U2 Announces New Album Featuring Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton‘s final recording before her death at 80 years old is about to be heard by fans, with Irish rock band U2 announcing that the emotional collaboration will appear on the band’s upcoming album. For Bono, however, the track carries a deeply personal weight. the U2 frontman opened up about the emotional song and what makes it difficult for him to hear.
U2 Celebrates 50 Years With ‘Carnaval De Luz’
It has been 50 years since U2 formed in Dublin, and to celebrate the milestone, the band is releasing a new album, “Carnaval de Luz.” The release marks U2’s first new material since 2017’s “Songs of Experience.”
On September 24, the band released the lead single, “Silencio.” Along with the announcement, the U2 also revealed that they collaborated with the late Dolly Parton on the closing track.
Initially, frontman Bono approached Parton for a separate project about Irish folk music, but the singer told him it was “a little too Irish” for her to take on. Instead, she offered her one of her songs and encouraged him to explore what could be done with it.
The result was the closing track on the album titled “Torn,” in which Bono duets with Parton. The singer told Rolling Stone it was recorded in June, just a few months before the country legend’s death on August 25, 2026.

U2 collaborated with Johnny McDaid from Snow Patrol for the lyrics, with McDaid and Bono writing about a mother witnessing her family fracture.
Parton was on board with the direction and approved the song. Producer Garret “Jacknife” Lee said she was “so proud” of how it turned out and absolutely “loved it.”
“When she got ill, she got out of her bed to sing this song. And you can hear that. And I can’t even listen to it now,” Bono told the outelt, adding that The Queen of Country Music “sang her heart out.” “I cannot believe that’s an 80-year-old woman,” he said.
The Country Icon’s Final Public Appearance Was At Her Truck Stop
Parton’s husband of six decades, Carl Dean, died in March 2025. The singer took a break from her career to mourn the loss. She made select appearances in the months following, but toward the end of the year Parton postponed, and eventually canceled, her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency.
Parton also missed some scheduled events, prompting her fans to worry. She updated her fans, acknowledging that she had some health issues was overfatigued, but assured them that she was still working.
Her final public appearance was at the grand opening of her Tennesseee Travel Stop in late June, where she cut the ribbon and made a short speech. Two months later, it was announced that Parton died at 80 years old after a private battle with cancer.
“It’s very moving to have had these intimacies with such a figure. The fact that they’re not there now, in any way you can call back, other than through her songs, is very sobering,” Bono said of Parton.
The Singer’s First Posthumous Song Was Released 2 Weeks After Her Death
On September 9, the cover song “Bound to Ride,” sung by Dolly Parton and the First Ladies of Bluegrass, was released. Although the recording was made in 2022, it’s the first Parton track that came out following her death.
The song, popularized by The Stanley Brothers, will be included in the tribute album to the band titled “Where the Soul Never Dies: Celebrating 80 years of The Stanley Brothers,” which is scheduled for release on October 16.
“She really did over-deliver. We were shocked. We couldn’t have gotten anything better,” Garry West, who owns the label behind the album, said of Parton’s vocals.
Dolly Parton’s Secret Song Will Be Unveiled In 20 Years
Parton left a profound legacy, but she also left fans with a musical surprise. More than a decade ago, the singer buried a time capsule that contains a CD and cassette tape of a new song, “My Place in History,” at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The Dream Box, as it is called, will remain sealed until the singer’s 100th birthday on January 19, 2046. In an interview with Kelly Clarkson in 2022, Parton said, “I want to go dig that up so bad because it’s a really good song.”
Parton’s song with U2 will be availble when the album arrives on November 13.

