Tyson Fury was consoled by his wife, Paris Fury, after his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

The Briton had taken a three-month break from his spouse prior to the bout, having lost to Usyk in their first clash back in May.

Yet that decision failed to pay off on Saturday, with Fury crashing to defeat against Usyk despite produced a spirited performance.

The Gypsy King was left unhappy as the result was read out inside the Kingdom Arena, with Fury turning down the chance to speak in the ring directly after the result.

Paris wasn’t by Fury’s side for the first fight in May.

She tragically suffered a miscarriage prior to the clash but opted to keep it from her husband in order to protect him from the devastating news.

This time, however, Paris jetted out to the Middle East to watch the action unfold.

And footage from TNT Sports showed her consoling her husband after he lost in dramatic and controversial circumstances in Saudi Arabia.

Both were seen walking towards the dressing room, with Fury appearing downbeat.

While the heavyweight star declined the chance to speak in the ring, he did open up in his post-fight press conference.

And he criticised the decision of the judges to give Usyk the victory, insisting the Ukrainian had received it as an early Christmas present.

“The judges gave him a Christmas gift,” he fumed.

“I feel like I won both fights. I know I had to knock him out but it’s boxing and this happens. There is no doubt in my mind I won this fight.

“Frank [Warren] had me three or four rounds up and a lot of people had me up by at least two.”

On his future, he added: “You might see me fight again, you might not.”

Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, was also left frustrated.

And Warren also expressed a belief that Fury dominated proceedings, even if he was unable to come out on top.

“It’s up to him. It’s just after a fight and emotions are running high,” he said.
