Blake Lively Says ‘Momming Always Continues’ Amid Legal Drama

Blake Lively Easter table

Blake Lively offered a glimpse into her family life over the weekend, sharing a quiet Easter moment with her children as her legal case tied to “It Ends with Us” continues to unfold. The 38-year-old actress took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to post a lighthearted snapshot of bunny-shaped scrambled eggs she prepared for her kids. Alongside the image, Lively wrote, “Momming always continues on,” adding a string of heart and bunny emojis. Lively, who shares four children with husband Ryan Reynolds, appeared to be embracing the holiday at home just days after a major development in her legal dispute with co-star Justin Baldoni.

Last week, Manhattan U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman dismissed the majority of claims Lively had filed against Baldoni, including allegations related to conspiracy and defamation.

Of the original 13 claims, three remain active as the case moves toward a tentative May 18 trial date: retaliation, aiding and abetting retaliation, and breach of contract. The ruling significantly narrowed the scope of the case but allows its central arguments to proceed in court.

Following the decision, attorney Sigrid McCawley emphasized that the case remains focused on retaliation and reputational harm. “This case has always been and will remain focused on the devastating retaliation and the extraordinary steps the defendants took to destroy Blake Lively’s reputation,” McCawley said in a statement.

She further argued that Lively was targeted for advocating for safety on set, adding that the upcoming trial will continue to examine what she described as coordinated online attacks.

McCawley also addressed the dismissal of the sexual harassment claims, explaining that the court’s decision was tied to Lively’s classification as an independent contractor rather than an employee, not a determination of wrongdoing.

In a statement shared to social media on Friday, Lively expressed gratitude that the case will move forward in part, saying she is prepared to present her experience in full. “I am grateful for the court’s ruling, which allows the heart of my case to be presented to a jury next month,” she wrote, adding that she hopes to speak not only for herself but for others who may not have the same opportunity.

The actress acknowledged she never intended to pursue legal action but felt compelled to do so after what she described as ongoing retaliation tied to her requests for a safer working environment. “The last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit,” she said, “but I brought this case because of the pervasive retaliation I faced… for asking for a safe working environment for myself and others.”

She also noted that, regardless of the trial’s outcome, she hopes the case contributes to broader conversations around workplace safety and accountability.

Attorneys for Baldoni, Alexandra Shapiro, and Jonathan Bach welcomed the court’s decision, particularly the dismissal of the sexual harassment allegations and claims against individual defendants. “These were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the court for its careful review of the facts, law, and voluminous evidence,” they said in a statement.

They added that the case is now “significantly narrowed” and expressed confidence in presenting their defense as the remaining claims head to trial.

Taylor Swift Reportedly ‘Relieved’ As Case Takes Turn

Sources close to Taylor Swift say the pop superstar is quietly breathing a sigh of relief following the latest development in Blake Lively’s ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

According to insiders who spoke with journalist Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, Swift views the court’s decision as a meaningful shift, one that could signal the beginning of the end. “It’s a huge relief,” one source said. “This case just got dramatically weaker.”

The insider also suggested there is confusion surrounding Lively’s next steps. “No one understands why Blake isn’t trying to settle,” they claimed. “From the outside, it looks like she’s already lost.”

Beyond the legal implications, timing appears to be a key concern for Swift. As her reported summer wedding to Travis Kelce approaches, sources say the singer is eager to distance herself from the situation altogether. “She wants this wrapped up before her summer wedding,” the insider added. “The timing couldn’t be worse.”

Jessica Lange Returns To Haunt ‘American Horror Story’

Jessica Lange Returns To Haunt 'American Horror Story'

Jessica Lange is making a surprising return to “American Horror Story” after previously saying she has no plans to come back. The acclaimed actress, who has appeared in multiple seasons of the Ryan Murphy horror anthology, will once again join the show alongside series regulars and newcomers for the 13th season.

‘American Horror Story’ Teases Jessica Lange’s Return

On April 6, “American Horror Story” showrunner Ryan Murphy shared a first look at the show’s 13th season, which had just begun filming. The three photos on the Instagram carousel showed a woman with her back turned, staring out a window. “American Horror Story, Season 13. Day One. The return of Jessica Lange!” the caption read.

