It’s difficult enough to write an excellent book, but it’s an entirely different art unto itself to craft an equally excellent trilogy of them. As long as each book offers a feeling of self-contained satisfaction, and the author also manages to make the whole trilogy feel like an escalating, meaningful, satisfying progression, any trilogy has the potential to be deemed great.
Throughout the 21st century in particular, there have been a few noteworthy book trilogies that haven’t just been great, they’ve been the absolute best of the last 26 years. From YA classics like the Hunger Games series to period pieces like the Wolf Hall trilogy, these have been some truly exceptional sets of novels that have demonstrated why the art of the book trilogy is still alive and well in modern times.
British writer Hilary Mantel was a great master of the historical fiction genre, and she demonstrated that greatly with the last three novels she ever wrote: Wolf Hall, Bring Up the Bodies, and The Mirror & the Light. Set during the 16th century, this trilogy is a sweeping saga chronicling the rise and fall of Thomas Cromwell (which is why this is also known as the Thomas Cromwell trilogy), the son of a blacksmith who became the chief minister to King Henry VIII.
Anchored by Mantel’s beautifully vivid prose and a brilliantly creative reinvention of the Tudor era.
Before it became one of the best miniseries worth watching over and over, Wolf Hall was the greatest historical fiction trilogy of the 21st century. Anchored by Mantel’s beautifully vivid prose and a brilliantly creative reinvention of the Tudor era, the trilogy masterfully strikes the perfect balance between mythologizing Cromwell and also humanizing him with unexpected depth. It’s an entirely unique approach to the genre that makes court politics feel like the most gripping, modern-feeling source of drama imaginable.
Saying that novelist, poet, and literary critic Margaret Atwood is one of the greatest and most important Canadian writers of the 20th and 21st centuries would be quite an understatement. But it’s not all The Handmaid’s Tale with Atwood; there’s also the MaddAddam trilogy, a speculative fiction and adventure romance trilogy (which technically also counts as sci-fi, even if Atwood rejects the label) about a dystopian near-future Earth that’s been decimated by climate collapse.
From Oryx and Crake to The Year of the Flood to the eponymous MaddAddam, the trilogy is a wonderfully human yet bitingly satirical critique of genetic engineering and unchecked capitalist greed. We’re talking about three of the greatest climate-fiction novels of the 21st century, a trio of books bolstered by some exceptional worldbuilding, which present a sense of hope readers don’t often find in the dystopian genre.
With the unprecedented success of J. K. Rowling‘s Harry Potter series, the 21st century saw an unprecedented boom in the Young Adult genre across all media, including literature. From this boom came Cassandra Clare‘s The Mortal Instruments series, six of the most widely beloved YA fantasy novels of the last two decades. Before she finished the series, though, Clare wrote the Infernal Devices trilogy, a prequel series to the Mortal Instruments saga.
To this day, many fantasy fans still deem the Infernal Devices series as not just considerably superior to the original saga, but also three of the best YA books of their era. With its tremendous emotional depth, richly atmospheric Victorian setting, and one of the best love triangles in the history of the YA fantasy genre, Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince, and Clockwork Princess are worth reading even for adult readers. With a more mature writing style than The Mortal Instruments, as well as an emotionally stirring exploration of themes of grief and sacrifice that should resonate with anyone, every reader should love this trilogy, no matter their age.
At this point, with it being such a tremendously successful multimedia franchise, there’s barely any need to even introduce Suzanne Collins‘ Hunger Games trilogy. It should hardly be surprising that the series, which originated and spearheaded the YA dystopia fad of the 2010s, consistently remained the best of the bunch. Still, all that fame and popularity can, at times, make people forget that this is actually a legitimately exceptionally written trilogy.
There’s an argument to be made that the trilogy got slightly weaker as it went on, but Catching Fire and Mockingjay are both still a pair of incredible sequels. There are only a handful of dystopian books better than The Hunger Games, and when it comes to dystopian book trilogies? It doesn’t get much more iconic than this one. With its high-stakes, adrenaline-pumping action, chillingly relevant critiques of authoritarian power and the media’s exploitation of the public, and the profoundly compelling character writing, these three books are essential reading for all those who love the dystopian genre.
It’s not only the English-speaking world that has produced exceptional book trilogies throughout the last 26 years. Case in point: Cixin Liu‘s Chinese series Remembrance of Earth’s Past, consisting of The Three-Body Problem, The Dark Forest, and Death’s End. It was the inspiration for one of the most near-perfect hard sci-fi shows on Netflix, and itself fittingly consists of three books that wonderfully blend hard and soft science fiction elements. Sometimes read as an allegory for China-United States relations, the series is about humanity’s preparation for the invasion of an alien threat.
Alien invasion stories are aplenty, but few reach the awe-inspiring, downright epic cosmic scale that the Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy benefits from. Mind-bending, sharply political, and boldly philosophical, it’s a series that perfectly lends itself to some of the most profound analyses that one will get from any 21st-century book trilogy. It’s a must-read for all those who enjoy literary science fiction, and even though its characters may sometimes feel like somewhat shallow vessels for the plot, the plot itself is so deliriously entertaining and emotionally compelling that it’s easy to forgive that as a feature, not necessarily a bug.
When science fiction meets fantasy in a way that blurs the line between both genres, along the same vein of the kind of magic that Star Wars achieves, it becomes a genre known as science fantasy—and N. K. Jemisin‘s The Broken Earth is one of the best science fantasy book trilogies in history, let alone of the 21st century. It’s an epic post-apocalyptic tale set on a supercontinent called the Stillness, where humanity struggles to survive cataclysmic natural disasters that occur periodically.
The Fifth Season won the Hugo Award for Best Novel, as did its first sequel, The Obelisk Gate. The Stone Sky may not have achieved the same honor, but it is the highest-rated book of the trilogy on Goodreads, and isn’t the favor of the court of public opinion the ultimate award? In any case, these are three of the best sci-fi books of the last 10 years. With Jemisin’s unique eye for breathtaking world-building, instantly captivating imagination, and ambitious narrative structure, it’s no wonder that the Broken Earth series has received so much praise. Jemisin is well-known for her bold artistic choices, and there are plenty of those here (including a particular POV being narrated in second person), making this essential reading for sci-fi fans.
