Today, Lionsgate has unleashed a new featurette with young Haymitch front and center, offering another look at Joseph Zada as the young tribute before he becomes the mentor first played by Woody Harrelson. The new footage shows us a sneak peek at how Haymitch’s hard and bitter exterior was formed in the heart of the Games.

Sunrise on the Reaping takes place 24 years before Katniss Everdeen volunteers for Prim and follows Haymitch as he is selected for the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell. This time, the Capitol doubles the number of tributes, turning an already horrific annual spectacle into an even more merciless bloodbath.

The featurette also shows off the faces we’ll come to know and, no doubt, fear for in the Quarter Quell, played by a new generation of actors. Zada (We Were Liars) leads the cast as Haymitch, with Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl) as Lenore Dove Baird and Mckenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire) as Maysilee Donner. Jesse Plemons (The Power of the Dog) plays a younger Plutarch Heavensbee, while Kelvin Harrison Jr. (Waves) takes on Beetee, and Maya Hawke (Stranger Things) plays Wiress.

According to Aron, the iconic New York City venue was transformed so dramatically that it was almost unrecognizable.

Aron explained that guests were greeted by a completely reimagined Madison Square Garden upon arrival. “It did not look like Madison Square Garden,” he wrote in a social media post.

According to Aron, nearly every visible surface inside the venue was covered in peach and white décor, while enlarged photos chronicling Swift and Kelce’s lives from childhood through their teenage years lined the space. “Immediately upon entry, everything… floors, walls, ceilings… was draped in peach and white,” he told fans. “Large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year from one year-old to late teenager-hood, were on display.”

He also described a portion of the arena that had been transformed into what appeared to be an outdoor garden retreat. “A small portion of MSG was cordoned off, devoid of any notion that that a basketball or hockey game ever shared that space,” he continued. “Somehow magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.”

The AMC executive also provided one of the most detailed descriptions yet of the ceremony itself. According to Aron, soft romantic music played before the wedding party entered.

“After some relaxing and mellow romantic songs played to settle the house, a few violins and cello ushered in the wedding party. Headlined by handsome Travis in a white tux, and a jaw-dropping Taylor in a stunning white wedding dress with a long veiled train,” he wrote.

Aron noted that an officiant guided guests through the ceremony with a mix of humor and heartfelt moments. “An officiant talked and sang and talked,” he said. “He was warm and welcoming, funny and eloquent.” Swift’s publicist previously confirmed that actor Adam Sandler served as the couple’s officiant.

He also noted the impressive guest list and entertainment lineup, writing, “An A-list audience to fete the young couple. And music, music, music.”

Kelly permanently commemorated her legendary father, Ozzy, by getting a meaningful new tattoo. The 41-year-old became one of the very first individuals to get inked inside the tattoo studio, which was set up on the iconic London Eye. 

The session took place on Thursday, July 2, soaring high above the city skyline to honor the late Black Sabbath frontman. PEOPLE Magazine reported that the delicate piece of body art was crafted by Miles Langford, the prominent founder of the popular tattoo brand, The London Social.

In video footage documenting the experience, the reality star can be seen watching intently as a depiction of her father’s trademark round eyeglasses was carefully etched onto her leg. The chosen design directly mirrors the signature style choice the legendary Prince of Darkness wore throughout his career.

This permanent tribute echoes how she previously channeled her father’s aesthetic during his public funeral procession through his hometown of Birmingham, England, last year, where she wore a matching pair of purple-tinted circular sunglasses to honor his memory.
