Off Campus Easter Eggs Explained: Characters, Stories, More
Prime Video’s Off Campus premiered in May 2026, and Briar U devotees haven’t stopped pausing, screenshotting and dissecting every frame since.
Off Campus, adapted from Elle Kennedy’s bestselling hockey romance series, follows a group of collegiate athletes balancing life on the rink with their efforts finding love on the campus quad. In season 1, showrunner Louisa Levy loaded all eight episodes with sneaky nods to the beloved book series with a few twists no one saw coming.
Consider this your ultimate cheat sheet to every blink-and-you’ll-miss-it hint:
Tucker’s Fruit Gag Foreshadows Future Season
One of the most-discussed Easter eggs involves Jalen Thomas Brooks‘ character, John Tucker, who spends season 1 pledging Dean (Stephen Kalyn) and Beau Maxwell’s (Khobe Clarke) fraternity. Part of his hazing requires him to care for a piece of fruit — starting with a grape, which is later swapped for a strawberry, banana and watermelon as the season progresses.
Fans quickly connected the gag to The Goal, Tucker’s book in Kennedy’s series, in which his eventual love interest Sabrina James discovers she’s pregnant after a hookup with Tucker. Pregnancies are typically measured weekly by fruit size.
“Apparently someone said Tucker holding a fruit in season 1 is a foreshadow for his season since babies are usually measured by fruit when they’re in the womb,” one fan tweeted in May 2026.
Tucker and Logan’s ‘Dynamic Duos’ Costumes

At Dean and Beau’s joint birthday party, Tucker dresses as a bumblebee and Logan (Antonio Cipriano) dresses as a hawk — a reference to the “birds and the bees” and Tucker and Sabrina’s future child.
“I’m a bumblebee, and then Logan’s a hawk or a bird,” Brooks told Deadline in May 2026. “[It is a] whole play on words was the birds and the bees, which is kind of correlated to both John Logan and John Tucker’s stories, in a sense. Specifically John Tucker’s. There’s a lot of foreshadowing going on in that episode.”
Brooks also teased Tucker’s future to Us Weekly: “You’re gonna see a lot of Tucker becoming this guy that he’s known to be in the books and everything. I’m excited for audiences to see Tucker, [who is] supposed to creep up on people, you know, and have a little bit of romance.”
Beau Maxwell’s Role Expanded
Clarke’s portrayal of Beau Maxwell — a Briar University football player and friend of the hockey team — has fans emotionally bracing for his onscreen fate. In Kennedy’s novels, Beau dies in a car crash during Sabrina and Tucker’s story, and viewers are already dreading the character’s expected exit.
“I mean, in season 1, we only get, I think, a little taste of Beau, but he does [fill] the screen a little,” Kennedy told Us. “I think that Khobe, he’s such a great actor and he’s the sweetest guy. He had a lot of the little comedic bits in the season.”
According to Kennedy, fans will “fall in love” with Clarke’s Beau before being “eventually devastated.”
Hunter Davenport’s Debut Delivers Major Twist
The season 1 finale introduced Hunter Davenport, played by Charlie Evans, in a major departure from the books. On the page, Hunter doesn’t appear until Dean’s book, The Score, before leading his own book, The Play — though he wasn’t linked to Allie (Mika Abdalla) in either.
The final scene showed Dean arguing with Hunter, with hints the conflict involves Dean’s sister Summer, who previously dated Hunter in high school
“[Hunter’s arrival is] a launching point to hopefully explore some of Dean’s backstory in season 2,” the showrunner told Swooon in May 2026. “But it really was an opportunity to put a little bit of a twist in their story line and prolong it just a little bit, so that we have lots of room to play with them in future seasons. And we also wanted to nod to the book fans that we might have some other characters that you might not expect showing up in fun ways.”
Louisa Levy and Elle Kennedy Explain Adaptation Approach
Levy exclusively told Us Weekly in May 2026 the team prioritized the series’ emotional core over a literal translation.
“We have a lot of stories told in different ways. We have eight episodes instead of the whole book. So we really started with the things that were super nonnegotiable — that without those things it wouldn’t be Off Campus,” the show creator said. “From there, we added as many of the book moments as we could. We dropped them in like Easter eggs.”
Kennedy, who consulted on scripts but didn’t have final creative control, told Us in a separate interview that she was prepared for changes from her source material.
“I went into this knowing they’re going to have to change certain things,” Kennedy said. “Every adaptation has that — especially because the book is written in first person so you’re getting their thoughts a lot. They have to find different ways to show it.”
Season 2 has already been renewed, with production beginning June 2026.