Those who have grown tired of the likes of George R. R. Martin and Patrick Rothfuss seeming unable to finish the book series that they’ve been promising for well over a decade ought to take a look at Brandon Sanderson. He is easily one of the greatest fantasy authors of modern times, and few of his works demonstrate that better than the Mistborn series. The books are organized into four eras (only two of which have been completed up to this point) with large time jumps between each other, making it so that each era feels entirely like its own series. Era One of Mistborn is composed of The Final Empire, The Well of Ascension, and The Hero of Ages, and it feels like a completely self-contained story as high-quality as any of Sanderson’s previous and future masterpieces.
It’s one of the few fantasy book series better than Harry Potter, the kind that must be read in order to be truly believed. It’s a masterpiece of modern fantasy unlike any other, with one of the best hard magic systems ever written, a powerful subversion of the “Dark Lord” trope, and a mind-blowing ending that recontextualizes the whole thing and makes a re-read instantly tempting. It’s an exquisitely creative work of genre literature that always takes full advantage of its fascinatingly original premise, full of the same kind of slow-building tension and airtight structure that all fans of Sanderson have come to expect. Some have called Sanderson’s prose here overly simplistic, but those who appreciate highly accessible and functional language over unnecessarily flowery styles are bound to find Mistborn irresistible.
For all you “ride or die” Yellowstone fans out there, Paramount+ has dropped the best news you could ask for. After that record-breaking premiere and a handful of Texas-sized episodes, Dutton Ranch has officially been renewed for a second season. That’s right, folks: Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) are set to return for more post-Taylor Sheridan adventures on the streaming platform, and with the news of a renewal ahead of the Season 1 finale, we can’t wait to see how this first batch of episodes ends. Sorry, Marshals, but there’s a reason that the Rip and Beth show is Yellowstone‘s true successor.
In many respects, Dutton Ranch has defied the neo-Western odds. Spin-offs and sequels often fall short on the premise of the original flagship title they spun off from, but that hasn’t been the case here. Even without Taylor Sheridan in the writers’ room (which, frankly, has been refreshing), the Chad Feehan-created series has gone to great lengths to maintain the same level of visual and narrative quality, while offering something more character-specific and appealing for its leading protagonists. Despite Feehan’s exit ahead of the Season 1 premiere, the series has caught on like wildfire (too soon?), with many quite impressed at how the Yellowstone Universe has managed to carve a path of its own apart from John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and the original horse opera. If that can continue into Season 2, then fans will be in for a real Lone Star-style treat.
Part of the reason Dutton Ranch works so dang well is that it isn’t afraid to be its own thing, nor is it unwilling to rework its leading characters to better carry the story. The show immediately removes Rip, Beth, and Carter (Finn Little) from the mountainscapes of Montana and sends them down south to the U.S.-Mexico border, a place rife with narrative opportunity. In all of that, the series has managed to give each of its three returning Yellowstone leads — and all the fresh Rio Paloma newcomers — discernible character arcs and engaging material to chew on. Beth, for instance, is more of a well-rounded and interesting character now than she ever was back when Sheridan was at the helm, and Carter has really grown into his own as well. Rip is something of an anomaly in that he’s basically the same guy he was on Yellowstone, but that’s kind of always worked for him.
‘Dutton Ranch’ Is the Ultimate Fix for ‘Yellowstone’s Controversial Series Finale | Review
‘Dutton Ranch’ premieres with its first two episodes May 15 on Paramount+.
Supporting players like Annette Bening (who, ironically, was a Kevin Costner love interest back in the criminally underrated Open Range), Ed Harris, Natalie Alyn Lind, J. R. Villarreal, and Juan Pablo Raba all play their parts with the same high level of care you’d expect from anyone in 1883, 1923, or any of Sheridan’s other Paramount dramas. Even Jai Courtney is pretty exceptional as the reckless, menacing, and all-around deplorable Rob-Will Jackson. Of course, Bening and Harris are the obvious breakout Dutton Ranch stars here, and it’s always a pleasure to watch them play alongside Hauser and Keilly. In short, those worried that Dutton Ranch couldn’t live up to its name after Yellowstone have been sorely mistaken.
With Taylor Sheridan’s 1944 prequel still in development and Marshals already renewed for a second season on CBS, it seems like the Yellowstone universe is as prevalent now as it was when Costner was the face of the franchise. That said, only one series can reign as the “cattle king” over the rest, and if we had to pick which of the various modern Dutton dramas is the best of the bunch, Dutton Ranch would be the top contender. Not only does it allow Beth and Rip to continue their story beyond the shadow of the Yellowstone itself (something Marshals hasn’t quite figured out yet), but it has remained consistent in its cinematic quality. It looks and feels just as dynamic as Yellowstone did, something no network television-based spin-off (no matter its potential) could pull off.
This isn’t to say there isn’t merit to Kayce Dutton’s (Luke Grimes) story. The procedural format, though severely limiting to his story, generally works for that character, but for Beth and Rip, it’s clear that they need more time to iron out their issues on the streaming screen. Dutton Ranch is a worthy Yellowstone heir, and though that “Y” is no longer the leading symbol that Beth and Rip fall under, it will always stick with them. Considering how well both Dutton Ranch and Marshals are already doing on streaming, it’s clear the franchise is stronger than it’s ever been.
After writing around Rob Reiner‘s obvious absence, The Bear‘s series finale found a way to pay tribute to the late actor.
The conclusion, which premiered on Thursday, June 25, acknowledged Reiner’s character Albert Schnurr through Ebra (Edwin Lee Gibson). After calling Albert for advice throughout the season, Ebra got in contact with him to share good news.
“Albert, we are in business,” Ebra said over the phone. “It’s perfect. I will have all the documents, email it to you immediately. Anything else I can do?”
Albert couldn’t be heard on the other end but Ebra replied, “As you wish.” The line was an obvious nod at Cary Elwes‘ line from the 1987 movie The Princess Bride, which was directed by Reiner. While Albert wasn’t in the season, Ebra’s story line appeared to hint that Reiner was expected to have a large role before his death.
News broke in December 2025 that Rob and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in an apparent homicide. Their son. Nick was arrested and held without bail on a suspicion of murder charge. Rob and Michele’s other children — son Jake and daughter Romy — have since broken their silence on the couple’s tragic deaths and brother Nick’s arrest. (Rob also shared daughter Tracy with late ex-wife Penny Marshall.)

