Ferrari has announced a new multi-year contract extension for Charles Leclerc, keeping the Monegasque driver with the team beyond his previous agreement.
The 28-year-old has been a key figure for Ferrari since joining the team in 2019 and remains central to its ambitions in Formula 1.
Formula 1 confirmed the news on Wednesday, announcing that Leclerc had agreed fresh terms with the Italian team.
Since arriving at Ferrari, Leclerc has established himself as one of the sport’s leading drivers, earning five Grand Prix victories and numerous podium finishes. Among his career highlights is his emotional victory at the Monaco Grand Prix, one of the most significant wins of his career.
Leclerc is currently third in the 2026 Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship standings with 75 points and continues to form a high-profile partnership with seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton.
The new agreement provides Ferrari with continuity as the team looks to challenge for major honours in the seasons ahead.
Leclerc also reiterated his commitment to Ferrari, stating that he remains determined to help return the team to the top of Formula 1.
With his future now secured, attention turns back to the track as Ferrari continues their 2026 campaign.
