Days of our Lives: Sarah’s Patient Tragedy Brings Liam Back – Gabi in Huge Trouble!
Days of Our Lives reveals Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) tragically lost a patient from the free clinic. Her name was Destiny and she came in sick and she told Sarah she took some pills but didn’t know what she took and then she wound up collapsing in Horton Town Square. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) was there to call 911 and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) happened to stroll by.
But despite two EMTs and a doctor on hand, Destiny died and later an upset Sarah told Xander that Destiny had a link to Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) and that means big trouble is coming for Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).
Days of our Lives: Sarah’s New Patient
Recently, Sarah saw the new patient. Destiny came into the free clinic complaining about nausea and severe headaches, wondering if she was going to get terrible care because it’s free. And she kept insisting she was in intense pain. And Sarah was sympathetic, but she refused to give Destiny pain meds until they figured out what was wrong. So, she was really angry at Sarah.
Plus, Destiny admitted to taking unknown pills from the medicine cabinet because she was feeling bad. And to me, that made her seem like a pill seeking problem patient, you know, like addict behavior. Sarah wanted to run more tests, but Destiny got upset and she ran out of the free clinic griping that Sarah didn’t help her at all.
Days of our Lives: Destiny’s Collapse
And later, when Sarah saw Destiny in the square, she told Sarah she was actually on her way back to the hospital because she felt worse. But then Destiny just dropped down to the ground like a rock. Out of it, no pulse. Xander ran over while Sarah was doing CPR. And even with JJ and Javi there with all their gear, it was just sadly too late.
And now Sarah is eaten up with guilt for not doing more to get Destiny to stay at the clinic and figure out what was wrong. And to top it off, Sarah had to break the news to her family. And she had to admit to them she couldn’t save Destiny on Days of our Lives.
Days of our Lives: A Troubling Connection
And then Sarah went through Destiny’s medical records looking for info. And Sarah found out that Destiny’s family had a double dose of tragedy because 2 years ago her sister died of what was presumed to be an overdose. However, the autopsy results were indeterminate. So, it was very sad for their parents for sure. And then Sarah noticed that Liam Selejko was named as Destiny’s emergency contact.
So the plot thickens and it turns out that Destiny’s dead sister Clea is the mother of Liam’s son. Presumably she has this dead sister and then the emergency contact. So doing the math because he has talked about his ex overdosing and it was Destiny’s sister he seemed to be talking about.
So Sarah’s eager to talk to Liam about Destiny and Clea both because Sarah feels there’s a connection. She thinks it’s strange two sisters died of similar circumstances within a few years of each other and it is. So maybe Destiny and Clea had some underlying medical condition. They were both drug users, but Sarah’s wondering if there’s more to it. And if you remember, Clea’s autopsy was imprecise, but Liam told Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia) that she had died from an overdose. So that means Liam knew she was doing drugs.
Gabi’s Secret Comes Crashing Down on DOOL
This Sarah thing could end up though bringing big trouble to Gabi because this week Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Ari and Gabi were celebrating Ari’s birthday. And while Gabi stepped away to chat with Xander, Ari was grilling her uncle Rafe. She wanted him to help her locate Liam. And Rafe refused. And Ari said, “Fine, I’ll find Liam myself.” Ari was also suspicious because Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was there on a date and gave Gabi a friendly wave.
Ari knows exactly how much Gabi and Julie hate each other. So Ari immediately clocked that as a red flag, but we know Julie did Gabi a solid and helped handle Liam’s parole to get him out of Salem because Gabi doesn’t think Liam is right for her precious Ari. So much so that Gabi wrote Liam a big check and took care of his parole issues. That way he could take his son and leave, get a fresh start.
Days of our Lives: History Repeating
But Ari, you know, likes older guys and she prefers bad boys. If you remember, she was with con man Doug when he was in town for a while. And then, of course, low-level criminal Liam caught Ari’s eye until Gabi managed to run him off.
So Ari has no idea that Gabi forced him out of town with a big bribe. And of course, Ari and Liam weren’t officially dating, but they were getting close. And they had just shared their very first kiss, and it was magic. And Ari told him that Gabi wouldn’t judge him because she had been to prison a couple of times herself. But guess what? She did judge Liam. And so Gabi tried to convince Ari to stay away from him because of his troubled past and connection to the Demir kidnappings. And when Ari wouldn’t cut ties, Gabi cut them for her.