Sarah Jessica Parker Loves Romantic Camisoles Like This Luxe $30 Style

Romance is a state of mind, if you ask stars like Sarah Jessica Parker. The star, best known for portraying Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, just stepped out in a lace-trimmed camisole—a style that might seem simple, but can instantly elevate your outfits this summer.
Parker stepped out in a lace-trimmed white camisole while out in New York City for Primark’s grand opening. Her low-cut version was worn beneath an oversized gray suit, which was accessorized with open-toed white sandals and a silky polka-dotted scarf. A similar style we found also features a classic camisole silhouette, complete with additional details that could make it your new go-to base layer this season.

Hailing from Scoop’s fashion-forward collection with The Devil Wears Prada 2, our affordable pick includes the camisole’s signature thin material and spaghetti straps. Compared to Parker’s, however, it features a silky texture and additional lace across the hem and bodice that creates an elegant statement piece. With the style available in tonal colorways of light blue, light yellow and a spotted navy, it’s also ideal to wear with or without a suit jacket.
Parker’s choice to pair her camisole top with matching open-toed heels and a suit combined both tailored and glamorous details. Similarly, we’d style our budget-friendly camisole under a blazer or structured jacket for the office. However, the piece would look equally as chic on its own, especially on hotter days. In fact, we can easily picture our cami worn with high-waisted jeans and slides or clogs for a casual daytime look, or with a slip-style skirt and heeled sandals on a date night or evening out.
Clearly, the elegant piece has also become a hit with shoppers. One customer praised the style’s fabric and “true to size” fit, noting it’s both “very flattering” and “comfortable.” Another shopper deemed the top as “beautifully constructed” and a “great way to dress up jeans, or suit pants,” which we’re noting for future reference.
The lace-trimmed style we discovered is both elegant and flirty, while its thicker fabric makes it easy to wear as a top by itself compared to your typical casual camisole. Plus, this camisole’s layering abilities allow it to seamlessly transition from work to any out-of-office occasion. Talk about a hero piece! With warmer days on the horizon, it seems now is the perfect time to add a camisole top to your summer wardrobe — and channel Parker’s romantic style in the process.

Ex-Disney Star Rips Sydney Sweeney’s ‘Vile’ ‘Euphoria’ Scene
Former Disney Channel star turned adult film actress Maitland Ward is not holding back when it comes to Sydney Sweeney’s controversial “Euphoria” storyline. Ward, best known for playing Rachel McGuire on “Boy Meets World,” is speaking out against the HBO drama’s depiction of OnlyFans in season three, specifically taking issue with Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, and the increasingly explicit content she creates on-screen.

During a recent interview with TMZ, Ward criticized several of Cassie’s OnlyFans moments, including scenes showing the character posing with pigtails and a pacifier while wearing sheer clothing.
“There’s all sorts of stuff that you can’t do,” Ward said. “The whole child-baby thing is so disgusting … You just can’t go into that whole underage thing like that. I mean, you can do it to an extent if it’s very, very playful, like, you’re an adult being childlike or something. But just the way it was handled was so gross, and it’s just disgusting and vile.”
According to Ward, the scenes cross a line when it comes to content standards associated with platforms like OnlyFans. She explained to TMZ that “you don’t want pedophilia anywhere near pornography,” while adding that creators can face removal from the platform if they violate those rules.
Ward Says ‘Euphoria’ Is Mocking OnlyFans Creators

Ward also accused the show of turning sex work into a joke rather than offering a realistic portrayal of creators. “It’s saying how weird and creepy they are,” Ward insisted. “There’s so many creators who are really working hard to build their brands every day, and this is really disingenuous.”
In a separate statement to Fox News Digital, the actress doubled down on her criticism. “This show is treating sex work like a circus act, a freak show,” Ward said. “Sydney Sweeney’s portrayal of an OnlyFans creator is setting sex workers real individuals with lives, families, and jobs back by making a mockery not only of what they choose to do with their bodies and lives, but of them as human beings.”
Maitland Ward Says ‘Euphoria’ Reinforces Harmful Stereotypes