Law Roach is shedding light on how Zendaya feels about him speaking about her love life.
Appearing on the “Outlaws with TS Madison” podcast this week, the celebrity stylist, 48, shared how Zendaya, 30, reacted after Roach publicly announced the actress had tied the knot with Tom Holland.
“She thought it was funny,” Roach said on the podcast. “I’m still slightly spilling the tea about the wedding. You don’t know if that lady married or not.”
Roach made headlines in March when he referenced Zendaya and Holland, 30, while speaking to Access Hollywood on the Actor Awards red carpet, claiming, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.”
When the reporter asked for clarification as to whether the rumors that Zendaya and Holland had quietly wed following their 2024 engagement, Roach insisted, “It’s very true.”
At the Oscars the same month, Roach was questioned by Extra on the red carpet on whether he wanted to “clarify any comments” he made earlier in the month about Zendaya and Holland being married. “No,” Roach responded, before adding, “I said what I said.”
However, on September 14, Roach backtracked on his earlier comments when asked about Zendaya on the CNN & Variety Red Carpet Live: TV’s Biggest Night pre-show.
“Well, I actually lied, she wasn’t married. They actually haven’t had an official ceremony yet. It’s gonna happen after the Dune press tour,” he said.

During his “Outlaws with TS Madison” podcast appearance, Roach explained why he is making seemingly contradictory statements about Zendaya and Holland’s marriage status.
“Because the thing about it is, stop asking me about somebody who I love’s personal business,” Roach said. “You don’t have the right or the allowance or the agency to ask me questions about that lady’s personal business. So, every time you ask me, I’m going to tell your ass something different.”
Roach also complimented Zendaya, who has been a longtime client and friend of his, for letting him be himself.
“The great thing about her is that she has become one of the biggest movie stars in the world and she never ever tries to make me be something I’m not,” he said. “I go and I cut up and I do things on the carpet or whatever, and she be like, ‘Boy, you crazy.’ She never ever ever ever tries to change me.”

Zendaya and Holland struck up a romance after initially meeting on the set of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. In the hit superhero franchise, they portrayed love interests Michelle Jones Watson and Spider-Man/Peter Parker, respectively.
While there were rumors about a potential romance between the pair over the years, the relationship was confirmed when they were spotted kissing in a car in Los Angeles in July 2021.

There has been a renaissance of animated films in the 21st century, mostly because it has become more common for them to receive their just respect. Animation is a painstaking task that requires meticulous detail and effort; even though it is less common to see laborious 2D work, any form of animation requires a significant number of hours put out by dedicated artists to ensure that everything is poised in the perfect way. Unlike live-action, there is no existing material that can be shot as coverage or used in the background; everything that viewers see on the big screen is something that had to be designed. It shouldn’t come as a shock that, as a result, studios tend to be very exacting in choosing which of their animated projects are worthy of investment, even if some of them end up being massive blockbusters.
There has been a significant change within the industry post-2010 when it comes to the market for animation. Although Pixar was once thought of as being insurmountable, the studio began to face diminishing returns with some films that simply did not work, even if they also have plenty of successes. Dreamworks and Sony Animation had some misses, but they were also willing to take bold chances on riskier films that paid off; there’s also been a growing cult audience for the films of smaller, niche studios like Laika and Aardman, as well as an influx of international titles that receive domestic release. Although the end of this year brings several highly-anticipated titles, including Brad Bird’s Netflix space opera Ray Gunn and Laika’s ambitious top-motion fantasy epic Wildwood, there are certainly a number of options out there for animation fans to watch.

‘Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio’ (2022)
Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio is the definitive version of the classic fairy tale, surpassing even the Disney animated classic from 1940. It makes sense that a story about a mechanical character trying to become human would have such a handcrafted quality to it, and there aren’t many directors out there who use practical effects, makeup, and stop-motion in the same way that Guillermo del Toro does. It helps that he takes a slightly more mature take on the material that acknowledges the darkness of the original text and the political complications that it involved.
Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio is the perfect companion piece to the director’s entire body-of-work, as he has frequently told stories about mistreated outsiders who are labeled as “monsters.” Although there are clear parallels between the story of Pinocchio and that of del Toro’s Frankenstein, the notion of exploring the evils of fascism through the eyes of a child was something that he had developed with Pan’s Labyrinth.