“Words cannot even begin to describe the unimaginable pain we are experiencing every moment of the day. The horrific and devastating loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something that no one should ever experience,” read their January statement. “They weren’t just our parents; they were our best friends.”
The statement continued: “We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences, kindness and support we have received not only from family and friends but people from all walks of life. We now ask for respect and privacy, for speculation to be tempered with compassion and humanity and for our parents to be remembered for the incredible lives they lived and the love they gave.”
Nick was ultimately charged with two counts of first-degree murder and pleaded not guilty in February. The screenwriter is next scheduled to appear in court in September.
In April, Jake recalled the moment he learned about Rob and Michele’s deaths and called his mom and dad the “center” of his life.
“A week from today, I will be approaching my first birthday without my parents,” he wrote via Instagram. “I consider myself lucky to have had them by my side for the past 34 years. In the last four months, I’ve learned a lot about grief. I want to thank @iamdavidkessler, who has been instrumental in navigating the horrors of this process, as well as my family and friends.”
Jake concluded: “For anyone dealing with any type of grief and loss, I see you.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have yet to confirm wedding plans, but that hasn’t stopped speculation surrounding the superstar couple from reaching a fever pitch. As rumors continue to swirl about a possible July wedding, new reports are offering a glimpse into what Taylor Swift could wear if she eventually walks down the aisle.