Little is known about the upcoming season 13, but many are speculating based on the characters returning that it will be a continuation of season 3’s “Coven,” while others assume it’s a sequel to season 1’s “Murder House.” Murphy seemingly confirmed one of the guesses was correct when he replied, “Done” to a fan comment requesting a “Coven extension,” more specifically asking to have Marie Laveau back, the character Angela Bassett portrayed in “Coven.”

Fans Are Ecstatic About Jessica Lange’s Comeback

Lange’s return is a welcome surprise, as she hasn’t appeared in “American Horror Story” since a guest appearance on season 8’s “Apocalypse” in 2018, despite being one of the series’ most beloved actresses.

“We’re finally getting that OG vibe back,” one wrote. “THE reason to watch,” another fan added. “Yes!!! I stopped watching when she stopped coming out in the show,” another wrote.

Others couldn’t believe the news and expressed their excitement over Lange’s return, with one writing, “THE QUEEN IS FINALLY BACK!” and another commenting, “About f-cking time!” One user thanked the showrunner for making it happen, saying, “THANK YOU RYAN.”

The Actress’s History In The Horror Anthology

“American Horror Story” is an anthology series, with each season focusing on a different story with largely the same cast playing different roles.

In season 1, “Murder House,” she portrayed the role of Constance Langdon, a wealthy and eccentric woman with a dark family history. She returned in season 2, “Asylum,” wherein she played Sister Jude Martin, a strict nun who ran an insane asylum.

Lange was the Supreme Witch in season 3, “Coven,” a powerful witch who struggled with mortality and had questionable morals. In season 4, “Freak Show,” the actress returned to play Elsa Mars, the owner of a struggling circus who was in charge of a group of performers with physical quirks.

Lange departed after season 4, returning for a brief cameo appearance as Constance Langdon for season 8 titled “Apocalypse.”

Why Did Jessica Lange Leave ‘American Horror Story’?

In 2015, Lange confirmed that she was done with “American Horror Story.” The actress said she loved portraying different characters in four seasons, but “there’s always an end to everything.”

Lange revealed to Deadline that she initially only signed up for one season, but she enjoyed it so much that she agreed to do three more. “The fact of the matter is, what kept me coming back were the characters. I mean, they wrote such characters for me – so diverse and wild,” the actress said. Ultimately, she left to pursue other projects, and she felt she had done her best on the show after four seasons.

In 2025, Lange was asked whether she was returning, to which she replied, “Oh, Christ no. I haven’t done it for more than 10 years, 12 years. So, no. I’m not doing it.

Inside ‘American Horror Story’ Season 13

Production is officially underway for “American Horror Story” season 13, but details about the storyline or theme have been kept under wraps. A teaser announcing the cast for the new season ended with the words, “Surprise, b-tch. I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me,” a quote from the “Coven” character Madison Montgomery.

Returning cast members include Lange, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, and Evan Peters. Joining them is newcomer Ariana Grande, who had previously worked with Murphy on “Scream Queens.”

“American Horror Story” season 13 is expected to premiere in time for Halloween 2026.

Rege-Jean Page Jokingly Shade’s Bridgerton’s Mistress Twist

Published

on

Just because Regé-Jean Page isn’t on Bridgerton anymore doesn’t mean he isn’t up to date with the show’s biggest story lives — and more divisive twists.

“I check in every now and then [on Bridgerton] because I have a lot of friends there and people I love, and they do wonderful work,” Page, 38, told DuJour on Monday, April 6.

He quipped: “I’m not fully up to date, but I know enough not to be running around asking anyone to be my mistress any time soon.”

The mistress mention was in reference to season 4 of the hit Netflix series where Benedict (Luke Thompson) received backlash for initially making a commitment to love interest Sophie (Yerin Ha) by asking her to be with him in secret.

After playing Simon Basset in Bridgerton‘s first season, Regé-Jean Page explained that he was ready to move on — but is his decision permanent? Viewers quickly fell in love with Page and his character, the Duke of Hastings, when season 1 of the Netflix drama premiered in December 2020. His streamy onscreen romance with Phoebe […]

Page, for his part, hasn’t been on Bridgerton since it premiered in 2020. Bridgerton, which is based on the book series written by Julia Quinn, follows the members of the wealthy Bridgerton family as they search for love in 19th century London. Season 1 focused on Daphne’s (Phoebe Dynevor) unexpected connection with Simon.

After the show premiered, viewers fell in love with Page and his character, which made his departure that much more shocking. Netflix announced in April 2021 that Page would not be reprising his role as the Duke of Hastings despite plans for Daphne to appear in future seasons.