Ward specifically called out what she sees as harmful stereotypes being reinforced by the storyline. “And of course, they use the traditional blonde, boobie-bimbo stereotype who will do anything for money and a jolt of fame, including posing as a dog licking a bowl and serving up pedophilia fantasies, as the one who goes into sex work,” she added.
The actress concluded by saying, “This only reinforces the false and harmful stereotypes that sex workers have to fight against every day. It’s completely out of touch.”
Sydney Sweeney’s Cassie Takes A Wild Turn In Season 3

Season three of “Euphoria” has taken Cassie Howard in a dramatically different direction. Sweeney’s character turns to OnlyFans to fund her lavish lifestyle, initially using the platform to pay for her wedding before attempting to stay afloat after learning her new husband, Nate Jacobs (played by Jacob Elordi), is reportedly broke and drowning in debt shortly after their marriage.
Throughout the season, viewers have watched Cassie create increasingly bizarre content, including dressing like a dog and drinking water from a dog bowl, posing in baby-inspired looks, jumping rope in revealing outfits for subscribers, mailing used underwear, and filming intimate content. The storyline has sparked major online debate, with fans split over whether “Euphoria” is pushing boundaries or simply going too far.
Maitland Ward Has Been Vocal About Hollywood’s Treatment Of Young Stars

Ward’s criticism comes as she continues opening up about her own Hollywood experience. The former child actress recently appeared on Investigation Discovery’s “Hollywood Demons,” where she reflected on growing up in the entertainment industry and the pressure placed on young performers. “It was very therapeutic to tell the story at the age that I am now,” Ward previously shared with Fox News Digital.
She also recalled feeling like studios viewed young actors as products. “I think it was such a factory kind of environment. Like you were just a product being sold, and you knew that yourself,” Ward explained. “I mean, I didn’t think anything was wrong at the time with anything that was going on, really.”
Ward, who transitioned into adult films roughly seven years ago, previously said the move surprisingly earned her more respect in Hollywood. “I didn’t get anybody coming out hating me for it or anything,” she said. “I really got a lot of positivity overall.”

Denzel Washington’s Forgotten Sci-Fi Western Is Taking Over the World on Streaming
Released in 2004, Denzel Washington joined forces with a young Dakota Fanning on one of his best movies of this century. Two years after winning his second Academy Award for Training Day, Washington starred in the crime thriller Man on Fire, based on the 1980 novel by A.J. Quinnell, which has recently been turned into a global hit Netflix series. Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, the seven-episode series was an instant hit on the streaming charts, earning an impressive 11 million views in just four days after its premiere.
The success of the series has no doubt turned many back to Washington’s 2004 adaptation and, in turn, many more action-packed entries into his filmography. One such film, which is full of brutal, hand-to-hand combat, is the post-apocalyptic Western thriller, The Book of Eli. Released in 2010, the movie stars Washington alongside Harry Potter favorite Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis, in a script penned by Gary Whitta, who is best known for his work on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Albert and Allen Hughes, better known as The Hughes Brothers, directed the film on a reported $80 million budget.
The Book of Eli fell short of doubling its reported budget, with a global box office haul of $158 million, split between a $94 million domestic haul and a further $64 million from overseas markets. The movie only played in over 2,000 U.S. theaters for four weeks, opening in second place in the domestic box office charts and dropping in revenue by 52% in its second week. Unfortunately for The Book of Eli, it was going head-to-head with the near-$3 billion hit Avatar. At the time of writing, 16 years later, The Book of Eli is one of the ten most-streamed movies on AMC+ in the U.S.
Critics Weren’t Fond of ‘The Book of Eli’
Although the movie is proving popular 16 years on, there was little praise being thrown its way by critics in 2010. On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the film earned a disappointing 45% rating, with critics frustrated by an uneven plot and a script that felt underdeveloped. “This picture is a big waste of time,” one called it, while another declared it a “hot mess,” adding, “the filmmakers just tried to get too deep with something that was not fully developed.”
The Book of Eli is streaming now on AMC+. Stay tuned to Collider for all the latest streaming stories.