According to Page Six, the Grammy winner is reportedly considering multiple custom-designed gowns for the occasion, with some notable names in the fashion world said to be involved. Sources told the outlet that several custom wedding dresses have already been created for Swift to select from, with designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia among those reportedly being considered.
The fashion duo recently stepped down as co-creative directors of Oscar de la Renta, but they remain highly respected figures in the industry through their label, Monse. If the reports are accurate, the collaboration would make sense given Swift’s longstanding relationship with both designers and their work.

Earlier this week, Swift surprised fans when she took the stage during Travis Kelce’s Tight End University event in Nashville. For the appearance, she wore a sleeveless black Monse dress featuring shimmering silver details, once again showcasing her connection to the brand.
The singer has also worn Oscar de la Renta designs on several high-profile occasions over the years, including red carpet appearances, the Met Gala, and even during the record-breaking “Eras Tour.”
One of her most memorable recent fashion moments came at Selena Gomez‘s wedding last year, where Swift wore a sparkling Oscar de la Renta gown reportedly valued at nearly $37,000. The dress featured intricate floral embellishments and shimmering sequin details, quickly becoming a fan favorite.

According to the report, Swift is unlikely to participate in traditional bridal fittings if custom gowns are being created. Instead, designers would reportedly work from a mannequin built to her exact measurements, allowing the dresses to be completed privately while maintaining secrecy around the final designs.
Given Swift’s global fame and the intense public interest surrounding her relationship with Kelce, keeping details under wraps would likely be a top priority.