Page stood by his decision even though fans have publicly voiced their disappointment about not getting to see more of Simon’s story. While season 2 still featured several appearances from Daphne, Dynevor, 30, later confirmed her own exit from the series, which didn’t appear to be her choice.

More recently, Page attended Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood event last month where red carpet host Leah Henry asked him about how “a lot of people” on the internet have expressed interest in having his character Simon back on Bridgerton.

“Is there a chance you would ever return?” she asked, to which Page replied, “You know, it’s funny you say that, because I’m not on the internet.”

Henry doubled down by pointing out that fans “need” Page back. “I’m gonna have to take your word for it,” he replied.

After Henry tried one last time to ask if viewers will “see” him again, Page thanked the reporter for the interview and swiftly moved onto the next journalist on the red carpet. The awkward red carpet moment came after Bridgerton showrunner Jess Brownell addressed concerns that Simon could return — with a different actor in the role.

“We are not interested in recasting the characters,” Brownell told Variety in February. “I think it would feel like a disservice to everything Regé and Phoebe [Dynevor] set up in season 1, and all the beautiful work they put into those characters.”

Brownell didn’t rule out an onscreen return for them.

“We would love to potentially have them back at some point, but I think, logistically, we want to make sure we bring them back when we have something really meaty for them,” she continued. “And to have them come back to say a line at a funeral [in season 4] and just prove that they were there, it wouldn’t feel right for many reasons.”

She concluded: “So I think in my mind, the camera doesn’t capture everything. They’re hypothetically there [this season] — it’s television. But we would love to find a time to bring everyone back at some point in the future.”

Bridgerton is currently streaming on Netflix.

Anna Duggar Faces Pressure To Leave Josh

Published

Josh Duggar smiles in new mugshot photograph after being found guilty in child pornography case

Anna Duggar’s life has been under intense scrutiny ever since her husband, Josh Duggar, was convicted in a case that shocked fans of the once-famous reality TV family.

While the scandal upended her seemingly stable life, Anna has remained by his side, even as those closest to her continue to question that decision.

Behind the scenes, family members have reportedly been urging her to move on, while she focuses on raising her seven children and quietly rebuilding her life.

Anna Duggar Urged By Family To Leave Josh Duggar After Conviction

Anna Duggar has reportedly been facing increasing pressure from her family to walk away from Josh Duggar following his conviction.

According to a source, several relatives have openly encouraged her to reconsider her loyalty.

“Anna has several family members who have strongly encouraged her to leave Josh. It’s been very difficult to have those conversations because Anna has been so supportive of Josh, but the family felt that they had to let her know their thoughts” the insider exclusively told Us Weekly.

Despite their concerns, her loved ones are trying to maintain a careful balance.

They reportedly want to keep their relationship with her intact while still being honest about their views.

The situation has not been easy, especially given how deeply the scandal has affected her life.

The source described the aftermath as something she will be dealing with for years, adding that “The only positive thing right now is that he is out of the picture [while in jail].”

Anna Focuses On The Children While Josh Serves Prison Sentence

As Josh Duggar serves a sentence of more than 12 years, Anna Duggar has shifted her attention toward her children.

The couple shares seven kids, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella, and Madyson, who remain at the center of her daily life.

Sources previously emphasized that her role as a mother has not changed, noting that her children are her top priority. She continues to care for them full-time while standing by Josh despite his incarceration.

Josh was arrested in April 2021 for receiving and possessing child pornography and was later found guilty that December.

In May 2022, he was sentenced to 151 months in prison and is expected to remain behind bars until December 2032.

Although he has maintained his innocence, the conviction brought an abrupt end to the family’s former lifestyle.

The couple, who married in 2008, had built what appeared to be a stable life before everything unraveled in 2021, just months before the birth of their seventh child.

Anna Duggar Builds Independence Away From Josh Duggar And His Family

In the years since the conviction, Anna has reportedly begun carving out a more independent life.

Once living on the Duggar family compound, she is no longer residing there and has started creating her own space.

The insider explained that she “has worked very, very hard to get to where she is right now,” highlighting her efforts to move forward.

She has also been described as “becoming independent and gaining strength” as she distances herself from the broader Duggar family.

Part of that shift includes maintaining a lower public profile. Unlike many of her in-laws, Anna does not run a personal social media account, which has helped her avoid constant scrutiny.