Days of our Lives: A Day of Reckoning Ahead
And that means there is a day of reckoning coming. It’s like Gabi learned nothing from how badly she screwed up with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). That’s another case of Gabi lying and plotting against a loved one and it came back to blow up in her face. So I think that Gabi bribing Liam and getting him to leave town is going to come out soon and I fully expect Ari to explode on her mom. Sarah is going to try and find Liam and she might be able to use official resources because he is the emergency contact and this all ties back to her dead patient Destiny.
Obviously, the parole board will know where Liam is. And once Sarah brings him to town because of this Destiny issue, I can see it going a couple of ways. One, Ari spots him and rushes over to confront him about why Liam left and hasn’t answered her calls or texts and is just ghosting her. Or Ari might roll up on Gabi chewing out Liam for daring to come back to Salem. Either way, Gabi’s going to wind up outed because of Sarah trying to get more info on the patient that she lost.
Days of our Lives: Liam’s Redemption Path
And of course, if you’re a mom like me, you probably get why Gabi wanted Liam away from Ari. The guy has issues. But to his credit, he was trying to make a better life for his son after the shooting incident.
Liam got a job at Julie’s bookstore. He was doing his parole. He was working on his literacy. And he was trying to stay on the straight and narrow and be a good example for his son. And Ari was thrilled that she could pop into the bookstore and see her crush Liam whenever she wanted. And he seemed genuinely into Ari, especially after she took care of Liam and let him hide in her dorm room after he was grazed by that bullet when Vivian’s thug tried to kill him and shot Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and then grazed him as well.
So obviously Ari’s going to be beyond excited when she sees that Liam’s back in Salem. And then Ari’s going to be furious to find out why he left. And you know, she’s not going to stop until she finds out. I don’t think he will rat out Gabi immediately, but it’s going to come out. So Sarah’s medical curiosity is about to bite Gabi right in her perky backside. And there is no telling how bad it’s going to get when Ari finds out what her mom Gabi did. And this Destiny thing could actually be the launch pad for that tainted pill plot that came up in the big summer promo for Days of Our Lives. So, buckle up. It’s about to be a wild ride.

Young and Restless Next Week: Nikki’s Terrifying Diagnosis & Matt’s Next Victim!
Young and the Restless fresh spoilers for the week of June 8th, including Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) getting a terrifying health diagnosis and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) plotting against a new victim. Plus, the Shadow Room in Genoa City opens for business and Shamar Moore finally returns.
We’ve got the latest YNR spoilers for the week of June 8th through the 12th. So, we also have several characters leaving town for that big Beyond the Gates crossover. We’ll talk about all of this. Let’s dive right in.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Matt Clark’s Test
First of all, let’s check in with Matt Clark and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). So, at the end of this week, Matt tells Victor about his memories coming back, and he can remember all the awful things he did, but not why he did them. And then Victor tells Matt that he’s really going to be watching him closely.
So, Victor thinks that Matt is either a liar or has a terrible mental disorder. And Victor tells Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to focus on his recovery while Victor keeps Matt close and tests him to see how repentant he really is. Victor thinks if Matt really wants redeemed, then the Newmans can use him.
So, Victor plans to put Matt to a major test and if he fails, Victor is going to crush him. So, after Matt showers, he gets all cleaned up and changed. He feels like a new man. And then he offers Nick another apology and Victor tells Matt at the end of this week that he wants to test his sincerity and he tells Victor he’s ready for it. Also at the end of this week, this ties into it. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) comes to see Victor and is stunned when he gives her Chancellor and then Lily goes and tells Cain that she wants him to run Chancellor for her.
Young and the Restless: Matt Tells Victor He is Ready
So, all of this ties back into Matt’s big test because next week, Young and the Restless spoilers have Matt telling Victor that he’s ready. And they talk over a plan for Matt to do something to Cain to prove himself to Victor. But if Matt has really become this changed man, would he really agree to do something bad to Cain? We all know that Victor’s sense of morality is really skewed.
But it seems like if Matt does a bad thing to Cain, then he fails the new man test. And if Matt doesn’t do a bad thing to Cain, then he fails the mustache test. And Victor only has a couple of episodes, by the way, to discuss this with Matt because then Victor has got to pack his bags, hop on the private jet, and head to Washington DC for his role on the Beyond the Gates crossover.
The YNR/BTG Crossover Event
If you have not watched BTG, and you want to give it a try, set your DVR for Wednesday through Friday to watch Young and the Restless characters over there. So, not only is Victor going to be on, but so will Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), and Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway). There’s a political fundraiser, and Victor is the keynote speaker. So, Devon, by the way, has already crossed over to Beyond the Gates a couple of times, and just if you haven’t given it a try, it’s a good soap. I really enjoy it.
Nikki’s Health Crisis
So, now let’s talk about Nikki Newman and what goes on with her while Victor is gone. So Nikki’s health takes a drastic turn for the worse after being plagued by those migraines. If you remember, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was worried this week, but Nikki insisted. Just another multiple sclerosis symptom. So when Victoria wanted Nikki to go to the doctor this week, she refused. But Victoria may change her mind because next week Nikki suddenly has very concerning vision issues and that could mean a stroke or a blood clot, something going on in her brain, especially when you combine it with the headaches.
So after initially telling Victoria no to going to see the doctor, Nikki relents and she goes and gets checked out. And it’s a good thing that she does. Melody Thomas Scott teased in an interview that things are bad. So Nikki gets a life or death diagnosis and she has to act really fast. So while Victor’s gone, that’s when she’s diagnosed. She finds out this medical crisis has to be addressed ASAP.
Nikki’s got to make major decisions about her health really fast, and she’s not sure if she wants to tell Victor about her health crisis. That’s because Nikki doesn’t want Victor coming back to her out of guilt or obligation. And at this point, Nikki thinks their marriage is irretrievably broken. And reportedly, this diagnosis leads Nikki into some risky behavior.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: The Shadow Room Opens
Also, despite Sienna Bell being creeped out that Noah Newman built a replica of the LA Shadow Room, you know, he’s pushing forward. He put it up right there in Genoa City. And I’m sure it’s because YNR spent the money on the set and they didn’t want to just scrap it.
So Noah is going to host an opening night and Nick and Sharon Case are very supportive of Noah’s effort. They think it’s going to be great. So next week, Young and the Restless spoilers have Sharon toasting to Noah’s success at the Genoa City Shadow Room. Holden and Claire are also on hand. And it looks like Holden’s mom, Stephanie Simmons, is there. I expect we’ll see Audra Charles. She won’t want to miss Audra’s big night, Nick, other Newmans.

