Arthur Hayes has dramatically changed his outlook on Bitcoin — and his new crypto thesis could have major implications for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethena, Hyperliquid and the broader market.

In a recent interview, Hayes argues that the fundamental liquidity environment has changed as pressure builds inside the US Treasury market. He believes policymakers may increasingly be forced to support the long end of the Treasury market, creating a form of de facto yield-curve control that could ultimately benefit risk assets and cryptocurrencies.

Hayes now sees Bitcoin potentially reaching **$150,000 by the end of 2026**, but his biggest conviction may actually be elsewhere.

He calls **Ethereum his number-one crypto pick**, arguing that ETH has been heavily beaten down, remains a foundational layer for DeFi, and has not surpassed its 2021 all-time high. Hayes believes Ethereum could potentially deliver a **3–5x move** as capital rotates back into the asset.

He also discusses **Ethena**, which he believes could potentially deliver a 5x move over the next six months if Bitcoin’s rally drives greater demand throughout the ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Hayes says **Hyperliquid** can continue rising but no longer offers the same asymmetric opportunity it did when he accumulated it in the low $30s and sold around $75.