‘The LEGO Movie’ (2014)
The LEGO Movie is perhaps the biggest surprise animation hit of the last 15 years because it wasn’t what anyone had expected. It would have been easy for Warner Bros. to thrust all of its properties into a film that existed only to sell merchandise, but Phil Lord and Chris Miller instead took the LEGO themes of creative ingenuity and leadership, using them to craft a genuinely hilarious satire about the “hero’s journey” and complications of “play.” The LEGO Movie emulates the actual fun involved in creating a LEGO set, but it also shows that following the instructions isn’t the only way to create something that will last.
The LEGO Movie took an interesting twist that involved live-action elements with Will Ferrell, and it ended up making the story far more heartfelt and moving than it would have been otherwise. The inventive way that The LEGO Movie tied in components from various Warner Bros. franchises was also quite inventive, and not the cynical cash grab that it could have been; it most notably debuted Will Arnett as Batman, leading to another highly underrated animated gem with The LEGO Batman Movie.

‘Zootopia’ (2016)
Zootopia has aged gracefully as one of the best films of its year, and showed that Disney animation was capable of making the sort of original stories that Pixar would have done a decade prior. Disney had spent a tremendous amount of time revamping and retooling the princess adventure story into different stories, but Zootopia offered a clever new spin on anthropomorphic animals that did something inventive with the concept for the first time in the 3D era. Although on the surface Zootopia is a fairly straightforward film about tolerance and diversity, it has even more loaded themes about classism, police brutality, political corruption, scapegoating, and gentrification, all within a film that works for kids.
Zootopia is one of the most impressive visual achievements of the last 15 years because of how immersive worldbuilding is, as there was clearly an intention to do more than just create a few gags. Despite the fact that Zootopia confronts some very important issues that have grown even more relevant in the decade since it was released, it also happens to be genuinely hilarious, with more than a few great animal puns.

‘Flow’ (2024)
Flow is one of the most surprising success stories out of any realm of cinema in the 2020s because it was a true passion project for Latvian filmmaker Gints Zilbalodis, who created the ambitious film with the free and open-sourced software Blender. That such a rich and textured film was made so efficiently, despite the enormous amount of money studios often dump into animated films, just shows how significantly the medium has changed and the different opportunities that are present for contemporary filmmakers. The “little movie that could” proved to be a breakout, word-of-mouth success that won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in a surprise victory over bigger commercial hits like Inside Out 2 and The Wild Robot, and managed to be one of the few animated films nominated for Best International Feature.
Flow is a simple, but deeply affecting story about the power of nature to cause societies to form and collapse, offering only hints at what the civilization in place looked like before a catastrophic event. Although it can be read as being a film about climate change, the changing of the world in Flow happens as the result of a natural process, which accounts for its magnificent beauty.

‘Inside Out’ (2015)
Inside Out is one of the last truly great Pixar films, and it’s also one of the most dense and psychologically interrogative works of cinema within the entire century. Pixar has made a habit of making surprisingly mature, thought-provoking films that cause the adults in the audience to have existential crises, but Inside Out takes that notion farther than usual by examining the literal way that developing minds work. It’s a film about the loss of childhood and path of adolescence that examines the declining of imagination, development of mixed emotions, and uncomfortable ways that memories can be recolored and reinterpreted. That Inside Out is such a probing work of analysis doesn’t prevent it from being a wildly imaginative and exciting, colorful adventure with some of the most impressive 3D visuals that Pixar has ever pulled off.
Inside Out is an important film for children to see because it is able to talk about depression and anxiety without saying it outright; while the primary focus is on Riley, the young protagonist, Inside Out also makes a point of showing what goes on in her parents’ minds, with sadness controlling her mother and anger controlling her father. While the sequel, Inside Out 2, was a massive financial success that reaffirmed Pixar’s monopoly on animation, it didn’t have quite the same original ingenuity as its predecessor.