Malcolm Returns to Young and the Restless
Also, at the end of this week on YNR, Lily discusses Malcolm’s recovery with Cain. Everything’s going great and Lily says it’s a dream come true. And as we know, if not for Cain donating bone marrow, Malcolm’s health might be in dire shape right about now. He probably would be dying on his deathbed if he hadn’t gotten this treatment.
So, what’s frustrating is Cain donated and then Malcolm’s transplant procedure all happened offscreen. We heard about it third-hand from people going to see him at the hospital. But finally, Malcolm Winters (Shamar Moore) is back to Young and the Restless next week. Up at the Overlook Cafe, Stephanie and Holden and Claire are hanging out. And out of nowhere, Malcolm walks up on them asking, “Could I get some of that?” And Holden looks stunned. Claire looks pleased. And Stephanie gives Malcolm a great big hug.
Diane Located and the Crossover
Also, early next week, look for resolution on the Where is Diane Jenkins storyline. We should see her located maybe by Jack’s private eye early in the week because by the middle of the week, Diane is happily reconciled with Jack and they’re over on the Beyond the Gates crossover together, smiling and happy with Kyle as a family attending the big fundraiser in DC. Devon is also there to talk business with Anita Dupree, who’s an artist that has recorded for his label. And they created some backstory making Nikki and Anita old friends along with Vernon being old friends with Victor. But Nikki’s back in Genoa City in crisis.
And in a recent interview about the crossover, Eric Braeden discussed Victor’s ongoing hatred of Jack over the shenanigans incident from 2024. And it was kind of interesting. It gave me a new perspective on the way he’s behaving. So, Eric Braeden said that Victor is thoroughly convinced that Nikki and Jack were up to some romantic entanglement in that hotel room.
The rest of the family and Diane and others all see it from the perspective of Jack was saving Nikki’s life, you know, trying to get her to rehab. But it seems that Victor thinks Nikki was drunk and Jack was high on pills. And before he overdosed, Victor thinks that Jack and Nikki were hitting the sheets. So, from that angle, you know, Victor’s hatred makes more sense.