However, she occasionally shares updates through her business page, Golden Grove Pups.

In one recent post, she introduced three puppies, writing, “Meet Whitaker, Beaumont, and Harrington — three of our handsome little golden guys,” offering a rare glimpse into her day-to-day life.

While Anna has largely stayed quiet publicly, glimpses into her mindset have surfaced through private communications.

Emails she sent to her brother-in-law, Joseph Duggar, following his own legal troubles, revealed how she has been navigating the broader family situation.

In one message obtained by PEOPLE, she expressed support, writing, “You’ve got our prayers. We love you — however we can help, please let us know.”

At the same time, she cautioned him about speaking freely, advising, “Just remember, don’t talk about anything legal unless you are with an attorney.”

Joseph was arrested in March 2026 in Arkansas, following an investigation by Florida regarding child molestation incidents that allegedly took place in 2020 during a family vacation in Florida.

He was later extradited to Florida, where he pleaded not guilty to charges and was released on a $600,000 bond.

Meanwhile, Amy Duggar has spoken candidly about her cousin Josh Duggar, insisting he could not be “rehabilitated from such sick stuff” following his conviction.

As The Blast reported, Amy made it clear that she believed his behavior pointed to deeper issues, warning that he would “always have those sick urges” and expressing fear about his eventual release.

She also criticized members of the Duggar family for remaining silent over the years, arguing that ignoring the situation only allowed the behavior to continue.

In her view, the pattern of abuse within the family reflected a broader toxic environment, and she firmly stated she would never allow Josh near her child.

“We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,” the rapper’s rep told the outlet in a statement. “He is stable and being closely monitored.”

The circumstances behind the shooting are currently unknown. TMZ was first to report the news.

Offset’s upcoming solo album, Kiari, includes some insight about his divorce from ex Cardi B. The Migos rapper, 33, revealed that Kiari’s closing track, “Move On,” is about the end of his relationship with Cardi, 32. “It’s about moving on, like, peacefully,” Offset explained in a recent interview with the Associated Press. “That’s what the […]

Seminole County, Florida, police subsequently told Page Six that no life-threatening injuries were sustained in the shooting.

“We are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood,” a police spokesperson to the outlet. “Seminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.”

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for Offset and the City of Hollywood Police Department for comment.

Offset’s former Migos bandmate Takeoff was killed in a shooting at age 28 in Houston, Texas, in November 2022. The shooting was linked to a high-stakes dice game where fellow Migos member Quavo was also present, though Takeoff (real name Kirsnick Khari Ball) was reportedly an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire. (Patrick Xavier Clark was indicted for Takeoff’s murder in November 2022 and is awaiting trial. Clark maintains his innocence.)

More than 20,000 people turned out to mourn Takeoff at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena in November 2022, with Cardi B, Justin Bieber and Drake among those in attendance.

Offset confirmed in 2023 that he and Quavo were disbanding Migos in the wake of Takeoff’s death. However, during an October 2025 appearance on the “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast, Offset admitted there were issues within Migos even before Takeoff’s murder.

“Things on the business side wasn’t turning to my favor. I’ve got kids and family,” Offset pointed out. “I’m just getting older and getting more smart, paying more attention to my money and my finances. I felt like I wanted a bigger piece, not from [Quavo and Takeoff] but from the business.”

Offset shares three children — daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 7, son Wave Set Cephus, 4, and daughter Blossom Belle Cephus, 1 — with his estranged wife, Cardi B, 33. He is also a father of sons Jordan Cephus, 16, and Kody Cephus, 11, and daughter Kalea Marie Cephus, 11, from prior relationships. (Cardi B welcomed her fourth child, a boy, with Stefon Diggs in November 2025.)

Following a tumultuous few years, Cardi B confirmed in December 2023 that she had been “single for a minute now.” She subsequently filed for divorce in July 2024.

Everything To Remember From ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Before Its New 10-Part Sequel Premieres

Published

on

Characters from The Walking Dead, Black Mirror, and Foundation

Praise be! The wicked world of Gilead continues its religious oppression in The Testaments, the sequel series to The Handmaid’s Tale. Hulu’s adaptation of famed author Margaret Atwood’s 1985 dystopian thriller saw Elisabeth Moss in a career-defining performance as its main protagonist, June Osborne, aka Offred. Throughout its run, The Handmaid’s Tale won 15 Emmys, captivating millions of viewers across six nail-biting seasons.