‘The Wind Rises’ (2013)
The Wind Rises is the film that Hayao Miyazaki had been waiting his entire career to complete because it confronts the tension that has been underneath his body of work. There is an inherent conflict for Miyazaki, a staunch anti-capitalist, of making art that can be consumed by the masses and controlled by institutions that he does not agree with. This ties into his own family history intertwined with World War II, as The Wind Rises shows the story of a genius airplane designer who struggles when his creations are used as tools of war. The question of whether artists are responsible for the way that their work is used is a fascinating one that invites discussion.
The Wind Rises isn’t the first time Miyazaki has approached the subject of war, as he covered similar themes in his underrated classic Porco Rosso, but it’s one of his most low-key and atmospheric projects ever. Although most of Miyazaki’s films can still be enjoyed by kids (with some like My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away directly aimed at them), The Wind Rises is a historical biopic that just happens to use animation as a medium. It’s the perfect companion piece to Miyazaki’s most recent (and potentially final) film The Boy and the Heron, which was inspired by his own experiences as a young man.
Chadwick Boseman’s widow is hitting back after the late actor’s brothers filed a motion to remove her as administrator of his estate.
In new court documents obtained by Us on Thursday, September 24, Taylor Simone Ledward, 35, slammed the petition, which was filed by Chadwick’s brothers Derrick and Kevin, as a “public-relations stunt to smear [her] in the tabloid press.”
Ledward denied allegations that she didn’t comply with orders to distribute the remaining assets from Chadwick’s estate. Ledward insisted via the court documents, which were filed on Thursday in a Los Angeles court, that not only did she follow the court order to distrube the estate, she had been more generous than required when it came to Boseman’s family members.
“Simone has not only complied with the Order, but as a product solely of her own extraordinary generosity, she has gone well beyond what was required of her,” Ledward’s lawyer Adam Streisand wrote in the court docs.
Chadwick Boseman’s brothers have filed a motion to remove the actor’s widow, Simone Ledward Boseman, as the administrator of his estate. “Simone’s generosity has been both financial and collaborative. She has always included the Boseman family in her efforts to ensure Chadwick’s memory would endure and flourish long after her husband’s tragic and untimely death,” the documents further read.
“This is how the family repays her: a Petition replete with falsehoods under oath, purposefully used as a public-relations stunt to smear Simone in the tabloid press, not to mention the collateral damage it has caused to her husband’s legacy.”
Kevin and Derrick had petitioned the court via documents filed earlier this month and obtained by Us. The siblings are now requesting — six years after Chadwick’s death — that Ledward be removed from her position as estate administrator.
“[Ledward] continues to exercise complete control over his estate without input from Leroy and Carolyn [Boseman],” Kevin and Derrick’s motion reads, referring to their parents. “[Kevin and Derrick] respectfully request that this court enter an order directing [Ledward] to show cause for why she should not be held in contempt for disobeying the court’s order. [Kevin and Derrick] also ask that the court compel [Ledward] to distribute the remaining estate assets, provide a full accounting with receipts for her time as administrator and remove her from serving as administrator going forward.”

The petition stipulated that Ledward is entitled to 50 percent of Chadwick’s assets since the Black Panther star died without a will, and that Chadwick’s parents should receive 25 percent of the trust.
“Nearly four years later, [Ledward] has still not distributed the estate, nor has she filed a petition for discharge with receipts,” the court filing reads. “Instead, [Ledward] continues to exert unilateral control over Decedent’s estate, denying Decedent’s family long overdue closure or participation in decision-making regarding matters affecting Leroy and Carolyn’s interests in [Chadwick’s] estate.”

In a statement shared with Us, Kevin and Derrick revealed they filed the lawsuit on behalf and “with the authority” of their parents.
“For years, our parents have sought clarity regarding matters connected to the estate of our brother, Chadwick Boseman, including his intellectual property and legacy,” the statement read. “This action was filed on behalf of, and with the authority of, our parents, Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, who assigned their respective interests in the estate to Boseman Family LLC. Our family was unaware, until recently, that nearly four years after the court’s [October 2022] order for final distribution, the administrator had not closed the probate estate. Our petition seeks enforcement of the court’s order and the relief requested in the filing.”
Kevin and Derrick further stated their intentions to “respect the legal process.” “On behalf of our parents, we are committed to ensuring that transparency, accountability, and respect guide the resolution of these matters. Our hope is that this process brings clarity, honors the Court’s orders, and ensures the responsible stewardship of Chadwick’s legacy,” the siblings wrote. “We love our brother, and we remain committed to preserving his legacy with dignity, integrity and respect. While these matters proceed through the appropriate legal process, we remain focused on protecting our parents’ interests, honoring Chadwick responsibly, and continuing the purposeful work we are building through Boseman Family LLC.”
Ledward married Chadwick in 2020, three years before his death at age 43 following a private battle with colon cancer.
“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman,” the statement shared with Us at the time read. “Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016 and battled with it these last four years as it progressed to stage IV.” The obituary continued, “A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson‘s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy. It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.”