General Hospital: Dante & Elizabeth Are Endgame – Ric Gets Destroyed!
General Hospital sees that starting four months ago, GH began chemistry testing Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). And from the jump, they were a hit with a lot of fans, even though she and Rick Lansing (Jon Lindstrom) were clearly on the road to reconciliation at that point, even though it wasn’t official.
And now that Liz is officially back with Rick, we have seen Dante respectful, but I think also kind of skeptical. Still clearly leaning towards Liz, though, and I suspect Dante and Liz might actually be Endgame.
It’s Belinda from Soap Dirt, and we’re going to talk about why Dante and Liz may soon crush Rick. But first, please click subscribe if you are not already following us.
The Chemistry Test Begins
So from the very first moment that we started getting these dedicated scenes of Elizabeth alone with Dante, it was clear that General Hospital was testing viewer reaction and yeah, a spark was definitely there. And since then, Liz and Dante have shared several important scenes together.
No signs of slowing up either. So prior to February 2026, we really had no opportunity to see Elizabeth interacting much with Dante. You know, he had been busy with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), head over heels in love until her death in October 2024. And after that, he was grieving, parenting their shared kids, and then a year later, they brought Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) out of her coma. And fans assumed Dante and Lulu would rekindle, but they’re really not going there and haven’t since her awakening.
First, because Dante was grieving even though Lulu woke up, still in love with him, but Dante rejected her and they’ve kind of been at odds since then. Lulu’s romance with not Nathan aka Cody Bell bothered Dante a little bit, but then he accepted it because, you know, he realized that he waited too long and Lulu is probably not going to be with him.
Meanwhile, Rick Lansing came back to Port Charles not long before Lulu came out of her coma and Rick has been all about Liz since his return. But she didn’t want Rick because of his sketchy past. So he took up with Ava Jerome (Maura West), but then their romance ended and he had that kidnapping ordeal at the hands of Ava and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Christine and that profoundly changed him and both Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Elizabeth gave Rick another chance.
GH Keeps Putting Them Together
So with Liz and Rick back together, doesn’t seem like there’s room for Dante, right? However, General Hospital keeps putting Liz and Dante into scenes together and that means they’re still considering pairing them. And we have had leaks about Rick possibly getting sick. And there’s also the chance he could just backslide and go dark, particularly once Jason Morgan (Roger Howarth) is back because Rick and Jason hate each other and it’s a whole rivalry over Sonny’s attention. So, we’re going to dig into why Dante and Liz are a solid pairing and might actually be endgame despite Rick being back in her life right now.
Strong Chemistry Between Dante and Liz
So, just right off the bat, there is that really good chemistry between Liz and Dante. They passed the General Hospital chemistry test, I think, with flying colors. Fans started talking about them from those very first scenes in February of this year. Plus, Liz is really the first woman that we’ve seen Dante sparking with since Sam died. And yes, he was beyond grateful when Lulu woke up from her four-year coma, and he will always love her. But Dante and Lulu remain broken and they’re just not viable as a romantic pair. At least not now. But with Liz, it seems like Dante is starting to feel something. It’s just a little spark now, but it could build to a lot more.
So, another reason General Hospital may want Liz and Dante as an endgame couple is because there’s this fan base that’s growing by the day. And super couples draw viewers and they bring ratings. We all know it. Plus, Elizabeth alone, just as a character, has a very passionate fan following and people are thrilled that she’s finally got a storyline. And by the way, Dante and Liz even have a smoosh name. If you haven’t seen it on soap social media, it is Elante, and I kind of love it. Hopefully, GH will give fans what they want. And they seem to really want Liz with Dante. And many think that Rick is going to mess up and lose Liz anyway. So, there’s that.
Similar Life Experiences
Also, Dante and Elizabeth are both decent people who want to do the right thing and they are generally moral. Now, obviously, neither Dante nor Liz are perfect. They’ve both made their fair share of mistakes. Liz really messed up with the Jake Do thing back in the day. Remember, she figured out that Jake was really Jason Morgan back then, but she didn’t tell anybody because she wanted to keep him for herself. So, she lied. But then, of course, the truth came out and he wound up with Sam. And then it came out he was really Drew because they invented a secret twin.
As for Dante, remember he went undercover in the WSB trying to bring down some criminal who had almost killed Lulu back in the day. And Dante wound up turned into a brainwashed killer. And he had that awful PTSD for a while and it tore his whole family apart and made life really hard on Lulu. But now both Dante and Elizabeth are solid citizens. They’re good parents and they’re decent people and they’ve been through a lot of similar things. So Dante and Liz can really understand each other both past and present. And their similar life stories on various touchstones are part of why Dante, I think, keeps going to Liz for advice because she gets him. She doesn’t judge him.

The Kids Connection
Another reason Liz and Dante have endgame potential is because of their kids. Liz is a good mom to her own boys and she also cares about Rocco (Robert Adamson). She’s helped him out a lot. And Liz even got hurt recently trying to stop Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) from taking Rocco and running off, even though Britt got the best of her. And I mean, Rocco wasn’t really taken. He wanted to go. Plus, Liz was honest with Dante about Rocco’s suspicions and that she thought he shot Cullum. And at the same time, Lulu wasn’t honest with him.
And Dante’s been a good stepdad to Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski). He was there for Sam and Drew’s daughter. So Dante obviously would be good to Liz’s boys. I think both Dante and Liz could be great stepparents to each other’s kids. And also Elizabeth knows what it’s like to grieve a soulmate.
So Liz will be understanding about Dante always, you know, loving and grieving Sam. She has already been supportive of Dante when it comes to Sam. Not only did Dante and Liz both lose loved ones, but they lost them to tragic violence. Her husband, Franco (Roger Howarth), was murdered by Peter August, and his fiancée, Sam, was murdered by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) after she donated some of her liver to save Lulu. So, Elizabeth totally understands these complicated feelings that Dante has.
What About Rick?
As for Rick, our leaker said he may get sick. They mentioned some kind of blood disease or blood cancer and that it might be life or death, but not necessarily that he would die. Even if he’s fine, that doesn’t mean he and Elizabeth will last because, let’s face it, Rick usually screws up all of his relationships. Plus, a lot of fans would actually like to see him back with Alexis. They love their snarky vibe. I could really see Dante and Liz as Endgame and in the end Rick just winding up absolutely crushed.

