatrical Disney film out of their entire 76 film history, continuing to hold a spot as Disney’s most recognizable and highly acclaimed film since the Renaissance era.

If the film were only defined by its cutesy animals and the charm of its premise, it wouldn’t have nearly the critical reception and staying power that it has had, as its upbeat buddy cop style and dynamic themes of prejudice have given it a timeless staying power long after its initial release. The film surpassed all expectations and was a wildly fun, self-aware joyride for critics, with a legacy that continues to grow year after year, especially after the recent release of its long-awaited sequel, Zootopia 2.

The Academy Has Decided
Your Perfect Film Is…

Your answers have pointed to one Oscar Best Picture winner above all others. This is the film that was made for the way your mind works.

Parasite

You are drawn to films that operate on multiple levels simultaneously — that begin in one genre and quietly, brilliantly migrate into another. Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite is a film about class, desire, and the architecture of inequality that manages to be darkly funny, deeply suspenseful, and genuinely shocking across a single extraordinary running time. Your instinct is for cinema that hides its true intentions until the moment it’s ready to reveal them. Parasite is exactly that — a film that rewards close attention and punishes assumptions, right up to its devastating final image.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

You want it all — and this film gives you all of it. The Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once is one of the most maximalist films ever made: action comedy, multiverse sci-fi, family drama, existential crisis, and a genuinely earned emotional core that sneaks up on you amid the chaos. You are someone who responds to ambition, who doesn’t want cinema to choose between being entertaining and being meaningful. This film refuses that choice entirely. It is overwhelming by design, and its overwhelming nature is precisely the point — because the feeling of being crushed by infinite possibility is exactly what it’s about.

Oppenheimer

You are drawn to cinema on a grand scale — films that understand history not as a backdrop but as a force, and that place their characters inside that force and watch what happens. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a film about the terrifying gap between what we can do and what we should do, told with the full weight of one of the most consequential moments in human history behind it. You want your films to feel important without feeling self-important — to earn their ambition through sheer craft and the gravity of their subject. Oppenheimer does exactly that. It is enormous, complicated, and refuses easy comfort.

Birdman

You are drawn to films that foreground their own construction — that make the how of the filmmaking part of the what it’s about. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Birdman, shot to appear as a single continuous take, is cinema examining itself through the cracked mirror of a fading actor’s ego. You respond to formal daring, to the feeling that a film is doing something that probably shouldn’t be possible. Michael Keaton’s performance and Emmanuel Lubezki’s restless camera create something genuinely unlike anything else — a film that is simultaneously about creativity, relevance, self-destruction, and the impossibility of ever truly knowing if your work means anything at all.

No Country for Old Men

You are drawn to cinema that trusts silence, that refuses to explain itself, and that treats dread as a form of meaning. The Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men is a film about the arrival of a new kind of evil — implacable, arbitrary, and utterly indifferent to the moral frameworks we use to make sense of the world. It is one of the most formally controlled films ever made, and its controlled restraint is what makes it so terrifying. You want your films to haunt you, not comfort you. You are not interested in resolution if resolution would be dishonest. No Country for Old Men is honest in a way that most cinema never dares to be.

Sasha Farber’s PDA With Janel Parrish Amid Romance Rumors

Published

on

Dancing With the Stars alum Sasha Farber appears to be closer to Janel Parrish than ever.

Spotted with the Pretty Little Liars alum, 37, at the Studio City Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 26, Farber, 41, kept an arm around her shoulders as the pair sipped coffee while strolling. In photos published by JustJared later that day, the smiling duo also held hands while chatting to one another.

Us Weekly has reached out to Farber and a representative for Parrish for comment.

The sighting comes after fans questioned the nature of Farber and Parrish’s friendship earlier this month due to Farber sharing footage of Parrish, 37, dancing with him on a sidewalk with the caption, “She’s still got it @janelparrish 🔥.” (Parrish competed on DWTS with Val Chmerkovskiy in 2014, finishing in third place.)

Parrish, who has been married to estranged husband Chris Long for seven years, wrote via Instagram Stories one day after Farber’s post went live, “Thank you all for the incredibly kind and supportive messages, they’ve truly meant the world. After 10 beautiful years together, including seven years of marriage, Chris and I made the difficult decision to end our marriage.”