Daniel Craig, after a multi-year stint as James Bond, retired as the character in No Time to Die (2021) and it meant the search was on for the next super agent. Looking to the future, Amazon moved to hire both Denis Villeneuve and Steven Knight to work on the new 007 film, and with that, there was an increased search on their part to determine who would step into the legendary tuxedo of Bond. Fans, for their part, have their own ideas of whom they feel would make a perfect MI6 agent now in the King’s Service.
Top on the list of die-hard fans of the franchise were the likes of Henry Cavill and Idris Elba, both of whom have impressive portfolios perfectly capable of locking down the role with little fuss. However, those in charge of making these decisions seem to have an entirely different idea in mind. While no one can speak down on the quality both aforementioned actors would bring to the role, according to the revelation made by casting director Nina Gold, Amazon was eyeing a younger actor for the project and, as such, it meant the elimination of the Superman and Hijack stars.
The character of James Bond has always been played exclusively by white, Caucasian men, and Ian Fleming never explicitly wrote the words white or Caucasian in his original novels. It was clear that given his familial background, described physical traits, and cultural markers, Mr. Bond was a white British man. In the wake of new casting rumors regarding the character, questions surrounding both Bond’s race and gender have arisen. Could James Bond be black or female? Charlie Higson, who is the author of five bestselling Young Bond books among others, while speaking to The Telegraph, is in no doubt about who should, and who should not, be the next James Bond. “Bond could be black, that wouldn’t be a problem,” Higson said. “But there would be no point making Bond a woman, because the character’s about what it means to be a man. It’s a representation of manhood and manliness.”
The New James Bond Should Be Announced Soon
Higson goes on to explain that Bond was, in some ways, a reflection of the man who created him in the first place. “Ian Fleming famously suffered from depression, and put a lot of that into both Bond and the villains,” the King Zero author explained. “Bond is in the same position as a lot of men. So long as he’s doing something, he doesn’t have to think about that other side of things.” So, should Higson’s analysis fly with those making the tough decisions, who might James Bond ultimately be? Recent reports suggest that Amazon is currently in the final stages of the selection process with six names — Jack Barton, Jack Lowden, Callum Turner, Jacob Elordi, Paul Mescal, and Harris Dickinson — making it to the latter stages. While a decision is yet to be made regarding who gets the final nod, there are rumors that the decision might have been made already.

My right arm is the only thing I can use, and I have all the water kicking up from the jet skis. So I’m drinking the water and I’m thinking, ‘Parasites!’ That’s all I can think about. As soon as she got back on land, Glanville felt several injuries.
“Everyone kept touching me. And even just touching my back, it hurt. I was spinning. I couldn’t hear out of my left ear immediately. I was about to throw up, but then the camera guy was in my face, and I’m like, ‘You’re not getting this from me,’” she explained. “So I sat down, and they’re like, ‘Stand up!’ I’m like, ‘I cannot stand up. I will pass out and hit my head.’”
Glanville continued: “Of course I’m thinking all these crazy things, but everyone seemed to go through it really easily. Like, I was the second one to do it, and I’m watching all these girls go do it, and I’m like, ‘Am I just a disaster? Why can’t I do it like everyone else?’”
After departing the show, Glanville still struggled.
“It’s hard to turn [my arm]. Then my left boob is under my armpit, so that’s fun. And you’d have to fix that. But I hit the water really hard,” she noted. “We had to take boats because of my ear to the hospital, so we took three separate boats. We got to the hospital, and you cannot fly. I had a concussion and a perforated eardrum and all of these things. I had the worst headache where it just doesn’t go away.”
Glanville clarified that she was “on the mend,” adding, “I think that there are still just moments where I’m feeling like I’m an old lady to do that. We don’t recover like we used to. I mean, if I was 20, I really would have liked to dive and swim out of there.”
While Glanville didn’t make it to the end, she expressed pride in how far she got.
“I’m, like, so proud that I just didn’t give up and I just didn’t want to be the first one out. Obviously no one really wants to be,” she told Us. “I wanted to prove to my kids I could do it, but I had to go to the doctor. I was done. But I think that this still proves to the kids that I was kind of a badass.”
Glanville — who dealt with years of unrelated health issues prior to competing on Special Forces — shares two sons, Mason, 23, and Jake, 19, with her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.