Teacher Arrested for Having Sex With Teen Claimed She Loved Him
A former high school teacher in Georgia has been arrested after she allegedly had sex with a teenage boy who she claimed she “loved,” and she even begged him to run away with her to Mexico.
Amanda Katz, who worked as a teacher before becoming an administrator at Roswell High School, was arrested on Tuesday, June 2, and was charged with improper sexual contact with the boy.
Katz, 55, was arrested after the victim told investigators that he had unprotected sex several times with the educator, according to an affidavit viewed by the New York Post. He claimed that they were mostly intimate at her home and in the backseat of her Jaguar car.
The most recent time Katz and the boy had sex was when she invited him and his family on vacation over Valentine’s Day. During the trip, the boy’s mom found several disturbing texts that confirmed that her son was intimate with Katz.
The family then fled the vacation and Katz returned to work in a “manic” state. She reportedly told her coworkers that she was “distraught” that “she could no longer see her ‘boyfriend’ because his mother doesn’t like her,” per the affidavit.
“While expressing this, it ultimately came out that the male Amanda was discussing was [the] juvenile,” police wrote in the affidavit.
Amid the investigation, police found that Katz and the boy exchanged 19,585 texts between Christmas and Valentine’s Day. Police said that the messages made it clear that Katz was smitten with the victim.
“As much as I loved falling asleep next to you and you growling, I want you … I am not even sure we could hide it,” she allegedly wrote in one text message, which was included in the affidavit. “I am crazy about you …. I have done a lot of stupid things. A lot. But this is top level.”
She also told the boy that the sex was “fun” in another message and said that she would “walk away from everything” to be with him. “The easiest thing would be to leave Roswell,” she added.
Katz also allegedly texted the boy after his mom learned about their relationship, telling him, “I loved you. And this is the most f***** up and scary thing that has ever happened to me.”
“You f******* broke my heart … This is probably the worst thing anyone has ever done to me. You abandoned me. You did, not your mom,” she allegedly continued.
The boy claimed to investigators that Katz was so invested in their relationship that she “wanted to go further in their relationship, move in together, and commit to each other.”
“[Katz] had told him that she wanted to move to Mexico with him, but he did not want to do that, nor did he understand why she would want to go there,” he claimed, per the affidavit.
Katz was put on leave during the initial investigation into the boy’s claims and she officially resigned on April 30.
She was released from custody on Thursday, June 4, after posting a 25,000 bond, Us Weekly can confirm.
It is not currently clear if Katz had entered a plea or retained legal counsel following her arrest. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to Us’ request for comment regarding the case.

Anthony Head’s Co-Stars Share Emotional Tributes After His Death
Hollywood is mourning the loss of Anthony Head. Following news that the beloved “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Ted Lasso” actor died at age 72, an outpouring of tributes quickly flooded social media, with former co-stars and friends reflecting on the impact he had both on and off screen.
Anthony Head’s death comes just six months after the loss of his longtime partner, animal therapist and animal rights advocate Sarah Fisher, who died of thyroid cancer at age 61.

Among the first to publicly react was Head’s former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” co-star David Boreanaz, who played vampire-turned-hero Angel on the iconic supernatural series.
Boreanaz shared a photo of Head on social media and paid tribute to his late castmate with a heartfelt message. “RIP, he was so kind and generous of a soul,” the actor wrote.
Head famously portrayed Rupert Giles, the beloved librarian and mentor to Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Buffy Summers, during the show’s seven-season run from 1997 to 2003. The role helped cement Head as a fan favorite in the United States after first finding fame in the United Kingdom.
More ‘Buffy’ Stars Honor Anthony Head

Additional “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” cast members also shared emotional tributes to Head, remembering him not only as a talented actor but as a deeply kind presence behind the scenes. James Marsters, who portrayed fan-favorite vampire Spike, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram while reflecting on Head’s lasting impact.
“There’s a hole in the World. Anthony Head has passed on from us,” Marsters wrote. “He was an unflaggingly kind and steady presence on the set of ‘Buffy,’ and the best actor in the cast. He was the best of us.”
The actor went on to reflect on the lessons he learned from Head during their years working together. “I was lucky to have known, and learned from him,” Marsters continued. “He left the world a better place for his presence. Thank you Tony for all you gave.”
Meanwhile, Emma Caulfield, who portrayed fan-favorite demon-turned-human Anya Jenkins, shared a deeply personal memory alongside a photo of the late actor. “This was taken on the London Underground in 2011. I went to visit my friend Tony on the set of ‘The Iron Lady,’” Caulfield wrote. “We had lunch, hit up a record store, had dinner and drinks and laughed until our sides hurt. It was a perfect day.”
She continued, “There were many of these moments with this amazing human who I was lucky enough to call my friend for 27 years. He was kind and wise and a guide in troubled times. You were so loved. Impossible to caption. You are so missed. rest in peace with your beautiful Sarah-Emma.”
Matt Lucas Reflects On Working With Anthony Head