One year after the series finale of The Handmaid’s Tale, The Testaments looks to be yet another timely tale about privilege and complicity told through a coming-of-age story, but how does it tie into its predecessor? Let’s take a look at everything you need to remember about The Handmaid’s Tale before watching the premiere of its sequel series.

How Does ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ End?

The final season of The Handmaid’s Tale was markedly much less tragic and painful than previous seasons, but it was not without moments that tugged at your heartstrings. Season 6 focused largely on the rebellion movement, as well as the efforts of June and the main resistance group, Mayday, to liberate Boston from Gilead’s oppression.

Episode 8 sees the Handmaids leading a massive rebellion during Serena’s (Yvonne Strahovski) marriage to Commander Wharton (Josh Charles), which began after a wedding cake laced with sedatives immobilized Gilead’s high society. Episode 9 takes a turn with Gilead’s retaliation through the capture of June and dozens of other Handmaids before efforts to murder them via public execution. However, at the perfect moment, the Mayday-led rebellion emerges and frees the women before slaughtering as many Commanders and Gilead army members as possible.

Then, in yet another triumph, June works with Commander Lawrence (Bradley Whitford) to kill the most powerful remaining oppressors with an airplane bomb, which unfortunately involves the Commander sacrificing himself in the process, taking Nick (Max Minghella), the father of June’s second child, Nichole, along with him. June and the Handmaids finally win, liberating Boston and leaving Gilead the same empty shell its incarcerated Handmaids once were, for so long. Though Gilead is destroyed in Boston, it remains intact throughout the rest of America and is strategizing to maintain power.

In Episode 10, “The Handmaid’s Tale,” rebel forces mobilize to try to take the country back. June finally reunites with Nichole, and she and Luke (O-T Fagbenle) decide to end their marriage while vowing never to stop searching for their daughter, Hannah, who remains firmly in Gilead’s grip. Aunt Lydia (Ann Dowd) experiences a huge change in personal morality, no longer supporting the men of power in the oppressive regime, and after receiving June’s forgiveness, Serena sets out for a refugee camp with nothing but her infant son Noah and a plastic bag of personal belongings. Our one-eyed favorite, Janine (Madeline Brewer), is saved by June from an abusive Commander and reunited with her daughter, Charlotte, and Emily (Alexis Bledel) is also shown to be liberated from her circumstances.

As The Handmaid’s Tale ends, it takes things right back to the beginning, with June returning to the mansion where she once served as a Handmaid. There, she confidently begins to record her story, making it clear that Gilead will continue to fall across the United States, and that she will continue to fight undercover as part of the resistance until she finds Hannah.

‘The Testaments’ Takes Place Four Years After ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’

Image via Hulu

The Testaments novel takes place more than 15 years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale, but the TV adaptation will pick back up in the same world as its predecessor, set just four years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale finale. While the setting remains inside the Republic of Gilead, the plot doesn’t revolve around the Handmaids. Lydia’s evolution will continue as she moves from being a ruthless zealot and disciplinarian to a double agent desperately searching for a way to overthrow Gilead from the inside out.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, while Season 1 of The Testaments will shed light on Aunt Lydia’s life before Gilead through a series of “strategically placed flashbacks,” the sequel’s narrative largely centers on a completely different generation at an elite prep school where a group of young women, raised in luxury and advantage, are being groomed for marriage.

‘The Testaments’ Tells a New Coming-of-Age Story

Aunt Lydia’s school is more like an authoritarian refining academy, where young women are sent to learn how to carry out the various wifely duties expected of them as future spouses of Gilead’s most highly ranked Commanders. At this school, servitude and obedience are prioritized over education, and uniform colors are coordinated — the Pinks are the youngest girls, the Plums are older teens, and the Greens are the eligibles ready for marriage. The transition to Green only occurs if a Plum gets her period, which is marked by a public confession and praise ceremony.

Having grown up inside the regime as the daughter of a powerful Gilead leader, Agnes MacKenzie (Chase Infiniti), who is also June’s daughter, Hannah, knows no other lifestyle beyond the regime’s oppression and brutality. In training as a wife-to-be, Agnes is dutiful and pious; however, she changes her mind and decides to become an aunt instead of marrying her arranged husband. New arrival Daisy (Lucy Halliday), who is a few years younger than Agnes, enters Gilead and the school as a committed convert, but she is soon revealed to have ulterior motives.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

As the two young women navigate the opulent halls of an institute where obedience is brutally instilled with divine justification, they form an intense bond neither of them truly understands. It will soon become the catalyst for upending their past, present, and future, with Daisy’s honesty leading Agnes to question the world around her in ways that threaten to change her life forever.

