Thursday’s Workwear Report: Keira Waisted Tuxedo-Front Blouse
This post may contain affiliate links and Corporette® may earn commissions for purchases made through links in this post. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Our daily workwear reports suggest one piece of work-appropriate attire in a range of prices.
Anthropologie has had a few versions of this tuxedo-front blouse over the last few seasons. I finally tried it on recently and was pleasantly surprised. I had thought it would be a bit too casual for the office, but I really like the way it looked with trousers or under a blazer. I have a long torso, and it felt maybe half an inch shorter than what I would prefer, which means that it’s going to be the perfect length for most people.
This blue floral print would be beautiful for spring, but it also comes in five other colorways.
The top is $98 at Anthropologie and comes in sizes XS-XL.

The Fashion Classroom: Where Style Meets Smart Learning
The classroom isn’t what it used to be. Say goodbye to rigid wooden benches and lines of identical grey chairs. Classrooms these days are beginning to resemble boutique cafes and there’s a very good reason for that. Savvy schools have realized that the look and feel of the classroom directly impacts student learning. Here is […]

Meet Your Match: Spring Dresses & Perfectly Paired Bags
Emporior Sirenuse Dress, JB x Margaux Sandals, Irene Neuwirth Earrings
Spring dresses are all about lighter fabrics, more color, a little more personality. And whether it’s vacation, evening, beach days, or just daytime plans, there’s always a way to pull a bag into the mix.
When you have fun with it, the bags pick up on what’s already happening in the dress, pulling out a color, matching the tone, or mirroring the texture. It’s a simple formula, but it makes the outfit feel complete right away.

The fringe Capriccio embroidered bag ties back to the texture and movement of the embellished dress, while the Alémais Charlie mini cross body bag pulls directly from the print of the matching day dress. The deep tones in the Attico silk dress are picked up again with the Call It By Your Name mini basket in burgundy.
Brighter pieces follow the same idea. The blue All That Remains dress paired with the Pura Utz beaded pouch, and the Rixo multicolor dress grounded with the macramé sun print bag. For something lighter, the Siedrés chiffon dress works back to the sequined Lizzie Fortunato bag, and a neutral fringe dress is finished with the Marlies Grace crocheted clutch.

Suit of the Week: Mango

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. Also: we just updated our big roundup for the best women’s suits of 2026!
I think this bubblegum pink suit from Mango is so cute — but how do we feel about the black shoes?
I ask because I would not have thought that black goes well with a pink like this — although I couldn’t tel you why. I think this is one of the few cases where Mary Jane flats look great because the exposed skin leaves it from feeling too heavy. But then the question becomes: what other color shoes or belt is best to wear with light pink? A tan? A nude for you? Something slightly softer, like a gray or a dark brown? I can’t recall ever really pondering this before.
The suit itself is on the affordable side — the blazer, pants and waistcoat range from $89-$150. (The waistcoat is a halter, which I don’t recommend for most offices, but I’d love to hear your thoughts.) In good news, the suit is available in sizes 0-22 (EUR 32-54), and as well as in a pretty brown and ecru.
(The pictured shoes are $89 — they remind me a bit of the Una from M.Gemi.)

Happy Administrative Professionals Day – What Are You Getting Yours?
This post may contain affiliate links and Corporette® may earn commissions for purchases made through links in this post. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Today is Administrative Professionals Day — what are you getting yours? Do you give the same amount every year or does it vary? Does your company or firm have a culture around this holiday? (At my old firm, we had a rule of thumb for end of year holiday gifts that readers were horrified at: $100 per year you’d been with the firm.)
(In the past, the most common answer was: CASH, perhaps with flowers.)
Along those lines, how has your relationship with your assistants changed as you’ve risen in seniority or worked in different offices? Have your offices cut a lot of those positions out, or consolidated them — and how do you think it affected your work?
In the past, we’ve discussed how to delegate, how to hire an assistant, and how to use a personal assistant. On the personal side of things, we’ve discussed how much help you have in your life in general, and I shared what happened when I used virtual assistants for personal tasks. (In general boss news, we recently rounded up the best books for women managers based on reader recommendations!)

Ciara Stuns in Denim Romeo Hunte Fall 2026 and Russell Wilson Looks Fly in Prada at the Devil Wears Prada 2 New York Premiere
Ciara and Russell Wilson posed together at The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiere in New York City, coordinating elevated evening looks for the occasion.
Ciara wore a blue denim coat by Romeo Hunte, layered over a white button-down shirt and light denim shorts. The look featured a belted waist and extended train detail, paired with black Christian Louboutin pointed-toe pumps. She accessorized with a choker necklace and completed the look with sleek hair and dark sunglasses in select shots.

The ensemble was modeled on Romeo Hunte’s Fall 2026 runway with pants.

Russell Wilson complemented her in a black Prada jacket and slacks, styled with a white dress shirt, black tie, and black shoes, finishing the look with dark sunglasses.

The couple walked and posed under a lit archway entrance, and definitely had one of the flyest and more talked about looks during the premiere.