Actor and comedian Matt Lucas also honored Head, remembering the late actor’s warmth and generosity during their time working together on “Little Britain.” “I am very sad indeed to learn of the passing of Tony Head,” Lucas wrote. “When we were casting ‘Little Britain,’ we were looking for a ‘Tony Head-type,’ because we never imagined for a moment that the man himself would be interested, but he was. Lucky us.”
Lucas went on to praise Head’s character behind the scenes. “He was unfailingly brilliant, and always so kind and warm,” he added. “My heart goes out to Daisy and Emily.”
Head portrayed the Prime Minister in Little Britain, starring opposite David Walliams’ hopelessly devoted assistant Sebastian.
Brett Goldstein Shares Emotional Tribute To ‘Ted Lasso’ Villain

Head’s “Ted Lasso” co-star Brett Goldstein also paid tribute to the actor, reflecting on the contrast between Head’s villainous on-screen persona and his real-life personality. Goldstein, who played fan-favorite Roy Kent on the Apple TV+ hit, praised Head for bringing complexity to the role of Rupert Mannion.
“Anthony Head was a brilliant actor who played the worst person in the world, which was an incredible skill because he was the best person,” Goldstein wrote. “Infinitely charming and kind and fun and a joy,” he continued. “He will be sorely missed. Love to his family.”
Head most recently appeared in “Ted Lasso” as the manipulative Rupert Mannion, the former owner of AFC Richmond and ex-husband to Hannah Waddingham’s Rebecca Welton.
Anthony Head Died Peacefully At 72

Head died “peacefully of complications due to pneumonia,” according to a statement shared Friday by his daughters, actresses Emily Head and Daisy Head. “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our extraordinary father, Anthony Head,” the sisters said.
The emotional statement continued, “We know how dearly he will be missed by friends, colleagues, and fans of the shows he was in. He loved his job very much, and he always considered himself incredibly lucky to have been able to work alongside such exceptionally talented people, in such wonderful productions, across a career that spanned several decades.”
The family also requested privacy as they navigate the heartbreaking loss. Head’s death arrives during an already devastating chapter for the family, following the December death of Sarah Fisher, with whom he shared daughters Emily and Daisy.

Megan Thee Stallion Responds To $1.2M Lawsuit From Stylist
Roommates, Megan Thee Stallion has been hit with a $1.2 million lawsuit from Six K and Eric Archibald over alleged unpaid wardrobe services. The complaint landed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, and Archibald says Meg hired him for multiple events but never paid him. Now Meg is speaking out and addressing the allegations.

Details On Wardrobe Stylist’s Lawsuit Against Megan Thee Stallion
PEOPLE reports that Megan Thee Stallion contacted Six K to bring in Eric Archibald for wardrobe services. However, Archibald and Six K say Megan never paid for multiple events, which they claim ran from Jan. 8, 2024 through August 2025. Six K and Archibald also say they submitted invoices tied to each related Stallion entry from January 25, 2025 to January 8, 2026. They claim each invoice came with a deal memo that the related Stallion entry acknowledged via email, according to the document.
One invoice submitted as evidence shows Megan and her entities allegedly owe Six K $1,243,501.98 for services across several events. Six K and Archibald also included a sample deal memo as part of their evidence. The document breaks down a July 8, 2025 invoice for styling services for the Pete & Thomas Foundation Inaugural Gala in New York City, which Megan attended on July 16, 2025. The memo toals $53,800 and reportedly covers prep days, assistants and three gowns. Archibald and Six K also claim that the lack of payment has affected them personally. They allege a portion of the money owed covers vendors. Now, the two are demanding an immediate payment for outstanding services.
“Despite the fact that Six K has made numerous and unsuccessful attempts to resolve payment over the course of the last two years, there is still no imminent direction towards settlement between the parties,” the complaint alleges.
Meg Reacts To Lawsuit For Unpaid Fees
Megan Thee Stallion isn’t holding back either. She responded to the claims from Six K and Eric Archibald in a statement shared with PEOPLE. The rapper said her finance team ran a full audit of the expenses and invoices, but they couldn’t verify the addresses. She said that alone raised concerns about the legitimacy of the charges, which she says her team tried to resolve privately with Eric’s team.
“My finance team conducted a comprehensive audit of Eric Archibald’s wardrobe expenses and uncovered fraudulent invoices, unsupported charges, and styling shipments tied to addresses that could not be verified. Those findings raised serious concerns about the legitimacy of expenses that we repeatedly tried to resolve privately with Eric’s team. Rather than address the issues from the audit, Eric and his team chose to file a lawsuit. The facts are on our side and I won’t be coerced into paying charges that can’t be substantiated.”