Wedding dress rumors first surfaced earlier this year when a separate source claimed Swift had been looking to Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor for inspiration. The insider alleged that Swift became fascinated with Taylor’s classic style while researching the actress for a song featured on her 2025 album, “The Life Of A Showgirl.”
According to the source, Swift was particularly drawn to the lace detailing and cinched-waist silhouette of the legendary actress’s wedding gown from her 1950 marriage to Conrad Hilton.
The report also suggested Swift admires Taylor’s famous jewelry collection and could potentially seek permission from the late actress’s estate to wear one of her pieces on her wedding day.

The latest fashion rumors arrive amid continued speculation surrounding Swift and Kelce’s future together. Neither star has publicly confirmed engagement or wedding plans, but reports have continued to circulate about a potential multi-day celebration in New York City over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. Additional rumors have suggested the couple could host both an intimate gathering for close family and friends as well as a larger celebration attended by hundreds of guests.
While rumors surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding continue to dominate headlines, one of the NFL star’s closest friends recently revealed a surprising request the couple has reportedly made ahead of the big day.
Speaking during this year’s Tight Ends & Friends concert, San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle claimed that Swift and Kelce have instructed guests not to bring wedding presents. “They said absolutely no gifts,” Kittle said.
The tight end admitted he’s still considering bending the rules with a small personal gesture for his longtime friend. “I was thinking … Travis for some reason likes old coins,” Kittle explained. “So I might get him an old coin. Sounds expensive, too.”
Kittle appeared to further fuel rumors surrounding Swift and Kelce’s reported wedding plans during a separate interview. While discussing Swift’s surprise appearance at the Tight Ends & Friends concert in Nashville, the San Francisco 49ers star expressed gratitude that the pop superstar took time out of her schedule to support the event.
“She’s such an awesome person to give us her time this close to her wedding, so we’re just so thankful that they’re here,” Kittle told the outlet.

Authorities confirmed that the 24-year-old was “booked for domestic violence, criminal threats and false imprisonment,” with a spokesperson for the Burbank Police Department noting that due to the nature of the case, details remain limited as detectives prepare to present it to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
According to reports from NBC4, the arrest stemmed from an incident at a Burbank residence around 5:30 a.m., where a 911 caller allegedly reported hearing a woman screaming. When officers arrived, they reportedly found Zaire with a female who had visible cuts on her face and body. Authorities later issued an emergency protective order and reportedly recovered a handgun from the home during the investigation.
Zaire, who once stood out as a high school basketball star at Sierra Canyon with multiple college offers, ultimately chose to pursue a professional path after graduation. As of now, Dwyane Wade hasn’t publicly addressed the situation involving his son. He and Gabrielle Union recently attended a World Cup match at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Folks quickly ran to The Shade Room’s comment section after news of Zaire Wade’s arrest surfaced and didn’t hold back their reactions. Some users appeared confused, thinking the reports were referring to rapper Desiigner. While others expressed disappointment and said they want better outcomes for Black men in situations like this. Latto has settled into motherhood and she’s loving every minute of it. The Atlanta femcee opened up about being a first-time mom, postpartum, and life with her baby girl during an exclusive interview with Monica on Essence magazine’s ‘Yes, Girl!’ podcast. On top of sharing details about her new era, Big Mama even spilled tea on whether her daughter takes after her or 21 Savage.
Big Mama sat down with Monica to chop it up about everything from her baby girl’s personality to how motherhood has changed her so far. While chatting, Latto didn’t hesitate to say that even though she carried her daughter, everybody thinks she looks just like her daddy 21 Savage. She even admitted it herself, saying she does look like him, but she did get her dimple as well as her curly hair. “Everybody say she looks like her daddy and that just be pissing me off, cause I’m the one that carried her.” She continued, “That’s about it right now, but she definitely looks like her daddy.”
But that’s not all, she thinks her daughter has inherited from her. She said lil’ mama might not be able to talk yet, but she definitely tries and she feels like when she does, she tries to talk back. She also said her daughter will probably have her feisty attitude since she used to be a little troublemaker growing up. “I wasn’t the easiest out of the two […] So pray for me,” Latto said.
Big Mama didn’t hold nothing back during her sit-down interview with Monica. She admitted the biggest thing that shocked her about motherhood was not wanting to leave her daughter at all. She said she still wants to keep hustling and working, but sometimes she just wants to be right at home with her baby girl.
“I feel like I don’t want to leave the house no more.” Latto added, “I’m such an ambitious person, so these things are contradicting right now. I want to work and work on my album and do all of the things. But I do want to be home with my baby girl too.”
Latto and her baby girl have been the talk of timelines ever since she shared photos of her back in May. Big Mama dropped some sweet flicks with her lil’ mama shortly after her album dropped. Fans instantly flooded Latto’s comment section with heart eyes, gushing over her mini-me and loving to see her in her motherhood era.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are once again making headlines after a brief interaction between the couple during a recent trip to Paris sparked debate online.
While some social media users questioned the nature of their relationship following the viral moment, the renewed attention comes amid ongoing public interest in their unconventional marriage.
Will Smith has also been plagued by a legal drama related to an alleged sexual assault, which a judge recently dismissed.