Her announcement concluded at the time, “There is still so much love and respect between us, and I’m deeply grateful for everything we built together. This chapter of my life, and Chris, will always mean so much to me. Thank you all again for the messages of love and support.”

Less than one week later, on April 16, Farber posted an Instagram photo of Parrish playing the piano. “It’s the small things in life,” he captioned the snap.

Pretty Little Liars alum Janel Parrish has broken her silence on her divorce from husband Chris Long. “Thank you all for the incredibly kind and supportive messages, they’ve truly meant the world,” Parrish, 37, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 10. “After 10 beautiful years together, including seven years of marriage, Chris and […]

For Farber’s part, the professional dancer was married to fellow DWTS pro Emma Slater from 2018 to 2023 before developing a close relationship with Bachelorette star Jenn Tran, who partnered with him in 2024’s DWTS season 33. (Tran, 28, and Farber reportedly split in June 2025 despite never confirming a romance between them.)

Farber and Parrish sparked more recent romance speculation last week, both sharing footage of themselves dancing together via their individual Instagram accounts. While Farber’s clip captured a routine that saw him wearing a white singlet, Parrish’s video showed Farber shirtless as he showed the actress a “salsa real quick.”

Farner opened up about dating during a January appearance on the “Casual Chaos” podcast. “I hate dating. But it takes like a sec, you got to meet the person. There’s a lot that goes into when you want to find someone special,” Farber said at the time, claiming that DWTS has a history of developing real-life love stories. “[On the show], you’re just thrown in. ‘Let’s go. Hi, nice to meet you. OK, we are going to rub hips. We are going to dip. We are going to do this. I want to get in your face here. You have to really look at me,’” he said.

Meryl Streep Tears Up Over Journalist’s Surprise

Published

Meryl Steep 2019

While promoting her latest film, Meryl Streep became emotional during an interview when a journalist presented her with a gift related to one of her most iconic roles. The moment prompted a heartfelt reaction from the veteran actress, who was left in shock and awe.

Veteran actress Meryl Streep, alongside co-star Stanley Tucci, appeared on the French news show to promote their latest movie, “The Devil Wears Prada 2.” Toward the end of the segment, the host, Laurent Delahousse, redirected the conversation to Streep’s 1982 film, “Sophie’s Choice,” and handed her a tablet.

“I even told my mother that she was my favorite mother, because Meryl Streep was always nice to me and playing with me,” a woman in the video said. Streep’s reaction showed the moment she realized who the woman was: Jennifer Lejeune, who portrayed her daughter in “Sophie’s Choice.”

“I think if she wasn’t able to build that bond with me, there’s no way we would have ever had that kind of reaction on set,” Lejeune continued. Streep angled the tablet toward Tucci to show him the clip.

The Actress Was Shocked To See Her Former Co-Star

Streep, who was visibly emotional, asked Delahousse, “That’s the child?” The journalist confirmed that it was, indeed, Lejeune. “Oh my god, that’s amazing,” the 76-year-old actress exclaimed before asking where they found her. Delahousse said that her former co-star now resided in Paris.

Streep, still recovering from her shock, said, “Well, that’s amazing. That’s very beautiful. Thank you for giving me that. What a gift. Journalists never give me gifts!”

Lejeune was just 4 years old when she portrayed Streep’s daughter in “Sophie’s Choice.” The movie, directed by the late Alan J. Pakula, was based on a novel of the same name written by William Styron. The psychological drama focused on Zofia “Sophie” Zawistowski, a Polish immigrant in post-World War II America who is haunted by a traumatic and devastating decision she was forced to make during the Holocaust.

In an interview included on the “Sophie’s Choice” Blu-ray released in 2014, Lejeune recalled auditioning for the role and being asked to kick Streep. “They asked me to kind of kick Meryl at the final interview, and I gave her a good whacking on the shin,” she said.

Lejeune said she formed a bond with the actress, revealing that Streep would often spend a couple of hours with her and her on-screen brother to build rapport. “It was just playing together – sometimes in the hotel, sometimes just around town in the playground – and getting to know each other so I trusted her. I felt safe with her,” she shared.

“I apparently told my real mother that Meryl Streep is a nicer mother than she is. That didn’t go over really well with my real mom,” said Lejeune.

