A campsite set on a working farm has beautiful panoramic views over the coast and has been named one of the best places for family camping in the UK.
Panoramic Camping and Glamping in Swansea scored an 8.9 based on ‘child-friendly’ ratings from nearly 200,000 customer reviews. The campsite is placed in Pitchup.com’s top 10 Best Campsite for Families
Found on a hilltop meadow with views stretching over the Loughor Estuary, Panoramic is found on Cwrt Mawr Farm just north of Swansea, around 15 minutes off the M4.
The site has 10 camping pitches and 4 spacious safari tents available and which have wonderful views of the whole camping field and surrounding countryside. Each pitch has its own fire pit and shelter with a picnic bench and solar lights, the site is also off grid and uses solar power and their own water source.
If you fancy something a bit more comfy – aka, a real proper bed – Panoramic’s safari tents might be the option for you. There are four of them, with varying stay options – from double beds, singles and sofabed. Each safari tent includes a kitchen area and campfire, with a shared toilet and shower block.
There’s a play area on site and you’ll see a few chickens and sheep but if you’re looking to spend the day out, Gower is around a half hour drive away with its gorgeous beaches and coastal path walks.
The town of Llandeilo is also around half an hour away where you’ll find cute indie shops and great places to eat. Also, beyond Llandeilo you’ll be able to explore Bannau Brycheiniog, too.