Why Tommy Fury Skipped 16-Year-Old Niece’s Wedding
Love Island U.K. star Tommy Fury was seemingly absent when his 16-year-old niece, Venezuela Fury, married her fiancé, Noah Price.
Tommy’s partner Molly-Mae Hague — who is pregnant with Baby No.2 — was present and their daughter, Bambi, 3, served as flower girl for Venezuela and Noah’s special day on the Isle Man on Saturday, May 16. However, Tommy was nowhere to be seen in various family photos. (Venezuela’s parents are Tommy’s half-brother, boxing legend Tyson Fury, and Paris Fury.)
There has been speculation that Tommy, 27, missed the family wedding because he is in intense fight training for his boxing match against Eddie Hall at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday, June 13. Tommy’s most recent Instagram post on Sunday, May 9, showcased his training routine, including hitting the speed bag, performing push-ups and pumping iron.
“Ready to GO. 🕺🕺🥊🥊 5 weeks out,” he wrote alongside the training photos.
Us Weekly has reached out to Tommy’s spokesperson for comment.
Tommy’s fight against Hall, 38, is set to take place one day after Hague’s projected due date on June 12. In a recent vlog, Hague assured fans she wasn’t upset over Tommy’s fight being scheduled so close to her due date.
“A lot of questions about, ‘How do you feel about Tommy’s fight,’ and obviously the date of it,” she told viewers in April. “Obviously I knew that you guys were going to be concerned about that and have questions about that, but fear not.”
The Love Island U.K. star went on, “Fear not fair maiden because we’re actually feeling really, really good about it and have a really good plan in place.”
Hague insisted that she was “not worried and I’m actually really, really happy” that Tommy got a fight on the calendar. (Tommy last stepped into the ring on May 9, 2025, when he defeated Kenan Hanjalic by unanimous decision in Budapest, Hungary.)

“Just having a date for something and having a focus and us having something to look forward to in the fight, it’s actually a really, really, really positive thing and he will be here when I get home. He will be able to support me,” she noted.
Meanwhile, Hague documented some special moments for daughter Bambi at Venezuela and Noah’s wedding on Saturday, including showing off the six-tiered, blue wedding cake decorated with blue-and-yellow roses.
Venezuela wore a strapless, lace mermaid gown from designer Ava Rose Hamilton for the ceremony while Bambi was dressed in a blue princess gown to perform her flower duties. Hague wore a black lace jumpsuit.
Venezuela previously confirmed that her now-husband proposed at her 16th birthday party in September 2025.
“Congratulations to @venezuelafuryofficial and @7noahprice on getting engaged,” her mom, Paris, announced via Instagram on September 27, 2025. “Both only young but when you know you know! Still in shock, but very happy for you both.”

Forget ‘School of Rock,’ This Coming-of-Age Music Favorite Is the Perfect Free Streaming Watch
The best coming-of-age movies are about getting out, or about finding the thing that makes you feel everything, making life easier when the going gets tough. This movie is a great example of both, plus it’s got guitars, eyeliner, homemade music videos, school bullies and the massively wholesome belief that all your problems might just go away if only you could form a band. Which means your pain will be accompanied by a banging soundtrack.
Sing Street is streaming for free this month on Fawesome. Written and directed by John Carney, the film is set in 1980s Dublin and follows Conor, a teenager who starts a band to impress a mysterious girl named Raphina. We’ve all been there, surely. What begins as a romantic stunt ends up actually working and becoming more meaningful, giving Conor a creative outlet as his family life falls apart, and his future starts to feel uncertain.
The cast includes Ferdia Walsh-Peelo (Vikings, CODA) as Conor, Lucy Boynton (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Politician) as Raphina, Jack Reynor (Midsommar, The Peripheral) as Brendan, Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders) as Robert, Maria Doyle Kennedy (Orphan Black, Outlander) as Penny, Mark McKenna (Wayne, One of Us Is Lying) as Eamon, Ben Carolan as Darren, and Ian Kenny (Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Journey) as Barry.
Was ‘Sing Street’ a Success?
Oh yes, this is one of the most beloved movies of the 2010s. It was a major critical success and a solid financial success, especially considering it was a small indie musical. Critically, it was adored. It holds a 95% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, with the consensus calling it “a feel-good musical with huge heart and irresistible optimism,” and the reviews praising the cast’s performances and the songs. It was also nominated for Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes. Financially, it did well too. The movie reportedly cost around $4 million to make and grossed about $13.6 million worldwide.
Boynton, while speaking to Collider’s Perri Nemiroff, gushed about the experience of working on the film, saying that the work done by Carney behind the scenes made it one of her best experiences. “[Writer-director John Carney] had created these characters so vividly, and it was semi-autobiographical,” she said. “I think I just turned up willing to be directed, not in a passive way, but in a way that really gave him all the authority and he really pushed back on that and gave all of us complete ownership of our characters, and I had never experienced it to that extent before“