Will and Jada recently became the subject of online debate after a brief interaction between the couple in Paris sparked strong reactions across social media.
The pair, who have maintained an unconventional “life partnership” despite revealing they have lived separately since 2016, were in France alongside their children during Fashion Week events. Attention shifted to the couple after a video captured a moment outside their hotel.
In the clip, Will paused to greet supporters and sign autographs while a crowd of fans and photographers gathered nearby. As he interacted with admirers, Jada walked past him, briefly placing a hand on his back before continuing toward a waiting vehicle.
The seemingly ordinary exchange quickly became a talking point online after some social media users interpreted the gesture as dismissive, claiming she “shoved” her husband and briskly left him with fans.
Critics claimed Jada appeared uninterested in her husband’s interaction with the fans, with several commenters describing the moment as awkward and questioning the dynamic of their relationship.
See the viral clip here.

On social media, fans have shared different opinions on the interaction between Will and Jada, with some claiming she was being “harsh” to the actor.
One individual wrote in a viral post on X, “Jada Pinkett shoved Will Smith aside while he was signing autographs for fans and walked away like he was a complete stranger.”
Another person wrote, “She either has some crazy -ss blackmail on him or a voodoo spell because how the f-ck has he not walked away from this woman yet?”
However, many defended Jada, arguing that her interaction with Will was “normal” and showed no sign of friction.
“Y’all love to make something out of nothing. He stopped in the middle of the walkway as she was walking, and she was moving herself to walk away,” a person said.
Another wrote, “I think they [walked] together, then she just slides to the other side since she is not the one signing the autograph”

The discussion comes as public fascination with the couple’s relationship continues years after Jada revealed in 2023 that she and Will quietly separated in 2016. Despite living independently, the two have repeatedly emphasized that they remain committed to one another and have chosen not to end their marriage legally.
The couple, who married in 1997, have been open about the challenges they faced over the years. During interviews, Jada explained that both she and Will reached a point of exhaustion in trying to meet expectations they had for each other, leading them to redefine their relationship rather than formally divorce.
“By the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying,” she said during an appearance on Today with Hoda Kotb. “I think we were both still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be.”
She also revealed that a promise she made early in their marriage continues to influence their decision not to divorce. “I made a promise that there will never be a reason for us to get a divorce. We will work through whatever. And I just haven’t been able to break that promise,” she added.