Meryl Streep Refused To Watch One Specific Scene

One of the most emotionally gripping scenes from the movie is when Sophie is forced by a Nazi officer to make a devastating decision: choosing which of her two children will live, knowing that if she refuses, both will be killed.

Streep revealed that she wasn’t acting the moment Lejeune was taken from her. “It was just what happened in the moment,” she said. Lejeune also said her screams were real, as she felt fear at that moment, despite the filmmakers explaining to her what was happening. “I had such a bond with Meryl, so I think I got into the emotional part of it,” she explained.

Years later, Streep shared that she refused to watch the scene because the emotions were too real and shooting it left her completely drained. Moreover, she was a mother herself, and having to revisit that moment was difficult. In 2002, Streep was on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and the scene was played. She then revealed that it was her first time watching that scene.

‘Sophie’s Choice’ Earned Meryl Streep Her First Best Actress Academy Award

Streep’s portrayal of Sophie earned her rave reviews, with notable film critic Roger Ebert praising the actress’ range. “There is hardly an emotion that Streep doesn’t touch in this movie, and yet we’re never aware of her straining. This is one of the most astonishing and yet one of the most unaffected and natural performances I can imagine,” he wrote.

Apple TV’s 10/10 Crime Thriller Debuts to a Perfect Score on Rotten Tomatoes

Published

on

xuj3ycz3exvdv2ilzus0nuv6hnw.jpg

Anyone who experienced even a couple of episodes of Peter Capaldi‘s stint as the titular Time Lord in Doctor Who could tell you how great an actor he is. Capaldi took a sci-fi series that is fundamentally family-friendly about traveling through time and space and sprinkled it with the veteran instincts of an experienced performer, becoming many people’s favorite actor to take on the role in its over 60-year history. You need only watch the episode “Heaven Sent,” which features Capaldi almost entirely on his own, monologuing his way through grief, to see his genius at work.

With that in mind, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that any project starring the great actor could return a stunning critical and audience reception. This is exactly what happened with the first season of Apple TV’s British thriller, Criminal Record. Created by Paul Rutman, eight episodes of this twisting drama landed on the streamer back in early 2024, scoring a 95% rating from critics on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

Earlier this week, Cush Jumbo‘s Detective Sergeant June Lenker and Capaldi’s Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty returned to the series in a long-awaited Season 2, as Episode 1, “Is It Him?” premiered on Apple TV. Directed by Ben A. Williams and penned by Rutman, the episode saw Jumbo and Capaldi return and not miss a beat, as another hunt for justice begins. But what are critics saying about Season 2? Quite remarkably, this second season has already outperformed the near-perfect Season 1. On Rotten Tomatoes, Criminal Record Season 2 boasts a perfect 100% score.

Your Partner Has Been Assigned
Your Perfect Partner Is…

Your answers have pointed to one action hero above all others. This is the person built to have your back — for better or considerably, spectacularly worse.

Rambo

Your partner doesn’t talk much, doesn’t need to, and will have assessed every threat in your immediate environment before you’ve finished your first sentence. John Rambo is not a man of plans or politics — he is a force of nature shaped by survival, loyalty, and a capacity for endurance that goes beyond anything training can produce. He will not leave you behind. He has never left anyone behind who deserved to come home. What you get with Rambo is the most capable, most quietly ferocious partner imaginable — one who has been through things that would have broken anyone else, and who chose to keep going anyway. You’ll never need to ask if he has your back. You’ll just know.

James Bond

Your partner will arrive perfectly dressed, perfectly briefed, and with a cover story so convincing it’ll take you a moment to remember what’s actually true. James Bond is the most professionally dangerous person in any room he enters — and the most disarmingly charming, which is the point. He operates in a world of layers, where nothing is what it appears and every advantage is used without apology. You’ll never be bored. You’ll occasionally be furious. But when it matters — when the mission is genuinely on the line and the margin for error has collapsed to nothing — Bond is exactly the partner you want. He has survived things that have no business being survivable. He does it with style. That is not nothing.