Dakota Johnson is never one to shy away from the sheer dress trend.
Attending the London premiere of Verity on Thursday, September 24, the actress, 36, opted for a racy number as she rocked the red carpet.
For the star-studded event, Johnson donned a daring beige lace dress designed by Colleen Allen that offered a peek at her black lingerie by Fleur du Mal underneath.
Johnson’s see-through look also featured intricate lace detailing and a figure-skimming silhouette. She kept the rest of her look relatively understated, letting the sheer dress take center stage.
Speaking to Vogue Germany in October 2025, Johnson admitted she is not fazed about baring some skin. Asked by the outlet whether she ever feels as though wearing naked dresses is “too sexy,” she responded, “I really don’t care.”
“I’ve been able to wear some of the most beautiful dresses, and I feel beautiful in them, so I wear them,” the actress said.
She further added, “If I find a beautiful dress that I feel comfortable in, of course I want to wear it! And it’s fun to wear a sexy dress.”
In the interview, Johnson explained that her famous mom, Melanie Griffith, “was very open about the topic of bodies.” Her mom’s attitude led her to feel confident while growing up, she noted.

Johnson’s red carpet turn comes after Us confirmed that she and Machine Gun Kelly recently went on a first date at mutual friend Taylor Swift’s apartment in New York City.
“They hit it off and wanted some privacy,” a source exclusively told Us earlier this month. “So, Dakota contacted Taylor, and Taylor said she wasn’t home, so they could use her place. Apparently, Taylor lets her close friends use her place when she’s away.”

Kim Kardashian Says New Reality Show Began As A Joke
Speaking to PEOPLE alongside her co-executive producer, Natalie Ento, Kim shared some behind-the-scenes details about the series and shed light on how the show originated.
“Every year, we take our kids on some sports adventure together,” Kim said. “Three years ago, we were in Spain; we were at a soccer tournament. Natalie’s a coach, so she was coming back, venting about stories and crazy situations and intense parents, passionate parents. And we kind of joked and said, ‘This would be such a riveting reality show. It would be insane.”
Kim Kardashian Struggled Between Two Sports When Creating Show
After working on the idea, Kim said she and Ento brought the show to various networks and said: “Everyone jumped on it.”
While networks were bidding on the series, Kim and Ento debated between following “soccer parents” or “basketball moms,” saying both could have bold personalities. After much back-and-forth, though, the pair settled on baseball.

“Team Moms” premieres tonight, September 24, and follows seven families: the Baldris, the Dunmars, the Feldhackers, the Mears, the Scoffones, the Taylors, and the Wolcziks.
In a press release about the new series, Kim said she could tell there was something special about the group of moms they found for the show.
“We knew immediately there was something special about this world. These families are passionate, competitive, and completely all in when it comes to their kids—and sometimes what happens in the stands is just as intense as what happens on the field. That’s what makes ‘Team Moms: Baseball’ so much fun to watch,” she said.
Khloé Kardashian Is Also Producing Shows
Kim isn’t the only Kardashian in her producer bag, according to The Blast. Khloé Kardashian recently announced her new series, “The Girls,” featuring her personal crew of besties, including Malika and Khadijah Haqq.
While speaking about the show, Khloé said that the cast were her “chosen family” and her “incredible inner circle of real-life besties.” She also praised them as “moms and moguls” before finishing with, “They’re my girls.”
Kim Starred In A Scripted Hulu Show
Before producing “Team Moms,” Kim shifted from filming her family’s reality show to partnering with Ryan Murphy to appear in his scripted legal drama, “All’s Fair.” The show follows an all-female group of high-powered divorce attorneys with Kim’s character, Allura Grant, at the center. She co-founded her boutique firm after leaving a male-dominated practice that cast women aside.
In a previous interview, Kim said she based her character on her family’s real-life lawyer, Laura Wasser.
“We consulted with her. It was just so important to have someone that I could want to channel and want to feel. And that was Laura, who’s just like a badass woman that takes care of other women,” Kim said before going on to praise the show, which also stars Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor, and Glenn Close.
“I love these women,” the SKIMS founder added. “We learned a lot together. I learned a lot from them showing up and coming on set every single day and just seeing them work and seeing what they do. They are the best at what they do. That was the best lesson I could have learned.”