Bachelor’s Madi Prewett Finds It ‘Easy to Submit’ to Husband
Madison “Madi” Prewett preaches submission in her marriage to husband Grant Troutt.
“I say often, like, when you love God the most, then you can love your spouse the best,” Prewett, 30, said on the Tuesday, June 2, episode of Jennie Allen’s eponymous podcast. “It’s so easy to follow him because of how he follows Jesus.”
She continued, “I am a strong personality, but it’s so easy to submit to him because of his submission to Christ, and so, I just trust the spirit on the inside of him and we just have a respect for each other and a seeking of the Lord ourselves that it’s like constantly like, ‘Hey, what do you feel like God’s laying on your heart?’”
The Bachelor Nation alum and Troutt, 30, have been together since 2021, getting married the next year after a whirlwind engagement. Upon their nuptials, Prewett has been vocal about supporting her spouse.
“I learned a lot about being a submissive wife, [which] was a challenge for me at first,” she said on a December 2025 episode of her “Stay True” podcast. “Now, it’s, like, my favorite thing. I love talking about submission.”
Prewett quickly clarified her comments after sparking online backlash.

“When you [often] hear that word, you think of it meaning that if you’re a woman, that it means oppression and that you have no voice and you are silenced and you are controlled,” she explained on a follow-up podcast episode. “When you hear that word, I think it can strike a lot of different feelings. That is in no way of how I meant it of what the Bible is saying nor in how we live. Our marriage dynamic is not like that in any way.”
She continued, “It’s not exercising this dominant power and authority … over someone. It doesn’t mean that the wife is weak or passive or has no voice or is not equal with the husband. That’s not at all what submission means. Nor is it what we believe submission means when it’s talking about that in the Bible.”
According to Prewett, Troutt is “the spiritual leader” of their home.
“When I think about it, Grant is the provider and protector of the home,” she explained at the time. “I get to come under his care in a way that’s not like, ‘Oh, I have to,’ but in a way where I feel safe. … For me, there’s this respect and this honoring that I give Grant, not because I have to, because it’s the way in which God calls us to and in the way that I truly have found to feel the freest and the most content in our marriage.”
Prewett and Troutt expanded their family in January 2025 when they welcomed daughter Hosanna, which further impacted their relationship.
“My marriage looks different. I mean, so much changed at one time and that was really overwhelming,” she told Allen, 49, during Tuesday’s podcast appearance. “Something that grew so much for me, and Grant can testify to this, was [that] I didn’t get those long times in the word like I used to, but what I started doing was memorizing chunks of scripture because I had my Bible or my phone by me while I was breast-feeding … that I was able to just like sit there and meditate on scripture.”

Kelsea Ballerini Is ‘Reconnecting’ With Her ‘Independence’
Kelsea Ballerini isn’t afraid of reinventing herself — both on stage and off — and her current chapter in New York City is just the latest example.
“I’ve always wanted to have a little New York moment,” Ballerini, 32, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Amplify Your Ambitions Singing Concert & Competition, presented by SoFi, in Nashville on Thursday, June 4, while kicking off the 2026 CMA Fest. “I’ve always romanticized that, and I never knew if music would bring me up there or some part of my job, but … after putting out [my album] Patterns and then the Mount Pleasant EP, I was like, ‘OK, I’m gonna just step away for a second. I need a shift.’”
Ballerini added that she was ready to have her “Carrie Bradshaw moment” — and city life is living up to her wildest expectations.
“I have a stoop!” she gushed. “I sit out on it every night. Glass of wine, and I’m just people watching with my little podcast. It’s so nice.”
Ballerini noted that her time in NYC will only end up being a “little chapter,” but it’s already “been really fun.” She’s also learned a few valuable lessons since settling in.
“I think it’s reminding me to stay really open in life, that you never know when you can make a new friend, and you never know when you can reconnect to your independence, and what that can look like in different seasons,” she told Us. “And I think I’m still on my journey to find the best dirty martini in the city, so I have two months left to find it.”