Just like with The Handmaid’s Tale, don’t expect The Testaments to be a true adaptation. While it will draw on the novel’s main characters, their world, and their situations, the show is expected to take specific liberties to explore the characters’ lives beyond what just one novel could. Remaining a political cautionary tale, The Testaments feels like a warning against both complicity and complacency, as well as a love letter to friendship and an eye-opening reminder of the power of teenage girls to change the world.

The Testaments premieres April 8 with its first three episodes on Hulu.

Tom Hardy’s Abandoned Star Trek Movie Is Officially Streaming for Free

Published

on

breaking-bad-collider-quiz

2025 was a busy year for Tom Hardy, who got the ball rolling by starring in the bone-crunching Netflix original action thriller, Havoc. The film was written and directed by Gareth Edwards, and it was hanging around in the Netflix top 10 as recently as this year — impressive, considering the film debuted last April. Hardy quickly followed Havoc with the debut season of MobLand, the hit crime thriller series from director Guy Ritchie. MobLand co-stars Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, and it stars Hardy as an up-and-coming fixer who gets caught in the middle of a dangerous gang war. Paramount took some time to sit on things, but the studio finally decided to renew MobLand for Season 2, and it could yet return before the end of this year.

Hardy has starred in plenty of famous projects over the years, but most would agree that his true breakout stretch came between 2010 and 2015, from starring in Inception, Locke, The Dark Knight Rises, and Mad Max: Fury Road. These projects established Hardy as one of the most formidable action stars in Hollywood, a status that he maintains to this day. However, back in 2002, Hardy teamed up with Patrick Stewart for the forgotten Star Trek movie, Nemesis, which is largely hated by the Star Trek fan base. The film earned abysmal scores of 37% from critics and 49% from audiences on the aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes, and it grossed only $67 million at the box office against a $60 million budget, making it a massive bomb. All these years later, Star Trek: Nemesis will seek redemption on the free streaming service, Pluto TV, where it’s now available to watch for everyone.

Apple TV’s New 2-Part Thriller Is Officially an Instant Hit With Critics

Published

Jon Hamm as Coop in 'Your Friends & Neighbors' Season 2.

Following the success of an acclaimed third season of the comedy drama Shrinking and an ongoing sophomore installment of the jaw-dropping Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Apple TV has no interest in slowing down in 2026. Ahead of a return to the soccer pitch in Ted Lasso Season 4 and the hotly anticipated Margo’s Got Money Troubles later this month, the streamer dropped the second season of one of its most addictive original shows, Your Friends & Neighbors.

Released in April last year, the Jon Hamm-led thriller, Your Friends & Neighbors, became an instant hit on Apple TV, finding its way to the top of the streaming charts and earning a remarkable 402 million minutes watched in its debut week. The finale, released on May 30, was a particular hit, cracking the Nielsen Top 10 for streaming originals and drawing 392 million minutes viewed that week. Season 1 was also a hit with critics, earning a strong 79% score on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with the consensus on the site reading, “An acidly witty riff on breaking bad, Your Friends & Neighbors‘ class commentary occasionally stumbles but has an endlessly watchable avatar in star Jon Hamm.”

But what about the newest second season? Well, on Rotten Tomatoes, it has performed even better to date, landing an 85% rating from 20 reviews thus far. One critic wrote, “In Season 2, Your Friends & Neighbors gets more textured, showcasing a different level of affluence, the costs of lies, and why wealthy white men, in particular, constantly fail upward.” Season 2 consists of ten episodes, released weekly on Apple TV through June 5, 2026.

For Collider, Nate Richard reviewed Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 and joined those on Rotten Tomatoes by offering glowing praise. After praising the show for “elevating itself to an even more bombastic level than before,” he added, “Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 is further proof that Tropper, Hamm, and Apple TV have made one of the most addictive series on streaming,” Richard continued, “It may juggle a lot, and takes an episode to truly get into the meat of things, but once the scandals start, you can’t look away.”

Your Friends & Neighbors Season 2 is a hit with critics and airs weekly on Apple TV. Make sure to stay tuned to Collider for the latest stories.