While their personal lives continue to attract attention, Will and Jada have remained active professionally. Will is set to star in “Supermax,” a crime thriller that marks one of his first major original film projects in several years.
The film follows two FBI agents investigating a murder inside one of the world’s most secure prisons. Production is expected to begin later this year, with Will taking on one of the lead roles.
The couple has also continued working together through Westbrook, their entertainment company, which recently secured a first-look deal with Paramount Pictures.
The partnership is seen as another step in Will’s gradual return to major Hollywood projects following the fallout from the 2022 Academy Awards incident involving Chris Rock. Under the arrangement, Will is expected to star in select productions, while Jada will focus on producing and developing content.

Meanwhile, Will also scored a legal victory last month after a judge dismissed a sexual harassment lawsuit filed by former touring violinist Brian King Joseph.
Joseph alleged that an incident at a Las Vegas hotel in 2025 created a hostile work environment. According to court filings, he claimed that someone entered his hotel room without permission and left a handwritten note along with several personal items, including wipes, beer, and HIV medication.
He alleged the incident was connected to Will and later sued for sexual harassment and wrongful termination after claiming he was removed from his position for reporting his concerns.
However, the court ruled that the allegations, as presented, did not meet the legal standard required for a sexual harassment claim. The judge found that the complaint “fails to adequately allege conduct that is sufficiently severe or pervasive.”
The ruling also noted that Joseph had not established that Will or members of his management team were the only people who could have accessed the hotel room, citing circumstances suggesting others may have had access to the room key during the relevant period.
As a result, the lawsuit was dismissed. However, Joseph was granted permission to amend and refile his complaint if he is able to address the deficiencies identified by the court.
Roomies, y’all already know that GloRIlla’s sister, Victoria ‘BroRIlla’ Woods always says exactly what’s on her mind. This time, she has social media popping OFF after she shared her thoughts on Donald Trump and she made it crystal clear that nobody could ever make her hate him.
Recently, Victoria ‘BroRilla’ Woods dropped a video on social media saying she’s standing ten toes behind Trump, no matter how anybody feels. She said she thinks he’s actually the best president the United States ever had. “He is the best president we ever m***** f****g had! I don’t give a f*** what none of y’all m****** f****s say.”
BroRilla also added that she respects him simply because he moves how he wants and never sugarcoats a thing.
“He ain’t sneaky. He gonna do s**t in your face and he gonna say s**t in your face.” BroRilla continued, “He ain’t gonna sit here and say what he not gonna do and what is gonna do and don’t do it.”
Of course, BroRilla’s comments had folks online going OFF with reactions. Several people hopped in The Shade Room Teens comment section joking that he probably gave her money, while others said they think she was just trolling.

Jenifer Lewis is looking back on one of the most personal chapters of her life. The “Black-ish” star recently opened up about her past struggles with sex addiction, revealing that intimacy became a coping mechanism during the height of her career as she searched for ways to come down from the adrenaline rush of performing.

Speaking candidly on Keke Palmer’s “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast, Lewis shared details about her journey, admitting she didn’t recognize her behavior as problematic at the time.
During the conversation, Lewis reflected on her younger years in the entertainment industry and the choices she made while navigating fame and success. “There’s no shame in my game,” she said before revealing she had been involved with dozens of men throughout her career.
Despite describing some of those experiences positively, Lewis acknowledged that her perspective has changed with age and self-reflection. Looking back, she said she wishes she had better understood her self-worth and viewed her body differently during that period of her life.

Lewis explained that performing on stage often left her searching for a way to come down from the emotional high that came with audience applause and recognition.
According to the actress, many performers turn to various outlets after experiencing that rush, and for her, sex became the answer. “Sex was the drug,” Lewis admitted.
The Hollywood veteran said she didn’t initially recognize the behavior as an addiction because it felt normal within the environment she was living in at the time.