For Ballerini, the move from Nashville marked a special milestone.
“I’ve been in Nashville since I was 15, and so all my friends are here, my family is here in Knoxville,” she said, “so this is the first time that I’ve kind of done something truly on my own, and it feels exciting.”
Her inner circle, of course, includes other women taking the country music scene by storm. When asked which fellow artist will always be there for her no matter what, Ballerini named Carly Pearce.
“I think there’s such [a] beautiful camaraderie between all the women [in country], there really is, and I can say that genuinely,” she explained. “But Carly and I are sweatpants friends, like, we kick it, you know?”
Last month, fans saw rising star Ella Langley thank Ballerini on stage at the 2026 ACM Awards while accepting her Female Artist of the Year trophy. Looking back at her own career, Ballerini opened up about the importance of paying it forward to other artists.
“I think in every stage of your career — in every career, but I can speak to mine — it is so important to ask questions and find mentors and people that just can come alongside you and grab onto you and hold you up and push you forward,” she told Us on Thursday. “For me, I remember … God, this was, like, 12 years ago now. ‘Love Me Like You Mean It,’ my first single was not even top 40 yet, and Taylor Swift tweeted about it, and it changed my life.”
Ballerini continued, “Since then, Faith Hill has become such a warm voice to me, and Wynonna [Judd] has let me truly sit on her couch, and be like, ‘What am I doing with my life?’ And Karen Fairchild, and Alison Krauss, and Trisha Yearwood. They have carved such a path in this industry, and to be able to have them to look forward to really excites me to hopefully do the same.”
As for her own next steps, Ballerini teased that she’s “lucky enough to be a part of quite a few collaborations” in “a couple different genres” that she’s “really excited about.”
Like always, fans can expect to hear Ballerini share her vulnerable side through her lyrics — but maybe less so online following her split from ex Chase Stokes.
“I think in music it’s the safe place to have that forum to say all the things that are worth celebrating, and some of the things that you’re like, ‘Oh gosh, this is so embarrassing,’ or whatever it is,” she told Us. “As I’m getting older, I’m learning that I just want to keep it in my music now, and the rest of my life I just get to, like, hide out in NY.”
Ballerini was back in Nashville on Thursday as SoFi hosted the live finale of its Amplify Your Ambitions Contest at Analog at Hutton Hotel. The nationwide competition — created in partnership with Ballerini and the Country Music Association — spotlights emerging artists and helps address the financial barriers that can stand in the way of building a career in music.
After performing in front of Ballerini and other judges, Karen Hardy was named the winner, earning a grand prize of $200,000. Runners-up Shantania and The Kentucky Gentleman were each awarded $50,000.
Ahead of the contest, Ballerini gushed all about her partnership with SoFi.
“What’s really incredible about this Amplify Your Ambitions [contest is] we have narrowed over 500 submissions down to three artists, or three acts, and they’re all incredible. I think about 12 [or] 13 years ago when I was waiting for that first break, and you’re investing so heavily in yourself, especially financially. It takes a lot. The winner’s gonna get $200,000 and the two other artists are gonna get 50,000 and that is life-changing money to invest into yourself and your life and your career. It’s one of the reasons that I really do love partnering with SoFi. They are always helping their members try to move forward and invest back into themselves.”

Unrated, Pitch Black Comedy Uses Saw Logic To Win An SUV
By Robert Scucci
| Published

In the Saw movies, a very simple formula is followed: a group of people wake up in captivity and have to complete a series of sadistic games in order to be let out alive. Of course, I’m grossly oversimplifying the premise, but that’s all I really need to know so I can compare the horror franchise to the 2021 Canadian comedy, Stanleyville.
There is one important distinction that completely separates Stanleyville from the Saw movies, however: everybody participates in the games voluntarily, and they’re doing it to win an SUV. We get five people, all of whom want to win a new SUV, showing up to play a series of bizarre games that make no sense at first, but become downright horrifying once more context is established.

It’s worth noting that Stanleyville is not a horror movie. It’s a straight-up comedy, one that thrives on each character’s quirks and idiosyncrasies. Every single person here, sans our protagonist, is absolutely insufferable, and if I’m being honest, it’s hard to like our main character too. But you eventually warm up to her. Kind of.
Jigsaw Is A Much More Intimidating Name Than Homunculus
When we’re first introduced to Maria Barbizan (Suzanne Wuest), it’s hard to size her up. A hawk flies into her office building’s window and dies in front of her, prompting her to leave work, abandon her family, throw out her money and cell phone, and take a trip to the airport with no real plan in mind. She’s approached by a man calling himself Homunculus (Julian Richings), who offers her a spot in his competition, giving her the date and time she needs to show up.

Upon arrival, Maria is acquainted with arrogant trust-fund baby Andrew Frisbee Jr. (Christian Serritiello), exercise and supplement addict Bofill Pancreas (George Tchortov), flamboyant eccentric Manny Jumpcannon (Adam Brown), and Felicie Arkady (Cara Ricketts), who is so in it to win it that you don’t want to get on her bad side. Or her good side, for that matter. Just stay away from Felicie. That’s my advice.
Each round of the “competition” escalates from blowing up balloons or creating a fully functional telecommunications device in less than 14 hours to writing a national anthem for the entire world or cutting off somebody’s earlobe.

Maria, who’s not really interested in the first-place prize but instead searching for a deeper purpose in her life, successfully creates a communications device using a conch shell, from which a disembodied voice tells her how to proceed. As the competition moves forward, however, some of the advice comes across as equal parts hostile and cryptic.
Set ‘Em Up, Knock ‘Em Down
As much as I wanted to love Stanleyville for its characterization and oppressively sparse setting, I still felt like something was missing. The ending is ambiguous, leaving the whole thing open to interpretation, but even those interpretations leave a lot to be desired. Consumerism is wrecking us. You can’t self-actualize if you’re trapped in the rat race. Blah, blah, blah. These are all great messages to consider, but I felt robbed of a meaningful payoff because it just… kind of ends.

I truly enjoyed spending time with every single character because they’re all so unhinged in their own charming way, but part of me wishes we had more time to explore their relationships with each other throughout the competition. For what it’s worth, every character brings their A-game, and you don’t necessarily need a satisfying payoff to enjoy spending time with them under the oddest circumstances.

As of this writing, Stanleyville is streaming for free on Tubi.