Josh Duhamel and Wife Audra Mari Welcome 2nd Baby Together
Josh Duhamel and his wife, Audra Mari, are celebrating the birth of their new baby girl.
“Rocca de Leon Duhamel our baby girl is here,” the couple announced via a joint Instagram post on Saturday, May 16.
They shared a carousel of baby Rocca’s early milestones, including introducing her to big brother Shepherd. One adorable shot showcased Duhamel, 53, near tears as he cradled his newborn daughter.
Duhamel and Mari’s daughter joins their son, Shepherd, who arrived in January 2024. The actor is also the father of son Axl, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Fergie in August 2013.
Mari announced via Instagram in March that she was pregnant with the couple’s second baby.
“Adding a little girl to our story. We can’t wait to meet you,” she captioned black-and-white maternity photos that highlighted her growing baby bump.
In the comments section, Duhamel responded, “Can’t wait to meet that little cutie 💕 Love you momma.”
Fergie — who was married to Duhamel from 2009 to 2019 — also sent her well-wishes, replying, “Welcome the cuteness! 💖💖.”
Duhamel and Mari confirmed their engagement in January 2022 after two years of dating. That September, the pair tied the knot.
Prior to Shepherd’s birth, Duhamel expressed his excitement about becoming a father again while hinting at his plans to have more kids with Mari.
“I get to do this again and hopefully again after that,” he said on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show in September 2023. “Axl’s going to be a great older brother. Audra’s going to be a great mother, [I’m] very blessed. … I’m jumping back in at this ripe old age. I’m doing it. To me, that’s what it’s about. I’m meant to be a dad.”
In March 2025, Duhamel opened up about parenting a toddler in his 50s. He exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that he was “trying to stay as young and youthful as I can,” not only so he could “work as long as possible” but also “to stay as healthy and useful to chase my 1-year-old.”
Later that year, Duhamel reflected on his experience as a father amid his role as a less-than-stellar dad in the film London Calling.
“It was fun to look at some of the things that I could even do better as a dad,” he exclusively told Us in September 2025. “I work a lot, and I often have a lot of guilt about not being there as often as I could be. So I try to maybe overcompensate or do things to be there often.”
He continued, “But at the same time, you want your kid to look and see [that] this is what you have to do to provide for your family. So on the other hand, you can’t be there all the time because you’ve got to be setting an example. But on the other hand, you might be missing out on life moments that you’d [be there for] if you were a 9 to 5 dad who went to work every day and came home. So it’s a constant struggle in this business. It’s not easy.”
Duhamel went on to rave over his coparenting dynamic with Mari and Fergie, noting, “We all have to work together to make sure that this thing works.”

Kiefer Sutherland Cancels U.S. Leg Of Tour After Arrest Incident
Kiefer Sutherland has canceled the U.S. leg of his ongoing tour due to low ticket sales, while continuing to perform shows in Europe and the U.K.
The actor turned musician said refunds will be issued and hinted at returning to the U.S. in the future.
The decision comes amid recent legal scrutiny tied to an alleged incident between Kiefer Sutherland and a rideshare driver earlier this year, along with renewed attention around his past legal history.
Kiefer Sutherland Cancels U.S. Tour Dates Over Low Ticket Sales

In a post shared on Instagram, the 59-year-old actor and musician said he was “disappointed” by the decision but felt continuing the shows in America wouldn’t be fair to fans or venues if attendance was low.
He added that anyone who had already purchased tickets would be refunded through their original point of sale, and expressed hope to return for future U.S. dates under better circumstances.
The cancellation affects several planned stops across major cities, including Los Angeles, Boston, and Phoenix. However, his final scheduled performance in Las Vegas is still currently listed as going ahead, along with a later appearance at a music festival in Canada.
Sutherland is still completing the European and U.K. legs of his “Love Will Bring You Home” tour, which supports his upcoming fourth studio album, “Grey,” set for release later this month.
The Actor Thanked His European Fans As The Tour Continues