Indiana Jones

Your partner will know the history, the language, the cultural context, and exactly why the thing everyone else is ignoring is actually the most important thing in the room. Indiana Jones is brilliant, reckless, and occasionally impossible — but he is also one of the most resourceful, most genuinely knowledgeable partners you could find yourself beside. He approaches every situation with a scholar’s eye and a brawler’s instinct, which is an unusual combination and a remarkably effective one. He hates snakes and gets personally attached to objects of historical significance, both of which will slow you down at least once. It doesn’t matter. What Indy brings is irreplaceable — and the adventures you’ll have together will be the kind people write books about. Assuming you survive them.

John McClane

Your partner was not supposed to be here. He does not have the right equipment, the right information, or anything approaching the right odds. He has a sarcastic remark and an absolute refusal to accept that the situation is as bad as it looks. John McClane is the greatest accidental hero in the history of action cinema — a man whose superpower is stubbornness, whose contingency plan is improvisation, and whose capacity to absorb punishment and keep moving would be alarming if it weren’t so useful. He will complain the entire time. He will make it significantly more chaotic than it needed to be. And he will absolutely, unconditionally, without question come through when it counts. Yippee-ki-yay.

Ethan Hunt

Your partner has already run seventeen scenarios by the time you’ve finished reading the briefing, and the plan he’s settled on involves at least two things that should be physically impossible. Ethan Hunt operates at the absolute edge of human capability — technically, physically, and intellectually — and he brings the same relentless precision to protecting his partners that he brings to dismantling organisations that shouldn’t exist. He is not easy to know and he will never fully tell you everything. But he will carry the weight of the mission so completely, so absolutely, that your job is simply to trust him — and the remarkable thing is that trusting him always turns out to be the right call. The mission will be impossible. He will complete it anyway.

What Have Critics Said About ‘Criminal Record’ Season 2?

With its perfect 100% score, albeit from just five reviews thus far, Criminal Record is earning gushing praise from a variety of sites. For The Guardian, Sarah Dempster praised the show’s “relatively straightforward and beautifully paced storytelling,” adding, “its narrative twists emerging like handkerchiefs from a sleeve.” Digital Spy’s Lacy Baugher was similarly positive, praising “a darker and more ambitious outing” than Season 1. This thought was shared by Fandom Wire’s Richard Valero, who wrote, “If you were a fan of Criminal Record season 1, you are in for an absolute treat with an even better second season.”

Donald Trump Slams 60 Minutes for Shooter’s Manifesto Quote

Published

on

President Donald Trump slammed a 60 Minutes anchor who quoted part of a manifesto written by the alleged White House Correspondents’ Dinner gunman.

During an interview with CBS News’ Norah O’Donnell for 60 Minutes, which aired on Sunday, April 26, Trump, 79, strongly opposed a passage that criticized him. “I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes,” O’Donnell, 52, quoted from the manifesto to Trump.

Trump acknowledged earlier on Sunday in an interview with Fox News that an alleged “manifesto” was written by the suspected shooter and sent to the suspect’s family prior to the incident.

Taking the quoted manifesto passage as a reference to his relationship with the late convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Trump began, “Well, I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would, because you’re horrible people. Horrible people,” Trump said. “Yeah, he did write that. I’m not a rapist. I didn’t rape anybody.”

Conservative commentator Candace Owens clapped back after President Donald Trump insulted her in his latest social media rant. Trump, 79, took a shot at Owens, 36, and other former allies while reacting to a CNN poll comparing his favorable approval rating among Republicans to conservative critics such as Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly. “Tucker is […]

O’Donnell then asked, “Oh, do you think he was referring to you?” which drew further comment from Trump.

“Excuse me, excuse me, I’m not a pedophile. You read that crap from some sick person? I got associated with old stuff that has nothing to do with me,” Trump responded. “I was totally exonerated. Your friends on the other side of the plate are the ones that were involved with, let’s say Epstein or other things, but I said to myself, ‘You know, I’ll do this interview … but you should be ashamed of yourself reading that because I’m not any of those things.”

Despite O’Donnell’s attempts to clarify her stance, Trump concluded, “You shouldn’t be reading that on 60 Minutes, you’re a disgrace. You’re disgraceful,” before the interview moved on.