Lewis revealed that the AIDS crisis ultimately forced her to reevaluate her choices and consider deeper questions about her life. She recalled reaching a point where she realized there had to be more to life than chasing temporary fulfillment.
“I had known 200 people that died. And when I tell you they died like flies, they dropped like flies. I mean, you’d come home, and three would be dead. You come home, five would be dead on the phone machine,” Lewis told Palmer on the podcast. “It didn’t make sense because we were too young to experience that kind of death. You can deal with that when you’re wiser and older, and your older friends are dying. We were in our 20s for God’s sake.”
That realization sparked a personal journey focused on self-discovery, healing, and understanding what genuine love meant to her. Today, Lewis says she’s happier than ever and grateful for the life she’s built. “I feel better than I ever have. I’m so happy in my life,” she said.

Lewis has never shied away from discussing difficult chapters of her life. The actress previously revealed that she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in the early 1990s. At first, she resisted medication because she feared it would affect her creativity and performance abilities.
Eventually, however, she embraced treatment and has since become an advocate for mental health awareness. Over the years, Lewis has often spoken publicly about the importance of seeking help and removing the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

Lewis faced another painful experience in 2020 when she was identified as one of several women allegedly defrauded by California gym manager Antonio Mariot Wilson. Federal prosecutors accused Wilson of convincing multiple women to invest money in fake business ventures after developing romantic relationships with them.
According to reports, Lewis lost approximately $50,000 after Wilson allegedly persuaded her to invest in what he claimed was a legitimate film-related project. The actress later said Wilson had researched her online before approaching her at a Los Angeles-area gym and eventually convincing her to trust him.
Wilson ultimately agreed to plead guilty to one count of wire fraud.

While younger audiences may know Lewis best as Ruby Johnson on ABC’s hit sitcom “Black-ish,” her career spans decades across television, film, and Broadway.
Her lengthy résumé includes memorable roles in projects such as “Beaches,” “Sister Act,” “Poetic Justice,” “The Preacher’s Wife,” “Cast Away,” “Girlfriends,” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”
Roomies, Mo’Nique is once again making it very clear she’s not here for how some of Hollywood’s most powerful voices handle stories about the late Whitney Houston. And this time, she’s directly addressing Oprah Winfrey in a conversation that’s reigniting old tensions and sparking fresh debate online.
During a recent appearance on the ‘My Husband Is My Best Friend’ YouTube channel, Mo’Nique responds to questions about Oprah Winfrey revisiting a moment involving Whitney Houston allegedly falling during a 2009 taping of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show.’ The Oscar-winning actress pushes back and questions why people publicly discuss private or sensitive details about someone who is no longer alive. “How do you speak about someone that can’t defend it?” Mo’Nique says, adding that it becomes unfair when audiences get expected to accept one narrative without hearing from the person involved. She also emphasizes that her comments don’t come from disrespect, but from accountability, noting, “I still love my sister, Oprah Winfrey… it’s simply just correction.”
The discussion stems from Oprah’s recent remarks at Cannes Lions, where she reflected on Whitney Houston’s final appearance on her talk show. Oprah claimed Whitney had “gone back on drugs” and referenced a moment where she said the singer “fell off of the stage,” adding that she discouraged audience members from sharing images out of concern for Whitney’s public image. Those comments quickly sparked pushback from Whitney Houston’s estate, which disputed the implication that drugs played a role in the fall. The estate maintains that Whitney slips during a soundcheck in a darkened area and is “absolutely not high,” urging that people don’t tie her personal struggles to every professional moment.
Mo’Nique also pointed out what she sees as a double standard, referencing Oprah’s own onstage fall in 2020 where she publicly attributed the incident to wearing the “wrong shoes.” While used as a comparison, Mo’Nique argued that living individuals are able to explain their experiences in real time, unlike Whitney, who can no longer respond for herself.
The conversation also ties into Mo’Nique’s long-standing tensions with Oprah, Tyler Perry, and Lee Daniels, dating back to the fallout from ‘Precious.’ Mo’Nique says Hollywood blackballs her after she speaks out about industry treatment following her Academy Award-winning role. She also calls out Oprah over a past episode involving her estranged family, saying she gets misled about who appears on camera and later feels blindsided by how the segment unfolds.