Sutherland recently thanked European audiences online, saying the shows had been a positive experience as the tour continues.
The tour marks his first full run since 2024, as he has been steadily building his music career alongside his acting career.
His recent work has focused more on personal themes, with him describing the new album as a more introspective project shaped by his experiences over the past couple of years.
“In many ways, these songs mark a growth for me personally, as I wrote less about observations and more about personal feelings that I have been navigating in my own life,” he shared, per the Daily Mail.
Kiefer Sutherland Has Gotten Into Legal Troubles Over The Years

Sutherland’s recent tour announcement comes after a period of legal scrutiny earlier in the year, due to an incident involving a rideshare driver in Los Angeles.
Authorities reviewed the case, with further investigation requested before any final decisions on charges.
Sutherland was initially taken into custody in connection with allegations tied to the encounter and released on bail.
Best known for his role as Jack Bauer in “24,” the actor has faced multiple legal issues over several decades, including driving-related incidents and prior arrests.
His history includes incidents dating back to the late 1980s and 1990s, as well as later DUI-related cases in the 2000s that resulted in jail time, probation, and community service requirements.
The Actor Opened Up About Stigma Around His Music Career

Despite past controversies, Sutherland has remained active across both film and music.
Alongside his touring schedule, he continues to work on screen projects, with recent and upcoming films still in development, including a thriller and another production currently in post-production.
He previously reflected on his decision to pursue a music career, admitting he was initially hesitant about stepping into the industry as an established actor.
In an interview with People Magazine, the actor acknowledged the common skepticism toward actors who transition into music, saying he once shared that same reaction himself.
“I had no intention of making an album. I hear about an actor wanting to do music, and my eyes roll back too,” Sutherland said, adding that he was fully aware of the stigma, which contributed to his reluctance for years.
Kiefer Sutherland On His Unexpected Path Into Music And First Album Journey

In his chat with the publication, Sutherland explained that music had actually been part of his life since his teenage years, even though he never initially planned to turn it into a professional path.
According to the actor, his first album, “Down in a Hole,” came together more organically than expected after working with collaborators in the studio.
Sutherland recalled how a recording session with a collaborator named Jude helped shift his perspective.
After laying down a couple of songs early in the process, he was encouraged to consider turning the material into a full album.
“At the end, he said, ‘I really like your songs, and they are clearly yours. You should do them. You should make a record,’” Sutherland shared.
He initially dismissed the idea, joking that it would never happen, but said that after spending more time in the studio, the idea began to feel more realistic and eventually led to the creation of the record.

Staten Island Condo Owner Praises Pete Davidson as a Neighbor
The president of a Staten Island condo building has provided some rare insight into who Pete Davidson is as a neighbor.
“He is a perfect neighbor. He was polite, he was nice to everyone,” Christopher Campbell, building president of the Accolade Condominium at 90 Bay Street Landing, where Davidson lived for years, wrote in a reported “thank you” letter of sorts, according to a Saturday, May 16, report from local media outlet silive.com.
“He knows that people want to talk to him, so he broke the ice,” Campbell continued in the reported letter. “If he’s on the elevator and he doesn’t know the person, he would introduce himself, and people just thought of him as their neighbor.”
Campbell reportedly added, “When he was dating [Kim Kardashian], she would come here… and he thought of his neighbors, and he didn’t want to have an entourage blocking the front entrance, so he would take the side door to be police. He used to bring his celebrity friends, so you never know who you’re going to meet in the building. Miley Cyrus has been here, Kid Cudi, Machine Gun Kelly.”
The building president also reportedly thanked the Saturday Night Live alum for donating an air hockey table to the residents of his former home.

“On behalf of everyone at The Accolade Condominium, we want to extend our heartfelt best wishes as you begin your next chapter,” the reported thank you letter read in part. “It has truly been a pleasure having you as part of our community. You were the perfect neighbor, always friendly, approachable, and respectful to everyone around you. Your presence brought a special energy to our building, and we know many residents will fondly remember their interactions with you.”
The letter reportedly concluded, “We are especially grateful for your generous donation of the air hockey table to the community room. It has already brought so much enjoyment to residents of all ages and will continue to be a lasting reminder of your kindness and thoughtfulness.”
Insight of Davidson’s neighborly tendencies comes just hours after Us Weekly broke the news that the comedian and his partner, Elsie Hewitt, have called it quits five months after welcoming their first baby together, daughter Scottie Rose. (Scottie is named after Davidson’s father, a former firefighter who died while responding to the September 11, 2011, terrorist attacks.)
“They are still sorting things out as it pertains to their split,” a source close to the couple exclusively told Us on Saturday. “They tried to make it work but there were different stressors, including having a baby together as two people who didn’t yet know each other that well. They are both trying to make it work and have made accommodations in their schedules for the baby.”
The SNL alum and model were first romantically linked in March 2025, going on to welcome their daughter in December of that same year.
“The best thing I’ve been telling people is [that Scottie is] the biggest gift,” Davidson exclusively told Us one month after his daughter’s birth. “Nothing else matters as much or intensely, like career, activities, hanging out with people [or] what do people think of me, that sort of s***. I still want to do cool stuff, but it’s like, ‘Well, how long do I have to stay away?’ Or, ‘Is this worth being away?’”