“George, Amal [Clooney], and a few of their other close friends have been taking shifts staying with the family so they aren’t alone,” an insider revealed to People Magazine. “George and Amal joined the family in Los Angeles after learning of Presley’s death.”
It’s no surprise the Clooneys ditched whatever they had going on to be there for the heartbroken parents, as the “Ocean’s Eleven” actor and Rande have been tight buds for decades. They co-founded the tequila brand Casamigos with Mike Meldman in 2013.
Describing George as “family,” the source noted that the actor has wasted no time helping with funeral arrangements and emotional encouragement. “George has always been very close with both Kaia and Presley,” added the informant.
The Actor Had A Quiet Role In Late Presley Gerber’s Life
The Hollywood star’s bond with the model and businessman extends to their two children, Presley and Kaia, as he was fondly referred to as “Uncle George.”
He was particularly close to the late Presley amid his addiction and mental health struggles, offering him encouragement whenever he felt down.
“George is completely shattered by Presley’s death. He’s known him his entire life, and he never imagined things would ever get to this point,” a source said about the sad situation, per The Blast.

Presley was pronounced dead on September 20 after paramedics responded to a 911 call for a cardiac arrest in the 1000 block of Berkeley St. at 9:35 a.m. Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records confirmed he was at a rehab center.
Amid the unfortunate situation, more light has been shed on George and Presley’s relationship and how the actor was a constant source of guidance for the 27-year-old.
Per The Blast, the “Jay Kelly” star has been present as stable since Presley’s childhood until he began getting in trouble. George was particularly helpful when the late model was charged with driving under the influence in 2018.
Recalling how the 65-year-old came through for Presley, an insider explained, “Especially after Presley got a DUI (in 2018), George would advise, ‘Don’t do that; it’s not smart. Be careful.’”
The actor didn’t stop encouraging Crawford and Rande’s son to get clean even in recent times, offering him all the support he needed. Some of George’s recent message exchanges with Presley saw him writing, “‘I am here for you,’ that kind of stuff,” according to the source.

The pain of Presley’s death is further compounded given his parents’ unconditional support and love until the very end.
According to insiders, the tragic circumstance of Crawford and Rande’s son’s passing wasn’t due to neglect or bad parenting.
“Cindy and Rande could not have been more supportive of Presley. They were always there for him and did everything they could to help him,” the source explained, as reported by The Blast.
Describing Presley’s substance use struggles as “very up and down,” the insider noted the young adult seemed to be doing well in recent years, even working at the family restaurant in Malibu.
“That is what makes this so heartbreaking. His family never stopped supporting him, loving him, and hoping that he would be okay,” lamented the source.
Presley Gerber Struggled To Find His Place In Final Months
It turns out Crawford and her husband weren’t alone in getting help for their son, as Presley himself had checked into a facility after recognizing he was struggling.
According to The Blast, in his final weeks, those close to the young model noticed he seemed unusual, but they couldn’t place it. “He seemed a little off in recent weeks. Something was just not there. Energetically, he didn’t seem like himself,” noted the insider.
Another source explained that Presley, who dealt with self-esteem issues while alive, felt like “he was lacking purpose in his life” and “hadn’t really found his place.”