Epstein was convicted in 2008 on charges of soliciting prostitution and soliciting prostitution from a minor before he was arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges. He died in custody before trial. Trump’s documented relationship with the late financier has long been put under the microscope, but Trump has repeatedly denied knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activity.

Alex Jones has reacted after President Donald Trump publicly criticized the radio host and other conservative figureheads. “Well, President Trump came out on Truth Social and attacked myself and all the original MAGA supporters today,” Jones, 52, said in a video shared via X on Thursday, April 9. “I’m just so sad that whatever’s happened […]

Trump and first lady Melania Trump were evacuated from the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday, April 25, after shots rang out across the Washington Hilton ballroom. A 31-year-old California man was apprehended outside the ballroom shortly after, later identified as Cole Tomas Allen, who had recently won a “teacher of the year” award and was armed with a shotgun, handgun and knives, according to authorities.

A Secret Service agent was shot during the incident and nobody else was harmed. The alleged gunman is scheduled to be arraigned in federal court on Monday, April 27.

During a press conference staged in the wake of the shooting, Trump told members of the press that he was “honored” to be a target of the shooting. “When you look at our great presidents, [this] doesn’t happen to people who don’t do anything,” Trump told reporters who gathered in the White House in the late hours of Saturday. “I hate to say I’m honored by that but we’ve done a lot.”

Earlier on Sunday, Trump commented on the nature of the alleged manifesto currently circulating within the media. “When you read his manifesto, he hates Christians, that’s one thing for sure,” Trump told Fox News. “It was a religious thing, it was strongly anti-Christian.”

Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer Has Topless Scene, Lexi Is a Virgin

Published

on

Before Euphoria hosted the wedding of the year for Cassie and Nate, Hunter Schafer returned with a graphic nude scene — and another character revealed they were a virgin.

During the Sunday, April 26, episode of the hit HBO series, a flashback sequence showed Jules in art school before her roommate suggested she try going on dates with wealthy men for money. That turned into Jules dropping out of school because of how her lifestyle got funded — specifically by one client who became her only sugar daddy.

A specifically racy scene showed Jules stripping down before her client wrapped her up in cellophane. Elsewhere in the episode, Jules reunited with Cal (Eric Dane), where they reflected on their history. Cal updated Jules on what happened after his arrest, which included him taking a plea deal and having to register as a sex offender.

Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate’s (Jacob Elordi) wedding served as a reunion for many — but not Rue (Zendaya) who was called away for business. She took a call in the car from Fez (Angus Cloud) before stopping at Laurie’s house. Back at the wedding, Lexi (Maude Apatow) made a comment to Jules that revealed she’s a virgin.

Euphoria has become known for its graphic sex scenes — and the stars haven’t held back about stripping down on camera. “Every scene is like, ‘He sleeps with this person. Jules’ return to the show comes after Sweeney, 28, stripped down in a past episode. Cassie’s evolution into creating explicit content for subscribers featured her filming photo shoots that ranged from her topless while licking ice cream to a skin-tight shirt that had the design of the American flag to her pretending to be an adult baby.

“Cassie was exactly the kind of girl you would dream of signing. Beautiful — but directionless,” Rue said in a voiceover. “So desperate for attention that she was willing to humiliate herself.”

Before Euphoria returned for season 3 earlier this month, Sweeney spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about her evolving relationship with her body — and how it inspired her lingerie brand, Syrn.

“I grew up with boobs. I was wearing a 32DD in sixth grade, and I never felt confident,” Sweeney told Us. “I never had anything I felt good in, and I just wanted to hide. It wasn’t until [I played] Cassie in Euphoria that I started realizing it’s actually powerful to be confident; our bodies are incredible. We should embrace [them] and feel really good in our skin.”

The straps are digging into my shoulders or it’s kind of itchy and riding up,’” she explained. “I started a whole Pinterest board of thousands of photos of inspiration, and I [thought], ‘I should actually do this.’ And we put it together.”

She continued: “That’s kind of why I wanted to build all these different worlds,” she explains, “So [fans] could honestly choose what they wanted to be [at] the start of the day or the end of the day.”

Jessi Draper Speaks On Everyone’s ‘Opinion’ About Her Dating

Published

on

Jessi Draper

Jessi Draper has made it very clear that she has officially moved on after filing for divorce from her ex, Jordan Ngatikaura, as the “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star has fully embraced the dating scene.