Jennifer Lopez Dragged For ‘Diva’ Behavior During NYC Outing
Jennifer Lopez is facing backlash online after a recent hotel exit left some social media users accusing the superstar of staging a paparazzi moment. The singer and actress was spotted outside a Four Seasons Hotel in New York City on Wednesday, where cameras captured what many believed was a carefully timed entrance for photographers waiting outside.

Video circulating online showed Lopez lingering near the hotel entrance as several guests exited the building before she eventually made her way outside. Once the lobby had cleared, the “Jenny From the Block” singer stepped out, appearing to make a dramatic, runway-style walk toward her waiting vehicle while photographers snapped away.
Lopez briefly waved to fans before hopping inside her SUV and heading off to her next stop. The star was reportedly on her way to a screening event for Netflix’s “Office Romance” at AMC Newport Center in Jersey City.

As clips of Lopez’s now-viral hotel departure continued making the rounds online, even more critics piled on with blunt reactions. Some commenters questioned the singer’s relevance, with one writing, “She would be nothing without autotune. A washed-up has-been who has been reduced to staged paparazzi photo ops because no one gives a crap about her.”
Others admitted they still thought Lopez looked stunning, but couldn’t get past what they viewed as an awkward moment. “Sooooo embarrassing, she looks great of course but it’s just cringeville 2.0,” another person commented. A different user criticized celebrity appearances in general, writing, “She looks ridiculous. Most of these celebrities look stupid in real life. Their looks are embarrassing.”
Meanwhile, another harsh critic added, “Sick, insecure diva with zero talent.” One person summed up their thoughts on the moment more simply, writing, “Yup diva antics!”
Jennifer Lopez Gushes Over Brett Goldstein Amid Growing Buzz

Despite the online chatter surrounding her latest public appearance, Lopez had nothing but glowing things to say about Office Romance co-star Brett Goldstein. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at Netflix’s Upfront event in New York City on May 13, the singer and actress opened up about their connection while filming the upcoming romantic comedy. “We had great chemistry to begin with,” Lopez said. “It just grew as we did the film together.”
Lopez also revealed she was already a fan of the actor long before they worked together. “I was a huge fan of his from him doing Ted Lasso. Roy Kent, that’s one of my favorite characters,” she explained. “I thought he was going to be more like the character, but he was so soft-spoken and sweet and totally different.”
The sweet comments come as rumors continue to swirl that the pair may have “grown close” following production on the Netflix film.
Lopez Says She’s In Her ‘Happy Era’ After Ben Affleck Split

Earlier this year, Lopez opened up about entering a brand-new chapter in her life while promoting her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace. Structured in four acts, the residency reflected not only on Lopez’s decades-long career but also on the personal lessons she has learned along the way.
“I feel like my shows are always an athletic event,” Lopez joked during an interview with ABC News’ Juju Chang that aired on “Good Morning America.” But beyond the spectacle, Lopez said the residency represents something much deeper: what she calls her “happy era.” “I’m in my happy era,” Lopez shared. “I think for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m free. I am on my own. And it feels really good.”
Jennifer Lopez Gets Candid About Life After Ben Affleck

The candid comments came after Lopez’s 2024 split from ex-husband Ben Affleck and marked one of her most personal reflections yet on independence. “I didn’t really know what that felt like since I was in my early 20s,” she continued. “And even before that, you know, I’ve always had a boyfriend. There was always kind of, like, someone in my life and so many other things that I felt like were out of my control.”
Lopez added that she has reached a place where she trusts herself more than ever. “I just am at a point in my life where I really trust myself and have learned to kind of, I guess this sounds funny, appreciate myself a little bit more instead of being so hard on myself all the time and always trying to prove so many things,” she said.
