Godwin Inamoto Appointed Emmanuel King’s Assistant at El-Kanemi Warriors

Newly appointed head coach of El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, Emmanuel King, has appointed former Akwa United and Dakkada FC midfielder Godwin Inamoto as his first assistant coach ahead of the new football season.

The duo will work together as the Maiduguri-based club prepares for the new Nigeria National League (NNL) season, with the immediate objective of steering the club back to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

Coach Emmanuel King was appointed the new head coach of the current President Federation Cup champions last month and has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading El-Kanemi Warriors in their CAF Confederation Cup campaign while also overseeing the club’s quest to return to Nigeria’s top-flight league next season.

According to Mfon Patrick, In a strategic move to strengthen his technical team, Coach King has brought in Godwin Inamoto, a former professional midfielder with considerable experience in coaching and youth development.

Inamoto previously served as an assistant coach with Dakkada FC in 2025. Before that, he was the head coach of Heaven Race Football Academy in 2024. He also served as the head coach of the Akwa Ibom State junior female team at the 2026 Niger Delta Games in Edo State.

The former Akwa United midfielder has continued to build his coaching credentials alongside his practical experience. He holds a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration from Heritage Polytechnic, Eket, which he obtained in 2018.

He further earned a National Institute for Sports (NIS) certificate in Coaching and Sports Psychology in 2024 and subsequently obtained an NIS Basic Certificate in Sports Fitness and Conditioning in 2025.

With his playing experience, coaching qualifications and growing technical background, Inamoto is expected to make a significant contribution to Coach Emmanuel King’s technical team as El-Kanemi Warriors begin preparations for the new season.

Together, King and Inamoto will be tasked with guiding the Maiduguri club through a challenging campaign that combines the demands of continental football with the club’s ambition of securing a return to the Nigerian top flight.

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase teases mystery woman in intimate bathroom snap ahead of 6th NFL season

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase shared an intimate selfie via Instagram Story on Tuesday.

In the photo, Chase stood in a master bathroom with an ornate chandelier and a large vanity mirror. He wore a black T-shirt and a gold watch, with his tattoos visible on his arm.

An unidentified woman stood closely behind Ja’Marr Chase and wrapped her arms around his waist and chest. She placed her hands on his midsection while keeping her face hidden behind him.

Chase shared the photo while listening to “Hashtag 1 Fan” by Babyface Ray.

Chase was previously linked to Deja Nicole Hiott. On June 6, 2025, he shared a romantic photo with Hiott on his Instagram Story.

In the photo, Chase gently kissed Hiott on the cheek while holding her face. Hiott smiled as she held a black handbag.

Chase is now preparing for his sixth season with the Bengals in 2026.

During Bengals training camp Aug. 9, Chase spoke with NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe about the emergence of what has been called “Mean Joe” Burrow.

“I like it when Joe’s like that,” Chase said. “I like it when he is pissed. I like the fire that he has. He don’t always bring it out.”

Chase also talked about Burrow’s more aggressive demeanor.

“I want to say his demeanor is just more aggressive,” Chase said. “His face is more aggressive; the way he talks is more aggressive. He got like a little mean mug on his face. I kinda like when he’s like that.”

On Aug. 1, Ja’Marr Chase showed excitement for the upcominng NFL season.

He posted a series of pictures from the Bengals’ practice field via Instagram and wrote, “Oh, what a time it is.”

The post garnered over 80,000 likes.

Ja’Marr Chase had a great 2025 NFL season. Because of his strong performance, he was selected for the AFC team for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games in February.

This was his fifth Pro Bowl in a row in his first five NFL seasons.

He also made Bengals history. Chase became only the second player in team history to make the Pro Bowl in each of his first five seasons.

The only other Bengals player to do this was former star wide receiver A.J. Green, who made the Pro Bowl every year from 2011 – 2015.