However, moving on has not come without a host of online opinions, and Draper recently spoke about tuning out all the noise and criticism.

In an Instagram video on Saturday, April 25, Jessi Draper gave her fans a “life update” on dating and her healing journey after filing for divorce from Jordan Ngatikaura.

“I know that you guys see a lot of headlines and videos and photos about my life, and something that I have learned from being on reality TV is that everyone has an opinion,” Draper said in the clip. “But healing after divorce is so interesting because everyone’s process is different.”

“I know a lot of people don’t understand that I’m dating and hanging out and just having fun,” the reality star continued. “And when you’re in a relationship where you don’t feel valued, and you don’t feel like you were treated well, it feels so nice to just talk to people who make you feel valued and treat you well.”

Draper Also Addressed The Criticism About Focusing On Motherhood Instead Of Dating

Many online have accused Draper of prioritizing dating over being an active parent.

“And I think one of the biggest comments I see is, ‘Go heal and focus on your children.’ And what I want to say to that is: Two things can be true,” she began.

“I have my kids 50 percent of the time now, so I am focusing on healing and spending time with them, but when I don’t have them, I’m also focusing on myself and reprioritizing being happy, honestly,” Draper added. “And it’s been really fun to just be happy and to be giddy and to just let loose and kind of see that men don’t have to be what I have experienced for so long.”

She also provided assurance that she has no plans to jump into another committed relationship anytime soon.

“I do plan on being single for a long time and just hanging out with different people and having fun and finding connections while also focusing on myself,” the JZ Styles founder said.

Draper Has Sparked Dating Rumors With Former Fling Marciano Brunette And Spotted Kissing ‘Mormon Wives’ Chase McWhorter

In March 2025, Deuxmoi shared a tip alleging that Draper and McWhorter, the ex-husband of “Mormon Wives” star Miranda Hope, were spotted kissing at a friend’s birthday party, but nothing was initially confirmed.

However, a short time later, Hope posted a photo of flowers and an apology note from Draper, indicating that the kissing rumor was indeed true.

“I completely understand you being upset with me,” the note read. “But wanted to send you a little something to let you know I’m thinking about you, and I am so, so sorry. -Jessi.”

Hope further addressed the rumors in an interview with Entertainment Tonight

“What I never want to get misconstrued is that there is not any emotional attachment to Chase. He is my co-parent. Although I do feel disrespected by Chase, I feel slighted by my friend. Chase and I are no longer partners, and while I have high expectations of him as a co-parent, I also hold my friends to a high standard and believe in girl code,” she told the outlet.

Things with Brunette, however, appear to be more romantic. “Mormon Wives” fans know that Draper and the “Vanderpump Villa” star had an intimate encounter while she was still married, so they seemed to have resumed things.

There have been multiple posts across Instagram and TikTok of the two being out together, kissing, and cuddled up. Draper recently admitted that Brunette is part of her “roster” of men she is currently dating.

After Paul avoided charges in her domestic violence case with ex Dakota Mortensen, news followed about the future of the show.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the “Mormon Wives” production team is letting Taylor Frankie Paul take the lead on when (and in what capacity) she wants to return to the show.

An inside source close to Paul also revealed to the outlet that production remains supportive of Paul and is ready to film with her at her own pace “if and when she is ready.”

Paul previously shut down claims from PEOPLE that the show would resume production without her, writing in the Instagram comments of the post, “Interesting, that’s not the call I got.”

In an interview on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast on March 25, “Mormon Wives” star Jessi Draper publicly addressed the domestic violence allegations and 2023 video release regarding Taylor Frankie Paul, and voiced her support.

“I don’t like to judge someone in their darkest moment. I don’t want to judge the person, I’ll judge the mistake,” Draper said. “Taylor really has made a lot of changes, and that’s what’s so hard for me. This is my real friend, and she does have a really good heart, and I love her so much.”

Draper noted that Paul has been dealing with a lot of pain behind the scenes, which she said is not necessarily indicative of who she is.

“Seeing that video is so hard, because there’s so much pain underneath the surface for Taylor,” she said during the interview, visibly holding back tears. “It’s not who Taylor is. She got caught in a really bad cycle.”
